truly the best bartenders ever

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Carolina Cocktails. First off, when trying to decide a menu of alcohol to offer, they were so accommodating to what we wanted to do. We swapped out so many drinks and liquors for different options and it never once was an issue! Wedding day they were truly the sweetest bartenders I've ever seen at an event! I had so many wedding guests approach me afterwards to tell me how awesome they were. They are very professional and watch out for the guests but they make sure we are all served efficiently and well lol. I would 100% hire them again.

The Best!!

Carolina Cocktails was the best!! Eric just bartended at our wedding this past weekend and was absolutely amazing. We have received so many compliments on him from friends and family. We had an issue trying to find a new bar tending service 3 weeks out from our wedding, and everything went so smoothly the minute I contacted Eric. He was very responsive and informative and very reasonably priced! He provided everything we needed. I even requested a mixer he typically didn’t have and he provided it no problem! If we ever need another bar tending service Carolina Cocktails would be my first call hands down. Thank you Eric!

Carolina Cocktails
If you are on the edge about who to choose for your special day/event, look no further. Planning a wedding in Charleston, SC was not easy; everyone wants your business and your money, but no one knows how to be personal and communicative. I would send emails and not receive a response in days, sometimes weeks from companies and then I emailed Eric Morton at Carolina Cocktails. He responded to my first email within 15 minutes (at 10pm at night) and by 9a.m. the next morning, I had an estimate for my wedding day. He worked with me closely on customizing my menu and was so professional and very polite. His team were wonderful on our wedding day; organized, anticipatory of our guests needs, complimentary, professional and courteous. I cannot speak highly enough of Eric and his company. So again, if you are on the fence about who to hire, Eric and Carolina Cocktails are your best bet; hands down!

My husband and I were very pleased with the service Carolina Cocktails provided! The bartenders were very professional and friendly. We were also grateful for the military discount provided. Thank you for making our big day even better, and we would definitely recommend their services!

We booked with Carolina Cocktails to serve at a couples shower and hands down it was the easiest aspect of the party planning! We had a full bar so everyone had the cocktail of their choice. Eric was very response with the initial quote and we easily made the choices for beer, wine and liquor that was served. He followed up with us before the event to double check times and to let us know when he and staff would be on site. We had 2 bartenders, no lines and no one had an empty drink all night. I had many of the attendants asking for their contact information for future events. I would highly recommend them!

Eric was great, loved the bar service he provided for our wedding and rehearsal. He was super easy to work with, accommodating with special requests and is by far the best value of any comparable company. You won’t be disappointed!

We were looking for a Cocktail company that was reasonably priced and would let us to bring our own alcohol to our wedding reception. We wanted to customize our bar options and Carolina Cocktails let us do that! Eric was extremely responsive to emails answering all questions we had and was easy to work with. His staff provided our guests with great service. The bartenders were interactive with our guests, professional, and friendly. We've heard nothing but positive comments from our guests regarding Carolina Cocktails and we enjoyed their service as well!

Eric and his team did a phenomenal job at our wedding. He was punctual, professional, but also.. a bartender. What I mean is he was fun! funny, and attentive. The drinks were great and you can tell he takes great pride in doing a phenomenal job. If I ever do anything in the Carolinas he’s my first call. Hire this guy!

Carolina cocktails and Eric were amazing to work with! They were one of my favorite vendors because of their accommodating, professional and confident attitude. I never once worried about the bar service at my wedding because I knew we were in such good hands. I can not recommend them enough!!!

Eric of Carolina Cocktails did an excellent job providing bar service for our daughter's wedding! He was so easy to work with in the planning stage--always positive and helpful. He offered more choices for wine and beer than others that we looked at. At the reception, he and his fellow bartender were friendly, professional, and pleasant to all. My guests commented on how friendly and wonderful the bar service was!

Carolina Cocktails is a great option for bar service, especially if you are interested in saving money. Eric was very responsive to my many questions and emails. He was very amenable to exactly what we wanted to offer for our bar service and gave good suggestions. We opted to buy our own alcohol. Eric helped us decide on amounts to purchase from Total Wine, they picked it up and began icing it and had it all set up in plenty of time for the wedding. At the end of the evening they packed up the leftovers which we were able to return the next day. Great working with Carolina Cocktails!

