We hired Carlos and his musician to play guitar at an 80th birthday party and he was wonderful. From the start, his communication and follow-through were great, which made everything very easy when planning the event.
He’s a very skilled guitarist and created such a nice atmosphere for the celebration. The music was perfect for the occasion and our guests really enjoyed it.
He was professional, easy to work with, and everything went exactly as promised. He was also a great value for the money—we felt very lucky to have found him.
I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a talented guitarist for an event.

Great variety
The variety in their repertoire as a Latin jazz and variety duo was outstanding. From traditional Spanish guitar to Latin jazz and modern pieces, there was something for everyone. Carlos and his team were top notch both musically and professionally. I loved the time Carlos took on the phone to explain the process and how he would incorporate our wedding vision with the music. We chose a solo guitarist from his team for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Fantastic! The music was so powerful and exactly what we wanted. When my husband and I were planning our intimate wedding we knew we didn't want a DJ, we wanted something more relaxed and unique that guests could still enjoy to really set the tone for the evening. When we came across Carlos, we knew he was the one! He and his nephew were incredible, they played from our ceremony through the cocktail hour and the reception. I hired Carlos to play at my wedding ceremony and reception. Months prior to the wedding date, he personally worked with us on song selection, timing and every other detail you can imagine. He gave my husband and I ideas and recommendations on the types of music to pick, but never pushed us in any particular direction. He told us what would work and what wouldn't work, and would explain why. Since he has years of experience, he also gave us advice on the ceremony details that we hand not thought of. He was extremely thorough and organized during the process.
On the day of the wedding, he was professional and gracious. We had a move scheduled between the ceremony and reception and they pulled it off seamlessly. Just about every guest at our wedding complimented the duo guitarists on their song selection and talent. They created an elegant, yet lively, vibe to both the ceremony and reception.
Carlos is honest and fair and we came to have a lot of trust in him very early on. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Carlos. If I had another event to plan, he will definitely be the first person I would call.

Olympic level talent- Carlos raises the bar!!
Carlos is THE BEST. He's so polite, professional, intuitive, knows how to pick music to set the mood, and learned an extra song we requested for my mom's funeral reception. He was a JOY to listen to, and just paid attention to detail and made us feel really cared for. I would highly highly highly recommend him for any future events. I was able to not worry and focus on my guests, knowing we were in great hands music wise. Its lovely to see someone who does their job with such pride, and it just helped us make awesome family memories. Thank you Carlos!

Musician that captures the spirit of a Spanish inspired wedding
Carlos set the tone for our entire wedding from the first point of communication until the last song was played as we walked down the aisle. He is my "go to" person when I an involved in planning an event with live music. He can play for hours and never repeat a song. He is reliable and professional and extremely talented. Carlos was great to work with at our small wedding in New Braunfels in September 2020. His skill as a musician is incredible, that is without a doubt! I lucked out when chose Carlos Sanchez for a last minute change of my daughter’s wedding rehearsal dinner. We hosted 40 ppl in our backyard ,and 40 ppl asked me where this amazing musician came from!! He arrived early, his song list endless and varied and most of all, HE IS A GREAT MUSICIAN! The volume was always perfect and he chose music to make all ages happy. He would be the highlight of any event. Our group ages were 10-93 and everyone loved him❤️

Incredible addition to our wedding
I can't recommend Carlos highly enough. We loved working with him every step of the way. His music beautifully set the mood for our outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner at Southwest School of Art. We received so many compliments about him from our family and friends (young and old). My husband and I were initially stumped about what to do for ceremony music. From the first moment we spoke to Carlos, we knew we made the right decision. He is so professional and passionate about his job. Planning is stressful, and Carlos is detail oriented - we immediately knew we could trust him to do a great job. We really appreciated that Carlos was willing to learn a couple of new songs for our ceremony. They sounded great! The little things (like background music at a cocktail hour) make a world of difference. He made the night really magical! On top of his talent, Carlos is a GREAT person - truly the nicest guy to work with.

