Love them!

I only went to three stores to shop for a bridal gown. I knew I wanted A line but I tried on a few different styles. I pretty much left with what I envisioned myself picking. The staff there are really nice and I enjoyed working with them a lot! They work with a great tailor that is just a few doors down!

I worked with Kim to find my gown and Meaghan G helped me with my veil. I found them very easy to work with and would definitely use them again!

My experience at Carbonneau Bridal was absolutely the BEST! Danielle took the time to understand what I kind of had in mind but I really wasn't sure what I wanted. She had many dresses ready to try on. I fell in LOVE with the second dress I tried. I really wanted to make sure it the " THE PERFECT DRESS". Danielle was very patient with me and let me try on about 12 other dresses till I went back to the second dress I tried on. Girls, Don't settle!! When you know, you know. They had every size possible, which helped make you feel comfortable. Highly recommend Carbonneau Bridal and Formalwear! Can't wait to pick out our wedding party dresses and Tux's in a few weeks.

I said YES to my perfect wedding dress at Carbonneau’s and I couldn’t have dreamed of a better experience. From the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by name right away by Danielle B., to the letterboard in my dressing room welcoming me, to the toast after I said yes. Danielle was outstanding, she understood what I was looking for and found several dresses that embodied my vision. The dress I went with was the third dress I tried on, and she found the absolute perfect belt to go with it. Danielle and Lynn truly made my dreams come true. I’m so grateful to Carbonneau’s for making wedding dress shopping such a fantastic experience, even during a pandemic.

The staff at Carbonneau Bridal & Formalwear took such great care of me! I purchased my gown, veil and belt in September 2017 for my June 2018 wedding. We had our wedding in NY, so I chose to find a gown closer to where my mom lives in MA. I remembered visiting Carbonneau with my cousin for her prom, so we decided to take a look at their bridal selection when it came time to shop for my wedding dress. Kyla listened to my vision and selected gowns that really fit my style. I chose a Casablanca gown that was the dress of my dreams and paired it with the most beautiful cathedral length veil. Working with vendors from across the country can be stressful but Carbonneau made this west coast bride feel so at ease; from shopping to fittings to alterations. As my wedding day approached, I had my final appointment with Lynn. Lynn made sure that everything was perfect for my big day. I received a hands-on experience that I don't think I would have had in any shop in Los Angeles. I am so happy that I went to Carbonneau!

Carbonneau's dressed my entire wedding party, from my dress, to the bridemaids, to the groom and groomsmen, to the fathers, to the mother of the bride, Carbonneaus's was our one stop shop. My mom and I went to this vendor yesterday in order to purchase the mother of the bride's dress. We did not have an appointment and ended up working with Lynn. She was so happy to help and extremely professional. She made suggestions for dresses for my mom to try on and also gave her opinion on how they looked which was super helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a dress for their mom. They also had a large selection and it was a one stop shop to find all the accessories as well. Elegance by Carbonneau is amazing. I bought my dress here a few weeks ago, I came for trunk show and Rylee was super amazing and helpful. She was able to show me other styles and what did or didn't work for my body. Once she put me in my dress though, it made me feel so beautiful. i highly recommend coming here, everyone was so nice, they really made the experience enjoyable.

I was so impressed by my recent experience at Elegance by Carbonneau. Right when I entered, I liked the clean, elegant and comfortable atmosphere. All of the workers were dressed in black with professional make up and were very friendly. Kyla O'Neill approached me immediately and after getting a good idea of what I wanted she got started picking out dresses. It didn't take her long to pick out dresses that were exactly what I was looking for. She also asked me to point out any dresses that I was interested in and she pulled those. After trying on the dresses , I ended up picking the style I had never even thought of but fell in love with it when Kyla brought it over to me. She gave me lots of time to try on the top contenders back to back and with different veils. She also gave me some great suggestions on color combos for the color that I was considering. During my visit I saw a woman getting her makeup done by another worker and it looked great! I bought the dress today and was pleasantly surprised to get 10 % off the price because it was a trunk show week! I also found out that Carbonneaus' does everything else too - from invitations to tuxes. I would highly recommend Elegance by Carbonneau and Kyla!

I went to Elegance with a short time line and a reasonable price in mind... They answered the phone quickly and had plenty of available openings. There was on,y one other bride which was a much better experience than a busy weekend at the chain bridal store. Not only did I find my dream dress but a few that is have been happy and honored to wear. The girls were not only attentive and helpful but made the whole experience easy and never let me walk out second guessing that I made the perfect choice. I'll certainly be sending any local brides I know their way.

