  Professional, responsive, and easy to work with

  We recently had the pleasure of working with Irina and Carlsbad Photo for our wedding photography, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Irina was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. She took the time to understand our vision for the day and helped us create a timeline that would ensure we captured all the important moments.
  
  On the day of the wedding, Irina arrived early and was ready to go. She worked quickly and efficiently to capture all the details, from the getting ready process to the ceremony and reception. She even managed to get some great shots of our first dance and all the dancing that followed, which we absolutely love.
  
  When we received our photos back, we were blown away. They are absolutely stunning and perfectly capture the joy and love of our special day. We especially love the candid shots that capture all the emotions of the day.
  
  We would highly recommend Irina and Carlsbad Photo to anyone looking for a talented and professional wedding photographer. She is truly amazing at what she does, and we are so grateful that she was a part of our special day.

  5 stars across the board. I am so happy I chose Carlsbad Photo to capture my wedding day. The photos & video came out perfect!. Irina did a great job by ensuring that all the special moments were captured. Her customer service is top-notch and I highly recommend this service for a day that can be overwhelming. From the moment my husband and I met with Irina prior to our wedding day to go over the timeline, I felt comfortable that she was going to do a great job and she did.   She made our wedding day so special

  Me and my husband met Irina at an Open house at The Point. We didn’t end up booking that venue but Irina was the biggest blessing we could’ve asked for. From the beginning she worked with us through our crazy schedules and was so kind. We loved her so much we booked her for both our engagement shoot and elopement. Her work is incredible, she’s like a fly on the wall. Booking with Irina you’re guaranteed beautiful photos, and timeless moments. I will be recommending her to all my family/friends!

  Absolutely incredible!!

  Irina from Carlsbad Photo was incredible on our big day! Not only that, but the whole process of working with her was just easy, which is so appreciated with all the other stresses involved in wedding planning. She came early, she stayed late, she did gorgeous sunset photos, and then she even brought lights to do night time photos too! She was so fast and efficient it was the best experience I could have asked for. She got really pretty poses and great angles too! I’m so glad I found her!! Thank you Irina!

  So nice to work with!

  We had such a great experience with Irina! She listened to us and made us feel very comfortable. She had great ideas for unique poses and captured all of the important moments. Photos ended up coming out better than we could have hoped for!

  Irina is the best!

For example our pre event conversation was thorough and helpful. Irina haloed capture our special day perfectly. I looked over the Carlsbad photography Instagram and loved the story she tells through her lens. We chose the smallest package because we had a small short wedding. Irina does it all! I’ve talked to her about weddings that last ALL WEEKEND. She is so cool.

  Amazing vendor who was able to do my wedding with only 5 days notice!

  This review has been long overdue. My wife and I got married last October. Originally we had discussed not having a photographer as it was a small elopement ceremony on the beach. However, as the weeks, then days drew nearer, I felt in my heart that I should try to capture the moment and get a photographer. So with less than a week to go before the big day, I reached out to several wedding photographers, each saying they were already booked. Then I came across Carlsbad Photo and dreading another person telling me they were booked. To my delightful surprise, Irina answered right away and was able to take on my event with such little lead time. I have to thank her so much for being there. Our small wedding (about 20 people) was captured beautifully and she provided us with so much advice for poses that we let her have full control of picture taking. Everytime I see our wedding album I am blown away by the quality of the pictures that captured every moment. I cannot thank Irina enough. Also, my apologies for the long over due review!
  
  We would strongly recommend Irina to everyone and anyone. She captured all our moments and honestly felt like someone in our friend group throughout the ceremony. We had a couple of uncooperative toddlers (our daughter included) but Irina took them in her stride. We can't say enough good things about her. We will be using her for all future photoshoots in the future.

  Excellent experience

  I've never been so excited to review somebody in my entire life!!! We were so lucky to have Irina as our photographer. I cannot say enough how important it is that your photographer on your wedding day is just as wonderful as a person as she is a professional at what she does. A good photographer makes you feel comfortable and effortless behind the camera. Posing parents, siblings, wedding parties, flower girls, ring bearers, and the bride and groom coming together perfectly in a crazy short amount of time? You feel like it’s IMPOSSIBLE. It’s not! I’ve heard that weddings are always not on time. The truth is it’s more worth. The rings may be forgotten, the very important guest is being extremely late, and a lot of other reasons. Irina was super patient, she captured each and every photo I wanted without me even having to make sure that she did it. Her creativity, eye for perfection, and professionalism are unbelievable. The wedding day does by so fast, and it's important to have all the moments captured. My now husband and I could not have chosen a better photographer. Everyone at the wedding was talking about how great our photographer was. Irina introduced herself to every guest and family member at the wedding and made sure she got every guests’ picture which we are so grateful! We had so many out of state guests and wanted to remember every moment with them on our best day. If you are looking for pricing that makes sense, photographer who cares about the quality, your happiness on your wedding day, and feeling confident throughout that entire day and every time you look at pictures afterwards, then look no further!

  Team Bride!

  We used Carlsbad Photo for our wedding and our photographer Irina was phenomenal. Neither my husband nor I were very comfortable with having our pictures taken and she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed for both our engagement and wedding. She took so many beautiful candid photographs and gave direction to make our pictures look both beautiful and natural. She was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend her.I chose Carlsbad Photo before I even picked my dress! When you meet people with a good heart who are loving life, everything around them is that much better. Why would you not want someone like that shooting your special day when you are surrounded by everyone you love? Her energy enhances everything and she will make you laugh so much! She will help you with questions beyond photos for your big day - she has a lot of experience and literally knows everything about weddings! She was pretty much our coordinator. She instructed us when to stop and kiss after we headed out of the isle, how to cut the cake, and even how to toss my bouquet to get the most beautiful pictures!!!And to me, the best part of booking Irina is that you will have someone on your special day who truly is the TEAM BRIDE!

  Irina was amazing and affordable! A lot of photographers had requirements that just didn't fit my needs and Irina was very flexible. She's good to communication, called to consult and get an idea of our vision and gave us tips on how to make our photos look amazing! She gave us a sneak peak of our photos a couple days after our wedding and had our whole album with TONS of photos weeks later and sent a USB for printable versions as well. I would book her for any event in the future.

  Irina from Carlsbad Photo was an exceptional wedding photographer. Despite having to change our plans due to travel restrictions, Irina captured every moment flawlessly. She arrived early, helped organize our dressing room, and was great with our daughters. The photos she took, including our first touch, still bring tears to our eyes. Irina expertly captured all the fun and dances, as well as our crazy families. Highly recommended!

  Tamarack Beach Carlsbad Wedding on 10/12/2019

  Irina is amazing!!! She was the photographer at our beach wedding in Carlsbad and she captured everything we wanted and more!
  The pictures are beautiful and all of them reflect the happiness, love and fun of our special day.

  Irina did our wedding photos and they turned out wonderfully!

  She did an amazing job capturing all of the moments we wanted plus some more. Irina was incredibly keen on the shadows and the way my dress lay so each picture was just right. There was no time for our portraits of just the two of us between the ceremony and reception, so she even pulled us away for only 15 min and got some perfect shots during the reception. She was also incredibly flexible when my hair salon ran late and was so nice she added zero stress to any crazy situation that came up. Thank you Irina for adding to special day!

  Excellent value! Very good quality, got USB with all the high resolution photos. Also gave lower res to send around to family. Willing to please. Maybe needs a little organization on getting family members together for group photos, but as a bride I should have told my family where to meet right after the ceremony, like, "Meet by the bottom of the deck stairs." But Irina did an excellent job - took photos I didn't even know I wanted! Would recommend.