Although the groom and I were so busy that we were only able to get one drink, I guest enjoyed the bar. I was able to meet Mike, the bartender, he seemed very professional. Our guest ranted and raved about how much they enjoyed the bar. Thanks Carolina Cocktails!!!

I will use Carolina cocktails for all of my events to come! My wedding was on Easter Sunday and they were awesome. I was given a great package deal with open bar service. My guest were amazed at how fast the drinks were coming. They just kept them coming without delay. I had about 200 guests and they did not run out of drinks and there was something for everyone! Eric did a great job on our wedding! My husband wanted different selections of beers, liquor, and wine that finding a bar service with good pricing wasn't easy so we decided to get a mixer package for all guests & provide our own beer, wine, and liquor. Eric and his partner were awesome! My whole experience with Eric was really laid back. He responded to all of questions and concerns very promptly. When he went out of the country he informed me that it may take a couple of days for him to respond, so don't think that he his brushing me off or anything. I really appreciated that gesture. The customer service him and his partner offered the day of my were exceptional. I had an open bar with a signature cocktail that was a huge hit. Their service was so good to the point that my great-uncle left them with a pretty hefty tip, which was not required should I say. That just was how awesome they were. If you are looking for a bartender that is very professional, laid back, but really knows what they are doing go with Carolina Cocktails!!!! Thanks Eric;)

Carolina Cocktails did a wonderful job at our reception. Eric was great to work with and very accommodating. My husband and I do not live in Charleston, but we were able to work out all of the details by phone and email. Several of our guest have commented on the friendliness of the Carolina Cocktails bartenders. They offer several different bar packages and are willing to customize an option to meet your needs. I called Eric at the last minute to add a water and tea service, and he took care of it with no problems. This is just one example of how Carolina Cocktails worked very hard to make our reception fabulous. I would highly recommend using their services for a party or event.

Eric was wonderful he was the best priced bar services we found in Charleston. He was very accommodating, we asked him if he could add a coffee bar to his services and even though he had never done it he came back with a quote and was willing to make it happen just because we asked. He honored my husbands military service with a discount which we appreciated very much. He was very professional at our meeting before the wedding and even more so with all of my guest at the wedding. Everyone loved him. The entire night he took care of my husband and I and never let our glasses go empty (which is important). A week before the wedding we had a change of heart on the beer choices and we called Eric and he made the changes for us. Eric was one of the easiest and most pleasant vendors I had the privileged to work with for my wedding. I would recommend him to anyone planning an event with bar services!

Eric was awesome! With all that went wrong at the last minute...He was the one vendor I knew I could count on. Any questions I had, he was there with a quick and informative response. He did everything he could do to make my day special. Everyone at the wedding thought he was wonderful, and that includes me. If you want a reliable bartending service and not have to worry about whether he will be there or be professional, HIRE CAROLINA COCKTAILS. You will not be disappointed. I hope to see him again at my cousins wedding in April, that is how impressed she was with him!

Eric was so easy to work with and willing to accomodate our requests-even having his bartenders use a lemonade stand to go with the motif. Further, the bartenders with Carolina Cocktails helped keep a possibly hairy situaiton under wraps-as we were notified the day of that absolutely no glass could be outside-including liquor and wine bottles! Eric saved the day- grabbing with plastic pitchers and our guests never knew there was a potential issue at all. The bartenders were professional in appearance and incredibly sweet. They went above and beyond to help make our day everything it wanted it to be- and of course- there was plenty liquor and beer for all. Carolina Cocktails prices and service can't be beat-a true livesaver for an out- of-town bride on a budget! We definately recommend them to all!

Eric was amazing. Very down to earth person who knew his stuff. We had plenty of alcohol and everyone was impressed by how anytime you asked for a drink it did not run out. And of course all the guest loved the bartenders as well. I highly recommend this vendor.