Kyla was very helpful. I was able find my dress after only trying on 3 dresses. We were also able to look at and purchase the bridesmaids dresses on the same day because we had so much extra time. Kyla was so helpful as the girls tried on different style and color dresses, and she was very organized as she took everyone's measurements. The whole afternoon went so smoothly I couldn't have asked for a nicer experience.

I recently purchased my wedding gown at Carbonneau's in Worcester, MA. I had previously been to a few other bridal stores where I received terrible customer service and was completely dissatisfied. I am so glad that I decided to make an appointment at Carbonneau's! I booked an appointment online, which was super easy and Lynn was the woman who assisted me. She was absolutely amazing and could not have been nicer! She helped me to find the dress of my dreams and made me feel like a princess during my appointment. The store itself is beautiful and they have a runway with big mirrors so you can see yourself in the dresses. I did not have a lot of time to order a dress and they still had an adequate selection of dresses. I would highly recommend this vendor to any bride out there who is searching for the perfect dress. The customer service was outstanding, the selection of dresses was great and the dress I purchased is exquisite. I will be returning soon to purchase a dress for both my mother and grandmother. Ask for Lynn, she is amazing and will definitely give you the top notch experience during your appointment! I could not be happier with my experience at Carbonneau's!

I bought my cathedral length veil ($28), beaded blusher ($28), necklace ($16), and tiara ($36) from Wedding Factory Direct, and was SO PLEASED! I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on my veil and tiara and a friend of mine said she got her headpiece here for SO CHEAP, but I was still a little hesitant about ordering online. Since everything was so inexpensive, relatively speaking, I figured I didn't have much to lose and just went for it and I'm so glad I did! The prices here seem too good to be true, but definitely aren't! Everything came in absolutely perfect, great quality, well-packaged, and relatively quickly, too!

I even made a mistake on the color I ordered for my cathedral length veil when I placed the order. I realized it immediately so I e-mailed to see if they could change it and they responded quickly and changed it before it shipped out. I can't rave about them enough! I recommend them to EVERY bride I ever talk to! The only thing to be aware of is that there are no returns, unless something comes in damaged, so just keep that in mind!

Unbelievably beautiful... I was reluctant to order my tiara with matching jewelry on the Internet. The pictures looked very nice but when I opened my package the set took my breath away... My daughter and I have been looking for a senior prom dress for 6 months. My daughter had a specific dress in mind, along with a specific color. The salespeople at Elegance by Carbonneau were unbelievably helpful, not pushy at all and helped us find the DRESS! Ashlee Winston assisted us the most and when my daughter put "the dress" on, Ashlee went online to see if it was available in red, which was what my daughter was looking for. She also called the vendor to see if they had the red dress in her size, in stock. We had been to several, and I mean several shops. The difference at this shop is that they appeared to really care, weren't pushy and answered questions professionally. We actually had FUN shopping at this store. I would highly recommend this store and will return there for future needs even though it is quite a distance from my home.

This is not a wedding review, but a review for their services for Prom. We went shopping in February for Prom Dresses and the team of Ashlee, Kelsey and Carolyn were so fabulous! We had been to another bridal store the week previous, and although we did buy one of the two dressses we needed there, the service level and the experience were nowhere near what we had at Elegance! The store has a whole dressing room with decor suitable for teenage girls dedicated to them so they they don't feel like they are "in the way" of the bridal shop. It was truly a great experience, and I highly recommend the store. They have a great selection, merchandise dresses by style then color, and are very helpful with suggestions.

I was so happy and pleased in going to shop at Elegance by Carbonneau in Worcester, MA!! The shop is beautiful and the staff that I worked with was more then helpful.
I had gone in on a quiet Monday early afternoon and worked with a nice young lady named Kyla. I was the mother of the bride and this was my first stop for shopping. She was so helpful and very sweet. She helped me pick out a few different styles, and was helpful with the zippers too while getting dressed. Once I found the dress that I wanted, she helped me pick out shoes and earrings.
It looks like this shop has everything for the bridal party, I wish my daughter lived in Massachusetts so she could've purchased her gown and bridesmaids here, but she is out on the west coast and getting married out there so that is where she did all of her shopping. But I am happy I did mine with Elegance By Carbonneau.

I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from Carbonneau's online site and dealt directly with Colleen. She was prompt, extremely responsive and helpful. It was difficult trying to coordinate the order with 6 bridesmaids but Colleen got back to me extremely quickly with all of my questions and seemed genuinely happy to help. I had an issue with the swatch i received from the bridesmaid dress manufacturer being too small, Colleen handled the issue from start to finish and was able to get me a new swatch. I had a wonderful experience with them and would highly recommend Carbonneaus as well as their online site www.mydress4less.com to any bride who wants top quality customer service and employees who truly care about their customers.

