Not only was the price point what we were looking for, the food was great, included cake and cupcakes, linens, chairs..the list goes on. Besides all that, Cathy was great at communicating from start to finish. Even if I thought it was a stupid question she always answered my MANY questions. She allowed me and my husband to bring our own non-alcoholic drinks, she decorated our big cross for our ceremony, decorated our chairs with what we provided her, let us bring plates of food home of guests who did not show up, little things like that made me grateful for how accommodating she was. She also walked us through cake cutting and other things we didn't know what to do for! But the biggest thing I will remember about Cathy is: I started to walk out with my parents towards the aisle, and she noticed I DIDNT HAVE MY BOUQUET!!!! She ran inside to grab it and hardly anyone noticed, She literally saved my ceremony. The venue is beautiful, food was great, and Cathy was a great coordinator. 100/10 stars.Carmen's Country Inn & Gardens's reply:

Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more, entirely because of Cathy and the gorgeous scenery at Carmen's. Cathy is an absolute powerhouse. She was thoughtful, attentive, and incredibly easy to work with from day one. Having her by our side as our single point of contact made the entire planning process completely stress-free. Detail oriented, accommodating, and supportive, she was always available to answer questions and triple-checked everything multiple times prior to our big day. She helped us set up a couple of days early to calm our nerves and opened the stunning grounds so we could do our first look and share a few private words before the ceremony. She even handled a last-minute bar menu addition we made just two days before the wedding without hesitation! She had her husband on the phone within moments of our request to ensure he would be able to get us what we wanted. Cathy was very complimentary toward our efforts and unique ideas and genuinely cared about us as I’m sure she does all her couples. 😊 Even through the rain came down most of the morning, our singer and guests were fine under the pavilion outside for our (2 hour) cocktail hour! Our guests could not stop raving about the gorgeous woodland grounds at Carmen’s. From the gorgeous landscaping and water fountains to the intimate spaces, it was truly picturesque. Everything began and ended at Carmen's Country Inn & Gardens for our wedding day. The professional and courteous treatment we were shown by Cathy at Carmen's Country Inn from the first day we toured the venue right up to my
daughter's wedding day on May 30th made our wedding planning so easy! the venue inside is elegant and decorated beautifully. The gardens and water falls, flowers and walkways were absolutely exquisite. The wedding packages are very reasonable and the food was amazing! The entire staff was very professional and courteous. Look no further!
From the very first moment we visited Carmen’s Country Inn and Gardens, we knew this was the place where we were going to get married. The venue is absolutely stunning with multiple options for outdoor ceremonies as well as an indoor “plan B” for inclement weather. Her “all in” pricing makes it very easy to manage your budget, as things like linens, chairs, etc are included- even a complimentary wedding cake!
Despite the cold, rainy weather we chose to power through and have our ceremony outside under the pavilion. The ceremony was wonderful. The outside area provides countless locations and backdrops for photos, including pergolas, waterfalls, gazebos, and hundreds of flowers.
The indoor reception was great as well- laid out exactly as we had requested. The food was great, and the decor is elegant- giving a “Gatsby” type feel.
The best part though, is Cathy and her staff. We could not write enough words to describe how phenomenal their team is. From the very beginning, Cathy was very responsive, patient, and open. Her only goal is to make your day magical- and she delivered! She was extremely helpful through the entire planning process and was in attendance for any concerns and to keep the day moving- it was just like having a wedding planner.
Throughout the day, every member of her staff was polite, attentive, and focused.
So- if you are looking for a venue- we would HIGHLY recommend making Carmen’s your first stop. You will NOT be disappointed.Carmen's Country Inn & Gardens's reply:

A Magical Secret Garden Wedding We’ll Never Forget
Our wedding day at Carmen’s Country Inn & Gardens was nothing short of magical, and we owe so much of that to Cathy and her incredible team. What began as a slightly stressful morning—with unexpected rain and a shuttle bus breaking down—quickly transformed into the most beautiful, lush “secret garden” celebration we could have dreamed of. Cathy remained calm, reassuring, and unbelievably accommodating throughout the day, handling every hiccup (as she so sweetly called them) with grace and professionalism.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning, but the experience is made extraordinary by the people. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and every member of the staff was warm, friendly, and eager to help. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about everything—from the atmosphere to the hospitality—and we truly felt cared for from beginning to end.
Cathy’s pricing is fair, the experience is exceptional, and her commitment to making your day perfect shines through in every detail. Amber Sent on 12/12/2025The most magical venue for the perfect wedding day for an amazing price with so much included!! Need I say more?
We first found Carmen's Country Inn & Gardens on Zola and we reached out through there. Cathy was immediately responsive. She sent us the pricing pamphlets and menu packages and shortly after that we set up a time to come see the venue and discuss things in person. When we met, we IMMEDIATELY fell in love with the place and knew that this was where we wanted to be married. It was the first and only venue that we looked at. SO much was included and the price was unbeatable. THERE'S NO CHARGE FOR USING THE VENUE. Yeah, you read that right. You are basically only paying for the price per meal/person and you get SO MUCH!! We couldn't believe it.
There are so many menu packages to choose from and you really can't make a wrong choice when picking one. We went with Platter Service Style B with an extra entree and an open bar. Each package had so many delicious options to choose from but after much discussion, we were able to narrow it down. We went with the Top Round Roast Beef in Au Jus, Chicken Francaise, and Cavatelli Marinara. When we went to our tasting, we were absolutely blown away by the quality and flavors of the food! All three were phenomenal! We also chose the Mini Crab Cakes, Rolled Turkey and Bacon Jalapeno Poppers Chicken Tenders, and the Filet Mignon Brochettes for hors d'oeuvres. We didn't taste those before the wedding but they were also delicious! During our taste testing, we were able to pick out the design and flavor of our cake. YES, THE CAKE IS INCLUDED!! Unbelievable, right? Well, believe it! We chose the "Carmen's Love" design with chocolate cake. That was such a huge savings in itself.
We chose to have our ceremony and reception at the venue. Our ceremony was outside under the big pavilion with cocktail hour outside to follow. There is an outdoor bar area under a separate pavilion right next to the big one. That was where the hors d'oeuvres were served to our guests along with drinks served at the outside bar. Inside for the reception, all tables, chairs, linens (you choose the colors), silverware, and dishware are all provided and set up for you before the wedding. If you wanted to bring more decorations of your own, you can but you are responsible for setting them out and cleaning them up at the end of the night. The venue doesn't really need decorations because it is beautiful the way it is, but for our wedding we put out a lot of things to match our colors and theme. We were able to set everything up the night before the wedding at our rehearsal.
Now let's talk about photos. Carmen's Country Inn & Gardens is like a magical fairy garden with fountains, waterfalls, beautiful landscapes, and so many different plants, flowers, and trees. We got married on October 25, 2025 and the colors of the leaves were so vibrant and warm. The outside was decorated beautifully with pumpkins, cornstalks, hay bales, and mums. We didn't need to bring or add anything! It was better than we could've even imagined.
During the big day, Cathy is there with you at every step to make sure things stay on track and go flawlessly for you. She told me that being with the bride and groom on their wedding day is her passion and it is the thing she loves most about what she does. Cathy is amazing. She really makes sure that you are taken care of fully and she knows EXACTLY what she's doing and how things should go. I was totally clueless about a lot of things and Cathy answered all of my questions and eased all of my nerves every step of the way.
If you took the time to read this far, you are hopefully convinced that Carmen's Country Inn & Gardens is the perfect venue for your wedding day. I PROMISE that you will be so happy with this choice! You will have so many beautiful pictures to remember your special day and you will be able to think back and remember all the little things that made the day so incredible. We had our wedding at Carmens Country Inn and Gardens and seriously can not recommend this place enough. From the grounds looking stunning, the cermony going off without a hitch (thanks to Cathy and her incredible wedding corridating skills), the fantastic food, to the wedding cake, everything was absolutely perfect.
A huge thank you goes out to Cathy. She was there for us to answer all our questions, no matter how big or small. She helped us with setting up and giving us little tips and always seemed eager to help and we never felt like a bother. The day of the ceremony she ensured everything went according to plan and remained on schedule. They always say if you love what you do, youll never work a day in your life and I truly believe Cathy has never worked a day in her life. She takes so much pride in making sure people have the wedding of their dreams.
The grounds at Carmens are so well maintained and are breath taking. It truly is like walking through a fairytale. There are so many different options of places to have a ceremony and each one is unique. The outdoor area for cocktail hour is a perfect little spot for the guests of the wedding to grab some appetizers and drinks before heading inside for the reception. The reception area is extremely roomy and we had no issues fitting a wedding of about 100 people in there.
The food at Carmens is arguably the best in this area. From the day we taste tested the food we were looking forward to eating it at the wedding. Absolutely delicious. The cake was exactly what we asked for and everyone loved it!
Everything was seriously perfect and I can not recommend this place enough.

The venue is perfect for a one stop spot to get married at and to have the reception. The waterfalls, covered pavilion, outside bar, gazebo and deck offer so many opportunities for pictures, places to get married, and just to sit and relax. The inclusion of venue, tables, chairs, linen, liquor, food, and cake in the price is an exceptional deal. It made the planning for the wedding that much easier not having to worry about so many of those details. We booked with Cathy 2 years before our wedding and what a great decision that was! Not only is the venue a dream but Cathy was so helpful from the day we met her. Above and beyond
Cathi and her team did a wonderful job. Cathi Was very attentive to the needs of The bride and groom. She was even kind enough to bring out the Hors d’oeuvres for the bridal party while out doing pictures, knowing that they were probably hungry. The food was delicious. The venue was beautifully done. Cathi Was also very understanding when I needed to change the count and she had to redo the Bill three times for me. The food was delicious, the venue absolutely gorgeous, and the services were excellent! We even had a few gluten and dairy allergies to work around, too. The owner and staff were so courteous. My husband and I eloped previously but decided to have a party in PA with family and friends. He had been to Carmen's before and minutes after visiting, it was so clear why he suggested it! I had an experience in mind that I wanted for us and our guests - to feel comfortable, cozy, and enjoy a beautiful outdoor space. I wanted something that didn't require decorating because it was beautiful just as it was. Carmen's was IT! There were so many lovely areas for photos, including a couple water features. We set up our evening so we were inside only for dinner and even inside, it was charming. While we did do small centerpieces and a welcome table set up, it was pretty inside and would have been nice as is. We celebrated on a cool-ish fall evening and for those not staying warm on the dance floor (under the party pavilion), there were firepits, a fireplace, and heated towers around. We had about 80ish people and there was plenty of room with existing cozy spots to sit or at tables added around the dance floor.
Hosting a big party is a lot of work! Cathy was in communication with me whenever I needed and went out of her way on multiple occasions to ensure things were going to be set up how I wanted. She genuinely cared about making sure we had the best celebration. And we did! We and our guests had so much fun.Carmen's Country Inn & Gardens's reply:

