  Extremely Talented

  Stephen is so talented and knows how to capture exactly what he is looking for. He wasted no time making everything look the way it should and jumps right in to get the desired look. He is helpful with telling you how to pose and what shots look the best. We used Carbone Photo Co. for our engagement and wedding pictures and we will return for family photos one day!

  We highly recommend!!

  Stephen was amazing! We hired Stephen to take pictures at our wedding reception. The pictures are full of personality! The guests commented afterward on how much they loved his personality. He was very professional and the pictures were incredible! We would highly recommend Stephen!

  We recently used Carbone Photo Co. for our wedding and couldn't be happier with the results. From the start, Stephen was incredibly professional and listened to what we wanted for our special day. On the day of the wedding, Stephen arrived on time (early even) and captured every special moment beautifully. His attention to detail was impeccable and he went above and beyond to make sure we had the most perfect day and photos. The final product was amazing, the pictures were so beautiful and captured the spirit of our wedding perfectly. We are extremely happy with the quality of the pictures and the service provided by Stephen.   The wedding photographer you need!

  5 stars is not enough! Stephen is a 10 star photographer and no wonder he was voted Richmond Bride Magazine's A-List Best Day of Wedding Photographer. Stephen did my engagement and wedding photos, and they are STUNNING. The amount of detail that Stephen focuses is absolutely amazing. He is the wedding photographer of your dreams, and he was incredible to work with. We can't wait to see the rest of the gallery come in!

  Absolutely amazing!

  My husband and I were actually against having a photographer because we hated the super posed and unnatural looking pictures we had seen from other people. However, Stephen's photos were so natural and candid. We are so happy that my mom talked us into hiring Carbone Photo Co. They were super responsive throughout the whole process and made sure we got all the shots we wanted.

  The absolute BEST photographers around!

  I honestly never write reviews for anything, but I had to share just how AMAZING Stephen and Jennie Carbone are! We were lucky enough to have them photograph and video our wedding on October 30. I could tell from the first email exchange that these were our type of people. They were so warm and helpful. Stephen even sat down with me and we worked to hash out a detailed wedding timeline. Honestly, they were the calm in the sea of chaos that goes into planning a wedding! You can tell that they are knowledgeable and absolutely love what they do! Stephen and Jennie helped us pose naturally and feel comfortable in front of the camera. My husband, who hates pictures, even commented after the day was over about how much he enjoyed having Stephen and Jennie shoot our wedding. They have a way of taking two awkward picture-takers and transforming them into models. Without a doubt, whenever we are in need of major life moments to be photographed, Stephen and Jennie will be the ones we hire!

  Gorgeous photos for all your Moody vibes

  Cannot say enough kind things about Stephen. Before our engagement photos, my husband and I were a self-professed couple who don’t love to take pictures. Within minutes of our session he had us laughing and posing and made it SO easy and such a quick session— no awkward prom poses here!! One of the things I was wary about with photographers was that many wedding sessions are ultra bright and washed out looking, so I was so thrilled when I saw he shared my love of a darker, moody vibe- perfect for our fall wedding. 🖤🧡

  Perfection with so much laughter

  My husband and I used them for our engagement and wedding photos. We are horrible and so awkward when it comes to taking pictures. They made it so much fun and easy. My day would not have been as perfect if it were not for them!!!

  Greatest photography business!

  Stephen was so awesome to work with! He did such an amazing job on our engagement pictures, made my fiancé and I feel like some natural models and we are definitely not! Everything about the process was so smooth, he helped us pick the perfect location and he was so flexible with dates and times for our shoot. I can’t wait for Stephen to be able to capture more of our life milestones!

  I never write a review on anything ever before, but have to share my luck to everyone this time. We are so lucky to got Stephen Carbone for our wedding. He is the best photographer. First, the photos come out amazing, everyone love how the photos come out. The color in the photos that he edited make me and my husband pop up. Second, We’re not a photo couple, we don’t know how to posed and feel so awkward infront of the camera but Stephen told us how to posed and make things seem easier. He get me and my husband ice tea when we take a break even that isn’t his job 😅. He made us feel like he is a family member. Overall I just wanna tell everyone that the wedding day gone by so fast, you might not even remember what was happened cuz too much stressful. But the photographer gonna help you save all the moments so u can look at your wedding again again and forever. That’s why you need to choose a good photographer and Carbone photos is the one ☝️.

He suggested timing to help get the perfect shots and was very quick with providing a sneak peak/finished gallery. Through the entire process he has been prompt in responding to emails with any questions we think about. We booked a package deal and I can’t wait to continue working with such a professional business.

  The Perfect Choice

  When my husband and I began looking for a photographer we wanted a photographer that made us feel comfortable while also still producing great images! When we first met with Stephen my husband started off with a joke about having a nightmare before Christmas themed wedding and Stephen played along without skipping a beat- much to my husbands delight. They did our engagement photos, our wedding photos, and even traveled the weekend before our wedding to do elopement photos so my husbands mom could be there when we got married (she couldn’t attend our wedding due to health issues the travel was going to be too difficult) and we could have professional photos with her in them. We were always incredibly excited to get our photos back, and we loved the results every time! Bonus- we loved being able to incorporate our dogs into photos, and we always had such a quick response to any of the many questions I asked! We will definitely be using them again in the future!

  Carbone Photo has a way of capturing the personalities of their subjects perfectly! They take the time to get to know their customer. They shot my daughters wedding back in October, it was a drizzly, rainy day, the photos came out beautifully! I highly recommend Carbone Photo LLC!

From the start, Stephen was so easy to talk to and he made you feel so comfortable while taking pictures. My husband and I, couldn’t be more thankful with the outcome of our pictures and our wedding pictures turned out breathtaking. They even did a video for our wedding and it was AMAZING.   I can not explain how amazing Stephen and Jennie have been through our WHOLE wedding process. In Sept 2019 we met with Stephen to see if he was a match for us and he was! He gave us so many tips and helped us search for vendors after having to postpone and then again after having to move our venue. He was there every step of the way and made sure we knew that! We were nervous about getting photos done but he made us feel comfortable while he took the photos. Our first engagement photos turned out wonderful. Due to COVID Carbone Photo also did some front porch photos for us for ‘change the dates’, which of course turned out great! Stephen has been quick to get us the edited photos on the timeline that he says he will!
  For our wedding, he arrived on time (actually earlier than he said, which is what every bride needs from her vendors on the big day!!!) After setting up and scoping out the venue, he was ready to start shooting exactly when he said he would. Throughout the day he did a fabulous job of being exactly where he needed to be to take photos but not in the way! We got a sample the next day and more within a week. We cannot wait to see the rest!

  From the moment we first had contact with Stephen, we knew he would be the perfect photographer for our family. We had researched his work online and after seeing his Instagram and website pictures, we completely fell in love with his natural style of photography and ability to capture the beauty in a moment. While directing our family, which isn’t easy to do with two littles, Stephen was absolutely brilliant from start to finish.   Stephen captured our wedding day beautifully. He went above and beyond! Not only did he provide portraits all couples dream of, but within them he captured our personalities too.
