Cara was such a joy to work with. She braved sub-zero temperatures in January for our engagement shoot, kept us organized throughout the planning process, and was a calming presence when the guest shuttle didn't arrive, delaying our ceremony for nearly an hour. She was open to all of our photo ideas, and kept us on schedule the entire day. Her extensive timeline was so well prepared it put us all to ease with how the day would go.
Cara made two camera shy individuals feel relaxed the entire day. She can take any landscape and create amazing photos. Cara laughed with us and our wedding party the entire day, and we all loved having her with us. She was open to any photo idea that we had, and allowed us to open up in our own way, and never forced us into positions that we weren't comfortable with. -

We were so lucky to have Cara be our wedding photographer! From our very first interaction leading up to our wedding, Cara helped us achieve the wedding of our dreams. She made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera for our engagement photo session - and we were wowed by the results. Her communication was clear, she was very professional, and she is such a talented photographer. Our wedding day was a magical whirlwind of a day, but Cara's presence made me feel calm and collected! The photos she captured were STUNNING and we couldn't be happier with the results. Look no further for a wedding photographer - Cara is the whole package! Thanks Cara!!! -

Pick cara!
Cara was AMAZING from scheduling session's, listening to my vision, flexibility during the sessions, and showing up BIG TIME on my wedding day. She is so easy to work with, gets your pictures back in amazing time, makes you feel comfortable, and of course takes beautiful pictures that perfectly captures your day. Cara was the exact photographer I was looking for to capture our special wedding moments. I fell in love with the style of her photos first, then after reaching out I appreciated her professionalism, how organized & timely her whole process was, and vibed with her grounded & chill personality (which is exactly what I wanted from my vendors on wedding day!) Cara has it together, she made us feel comfortable & had great cues for the perfect shots & candids, and we were thrilled with the outcome of both our engagement shoot & wedding day photos. If you vibe with her editing style, then booking Cara is a no brainer! -

Cara Marie Photography Co. took pictures for my fiancé and I on a snowy day in November. It was pretty chilly and the snow *coming down* but the pictures all turned out amazing. Cara had so many great ideas of different styles for the pictures and also let us do anything we wanted as well. There was never a dull moment in our hour and a half together, that’s for sure! Cara also suggested the location. It is a place we would have never chosen on our own but turned out to be perfect. The cherry on top, you ask? She provided us with soooo many photos that we will cherish for years to come! We can’t thank you enough, Cara! -

Gosh. Cara has been our photographer from when my husband surprised me with a ring all the way to putting that ring on my finger. She goes above and beyond for her clients by being reliable, kind, and attentive. She's professional and so talented. I had no idea what I was doing when planning my wedding and she became my little wedding planner. You can tell how happy she is to help and very knowledgeable about weddings which is another benefit.
When you hire Cara, plan on becoming her friend. She will meet with you at any local coffee shop to chat about your wedding day. She collects all the details, even all the names of the family and friends who are closest to you, so that she is prepared for a smooth and seamless day. The bride doesn't have to worry about a thing. My husband and I had a small, nontraditional wedding in February and she was very accommodating to our weird plans. Cara also stays in contact with the venue and is prepared for any weather.
Aside from weddings, she is amazing at any other session that you hire her for- newborn, couples, engagement. Cara makes the sessions fun and comfortable. No need to worry about positioning or how to smile the right way. She directs you the whole time and it's so easy to follow. However, she is totally open to you enjoying your time in front of the camera and flowing through the moves yourselves because those photos come out beautiful. Cara is perfect at capturing the right lighting from the sun, too. Her editing style is stunning and bright.
Cara's professionalism really shows. She's very quick to answering your emails, Instagram messages, and texts. She will send you your photos on an online gallery format where you can download and order prints. Looking at my gallery was like reliving my wedding day.
Hire Cara. You will not regret it. She is well worth the money. And if you are planning to elope or travel, she would love to join!

Working with Cara is always an amazing experience, and this last session we had her come to our newly renovated home for our 5-year wedding anniversary to document a little glimpse into our lives. These images are not only beautiful but so meaningful to us, and we cannot thank her enough! The only problem now is how we will ever choose which images to print! -