My daughter's wedding was this past weekend and we couldn't be any happier! The gardens were beautiful and the set up was perfect for our guests for cocktail hour. Guests loved the firepit areas. Sherri Sent on 09/29/2024A Dream Come True Because of You! ⭐️❤️
When Shawn & I (we) decided to get married and we first walked in to tour the venue, we had a feeling and knew that we were making the right choice. The venue and vibe was different from the moment we set foot on the property. Cathy greeted us professionally, with kindness and respect.
The outdoors garden area is a forest secret garden vibe with 2 waterfalls with the inside area contrasting it with an art deco Great Gatsby and classic old Hollywood Glamour vibe that we loved at first site! (Take a look at the ornate ceiling tiles!)
What I will first tell you is the pictures that first pop up on Google are outdated, so please do your research! It was an older venue; however, COVID-19 shutdowns allowed for the venue to add new additions and upgrades. Look for the recent pictures and videos! It's a hidden gem!
The outside gardens are lovely with waterfalls and numerous areas for an outside ceremony. We chose to have our ceremony and seating set under the pavillion which is concrete and flat. Our wedding was July 6 and with the weather forecast changing throughout the week, high temperatures, elderly, and some disabled guests, we took everyone's safety into consideration to provide cover (and shade) because we wanted an outside ceremony. We had a family friend that couldn't get out of their vehicle due to their health conditions and were able to be witness the ceremony from the handicapped parking nearby. The pavillion has a waterfall in the center of it that allowed for a perfect backdrop! Their is also a beautiful walking path from the center of the property down to the pavillion that gave the perfect grand entrance.
There is also a beautiful pond on the property where we did our "first look" prior to our ceremony. We had many of our pictures done prior to the ceremony so we could spend more time with our guests. The wedding day went by way too fast (probably because we were enjoying the day so much!) So use your time wisely...
For our outdoor cocktail hour, there were areas for seating with tables, a some bar tables, a patio off the bar/pavillion area and others just sat in the chairs from the ceremony to mingle and snack. (The coconut shrimp is fantastic by the way!) For one of our 2 signature drinks, we had the option of Arnold Palmer iced tea that could be spiked. It gave another option to family members that don't drink alcohol and didn't put them into an awkward situation. When we stood infront of the waterfall after we came back from wedding party pictures and were chatting with some of our guests, it turned into an impromptu receiving line where we unexpectedly got many pictures with our guests!
For the inside, don't have the layout fool you. It is a perfect layout! We had tables surrounding 3 sides of what you would think would be the main dance floor (but wasn't used that way). The inside ceiling is always drapped and has uplightong installed in the ceilings so that is one less thing you have to worry about! We had a sweetheart table for us at the top of the dance floor and had an intimate first dance while "dancing on the clouds" and some additional uplighting from pur DJ, had our matron of honor and best man give their speeches and did our cake cutting there.
We then moved the dancing after dinner and dessert to the other dance floor by having the father-of-the-bride/bride dance along with other dances on the other dance floor by the bar. It was my parents' 40th wedding anniversary on June 23rd and my cousins 50th anniversary on the date of the actual wedding so we extended and dance to them too. It allowed a seamless transition for others to make their way to the other dance floor. We also had 2 extra tables and the photobooth set up near the bar and damce floor to make guests want to be in that area. Also, there is an outdoor patio right outside the dance floor so guests outside getting some fresh air could still feel like they were part of the action. The initial seating for dinner also allowed a more quiet area for guests who wanted to watch but have some space to have that option too.
Our bar package also had frozen drinks (pina coladas) and top shelf liquor which helped cooling off in the 90°F heat.
We ended the night with a private and intimate couple dance while our guests were assembled outside by the fountain and our marquis leaders for a sparkler send off and photo and video opportunity outside the building.
Carmen's Country Inn & Gardens staff treated us like family.
Cathy paid attention to all details and made sure our needs were met.
She was thorough with timelines and reminders which I appreciated. With so many things going on planning a wedding, careers changes and the nonprofits we volunteer with, she ensured that we were on time and everything was remembered.
I received not only a venue and catering package that included a cake, but also a wedding coordinator on top of it!
Also, with Carmen's having its own bakery and catering, I was able to address concerns ahead of time for guests with food allergies. This included gluten (Celiac's), vegetarians, peanut allergies, tree nut allergies, soy allergies and msg intolerances. I made sure Cathy had the seating chart ahead of time so she knew where special meals needed to go. I also had a cookie table instead of cookie trays for each table so I could have allergy-friendly cookies separated and marked so all could enjoy. All of my desserts came from Carmen's and were part of my package.
Because of all the adrenaline from the wedding day, not being hungry during the event and being interrupted by guests during dinner, Cathy ensures that there are meals packed for the Bride and Groom to enjoy after the wedding which we truly appreciated!
Also, you are the only event for the day. You have the gardens, the indoor building, etc. You are not sharing the venue with anyone else.
One last thing: brides and grooms, remember to thank your vendors and take care of them. When we gave our speech, we made sure to thank them and so many of our vendors gave us hugs and had tears in their eyes because many times it is a thankless job for what they do. They do so much for you to make your day perfect. Include them in your meal count and make sure you have a table dedicated to them so they can have something to eat when there is downtime. Your photographer(s), videographer(s), DJ, photobooth attendant, hair and make up artist, etc need fuel to operate too!
What I love most of all is the connection made with the DeLese/Kutchi family and workers from having our wedding at Carmen's Country Inn and Gardens.
I was recently at the Bloomsburg Fair and Melanie, one of our fabulous bartenders, made it a point to stop and talk to us with her husband.
Also, right before our honeymoon, our fridge failed and we lost our anniversary tier. Cathy replaced it for us which she did not have to do.
We made lifelong connections with the family and employees at the venue. We are so grateful we made the choice of picking this venue!

