If you’re looking for a DJ who gets it look no further than DJ Mike Carcano! He was a total game-changer at our June 21st wedding at Lido House in Newport Beach. From the planning stages to the final song of the night, Mike was on point with every detail.
He worked closely with us on our music selections, created a beautiful lighting setup, and added extra touches of décor that really elevated the atmosphere. But the real magic? He jumped on the drums and performed live with our Arabic percussionist — the energy in the room was unreal!
Mike found the perfect balance between Diane’s Jordanian background and my Cuban heritage, and he had both families dancing the entire night. People are still telling us how epic the party was and so much of that is thanks to Mike. He’s talented, professional, and just an all-around great guy.
We’re officially keeping him in our lives for any future events. Highly, highly recommend!

So Glad we used Carcano DJ, AV, and Lighting!
My son and his fiancée were on a very tight budget and wanted to have a small backyard wedding. Originally, they thought they would save money by not hiring a DJ and just creating a playlist on their own to "plug in" for the night. I am so glad we decided to hire Carcano DJ. They were amazing! They ended up being such a key part of the wedding that we could not have done it without them! We got market lighting and a beautiful drape which made the backyard look just like the bride wanted it to look! They provided the mic and speakers for the officiant, the songs being played for the processionals, the whole DJ experience for the Grand Entrance, first dance, Father-Daughter dance, and Mother-son dance. Ryan was so good and so professional. He was really great at getting the crowd involved and even lead them in the "Cupid Shuffle" (at the request of a wedding guest). Everyone had such a great time! Again, I am so glad that we hired Carcano DJ. I will definitely be calling on them again when my other kids get married. -

Our wedding day was transformed into a magical experience thanks to the exceptional services provided by Carcano DJ Audio Visual & Lighting. From the moment we began planning our wedding party, we knew that the ambiance would play a crucial role in bringing our vision to life. Mike not only understood our vision but elevated it to heights we hadn't imagined.
The lighting, drapery, and dance floor provided by them were absolutely stunning. The lighting set the mood for the entire evening, creating a romantic and mesmerizing atmosphere that captivated every guest. Their expertise in lighting design truly played a role especially when the mood needed to pivot from a romantic evening into a party with the use of the intelligent lighting system they suggested we use.
The drapery added an extra layer of elegance and sophistication to our venue. Their attention to detail and understanding of how to utilize space and decor to enhance an event's aesthetic was evident in the way the drapery complemented the overall theme and decor of our wedding. It transformed the space into a serene and beautiful setting that felt both intimate and grand.
The dance floor was the centerpiece of our reception, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The quality and setup were perfect, providing a spacious and inviting area that encouraged every guest to dance the night away. It was the hub of joy and celebration.
Their team's professionalism, expertise, and passion for what they do made working with them an absolute pleasure. They were dedicated to making our wedding party a success, going above and beyond to ensure every detail was executed to perfection. It was very beautifully done, exceeding our expectations in every way.

Everyone raved about the music and gobos at our wedding!! We had a rock/alternative theme and Ryan & Mike really blew us away! I was afraid with this style music there would be a lull on the dance floor… but these guys kept everyone moving. We had Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses, Neil Diamond… and it goes on. This is a party we will never forget!
Planning pre wedding was awesome too. Mike and Debbie were so responsive and helpful with all of our questions. -

We hired this family run Dj service and they are so cool and professional. Dj was hype but not overly and the music was perfect. It’s like they feel the vibe and go with it and for us they nailed it. Dj checked in with us making sure everything was good. I think a few family members went up to him for a card for upcoming events :)