I had to get 8 bridesmaid dresses ordered, via the interent, for military bridesmaids spread from Rhode Island to a Navy ship in the middle of the Indian Ocean! I called and talked to Colleen about how to go about getting all the dresses ordered and on a tight schedule. She walked me through the process and gave me the 15% discount that the local shop was offering me for ordering all the dresses at once (to ensure dye lot match). The bridesmaid on the Navy ship bought the dress first before I could tell her that the price had been adjusted and Colleen fixed it for her/me after the purchase had been made, easily done. The dresses were suppose to arrive late August for a Columbus Day weekend wedding. We all received them a month early, in July, making the alteration timeline easier on us all. I have heard horror stories about ordering dresses online. Dealing with Elegance by Carbonneau made it the best experience ever! Thank you and I look forward to using you in the future!

I had an amazing experience today with Elegance by Carbonneau. Alexandria was so kind and patient with me. This was my first time trying on dresses and i had no idea what i liked. I tried on at least 15 dresses and she never seemed frustrated. The last dress was the one that I picked and all the consultants came around and flourished me with compliments. I know this is their job but I was so happy that they all joined in (we were the only ones in the store). I have no complaints about this place and I am excited to go back agaiN!

I am sooo thankful for this place!!!! My brothers fiancé ordered my dress about 8 sizes too big (how that happens I have no idea) and when it came it I tried it on and it was huge, there was no amount of altering that could save it! I searched every bridal store in Vegas and Southern California and everyone told me there was no way to get the dress in before the wedding (I was just a little over 2 months away from the wedding) I was sooo upset! Thankfully I can across Elegance by Carbonneau and not only were they able to get the dress to me before the wedding, they were even less than what my future sister in law paid for the dress originally- including the expedited shipping!!! I was a little nervous about getting the dress in time- but not only did it get in a month before the wedding- it came in earlier than they even said it would!!! Absolutely amazing service and I definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a bridesmaid dress!!!! Thank you so much!!!

Loved my experience with them! They were friendly and fun! My maids of honor, my mom and myself had a wonderful time! At one point, we were the only ones there and the other consultant watched me try on dresses. Cathy was super nice and helpful. The service I received at MyDress4less was fantastic. I was very hesitant to order a dress on line. I spoke with Colleen and expressed my concerns because recently I had a bad experience with delivery with a LOCAL vendor. Colleen assured me that they had never had a mix up, my dress would arrive no later than the week of July 5th and even helped me figure out the perfect dress size. I was not even expecting the dress and imagine my surprise to find the most beautiful perfect dress at my door step almost 10 days before I even expected it. I may still try on dresses at a local dress shop but I will certainly order from MyDress4less.com.

I was in a major pinch and needed a bridesmaid dress in less than a week. They responded almost immediately and located the dress in my size/color IN STOCK. I got it in less than 24 hrs, safely and securely. Fantastic experience all around. Best part, best Price too.

When I was receiving responses hours later from other sites saying they couldn't help me nor could anyone else, I was already trying on my dress from Elegance by Carbonneau. So glad I bumped into their site, and will absolutely go back in the future!

I would reccomend visiting this store via mydress4less.com, I ordered 3 bridesmaid dresses by Alexia designs and they are perfect. This is a web store which then orders direct from the designer, NOT copy dresses made in China! 100% happy and satisfied. My dresses were a half the price of buying from a bridal store in England. I even mangaged to buy a brooch from them to change the youngest bridesmaids dress so it matches the adults plus extra material to match for making waiscoates for the men, nothing is to much trouble and Colleen is very attentive to requirements and quick to reply. Go for it, you wont be disappointed.

I went to this shop 2 days before my wedding because I had not found the right earrings and bracelet - I had looked everywhere, however I told my mom that I just wanted to check out one more place before calling off the search. Though the shop had a lot to choose from, I still did not see what I was looking for (though I did not know what it was yet). Then she let me use the computer to see what the warehouse sells (mydressforless.com is run from the 2nd floor). I searched all of the jewelry, wrote down the product numbers and she called upstairs. Within a few minutes, they sent down all of the items that I wanted to see and I found EXACTLY what I wanted!!! I was so happy - I highly recommend that you check out this shop FIRST!

I was skeptical at first about coming here as I thought it was more for prom dresses and teenie-boppers... I was wrong! I love Lynn.. she was the only one who actually told me what looked good, what didn't and she even pulled my dress for me that I ended up wearing on my wedding day. We also got all of our other dresses there. Everything was right the first time, the right size.. and everything came in on time, if not early. Thanks!