The perfect wedding venue
My husband and I first went to Carmen's Country Inn and Gardens 2 years ago after getting engaged - it was the first venue we looked at and immediately fell in love. We didn't view any other venues because we knew it would be a waste of time - this place is perfect. The grounds are stunning and the inside of the venue is so lovely.
What made Carmens's stand out compared to other venues? The beautiful gardens - the groundskeeper does such a fantastic job. The flowers and plants were so beautiful - everything I dreamed of for a wedding location!
What was our biggest worry about the wedding day that Carmen's helped alleviate? Just making sure everything went well. Cathy ensured that our day was fantastic and alleviated the stress of watching the time and having to coordinate everything. I didn't look at a clock even once during the day and everything ran so smoothly.
A moment that we especially enjoyed while working with Carmen's: the entire was day was so perfect that I can't pull one specific moment that stood out more, so I'm going to bring it back to when we went to Carmen's bakery/deli to taste test food and pick our menu. This was such an emotional moment to try everything and finalize choices, and Cathy was there to walk us through everything and help us pick and personalize the menu. And the food was incredible. It was so hard to narrow everything down!
With this venue they offer so many services in one package - all we needed was to hire a DJ and a photographer. They cater their own food (they own a lovely deli/bakery in hazleton), made our wedding cake (which was absolutely amazing), and offered bar service. Everything is already so beautiful that we really only needed to have centerpieces and table numbers, no other decor needed.
Cathy was INCREDIBLE. I cannot say enough fantastic things about her. She is so kind, detail oriented, organized, flexible, and she clearly takes a lot of pride in her job. She was in constant communication with me during the planning process and answered all my questions thoroughly and promptly. During the rehearsal she took care to ensure we were all prepared and ready for the ceremony. When I made a mistake and had mixed up seating arrangements she was so kind and just immediately went into "no problem at all - let's fix it!" mode. During the day of the wedding she took time to fix the little details that we had missed (like find and set up our champagne glasses and turn on the lanterns for our center pieces).
The staff, the bartender, and the servers at the venue were so kind and attentive to us and all of our guests as well!
I can honestly say that our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I am so grateful to Cathy and all her staff for making it so.Carmen's Country Inn & Gardens's reply:

The wedding venue was absolutely beautiful, lush gardens. Waterfalls and features , beautiful spots to hold outdoor weddings as well as indoor events
Excellent food with a courteous staff. From the cocktail hour to the send off, Kathy has everything under control. The place is very private. No worries about the public venturing in. The photos come out great with all the different spots designed around the gardens. Plenty of space for guests to wander around and enjoy the day. A large dance floor and an adjacent outdoor deck, a covered porch for relaxing , places to sit and watch everyone dancing. Tranquil Gardens, Great Staff
When we started visiting venues, we were shocked by the a la carte pricing and caterer restrictions. Between paying per ceremony chair, linen, etc and having to use an "approved caterer" and needing to get insurance, we weren't sure if a traditional wedding venue would work for us. In fact, we almost didn't go to our visit at Carmen's after several prior visits to other locations. However, we are so happy that we did!! Carmen's takes care of everything, included in the pricing, from food to linens to the cake.
We used Carmen's new outdoor grotto for our ceremony and Cathy opened the outdoor bar, which was favored by our guests. The gardens are beautiful for pictures. Make sure to visit the venue in the summer to see the true beauty with all the flowers and greenery full bloom.
Carmen's food is delicious. We recommend their homemade manicotti as a plated app! Kathy accommodated a couple of our guests who had special dietary restrictions. We also had boxes of Carmen's pizza for a late night snack (if you know, you know).
The venue has done a nice job updating the outside area. There is a deck attached to the dance floor, which many of our guests enjoyed after dinner. We would love to see the venue modernize the bridal room and a few little touches inside.
Overall, you can't beat the value and we are so happy that we tied the knot at Carmen's!

Carmen’s was actually the first and only venue we looked at. We were immediately in love with it and everything they had to offer. The food was amazing and we got a lot of compliments on it! The cake was even better, my husband was most excited to eat the cake! We are a very relaxed couple so we didn’t have many worries but we were nervous about how everyone would walk for the ceremony as well as how the ceremony should flow. Cathy immediately helped create a game plan and figure out who goes first, last, etc. She also fluffed my dress for me before I walked down the aisle which was super thoughtful. The bar and wait staff were very nice and diligent of the guests needs. Cathy was amazing during the planning process, she responded quickly to my emails and answered all my questions! We were so relaxed during the planning process and on our wedding day because of Cathy’s support. I loved that she cared and was there to see our vision and experience it with us! We absolutely loved Carmen’s County Inn and Gardens for our wedding ceremony and reception. From start to finish Cathy was there to help and make our wedding one we dreamed about. The grounds were beautiful for the perfect ceremony and reception. The hall was nice to accommodate those who loved to dance or just wanted to catch up. We had the chicken cordon bleu bites and mini potato pancakes for cocktail hour. We had the chicken franchise and the beef in burgundy sauce for our meals. Everyone enjoyed the food and it had a lot of flavor. Our wedding cake was delicious and everyone loved it. We definitely will be recommending Carmen’s to everyone. This venue is absolutely gorgeous, and they're always upgrading and adding new features. The gardens and fountains are impeccably maintained, and I especially love the gazebo and the arbor....such a beautiful, romantic setting.
Cathy was wonderful to work with from start to finish. We were on a tight budget and initially didn't think we'd be able to afford this venue. However, Cathy personalized a menu for us that fit our budget, without skimping on quality or quantity. She even offered us a mouthwatering special menu item which she added on to our entree selections at a very reasonable price. All the guests agreed that the special menu item was a hit!! The food was delicious, the service was perfect. The ambiance was soft and romantic.
Cathy walked us through everything, which was great because we were clueless. She was extremely patient and thorough, making sure we covered every detail. She bent over backwards to make sure our day went exactly as we wanted it to. Her attention to detail is meticulous.
What was perhaps most impressive to me was that she experienced a great personal loss less than a month before our wedding date, but she never missed a beat. If it wasn't for the fact that the venue is local to us, we would never even have known this had happened because she maintained such a level of professionalism throughout, never letting on what was happening behind the scenes.