The Carcano family is a force to be reckoned with. What I love about this family run business is how proud everyone is of each other as well as the work they do. They stand by each other and they stand by their work and when you're with them, you're feeling like you're a part of their family as well.
We were lucky to meet the Carcano DJ fam at a Wedding Expo out of all places and we were intrigued because of the videos they've had from previous events but just the all around contagious and genuine energy we felt upon meeting them. Once we got their information, they invited us over to get an understanding of what kind of music we wanted as well as what kind of vibe we wanted our wedding to have. As someone who really appreciates music with clubs and music festivals, the Carcano fam knew immediately what kind of route I wanted to go and invited us to their showroom to provide a preview of what was to come.
As the months built, the Carcanos were always quick to communicate and answer any questions I have as well as meet through Zoom when they could. I was specific with my music choices as I crafted a sentimental and touching pre-ceremony mix, a vibin' cocktail hour mix and then an absolute send for our wedding party mix. As much control as I had, I wanted to give the Carcano DJ squad creative freedom to feel the crowd and just play to keep the energy going. They understood that and was able to provide other things I asked for; confetti, CO2 tanks and big smiles all around.
The Carcanos came down to San Diego to our absolutely beautiful and one of a kind venue and were able to visualize where everything needed to go so they could put on the memorable performance I had expected from them. Making these trips on their own, I appreciate the extra mile (pun intended) that they went through to make sure everything was covered on their end.
Wedding day comes in and we are gifted with the all star team of Ryan, Max, Jason and Angelina. Angelina handled the photo booth that we also added as our package and our guests told us how much fun the booth was. I must say, once Ryan, Max and Jason were testing the music and sound upon arrival, the energy and enthusiasm I felt was immediate. And after all the zoom calls and the analysis of the music playlist I had shared through Google Sheets, everything musically was executed to perfection. Ryan, who was also our MC, did a phenomenal job with his announcements and making sure the guests were in tune with what was about to happen. Also, Ryan, if you're reading, a lot of the guests said you have that "voice", which got everyone pumped and smiling with the energy you had.
After handling the music for the pre-ceremony and cocktail hour and providing the announcements needed, the peak of the night ended in the dance party which was delivered flawlessly. With Max and Jason helping create the perfect dance atmosphere and after meticulously planning our CONFETTI+CO2 GUN SURPRISE, we delivered with an explosion of cheers and gasps and awe. From that point on, with my influence, Ryan delivered with great music, creative mixing and always keeping the energy at a high until the venue had to force guests out because our time was at a near. To this day, our guests continue to excitedly tell us how epic our wedding was and it couldn't have been done without the Carcano team.
BIG THANK YOU to Ryan, Max, Jason, and Angelina for being at our wedding and later enjoying the later parts of the night as we all got to let loose together. You guys are amazing and as someone who values family and just good energy, you would've thought we were related (we might be though, who knows). Also thank you for being respectful and helpful to our venue as originally they said no confetti but your wonderful team was willing to help clean and just go the extra mile to make sure this night was one we'd never forget and our guests would always remember. We hope you all were able to have an amazing time yourselves and we will always recommend your family for everything events related. Also big thank you for the big man Michael Carcano and Debbie being the reason why we came to you guys, I'd be proud to be a Carcano as well and you both did it right. Hope nothing but the best for your fam and any event that doesn't have the Carcanos doesn't realize what they're missing. -

We hired Carcano for our wedding that’s been pushed back since 2020. They were very flexible and understanding with the constant changes to our wedding. We had carcano help with the drapery and of course, the DJ for our ceremony and reception. Our ceremony had a gazebo where we also wanted drapery done, they were hesitant at first because they didn’t do drapery for a gazebo very often. However, with one reference photo, they were able to do a beautiful job and it set such a dreamy look to the gazebo. Our ballroom was also dressed up wonderfully with the drapery, lights, dance floor, chairs, etc. We were so happy with how everything came together as well as the DJ, Max. He was so great and kept everyone dancing until the very end. We had the best time and couldn’t be happier with Carcano’s service. -

My husband and I are extremely happy with the our wedding, especially having Carcano DJ Audio Visual & Lighting as our vendor. Mike, his wife Debbie and son Ryan are a great family, very professional, but also know how to have fun and make a wedding memorable. The playlist for our wedding was PERFECT, definitely a reflection of my husband and I. Everyone danced the night away, no one ever wanted to leave the dance floor. Also Ryan made a special mix for my father/ daughter dance, that I had requested, which made it unforgettable. It was exactly what I wanted! Carcano DJ was on the list of recommended vendors for our wedding venue. We are so happy we chose to go with their services. We found that they were a real value for our wedding day and provided wonderful insight as we were planning our ceremony and reception. For example, Michael suggested that we hire ceremony musicians instead of having him play our favorite songs during the ceremony. He noted it would help us have the more intimate ceremony we were looking for and bring an overall charm to our day. I'm so happy I listed to his advice and he really considered the quality of our day as opposed to simply taking the additional hour of DJ services. This is the type of thoughtfulness you can expect from Carcano DJ.
I primarily worked with Debbie to coordinate all the services for our wedding day. I found that Carcano DJ was extremely helpful and understanding throughout the rescheduling process we had to go through during the height of the COVID 19 pandemic. They made it very easy to reschedule out wedding date. Additionally, they were extremely flexible with adding services. Last minute, I thought about how the venue would really benefit from some lighting for ambiance and they kindly and quickly obliged to make this possible. She coordinated with my day-of coordinator to ensure that all the important dances were accounted for and made it so people got up on the dance floor for some fun line dancing.
Ryan was the DJ for our wedding. He was so upbeat and really made it easy for our guests to know the course of events for the evening. He was so friendly and made the dance floor a wonderful place to be for all of our guests.