Carbonneau's was a fantastic bridal shop to work with! They ordered my dress for me after things did not work out at another bridal shop. My dress came in within 3 month and was perfect! Carbonneau's was also able to offer suggestions about jewelry, hair pieces and provide a recommendation for where to get my dress altered. I felt like I was stopping in there at least once a week for the month leading up to my wedding, and they were always pleasant and eager to help, especially Christine, who had previous experience working with my dress designer and was able to provide a lot of assistance. I ended up purchasing all of my jewelry, as well as my veil and hair piece from there! My look was exactly as I wanted it, and I couldn't have been happier!

I bought my wedding gown at Elegance by Carbonneau, after shopping at several other stores. They had a great selection and their prices that were significantly cheaper than other stores. The customer service was fantastic, and the consultants worked hard to find me a perfect dress within my price range. The consultants were helpful but not pushy. After I bought my dress, I went back with my bridesmaids to shop for their dresses. They tried on a lot of dresses, in a variety of different styles and prices, until we all agreed on one. Overall, it was a positive shopping experience, and I'm glad that we were able to support a family-owned business.

I had gone to several bridal shops throughout Massachusetts and I found Elegance by Carbonneau to be the best and have the best!!
They had a huge selection of gowns to choose from off the racks and in catalogs. I was shopping for myself (the bride to be!) my bridesmaids and my flower girl. We found everything we needed.
The service there was fantastic! The girls there are so much fun.

My Mother and I end wedding gown shopping and had a great experience at this shop. The bridal consultant that I worked with was very professional and very knowledgable. We had a great time and Christine (the bridal consultant) made my gown shopping a very enjoyable experience. She had me try on a gown I never would have looked at. It was the most amazing gown. The price was also fantasic. With no pressure we decided to purchase my wedding gown. I would recommend Elegance to every bride out there.

Elegance by Carbonneaus is the place to go for your wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses. They are so reasonably priced. Their selection is outstanding and if they don't have something you want they will get it for you. We did not have one single issue with them. Lynn who is the owner is so great to deal with. She was always pleasant and willing to help. I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family.

I was very reluctant to use Elegance by Carbonneau for the fact that their prices were so much cheaper than anyone elses. I did not get my bridal gown here only because I purchased it at another shop before I had checked this place out, but I did get the bridesmaid dresses here. I called around to many different shops to find the best price for the dress I wanted. Most prices were $200-$220 (not including taxes), I found one shop nearby that offered it for $180, I called Carbonneau's, told them the $180 price, and they sold the dress to us for $170 (including tax and all). In addition to the great price, there were many other things they did to help me, I was not an easy bride to work with (I changed my mind about a million times).

1. The dress I originally wanted came in the fabric Shantung, I only saw a black dress in this material. I went to a different store to see if I could find my color in this fabric (because most shops only carry one dress of each style/fabric/color) and thank God I did, I was looking to get a light blue color and when I saw this color in this fabric, I noticed that the fabric looked like it had a lot of pulls in it, which did not show up as much in the black dress, there was nothing wrong with the dress, that is just what the fabric looks like. So I went back to Carbonneau's and asked if they could do a fabric change, the company wouldn't let me, but there was another dress that was the same exact style, in satin. They had already had all of the information written down, but they let me change the dress.

2. The new dress that we had selected was higher in price (only 10 dollars more), but to make it easy on everyone, they let us keep the price of the original dress.

3. I ordered a swatch of the dress and when it came in, it wasn't what I had pictured. So, another panicked call to Carbonneau's was placed. Lynn was very helpful and told me that if it was necesary, we could change the color but it had to be done within the next day or two. After the panick blew over, I decided to keep the color and called them back. After that, the dresses (all 7 of them) came back within a month!! I was a little nervous because of how fast they came in, but they were beautiful!

Overall, they were extremely helpful will the whole process. They were very patient with me and were very accommodating. They gave their professional advice when I asked for it and were in no way pushy (which some of these places can be). I would definitely recommend Elegance by Carbonneau to other brides.

I bought my bridal gown here and had it altered here as well. The shop is very cute - they have a seating area and stage where you can model your dress. They also have some smaller areas in the back where you can change and model dresses if you want a more private experience. There are a lot of dresses under $1000, and also some under $1500 (I didn't want to go above $1000 so I'm not sure what they may have in higher ranges). When I went to try on dresses, I felt that there was no pressure from them to buy something. If you do buy, they give you a discount package on alterations and accessories, depending upon how expensive your dress was and how many times you went to the store before purchasing. I bought a bridal sash the same day as I bought my dress and the sash wasn't listed as something I would get a discount on, but we asked and they gave us one anyway. They also gave me a great discount on alterations, because the alterations ended up costing more than they had originally thought (I did not ask for this discount, they just gave it to me). Also, my alterations were done exactly in the timeframe quoted (1 month) and were perfect. My only complaint is that they don't let you schedule fittings on weekends; although I understand why (they're busy with people trying on dresses) it was a challenge for me - coming from Boston after work was kind of a nightmare. Thankfully I only had to come here a few times. I worked with Cathy and she was very sweet.