I just had my wedding at Carmen’s Country Inn and Gardens, I love their venue, it’s so green and flowery and beautiful. They’ve done a lot of work on the hall and it blew my guests away. I wanted a place that was comfortable and had all the amenities to throw a big party but also rustic, and woodsy similar to where I grew up in Poconos and where my husband and I met in Penn State and Carmen’s was the perfect spot to fill all of that criteria. We were married under the gazebo with their waterfall in the back of us and it was perfect. We were able to have bar tenders at the bar to the side to serve guests as they arrived, so really the party began even before the ceremony started, this was a unique benefit of the venue and several people complimented on how much fun they had from start to finish. Every area of the place got full use from our guests, including the cigar deck, the two dance floors and the indoor and outdoor bar.
I also really liked that we had the whole venue to ourselves and there is ample parking and it’s conveniently located close to hotels in the area. Our photos came out amazing with all of the greenery there and we were able to get some shots of golden hour amongst the trees on the property.
Several people complimented us on the food, we had some dietary restrictions from allergies, religious reasons, etc.. and we ended up having five entrée choices. All of the food was so fresh and perfectly seasoned. We also opted to have the chocolate fountain and Venetian table of pastries in addition to the cake and everyone loved the assortment especially the little ones. It was so sweet, my little cousin Teddy exclaimed “that cake is so beautiful!” when it came time for us to cut the cake so hopefully that gives some perspective on the decorating skill there.
I also appreciated that several things came standard at Carmen’s (chivari chairs, linens / tablecloths, catering) where other venues you had to coordinate all of that separately.
Aside from the great food, the beauty and all of the amenities of the location, the main reason I went with Carmen’s was the coordinator there, Cathy. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything on our special day. Her quick responses and attention to detail were such a big help in what is already a stressful process that is planning a wedding, especially considering the challenges that COVID presented which forced us to re-schedule our date so ultimately I was in contact with Cathy over 2 years to make the wedding I wanted a reality. Cathy really worked with us and I’ll always be grateful for that. That level of service stood out the most in our wedding venue search and I’m so happy we make the choice we did.
One last point I’d like to highlight to close is an experience my stepmom made me aware of where she had requested Barefoot wine for the wine at the cocktail hour and reception and it wasn’t at the bar initially. The bartender actually went out to a liquor store close by to ensure we had what was requested. So I hope that gives helpful context on the experience you’ll have if you choose Carmen’s. It’s a local family run business and venue and we really appreciated the experience of working with them which I don’t think would have been possible if we had gone with a hotel venue or big hall where multiple events are going on at the same time.Carmen's Country Inn & Gardens's reply:

Carmen's country inn and gardens
The venue itself is stunning. It sits back off main roads surrounded by the outdoors. At Carmen's, the gardens outside were full of flowers and fountains. There was plenty of space and a multitude of benches for seating throughout the gardens. A large deck off of the main entrance overlooks the outside area from above. Inside the venue was up to date and monderized with decor and up-lighting. The main dining area was spacious. There is a small dance floor in front of the sweetheart table for the Mr and Mrs to share their first dance on in front of loved ones. This made that moment intimate and extra special. Carmen's provides a large dance floor along with a full service bar! It is also handicap accessible, including a bathroom, as this was extremely important for a few family members of mine.
The food was excellent! Carmen's offered a wide selection of home made appetizers and entrees to choose from. Also, the portions were very filling! Carmen's provided our cake included in our wedding package and let's just say I had seconds, it was that good!
Carmen's staff and services provided during the entire wedding were nothing short of amazing! Kindness and professionalism describe the staff at Carmen's. Everything was scheduled down to the minute and Carmen's did a fabulous job at keeping the guests happy!
Carmen's stood out compared to other venues because of their secluded location, very reasonable pricing, and personable wedding coordinator, Cathy. As you know, not everything goes as planned on your wedding day. While placing the mothers corsages, both broke off the wrist bands. I panicked. Cathy remained calm, called the florist we used down the road, and a worker came and fixed both corsages in under 15 minutes! Also, my handicap grandfather's transportation was running late. Once again, I was panicking. Cathy once again remained calm, adjusted the entire wedding schedule, and we were able to wait those few extra minutes for my grandfather without any issues! I will be forever grateful for that.
Carmen's country inn and gardens is THE venue to have your wedding at! I highly recommend as you will not be disappointed!

