  Beyond Amazing!

  Carol goes above and beyond to get the perfect shot. We worked with her for the engagement shoot and wedding and I am over the moon for the photos! They are incredible. I'm looking forward to working with her again!

  My wife Emily and I got married on March 31st, 2018 at Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida.
  
  Words cannot begin to justify how pleased we are with the photos Carol has taken of our wedding day. She has far surpassed anything we could have ever expected with the vast collection of breathtaking pictures.
  
  Choosing someone with the responsibility of capturing such an important day in your life can be a challenging and even stressful decision. Carol is not only an extremely gifted photographer, but the level of service she provided was far above any I have had the opportunity to witness at other weddings. Often I feel the part in which photos are taken at weddings to be robotic with the photos looking nice but somewhat predictable and nothing that really takes your breath away.
  
  Carol's personal approach put both Emily and myself at ease, and it was like we had known her for years. Her eye for capturing each important moment as well as capturing the beautiful surroundings is astonishing.
  
  Not only does Carol have a tremendous eye, but coordinating over a long distance was extremely easy. Carol responds quickly to emails or phone calls and while taking care to supply an ample selection of pictures to choose from is fast to provide them using a personal online gallery.
  
  Emily and I cannot thank Carol enough. She really has captured a moment in time which we will cherish forever.

  Carol was amazing to work with! My husband and I were planning our wedding from several hours away, and Carol was more than accommodating. She kept in contact with us throughout the wedding planning process, and communicated every detail of her part in our day. The pictures she took were stunning!

  Carol allocates time for photos very carefully and makes arrangements that help minimize confusion on a very busy wedding day! With Carol's foresight, we were able to obtain close to 1000 beautiful photos without missing time with our guests.

  Carol was GREAT!!! I really didn't even know she was there the entire day and the pictures came out fantastic!!! She was extremely responsive when I was originally looking for a photographer and very, very easy to talk to about some of my ideas. We were also very lucky that we got our pictures back from her in about two weeks!!! I loved every picture, and I can honestly say that I would recommend anyone to choose Carol as the photographer at their wedding!!!

  Carol was a great photographer! She met with us before signing the contract on a weekend just so we could review her work. We loved all the pictures we saw and knew Carol was our girl right away. She was also prompt, professional, and polite at all times in our interactions with her. With the package we chose, we got a complimentary engagement session which gave us tons of great pre-wedding pictures to enjoy along with getting some experience being in front of a professional's camera. On our wedding day, Carol did a great job and exceeded all our expectations. We would recommend Carol to anyone looking for beautiful and classic photos.   Choosing Carol McDonald as our wedding photographer was one of the best choices my husband and I made for our wedding in October!   We found Carol through a google search and fell in love with her website. Carol's style is creative and her website is very professional.   If you are a modern bride with creative ideas and a flair for those candid moments captured on camera, Carol is the photographer for you. She is not stale like all those other photographers in northeast PA. She will give you top-market products with an expensive look for NEPA rates.

  We found Carol McDonald Photography over the internet, when I looked at her work over other photographers we knew we were going to get great quality photos, and that we did. All my friends and family were amazed at how beautiful the pictures were.

  Carol was an amazing photographer! She was always very helpful and attentive. She was always available and travelled to me many times (including my engagement session which was in West Chester, PA and my wedding in Bethlehem, PA). Her photos were so beautiful that I had to take a lot of time to narrow them down for my album. She is also very fun and comfortable to work with (she was able to make my husband laugh and smile in the pictures, which can be very difficult!) My favorite thing about her is the artistic viewpoint she has. My pictures really were amazing! Thank you Carol!

  Carol exceeded our expectations in every way! From the beginning when we interviewed several photographers, we immediately clicked with her personality, style and professionalism. The photography of our wedding was the one vendor that we were most excited about, as we wanted photos that were photojournalistic and provided a high level of artistry. Her work exceeded our high expectations! Working with Carol was also incredibly easy; she was prompt and professional and she ensured that everything went seamlessly thus making us very comfortable on such a stressful day. We received numerous complements on the creative qualities of the photos, and would highly recommend her to anyone!!!