I came in to shop for my wedding gown with my mom, stepmom, grandmother and aunt - we were loud and I was a bit nervous to have my mom and stepmom both there at the same time. Ashlee was my sales associate and THANK GOD I had her! Not only did she put me at ease, she gave me excellent fashion and style advice (I had no idea what I wanted). I am a larger woman and was scared nothing would fit, Ashlee put about 5 dresses on me, and I looked beautiful in them all! She helped me narrow them down to my top two favorites, and when I put (my) favorite on, I started to cry as did the rest of my ladies in attendance. Not only did I think Ashlee truly listened to me I will work with her to pick out my bridesmaids dresses. I wish I could invite her to my wedding because I feel like I made a friend on such an important day in the wedding process! I highly recommend Elegance by Carbonneau and especially Ashlee!!

Wonderful service!

I'm so thankful I went to Carbonneaus for my dress. I had shared a picture of what I wanted in advance so they had several dresses picked out for me to try on. Well it quickly became apparent that what I thought I wanted, was not for me. Kim was very attentive and tuned into what I liked/didn't like. I had in my mind that I wasn't going to find 'the dress' that day (it was my first day trying on dresses) but Kim found one that I LOVED and when I looked in the mirror, I started crying and knew it was the one. I had several people with me and they were very warm and welcoming with all. We loved the champagne toast and personalized welcome sign!

I also got my bridesmaid dresses from Carbonneau and loved them almost as much as my dress!

They helped me find a tailor and Lynn and Kim were only a text away right through the day I got married and after with preserving the dress and veil. Lynn also owns Mocine Salon & Spa (now St. Cyr by Carbonneau) and Lynn and her team did mine and my wedding parties hair and makeup. Every bride should have someone like Lynn to work with as she will make sure you are so happy with your dress, veil, hair, makeup, etc. and will take such good care of you!

I recently went into Carbonneau to try on wedding dresses for my upcoming wedding this September. I was helped by Cathy who was great to work with - she listened and didnt push me to try on anything I didn't like. I ordered my dress and I really cant say anything about their fittings, etc because I wont have my dress for 4 months from now but the experience of purchasing the dress, trying dress on was all positive. The only thing I can say is the dress I ended up buying I had tried on previously at another boutique and it was $150 more expensive at Carbonneau, but at soon as I mentioned it they matched the price immediately (this is why I gave 'value' at 4). I would definitely recommend this vendor! I will also be back to look at bridesmaid dresses very soon.

The ladies at Elegance were extremely kind and helpful. I showed up to try on dresses at the very end of the day, and they allowed me to stay and try on dresses after closing. I ended up purchasing my dress from them off the rack and I love it. I had sent one of the ladies several e-mails about the dress and she always e-mailed me back very quickly. I did take off one star for professionalism, because my fiance was with me while trying on dress--we're going to be eloping just the two of us, as these ladies knew. One of the ladies did make a comment to him that he shouldn't be there, and it's bad luck for him to see the dress. You never know about someone's situation, if they even have a family or friends to dress shop with. I do not. This did really upset him. Other than that, it was a great experience. I highly recommend shopping for your gown here!

I had a great experience with My Dress 4 Less and would recommend them to anyone. I found their site because I was searching for a specific dress by Mon Cherie. Unfortunately, the dress had been discontinued, but the gals at My Dress 4 Less called the warehouse and found there was one dress left, which happened to be in my size but was in a slightly different color than I had originally wanted. I had a bunch of questions on the color because I wanted to make sure it wasn't too dark, and the ladies there were really helpful. They also helped me double check my measurements to the size chart to ensure the dress sizing was correct. I asked for a discount (since it was the last dress left), and they gave me one! And the best part? Because my dress was coming straight from the warehouse I received it in 10 DAYS, which is unheard of when it comes to buying a wedding dress. With a short time between engagement and wedding (only 4 months), getting my dress quickly saved on a lot of stress.

P.S. Yes, it's a little scary ordering a dress you have not tried on, but there is a risk in ordering ANY bridal gown, whether from a store or online, because 99% of the time it is un-returnable anyway.

Great selection and knowledgeable staff. Accepted walk-ins and appointments. Carry a wide range of dresses for brides, mother of the bride and bridesmaids/proms. On my first dress shopping trip I went to three shops. Elegance was first and by far my favorite! Christine was my sales associate and she was so helpful. She didn't try to push anything on my and really seemed to understand what I was looking for. I would have given 5 stars all around based on my experience with her, however, I had a few issues with another sales associate that temporarily soured my experience. Luckily all was resolved upon speaking with Lynn, the owner. She was very understanding and sympathetic and appreciative of my feedback. In the end, I bought my gown there and had all 5 of my bridesmaids get their dresses there as well. It was a great experience and I highly recommend this store to any bride!