A typed review does not do enough justice for Carmen's. Beyond the fact the the environment and surroundings are beautiful and well maintained and updated, the service was grand. There are multiple outdoor options and areas to choose of where you may "tie the knot" on top of back up indoor options, or wonderful indoor options if that is what you prefer. The venue has a wonderful bar inside, with a spacious bridal suite, an amazing dance floor that leads out onto a patio. The dinning area is also spacious yet cozy to provide a wonderful time with your guests. Beyond appearance , absolutely fantastic service from all of the staff. Cathy, the venue coordinator made everything very simple for me, from selection to décor and more. On the wedding day I had no worries, she worked with all of our vendors , as well as family and more to ensure that the day remained smooth and went according to plan. Let's not forget about he menus options and how delicious our meals were. Our guest surely left with smiles on their faces and full stomachs. If the beauty of the venue doesn’t knock your socks off, the service will! The waitstaff & bartenders the night of the event were spectacular. Cathy was extremely helpful start to finish. She answered every question I had & really went above & beyond to make our vision come to life.
I was so worried about pulling everything together, but Cathy made sure we checked all the boxes from décor to meals to the rehearsal. You can tell she is very experienced & knows just what to do.
Back to the beauty of this venue. We got married in October, & the surroundings are just beautiful. There are so many areas to get gorgeous shots of your special day! There are fountains & waterfalls & an open field with a beautiful backdrop of the trees. Inside is just as beautiful. The ceiling in the entryway is just beautiful. There is plenty of space to spread out your tables, 2 dance floors & a beautiful stone bar.
The venue includes uplighting (can change to match your color scheme), & meals & cake are included in the price! This really stood out to us in our searches, as we didn’t have to hire a caterer &/or bakery. We also took part in a WeddingWire promo. with this venue, & got a free dessert table full of cookies, brownies & pastries! Everyone was pleased with the food & desserts all around!
I really could go on & on. We were so thrilled with how our wedding turned out, & a lot of it had to do with the ease of working with Cathy & her wonderful team.

We were very nervous, like I'm sure everyone is, about choosing a venue for our wedding. From the very start we felt like we were being treated as though it was the venue's own family having their wedding day. Kathy was amazing always answering our questions in a timely manner. I would expect days for answers but they came in hours if not minutes. The food was amazing not what you would expect for a wedding venue. The staff the day of the wedding was also amazing and very attentive. Kathy made us feel like it was her own daughter or son that was getting married. Everybody that came commented on how good the food and service was and how beautiful the venue was. There were some guests planning weddings and are going to look into Carmen's as well they liked it that much. Before we got married my wife and both agreed there couldn't be a better place to get married than Carmen's in the valley. I had grown up in Drums and knew it was a beautiful area first hand, but we were blown away by the beauty of everything Cathy and her staff have done to make this the perfect venue for a gorgeous country wedding.
We had a lot of setbacks the year we were supposed to get married due to the pandemic, but Cathy worked with us to ensure the delay was handled smoothly and displayed professionalism and grace every step of the way.
When our big day finally arrived my wife had several fitting issues with her dress that left her rattled and upset, and Cathy went above and beyond to calm her down and assist her in getting together, and she was overwhelmed and eternally grateful for that help!
We enjoyed everything about our special day, from the excellent food and service to the friendly staff, all the assistance and guidance we received and the warm, welcoming feeling you get when you're there. Amazing venue, great food and huge portions
Cathy and her team were amazing. We had our original wedding planned for 8.29.2020 but due to Covid we had to postpone. Cathy was so gracious to offer the venue for our ceremony in 2020 and worked with us to pick the perfect date for this year. This year they built this beautiful pavilion in front of their second waterfall which we chose for the ceremony. From rehearsal to day of, Cathy was attentive and ensured everything went off without a hitch. Our guests were so impressed and complimentary of the venue itself, the staff and food. The portions were very large and a lot of our guests took Togo boxes home because we had so much food. I truly cannot thank Cathy and her team enough for the most perfect day. First off, Cathy is AMAZING! This year has been so crazy with rescheduling weddings and I chose to reschedule my September wedding due to COVID. Cathy emailed me back every time the same day answering all of my million questions and kept me in the loop about everything. She truly wants your wedding to be perfect and does everything she can to help your vision come to life. Cathy helps set up, take down, and acts as a wedding coordinator making everything run smoothly!
This venue is a hidden gem that is nothing like any other venue around. It is quietly tucked away on 14 acres of BEAUTIFUL gardens and waterfalls. My guests seriously were swept away and it felt like we were in a magical fairy forrest! I can't rave enough about how perfect my wedding was. We got married in front of an amazing waterfall while our band played above the waterfall under a covered walkway. Our band also played on the outside deck for the cocktail hour, which everyone loved while the hors d'oeuvres were served in the garden area. Our band then played inside for the reception, they had plenty of room to set up and get the party started!
The food was also amazing. Cathy owns a bakery and made us the best cake ever! The chicken cordon bleu bites and bacon wrapped scallops were BOMB for appetizers and we had Chicken Francese and Steak Tips and Mushrooms in a burgundy wine sauce as our choices for plated dinner. My guests couldn't say enough good things about the food!
Everything was perfect and I cannot wait for our pictures and video! I didn't even need a "photo booth" or back drop for guests to take pictures because there are SO MANY cool places to take pictures that are already there. Even the trees and waterfalls light up at night! I loved my wedding so much!Carmen's Country Inn & Gardens's reply:

Awesome Venue!
We just had our wedding at Carmen’s Country Inn & Gardens 3 weekends ago and could not have had a better experience. Owner Cathy was kind and courteous from the start and helped with so much, especially with all the crazy COVID things going on. She answered every single question we had with assurance and in a timely manner. She met with us on multiple occasions & called on the phone to go over any concerns we had in a timely manner. It was very generous of them to allow us to have our small wedding ceremony in the gardens a year prior during the middle of the COVID pandemic. Following COVID protocols of course. The reception this year exactly one year later was absolutely fantastic.
The staff members were super friendly and worked well together, as well as with our DJ and photographer. All of the food, from appetizers to our entree was excellent and our guests loved it.
So many of our guests have told us that our wedding was one of the best weddings they have ever been to and we couldn't have pulled it all off without the help of Carmen's staff and Cathy. I could never thank you enough for making our day awesome! We can’t say enough about Carmen’s hosting our wedding during this pandemic. We had the wedding we hoped for and it was beautiful!
We originally had our wedding scheduled at another venue who canceled on us three months before the event.
I called Cathy at Carmen’s, and she was happy to meet with me that same day. I can’t thank her enough for putting my mind at ease that we would have our Halloween wedding.
Cathy kept in touch with us frequently and made sure we had the wedding we wanted.
The venue is beautiful and the food was amazing!