One Stop Shop!
We loved working with Debbie, Mike, and Ryan! We started working with them in 2019 for our wedding that was supposed to take place in 2020. Due to COVID, we had to postpone our original wedding date. They were so patient and kind with us. We postponed several times until finally deciding on our wedding date in August 2021. They were with us every step of the way. We rented their beautiful chiavari chairs, chargers, seamless white dance floor, lighting, draping, dance fog, CO2 cannons, and photobooth. Mike was our DJ and MC. He kept the energy up all night and helped our reception program go smoothly! We are so thankful for this family and for making our wedding day a dream come true. We highly recommend them and their above and beyond service. Book them for your wedding and next event, you will not regret it!!! -

Our wedding night was LIT, definitely one for the books, having Mike and Ryan as our MC and DJ. They absolutely killed it! We’ve gotten (and still getting) a TON of compliments from friends and family.
We were completely worry-free and confident with them from the start, just knowing it'd go all smoothly with them.. and then comes the day of and they just blew those expectations out of the water. The night was everything we hoped for, plus more. They steered it perfectly.
In all - we had a blast and our guests did too. More than anything else, a lot of the talk has been about the dance party, or, our “wedding rave” more than anything else, which was the vibe we wanted after all the traditional moments and formalities were done with. But, even then, they spiced those moments up! From the procession and recession, the transition from cocktail hour to reception, our grand entrance, to even “walk on, walk off” music when our folks came up to give their speeches.. The music set the tone and emotion, and just built so much excitement throughout the evening.
Thanks to this stellar team for making our special day unforgettable!!

First of all - if you are looking for a DJ Company, Lighting, Company or draping company, you can not do better than Carcano. I've been doing events in Southern California for 6 years and they by far have the best service, the best attention to detail. Mike and Ryan are kind, patient, funny, personable and great at their jobs. Ryan DJ'd a 600 person holiday party for a software company that my boyfriend works for and we danced the night away! Imagine trying to get 600 people onto the dance floor! Mike has DJ'd countless events at my facilities as well and is the most fun! Most recently the two of them (along with Mike's wife Debbie of Chiavari Chairs 4 Rent) helped me put together the most perfect micro-wedding for my best friend. Her wedding plans had been derailed by COVID and she was out nearly $10K from her original venue and caterer. The team at Carcano DJ helped us transport a tiny backyard and dining room into the most beautiful ceremony and dinner location so that they could still tie the knot on their original date. You really can't go wrong with this company! So what are you waiting for? Call them already! -

Ryan and everyone else involved in our micro-wedding was absolutely amazing and made our day such a meaningful and enjoyable success! We so greatly appreciate the last-minute sound adjustments that made our Zoom sound perfect and for us to hear my mother play her song so beautifully from 3000 miles away! We hired Mike for our wedding on October 5, 2019 at the Summit House. He was on our preferred vendor list given to us by our venue and we could not have been more grateful to have been introduced to him. I had already reached out to another dj that was recommended to us. However, when I was making an appointment with our photographer, Stefani Welsh, she mentioned that she was out of the same office as him and offered to set up a meeting to meet both of them. After my husband and I met with Mike we knew instantly that he was a perfect fit for us. We really loved his experience with weddings, his music vibe, professionalism, and just how easy going and dependable he presented himself and his company to be. Coming from someone who works in a family business, I also really liked that they work together. He also did our gobo and uplighting which made our reception even more special. If our venue package did not include almost everything we needed, we would definitely have rented everything from Mike. If you are in need of someone for your wedding or an event, honestly stop looking because you found him. I feel one of the biggest mistakes people make when hiring their dj is that they don't hire a wedding/events dj. You need someone that can not only read the crowd and capture your vibe, but someone that is great on the mic, understands how weddings flow, and great at timing....believe me....it makes all the difference! -