Carbonneau's is a really good for looking for a dress. I also ordered the bridesmaids dresses and they accommodated all of the ladies (7, including junior bridesmaid). Oddly enough, I was also able to get my shoes there as well (be sure to order in advance though, if the shoe is not in their current stock). All of the staff are very professional and help make you beautiful as a bride! I highly recommend them, stop by or call to check to see when they are the least busy or call to set an appointment, that way you are guaranteed attention from a staff person. I was very happy with my dress. It was Maggie Sottero's Sara. I also got a great price in comparison of site's cost for dress.

I very much enjoyed the experience of finding and buying my dress at Carbonneau's! They had a wide selection, even for a plus sized bridal girl, at very affordable prices that looked and felt amazing. Found the perfect dress!

I loved this bridal shop! It was the only one in the area that had the dress I was searching for, and also had a great dress selection. They were very accommodating and helpful while I was dress shopping and truly made my experience fantastic. I also got some of my accessories and shoes from the bridal shop as well and loved those too. The only issue I had was with their phone system, I wasn’t notified right away when my dress came in but I think that was just miscommunication. The woman that does alterations there is amazing and did a wonderful job on my dress but she’s only there a couple days a week.

I ended up getting both bridesmaids dresses and my own wedding gown at Carbonneau's, and both turned out beautifully. Kyla was so helpful in assisting me to pick out a dress and color that would be flattering for all my bridesmaids. Everything came in on time and in the right size. Lynne even went out of her way to convince the manufacturer to make the veil I wanted in a special length. My dress was a bit more complicated - I'm quite petite, so it took an immense amount of alterations to get it to fit properly... like 4 or 5 fittings. We had hoped to avoid this by ordering the dress with a custom hem-to-hollow measurement, but those measurements were still an inch or two off (not sure if this was the fault of the shop or the manufacturer) and so we had to take off the whole bottom lace piece and reattach it. This ended up being quite expensive, which we were not expecting. My mother in particular was not at all pleased, and went back and forth with Lynne about it for quite a while. To Lynne's credit, she handled the situation as well as she could have (my mother can be a very tough customer) and ended up renegotiating the price for us. Ultimately, the dress turned out beautifully, and I was so happy with it on my wedding day.

I ordered my wedding gown through the store's website, since it was cheaper than any store in my state. The dress came about a week later than I expected, but it was intact and packed in the box well.
I was able to get a free veil with my order but was thankful I had chosen to use my sister's as the veil was such poor quality I don't even feel right selling it to someone. It was valued at $90 and looked worth maybe $20.
The people I talked to on the phone were nice enough but not very professional for the amount of money I was spending. All in all, I'd say I was glad I got a good price for my dress, but I'd advise people to buy their wedding gown in a store.

The stylists at Elegance by Carbonneau did a great job at helping me pick out THE dress! I appreciated that I did not feel pressured on choosing a dress or time and their patience was excellent.

They have a wide selection, are much cheaper than bridal stores, and have fast shipping. Unfortunately, you can't return anything you buy, so make sure you really like what you buy before you buy it!

I bought my wedding dress from Elegance by Carbonneau and was very happy with it. They managed to do my final fitting just 3 days before the wedding (just needed to adjust the cups I added). However, their alterations were somewhat expensive and every time I called to schedule a fitting I was told that they do not do fittings on Saturdays, which was an issue for me as I live 6 hours away and work full time, which I told them when I purchased my dress. On every occasion, I was able to do a Saturday fitting once they consulted a manager.

I had a great experience with the people at Elegance. They helped me find my dream dress!! They were very thorough with making sure my dress was perfect when it came in (they actually sent it back to the designer the first time because it wasnt perfect). My only complaint would be that you dont always get to see or talk to the same person.

I had purchased my bridal and bridesmaid dresses from Elegance by Carbonneau. I think that the store is beautiful, bridal area very nice, beautiful gown choices and I like that they can order gowns that they don't have in their store from the designers that they carry. I also ordered my bridesmaids from there as well. My gown arrived on time, as did the bridesmaids dresses, and they were great about calling me to let me know when the gown and dresses would arrive and when they came in.
The only thing I wasn't too happy about was I thought my sales associate was kind of on the obnoxious side. I felt a bit pushed into things at a couple of moments, but I was "inlove" with the gown and dresses I went with it.
At my bridal appoinment, one of my girlfriends was looking at the shoes, which is located near the desk and the office, and she saw my sales girl dancing provocatively and chanting how she sold a gown. I thought that was unprofessional.
Luckily the tall blonde was not around when I came in for my bridesmaids.