Me and my wife searched for a good venue for our wedding throughout Jersey, PA, and Delaware. A friend of ours mentioned Carmen's Country Inn so we look it up and it looked promising. So we came out to view the location and it was beautiful and Cathy was such a great host. The Cost, Location and Devotion of the staff on our wedding day deserved a standing ovation. The level of professionalism was very impressive, and not to sound arrogant but coming from it means a lot. I was a Live Director of big events for a couple years, and excellence was my standard. Cathy and her staff served us in excellence. When things didn't go as planned they accommodated and if there was a problem Cathy did her best to find a solution. We absolutely loved our wedding day, and Carmen's Inn and Garden played a huge part in making it special. Thank you so much for a day me and my wife will never forget. We knew as soon as we approached the entrance to Carmen’s Country Inn & Gardens that it’s was going to be something spectacular. The pins, grassy meadows, the various breathtaking gardens, waterfalls, gazebo, well equipped outdoor deck. The elegant & beautifully furnished/decorated large reception space were all impressive. Plenty of parking. I loved that our party would be the only one held there & we’d have the entire place to ourselves. We already knew prices were very affordable for a quality catered experience offering us many flexible options & choices in food & beverage. Cathy the proprietor was so responsive from our first email to every contact throughout. She’s a lovely person, has a calm & reassuring manner & just has such a nice vibe. Cathy contacted me as soon as our county started having restrictions due to Covid & we made adjustments. Cathy graciously allowed us to still have our ceremony at the Country Inn. We gathered in small numbers to follow local, state & federal guidelines. Cathy allowed us to postpone our reception for a year at the same price. She was helpful & attentive to our needs. John & I wanted an experience where everything was taken care of so that we could enjoy it. We had not one worry because we knew Cathy would take care of everything. She offered helpful referrals to other vendors. That’s how John & I met Grace who was so lovely & created a beautiful ceremony which she officiated for us. Cathy even gave us a wedding cake as our plans were to celebrate at home since we postponed our reception. It was DELICIOUS. We loved it there. Our outdoor wedding was such a beautiful experience. The grounds are gorgeous. I so look forward to going back & celebrating. I know Cathy will take care of every detail next year as well!Carmen's Country Inn & Gardens's reply:

Beautiful and Elegant
Carmen’s was absolutely perfect for our wedding. The grounds are stunning and the indoor reception area is elegant and simple. Cathy was unbelievably easy to work with and the convenience of having everything (catering, ceremony, reception, cake, linens, etc) handled by the same person made the planning process so much easier and less stressful. Our food was delicious and we received multiple compliments on our cake (both appearance and taste)! Not only was everything delicious, Cathy and her staff also set all of our decor up with minimal direction from us—we dropped everything off on Friday, and arrived Sunday to a stunning wedding. -

Carmen's was the ideal place for our wedding. The venue is beautiful and guests kept asking us how we found it. I was able to stay within our budget and I could spend time working on details of the wedding instead of big things such as the vibe, decorations, picture-perfect scenery, and cake because Carmen's already had these checked off. Cathy was also a wonderful person to work with - her professionalism made me feel at ease and she was always patient and clear. I would definitely recommend Carmen's especially if you love the outdoors because the gardens are perfect. -

We are living in Philadelphia and looked far and wide for the optimal wedding venue for us. We are so pleased that we chose Carmen's and everything came together so nicely, great package deal which fit our budget nicely!
We did not have a formal wedding planner, and Cathy with Carmen's offered a great amount of support. Cathy is professional and makes herself very available; we met with her several times and exchanged many emails/texts. She is very attentive to the small details- like making sure the cake top was packed up and serving us a plate of appetizers with our meals so we didn't miss eating them. The package included bar, apps, meals, cake, service, linens, access for rehearsal the night prior- very helpful. They have two different dance floors to choose from, and we did most of the dancing on the side floor which opens onto an outdoor portch which was perfect for guests hanging outside in a July night.
Their bakery is amazing. The wedding cake (included with the package as a gift!) is delicious. We loved their chocolate chip-coconut-macadamia cookies so much that we ordered them as favors for people. The food choices had a homestyle feed, we did eggplant rollatini (delicious) and steak tips in mushroom sauce (slightly different than in food trial, meat pieces cut up small and sauce not as thick).
The grounds are very beautiful and very well groomed for the wedding, with a variety of backdrops for photos. Of course rain is a gamble, there is a designated indoor fireplace in an area with lower popcorn ceiling, so we were happy for a sunny day and stunning outdoor scenery.