Working with Mike was easily one of the best decisions I made while I was planning for my wedding. Before meeting with Mike, I talked to numerous vendors for draping, lighting, chairs, and DJ/EMCEE's that all charged an arm and a leg. Mind you, it's not the easiest to find someone who does it ALL- but Mike does all of that and more! You also have to consider that when you hire multiple vendors they each charge a delivery fee, so it's awesome that Mike has everything you need and you really won't have to look anywhere else!
Mike is incredibly fun to work with and upon meeting him, you can tell he's passionate about what he does and he will go above and beyond to make your day special for you.
Not only did my husband and I love Mike, but our guests did as well! And that's not an easy feat when you get a group of 200 Korean people in one room..
Nonetheless, I had a great time working with Mike and I would recommend him to friend's and family in the future when they're ready to tie the knot. It was truly an honor working with him and an experience I will never forget!

My (now) wife and I hired Michael and his crew to provide audio, visual, and lighting for our wedding.
Michael and his crew provide excellent customer service. First, they sent us a contract with everything clearly stated as to what they were going to provide, our responsibilities, and their responsibilities.
Once we had the contract signed, they scouted our venue a couple of months in advance. Then they came back the day before the wedding to set everything up. They went above and beyond by helping us with some additional touches around the venue.
The day of the wedding, they looked great. My wife had provided them with a Spotify playlist to work with. They used it and added their own songs. Everyone loved the music. They MC'ed the wedding perfectly.
Some additional points. They always responded to our e-mails, calls, and texts right away. They were always friendly and upbeat. I highly recommend Carcano DJ! -

I found Carcano DJ on instagram and that led me to their website where I was able to research all about their business. I knew early on I wanted to hire Mike as our DJ due to his great experience in the wedding DJ industry. Carcano DJ is a family-owned business and they also provide extra services such as lighting, drapery, chairs, & photobooth. The Carcanos are really great people and after our meeting with them I felt super excited to hire them! Mike will be DJing and providing lighting for our venue (Chuck Jones Center). -

Everything you read on all of these reviews is TRUE. They are the best thing that happened to our wedding. Ou original DJ bailed on us a little over a month before our wedding on 12.23.18 and we found them by chance on WeddingWire and we could not have been more lucky. Mike was so very flexible in pricing and did everything he could to make our reception as amazing as our vision was and he exceeded our expectations. We received so many compliments on the decor, the music and the DJ himself. We will 110% recommend to all of our friends and we will hire them again for your own events. You will not be sorry! We couldn't have been happier with their service. -

I met Mike at a wedding expo in early January 2018. I went specifically to the expo to meet with DJs, as at the time, this was one of the only wedding vendors my (now) husband and I had left to hire. Hiring the perfect DJ was top priority for both of us, and we had already met with quite a few potential DJs that didn’t fit the bill. After chatting with Mike, we decided to meet him at his office in the following weeks. Everything about our meeting with Mike blew us away – he was professional, friendly, and it was obvious he knew what he was doing. Carcano DJ is a family-owned business, and they treat you like family. Both my husband and I felt a connection with him, so we decided to hire him (as well as his son Ryan’s photo booth company, Capture Photo Booths) for our wedding. And what a great decision that was! Mike was a true professional on our wedding day, his MC’ing was friendly and funny but not cheesy and did not steal the show from us and our guests. And his music was on point! Not once was our dance floor ever empty, and every single one of our guests – young and old – had a blast on the dance floor all night! We could not have asked for a better DJ and will forever credit Mike for helping make our wedding perfect! -

That was our experience with Carcano DJ Audio Visual & Lighting. We were initially interested Carcano for its DJ services and ended up using their services for much more, including master of ceremonies, Chiavari chairs, pipe & drape, lighting, etc. On top of that, they referred us to our wonderful photographer Stefani Welsh Photography, our fun and modern photo booth vendor Capture Photo Booths and even part of our evening entertainment, the talented duo Bolero Soul. Carcano is a great family-owned business and the quintessential one-stop-shop. We are truly lucky we met Mike and Debbie early on in our wedding planning process.