I found my perfect dress the 1st time in and the staff was very attentive. When I brought some of my BMs, flower girls, MOH and mother of the groom back the service was a bit different and with a big crowd it was a bit tougher. The staff was a bit short because the little ones were moving about and the store was full of prom dress buyers. All the dresses came in in a timely matter and were beautiful! My MOH dress came in with some whites marks on it and they said they would clean it , but they didn't! My dress came in with one of the corset strings not sewn at the end and they said the alterations person would take care of it, but at the time they didn't have one so they out sourced and I paid for it to be fixed. Then when it came time for my dress to be steamed before the wedding they were going to charge me because we used their recommended alterations company and not them. So I paid $85 to have it steamed at an outside facility. My bridal party and I had spent a few thousand dollars at this store, so I felt they could have done better on the follow up services.

I found my dress somewhere else but bought my dress here, along with my veil. My mother, grandmother, and all of my bridesmaids also bought their dresses here. It was cheaper here than other places and that is why I bought it here.
They were nice, but do not go on a Saturday as they were extremely busy and was hard to get the service and attention wanted as a bride.

My Maid of Honor's and Flower Girl's gowns were purchased through this store and other than picking them out, I was not very involved in the purchasing routine. The gowns were beautiful, exactly as pictured and I was definitely happy. A nice bonus of my saleswoman was that she cut a swatch of fabric for me to keep in order to match things to it. Thanks!

Not the best experience

Yes I did buy my dress there, but I felt pressured the whole time. Which down the road made me almost buy a different dress. Also, my consultant had to do with most of this which was Sheri. Some of my bridesmaids got their bridesmaids dresses that day in November....... Yes that day..... And she didn't place the order for two months so we didnt get the bridesmaids dresses until 3 weeks prior to the wedding. Like why?! Which caused many heart attacks, clearly. On the other hand, I went back there for a friend of mines wedding I'm in, and she had an amazing experience with a different consultant.

I eventually ended up with my dream dress... ordered one dress, when I went to pick it up when they called saying it was ready... it was not the dress I had originally ordered. They claim they ordered it correctly and the dress brand shipped the store the incorrect dress. So the owner had offered me to pick out another dress that day and order it, or they could re-order the dress I originally wanted. I picked out a new one which was a much better option for me anyways. I was never offered a discount for the mix-up in store. Yes I had the discount card when I said yes the first day, but no other discounts for the mix-up for giving me the wrong dress...not the greatest customer service if you want a good review. Not to mention the employees only seemed to care about dress up themselves rather than their customers first. But thank for a great second dress! I couldn’t have been happier with my decision! :)

Although I absolutely loved my wedding dress purchased here the company itself scams everyone. Alot of my bridemaids took their dresses else where for alterations or they would have all spent atleast $150 each as the ones who went here did (and no they do not tell you this price until you go to pick up your dress). At first they say it costs $50 then when you go to pick it up they say "No that was only the down payment for the alterations". They also will tell everyone to order atleast 1 size up (this way they are guaranteed to make some money with their alterations.) Also a few of my bridesmaids clasp on top of the zipper of their dress completely broke up before we even got to the venue. The quality of alterations is very cheap and extremely expensive. If you do decide to get your dress here just do not have it altered here-it will cost more than the dress. Also, my $80 earings purchased from here broke not even half way through my wedding.

I recently had a scheduled bridal appointment at Carbonneau s, I had some family members with me. I was working with Ashle, started off ok, but that quickly changed.
The store is beautiful, dresses are beautiful and priced affordably. My mom wasn t happy with our sales help, as she was kind of on the loud side. She did bring me some good choices, but I felt as if she was only giving me HER opinions and not completely listening to me.
I didn t end purchasing my gown that day or with Carbonneau s at all. I was surprised to see that on the business card that Ashle gave me that it said she was the Sales Manager. She wasn t as easy to work with as what another associate was like working with another bride to be.

I had made an appointment for my bridal gown AND bridesmaids. We were told we had 2 hours for both. When we arrived we checked in at the desk were it seemed that the blonde women behind the counter was all about the her personal lfe. ( found out later that it was the owner) I was given Dee as a consultant she didnt seem very up to date with her fashion choices so we all were put back about how she would be able to help me. I am very much into fashion. The appointment started out ok then Dee seemed to get destarcted. My girls ended up pulling gowns for me and another consultant that was with another bride made a suggestion and that gown ended up top on my list. As my mother and I grew more annoyed we moved onto bridesmaids. As we started my consultant really was distant. She dropped us for someone she worked with the day befrore. We didnt even try on any more gowns. We all were unhappy and our day was uneventful. I ended up ordering the gown the other consultant suggested at another shop who gave us better service. If you do go in you should see if the consultant that suggested the gown is available. I never caught her name but she had short dark hair and seemed very professional and helpful.

