We hired Van Bertie to play steel drums during our wedding cocktail hour, and he was amazing! His music created the perfect atmosphere — fun, relaxed, and tropical — and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting him. Van was also incredibly professional and flexible when we had to change the location last minute due to the weather. He handled everything with such a positive attitude and greeted everyone with a big smile.
If you’re looking for a talented, easygoing musician who will elevate your event, Van Bertie is the one! Highly recommend! 🎶🌴

Van - where do we being to thank you. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We were luckily enough to work with Van for our cocktail hour on a catamaran and it was everything and more. He was a dream to work with and his style fit everything we could have asked for and more. He was a HUGE hit with everyone and wish we could have had him play for hours on the catamaran. Van was fantastic! Not only was he extremely professional and courteous but he was an excellent musician. His vibe was perfect for what we wanted for our wedding. He was extremely accommodating. He even learned a song that we requested for our first dance together. My guests LOVED him. I would highly recommend him for your event! -

We used Caribbean steel drum for our cocktail hour at The Reach Hotel .. Loved the vibe it brought to our day and turned cocktail hour into a party. The songs were a perfect addition to the event. Our wedding was on the pier and magically they were playing as the guests arrived for drinks and small bites on The Reach Lawn.

It was always my dream to have steel drum band playing on the beach on my wedding day—Bob did not disappoint! He even went as far as to perfect “the rain song” by Led Zeppelin for my husbands entrance to ceremony which will go down in history!
Guests loved the steel drum during cocktail hour and it’s so nice to be able to curate a list of your faves! I would def book Bob again! -

We were planning a destination wedding and had no clue what we were doing. My planner recommended a steel drum player and I received Van’s name from another artist that was based out of town and then I was able to find him on here. I am so happy we were put in contact with him. He was great and made the process so easy and also supplied sound for our ceremony. His prices were reasonable and he is great at what he does! We cannot say enough good things about him! 10/10! -