Picturesque outdoor ceremony & great food
After looking at many venues, we choose Carmen's for a picturesque outdoor ceremony. Cathy was fantastic to work with & a great help with many things. They were very accomendating to our dj, photo booth, photographer, tent rental & bridal party setting up decorations. We liked that we were the only wedding & had the whole place to ourselves. The gardens provided many breathtaking photo opportunities. The guests all commented on how good the food was. If there was anything I could change, it would be to allow more time for eating dinner. We'd recommend Carmen's to anyone looking for an enjoyable outdoor setting. -

Carmen’s Country Inn was the best choice that I made for my wedding. From the beginning, the communication with Cathy was seamless. As a bride and groom, we were planning our wedding on our own from across the country; and Cathy was an angel throughout the entire process. Every portion of food from appetizers, entres, sides, to deserts was spectacular. Guests were talking about the food for days (my friends are still drooling over the marshmallow icing marble wedding cake). The venue is breathtaking. I love being able to walk the beautiful gardens; and they were the perfect setting for photos. The indoor area is already so elegant that the decorations really only add to the beauty that already exists. The indoor venue also had the advantage of two dance floors (one in the dining area and one in its own separate area), a bar, and a cigar deck connected to the dance floor that allowed the guests easy access to leisurely relax outside. The most refreshing detail was the service. All of the waitstaff, bartenders, and Cathy made the experience wonderful from start to finish. The food was served promptly, we were never rushed or made to feel stressed, and the waiters even came outside with the appetizers to ensure that the bridal party received their hors d'oeuvres while taking photos. Last but certainly not least, out of all the venues that we researched Carmen’s had the entire package and was the most affordable. Especially planning my wedding from out of state, I really appreciated having the catering, the decorating, the linens, the cake all handled in one location. Carmen’s Country Inn and Gardens made my wedding a true dream come true.

Ashley Sent on 09/13/2018I got married on August 4, 2018. From the start Cathy was a wonderful help. She worked around my budget. I was able to get surf and turf and open bar that everyone loved. She helped me come up with a signature cocktail that matched my colors. We had fresh strawberry mojiots as our “signature drink”. My colors were pink and green. The steak was so delicious you could cut it with a butter knife. The cake was also included. I requested something special, a funfetti cake! It was gorgeous and delicious. Cathy and her staff were nothing short of amazing! They made me feel like a princess. The hall and the grounds were amazing! The dance floor was remodeled and there was new carpeting. I couldn’t have asked for a better day! I highly recommend Carmen’s and Cathy. You won’t be disappointed. Just disappointed about how fast your wedding day will go.

Chelsea Sent on 08/14/2018My husband & I got to share the most perfect day with our guests thanks to Carmen's! As far as weather goes, there was a very good chance of it raining during the ceremony. Carmen's set up chairs inside & outside so that we could make the decision as to where we would be saving our vows when my bridal party & I arrived. Luckily, it turned out to be beautiful weather, but I thought it was so awesome that they went above & beyond for us! The food was absolutely delicious, we had so many compliments from guests on it. They allowed us to bring everything we wanted for the big day up before our rehearsal dinner, & just asked for instructions & they took care of setting up for us! Everything looked so beautiful in the gardens, & inside for the reception! Cathy responded so quickly to emails I would send her regarding our wedding, & I appreciated that so much! Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere reasonably priced, green, beautiful, & just fantastic all together!!!

Our guests were raving about how servers were waiting with appetizers as soon as they came off the receiving line. Our guests were amazed on how perfectly the surf & turf was cooked in such a large quantity. Carmen’s took care of placing all of our wedding decor with care. The staff was so attentive. One of our guests had an issue with her foot & before she sat down someone was coming with ice! The service & quality was priceless. Another guest commented that he has two daughters and they will be getting married there. The grounds were beautifully decorated providing a beatfufil atmosphere for the ceremony. Our daughter’s recent wedding at Carmen’s Country Inn and Gardens in Drums, PA was SPECTACULAR due to the amazing personal service of Cathy, venue manager and wedding planner! From the first time we met to see the venue, through meal and cake testing, and finally the wedding rehearsal and the wedding day, Cathy helped in every way. She quickly responded to all of our emails throughout the process and assisted us in planning a beautiful fall outdoor wedding under a rustic natural canopy for over 80 guests. On the wedding rehearsal day we just dropped off all of our table centerpieces, our decorations, and our seating place cards. When we walked into the reception venue on the day of wedding, it had been magically transformed into a festive autumn atmosphere. Cathy had overseen everything down to the smallest detail, including a signature fall Caramel Apple Martini drink. The bartender and the serving staff were superb and the food -- cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres, the wonderful dinner entrees, and the wedding cake/cupcakes -- were all delicious! As our daughter’s nuptials was a bit of a destination wedding for us, it was so convenient to have a variety of wedding ceremony sites available on the same grounds as the reception (and great for the wedding pictures!), as well as being able to contract for the reception meal, the bar services and wedding cake all together in a single, affordable package. As a military family, we greatly appreciated Cathy’s efficiency and passion for setting up the dream wedding that my daughter and her husband had envisioned. She did such a great job of coordinating the DJ, the photographer and the wedding party; I was able to relax and enjoy the wedding! Samantha Sent on 11/03/2017My husband and I could not have asked for a better wedding experience. We fell in love with the grounds the moment we set foot on the property. That first impression was nothing compared to the actual beauty of our wedding day. The grounds were perfectly taken care of. The reception hall was beautiful with the rustic fireplace and bar, the fantastic mood lighting that fit our color scheme, and the great TWO dance floors. Every guest we have spoken to has told us how the venue perfectly captured the rustic beauty of the Poconos. The staff was also fantastic from start to finish. Throughout the entire planning process Cathy was friendly, accommodating and easy to work with. She quickly responded to any emails or questions we may have had. She made the tasting fun and enjoyable. And in the days leading up to the wedding she was extremely flexible and helpful. On the day of the wedding she made sure everything went smoothly. She helped coordinate with the photographers, djs, and officiant. The staff was also phenomenal. They set up the venue so that it was everything I had seen in my head and more. The guest tables, cake tables, and every other decoration was exactly how I envisioned it, as though they read my mind. The staff was quick, efficient and friendly. The food was amazing and the wedding cake provided by Carmen’s was absolutely beautiful and tasty. Overall our wedding was absolutely perfect and so much of that is because of Cathy and her team at Carmen’s Country Inn and Gardens.