I would give them 0 stars if I could......What a HORRIBLE place! The bridesmaids dresses come in only 3 weeks before the wedding and they kept making excuses about a grace period for them coming in. I was told they would come in 4 weeks earlier but they did not and we all waited for them. So every girl had to scramble to get them altered. Then the flower girls dress was the wrong color and they blamed it on ME! They said since it was not in the notes they took then it must have been my fault. Hey, I am not the salesperson taking down the information. YOU are! Then they had the nerve to say I could buy a colored sash to try to fix it, yet I had to pay for that. They made no attempt to correct the situation and I am still waiting for a phone call from the store owner.....one week later. I will never use them again. They are unprofessional and pass blame off on their customers! Do not use them!

Hi - I had just received my purchase which is a necklace and a bracket from Wedding Factory Direct. The items were lovely but unfortunately, the clasp on the necklace is stuck and I am unable to put it apart in order to wear it. Have sent an email to them but the only advise I received was to pull it firmly. Unfortunately, pulling it firmly doesn't help at all. I have tried for hours and have people helping me to pull the clasp apart but without any success. So, for now, I could only admire it. Very disappointed. Hopefully, the customer service will advice me on the next step to replace it.

I couldn't believe how ugly I felt when I left there inside and out!!! The attendants helping me find things made me feel like they had better things to do. I have a pretty tight budget but I didn't hvae to be treated like I do! For such a special occasion I can't believe how sad the experience left me. I'll be taking my small budget elsewhere.

I walked out if this store and cried my experience there was so bad. I wanted a simple wedding dress and the woman who was helping me kept telling me I did not look like a bride and that the dresses I choose needed more bling! Then when I did try on a more elaborate dress that my whole family loved and I felt wonderful in, she told me that it was not flattering and that I would need something to "help me out". She insisted on me getting more expensive dresses and my sweet mother got very angry and upset with the attitude in which I was treated.
Sales help kept talking about how she loves Bling! Bling! and about her own upcoming wedding. This was to be about ME! Not her.

Awful!!! Horrible customer service. While the dress selection is beautiful, after buying my dress I was treated horribly. I would never go back there and warn brides away from going there if they are looking for any kind of special treatment as a bride. I met problem after problem leading right up until the week of my wedding and was given attitude when I expressed that I was displeased with something. For the money you pay for a wedding dress you are better served going elsewhere in my opinion - not worth the stress!!

This has been the worst experience i have ever had with a bridesmaid dress. The staff ordered what was written on their card, the card they themselves write and do not verify with the customer or have the customer sign. I was fitted for a friends wedding back in May 09, the dress was just mailed to me and its 3 inches too small in the bust. However the odd thing is since the fitting i have lost 11 lbs, gone down a band size in my bra and still the dress does not fit... i went to a REAL Alfred Angelo yesterday and the seamstress took one look at me and said it should have been a W size, something i knew i had tried on, however the employee wrote the size without the W, which they are refusing to admit and are not willing to work with me at all. The alterations will be the same price as buying a dress but the 10-12week turnaround down not allow for me to order a new dress. Thanks for being such a classy joint and standing by your employees not the customer, without whom you wouldn't be able to employ those hard working associates. I would recommend working directly with the designer label not an independent dealer, the price difference is worth the guarantee of good customer service.

The shop looks like a discount bargin warehouse. The next issue I had was when I walked to the counter to check in the staff were all talking about their personal life and ignored me. I waited a good 5 min before they spoke to me even though they all saw me. I was then told that I could start looking through the gowns and a sales person would be over shortly. 20 min later a sales person arrived at my dressing room unhappy that I already started trying on. They gave me no direction and it was obvious that they wanted to finish the conversation they were having before working with me. I complained but I dont think it did any good seeing how the staff on was a manager and the owner which I found out later on. After all the rude behavior the owner had the nerve to ask me if I found anything I liked and if I wanted to order. WORST bridal appointment ever! Would never recommend to anyone!

After being coerced into buying a dress that was much larger than need be we were assured that the dress was going to fit and if anything that it would be too small. Once the dress arrived my maid of honor could put the dress on and off with out having to undo the zipper. We Made a call to see if we could exchange the dress for a smaller size, not a return and we still needed to order five more dresses. There was no room for negotiating, whatsoever. The sales women and even managers we spoke with were not helpful nor willing to work with us in the least. Needless to say we went elswhere for dresses and Elegance By Carbonneau lost out on a pretty large sale.