I can find absolutely nothing negative to say about Eric and his wonderful team. Their bar packages are some of the lowest that we found, yet they provided the impeccable service I would expect from a high-dollar bar service. We requested specific changes to the package we selected, and Eric was more than happy to make these substitutions for our special day.

Their set-up at the venue was elegant and the bar staff themselves treated every guest with an attention to detail, gracious courtesy and friendliness that is quite often lacking in many of the industry big names.

As I worked in a hospital at the time of our event planning, Eric was always very understanding of my irregular work hours and was never difficult to get in touch with at odd hours; further, he always responded to voicemails and email with clockwork punctuality.

To say that Eric and his team are on the ball would be an understatement; I will never consider another bar service for my future needs, and I wouldn't recommend any service other than Carolina Cocktails.

Great drinks!

Eric and his crew delivered great service at a very affordable price. They were quick to respond to emails and I found them easy to work with as far as designing my signature cocktails and and any special need I might have. I used Carolina Cocktails for bartending services at my wedding reception. Overall, I would definitely recommend them. What I loved best about this company was how easy it was to get in contact with them. Specifically, Eric Morton was great at responding to my emails and questions within hours. It makes the whole process of planning much more enjoyable and easier when you have a vendor that responds quickly and professionally. They were truly great to work with before the wedding.

The only reason I gave 4 stars for quality of service is because the bar at my reception was unattended the first 15 minutes that guests arrived. This could have been a communication problem between the planner and the company; I'm not sure. But other than that, there was nothing else to complain about with this company.

We booked Carolina Cocktails for our wedding and were severely disappointed in their service. We made it very clear from day 1 that great cocktails were critically important to our reception; they failed to deliver on that promise.

Before the wedding, we tried twice to meet with the vendor for a tasting, securing a weekend five and four months in advance respectively for a simple 45 minute session. The first time, the vendor bailed a week out, promised his sister would meet us for the tasting, and then she failed to find time for us. The second time, we specifically flew in to Charleston rather than Hilton Head (two hour drive) to meet him and he attempted to bail three days in advance. In fairness, we did manage to work out that second meeting after a flurry of phone calls and a good deal of stress on our part. When we did meet, the cocktails we sampled were fantastic, and after once again making it clear how important they were to our wedding, we left feeling better.

At the wedding, despite very clearly and over more than a year reiterating that specialty cocktails were important to us, they ran out of one (the old fashioned) before the cocktail hour ended and the other two as it ended. These were supposed to be available all night and both we and our guests were obviously upset (and confused by our bar signs). In a vain attempt to solve the problem more than an hour after it was first realized, the owner ran out to grab extra materials, returning with liquor that couldn't even be used. It was a disaster.

Pandemic Wedding

They kept our 500 dollar deposit when we had to cancel our wedding on April 18th in the middle of the pandemic. Our venue closed it’s doors a couple weeks before the wedding and refunded us. Caterer, equipment rental, hair, photographer, and cake people all refunded us because of this crazy situation. Eric didn’t respond when I asked about getting the deposit back. They were the only vendor to not refund our money. They emailed my fiancé with the reasoning of “Per our cancellation policy.” I could never recommend any company like this to anyone

Eric received half a star because I don't have the ability to give him zero stars. He was hired for my sons wedding on 7/22/17 to provide a full open bar for 4 hours for 160 people. He ran out of multiple items; rum, cranberry juice, moscato, and left one bartender twice to get more during the reception. He was gone for more than half an hour each time, leaving one bartender to serve 160 people. Understandably, the man who was left was flustered at the constant line, however, he became very rude to guests who were waiting to get a cocktail, so rude, that he told the groom that if he wanted soda he could go get it from the car. When I reached out to Eric a couple of days after the wedding to let him know my disappointment in the service, he explained to me that he has a hard time figuring out how much product to bring. I think that a professional bar service should be able to do exactly that. He promised to refund the fee for the second bartender, as much of the party was only attended to by one person. That was 4 weeks ago. We have not received his check. He does not answer emails.
