  From the cake tasting to helping us decide what the design on the cake should be we had a great experience and they made the process as painless as possible and they worked with us within our budget. The cake that night tasted great and even got to have a few pieces a few days after that still tasted fresh.

  The most beautiful wedding cake I have ever seen in my life! We loved working with Carlos to create our amazing wedding cake. It tasted delicious and their pastries were great too. Anyone getting married at Mallard Island Yacht Club should be very excited to work with such an amazing (and famous) bakery!

  Carlos Bakery was the bakery we used for our wedding. It was part of the package for our venue and catering. Sometimes having to use the venue's vendors can be stressful since it is not someone you hand picked to use. But I was very happy with how my cake looked and tasted on the day of my wedding.
  Everyone we came in contact with at Carlos Bakery during our consultation was professional and kind. The look me and my now husband were going for with our cake did not match any of the cakes that were apart of our package. They were flexible about the style of the cake and allowed us to design a cake we wanted that would be within our package standards. The only complaint I had was the cost if we wanted something extra added to the cake. For example, most of the cakes presented to us that were covered within our package was fondant and had lots of added flowers, bows, etc. on them. We wanted something more simple; rough buttercream with a bow accent. They agreed that this style would be fine style change for our cake. I asked if they bow could be navy and white striped. They said they could make the bow navy and white striped, but it would cost an extra $200....when just plain navy would be "free" (included in the price). I am not within the business, but to me $200 extra to make the bow navy and white verses just navy is a little extreme. This is my only complaint about my experience. On the day of our wedding, the cake arrived on time, in perfect condition, looked exactly what I imagined, and it tasted delicious.

  We had an idea of what we wanted our cake to look like but that did not work out very well with our budget. We were still able to get a beautiful and delicious cake that everyone complimented.