  Carol's work is comparable or better than other photographers in the area and her prices are very reasonable. She was great to work with from day one. Through the entire process, she answered all of my questions quickly and completely as well as being personable. The day of the wedding she had such a wonderful air of composure regardless of what was going on and that really helped to keep everyone else calm and on track. She was so good at finding the best place to be to take pictures that you never even knew she was there and the pictures came out wonderfully. My husband even commented on how impressed he was with her professionalism as there had evidently been major issues with the photographers at both of his brothers' weddings. We love our pictures and album and would book Carol again in a second.

  I would absolutely recommend Carol McDonald to anyone searching for a photographer. My husband and I met her at a wedding expo and Carol's work stood out to us by far compared to the other photographers we met. We both work in the art field, so strong creativity was important to us. We love the photo journalistic style, but traditional family shots were also important to us — Carol did a fantastic job of mixing both. We were offered a free engagement photo session which we shot in downtown Bethlehem, PA. Carol went above and beyond to make us feel at ease and to create the best settings for shots. I believe being in front of the camera with her before our big day really helped our wedding shots to be as natural as can be.
  
  On the actual day of the wedding, Carol and her assistant devoted the entire day to us. It felt like Carol was an old friend or one of my bridesmaids at this point! She was so comfortable and fun to work with. She seemed to capture every detail of our day effortlessly. Our wedding day turned out to be an unseasonably cold and rainy day in October. So much so, that Carol was offering me her sweater in between shots to help me warm up! We tried to get as many shots in as possible before the rain got to be too much, but ran short on time. Originally, my husband and I had had the idea to take some shots at a nearby pumpkin patch but the bad weather made this impossible. A few days after the wedding, Carol contacted me and said she was so disappointed we never got to shoot at the pumpkin patch and asked us if we would be willing to dress up the following weekend and take photos at the patch. That weekend was sunny and gorgeous and the shots Carol took of us there were so unique and creative that they are definitely some of my favorites. We ended up with so many fantastic pictures to choose from and a beautiful photo book that my husband and I will treasure always. Carol was simply fabulous throughout the entire process.

  My husband and I are more than happy to recommend Carol McDonald Photography! We worked with Carol for our September 2011 wedding and were elated with the results. Her professionalism, creativity, commitment to art, and end-product were outstanding. My father, a NYC photographer, assisted us in selecting Carol. He was impressed with her portfolio, stating that it stood apart from her NEPA competition (“hands-down, more creative”) and was comparable to any NYC high-end photographer.
  
  Carol offered us a free engagement shoot and was accommodating when we asked to do it at a county fair. She seemed to have just as much fun as us! On the day of our wedding, Carol managed to capture the most candid and beautiful moments without being intrusive. She followed our requests and was able to balance formal shots with photojournalistic shots, as we wished. She arrived at the bridal suite around 11:00 AM and worked until 10:00 PM, showing no sign of slowing. Her fee for service was reasonable, and Carol was one of the only photographers we considered that offered full-day service without a time limit. Though we only met once before the wedding, Carol felt like an old friend by the time the wedding began.
  
  While it did take longer than expected for the photos to arrive (just over 2 months), Carol gave us a gift certificate to purchase photos due to the delay. Looking at the photos for the first time, I began to cry. Carol managed to capture the emotionality of each moment with her shots, truly painting a complete story of our event. We also appreciated how she narrowed-down our options to three or four of the best of each angle/subject and offered them in black-and-white and color, allowing us to build an album to our liking.
  
  In sum, we highly recommend Carol and look forward to working with her again.

  Carol was a wonderful photographer and as flexible as we could have asked for! Planning a wedding from out of town was more difficult than we imagined, but Carol was always available via phone or email to talk and answer questions. The engagement photos were wonderful - and she even helped us pick the perfect fall weekend to do them. And for any brides worried about rain on their big day - I was married as a hurricane hit the east coast last year. i was petrified my pictures would be awful but Carol reassured me that overcast days were the best for photography - and she was right! She quickly got all the pictures we wanted done, without me or my dress getting drenched. I would definitely recommend her to anyone getting married in northeast PA. Don't hesitate to ask for exactly what you want - I did, and we got it all!