Smooth Spanish Guitar
Carlos was great for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Guests commented how good his music was. It was a nice Spanish guitar sound which he was able to play a wide variety of music. We sent him YouTube links of the special songs we wanted and he learned to play those for the big day. It was most helpful that he had music links of a list of several songs that we could simply pick from for him to play. He was very kind and asked lots of questions to ensure he delivered whatever we wanted from a music perspective on our wedding day.

Carlos was simply amazing! He was professional, showed up on time, and was easy to work with. He was responsive and very friendly. He made it clear from the very beginning that he wanted to tailor his performance to our specific needs and preferences (right down to what he himself would wear to the event). Once you book him, you can take that off the list and forget about it! You are in great hands! His reviews were great and he didn't disappoint in any way.
We could not have been more pleased. His playing was magnificent! We got so many compliments! He played for our son's very large rehearsal dinner (120 people). He had to play upstairs at the venue during the cocktail hour, then transition downstairs for the dinner. He made the switch smoothly and quickly! His beautiful playing was the perfect addition to a wonderful evening. He even let us borrow his microphone for short little speeches during dessert. By the end of the evening, he was part of the family! I cannot recommend Carlos ENOUGH. We would definitely hire him again in the future and we would certainly recommend him to all of our family and friends!

Fantastic musician -- kind and professional
Carlos was a first-rate musician and an extremely professional vendor to work with. We worked with him in May 2018 for a rehearsal dinner at the JW Marriott. Within hours of contacting him (the week of the event! -- our music plans fell through at the last minute), we had a contract set up and a plan for personalized music. His rate was very reasonable, his service and care for our family and the bride and groom was so kind and thoughtful of our needs, and the music was fantastic. There was an array of music styles, and his repertoire perfectly fit each moment of the evening. Carlos brought all of his own equipment and was self sufficient and so easy to work with. He was a pleasure to work with and I would absolutely recommend his business.

Carlos and his Band were an absolute hit. Our guests raved about the variety and quality of the repertoire.
Carlos was not only outstanding in his performance but also in the way he guided us through the process of selecting music for our event, following up as the date approached, arriving on time, looking sharp and being very attentive and respectful to our guests.

Great setting for a reception
Carlos is great to work with and has good follow through. His music is authentic and calming. I highly recommend him for any reception where you want a nice ambiance for your guests.

Excellent musicians and very professional
Carlos and his band were amazing. They showed up with plenty of time to set up and played a wide variety of music throughout. Our company event was better because of them. I would definitely hire them again.

Carlos and his band performed 2 times for Refuge of Hope's Annual Benefit Dinner. Carlos and his band carry themselves with so much professionalism. They know how to entertain the audience at times but also knew when to become background music. Carlos has an amazing talent and together with his band they play beautifully! He has never disappointed and our guest had nothing but great feedback. I absolutely love these guys and what they brought to our event. Thank Carlos!

We contacted Carlos without knowing anything about him. He turned out to be a gem. He was very responsive, punctual, and our guests loved him and his music. He is a fantastic musician. We received so many compliments on him from our 50th Wedding Anniversary guests and I would hire him again for any event. He will only make your party better.

Carlos is an amazing guitarist. He performed for our wedding this past Saturday and we could not have been more pleased. He performed the music we wanted for our ceremony as well as entertained guests for 2 hours afterwards with an incredible repitoure of new and classic music! A few of our guests commented that Carlos was the most talented guitarist they had ever seen! I would not hesitate to recommend Carlos to anyone!

Mr. Carlos Sanchez was phenomenal for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour music. He worked with both of us at every step. With our busy schedules, he was able to communicate with us over e-mail and phone calls after hours. He was able to provide ideas and suggestions to help the progress of our decisions along. I could not have asked for a better vendor. When the time came for the performance, it was heaven. He even went above and beyond helping out our officiant with a mic and stand. While our guests were having cocktails he performed more music for this hour. A friend who's daughter was getting married in a few months also booked him because his performance was THAT good. If you book Mr. Carlos Sanchez, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Carlos for your outstanding professionalism and wonderful talent.
