Fabulous is a start...

Heather was wonderful to work with. My first call was over an hour, felt like I was talking to an old friend not someone I had never met. She entertained a little hike (and a little snake) for our engagement photos, came to photograph my bridal shower and my wedding well she was amazing and her 2nd shooter was just as great! I cannot wait to see the pictures!

My first call to Heather inquiring about her work, I knew right away that she was the one to be part of our special day. She was very open and truly listened to our wants and needs for a small intimate wedding. On our wedding day, the forecast was a Nor’easter with hurricane Florence not far behind which was creating high winds and flooding. Heather didn’t give a thought of canceling. In fact, she came earlier than anticipated and stayed later than expected, despite the weather conditions. She captured the personality of everyone there from our 3 year old flower girl to our 95 year old grandmother. The pictures are stunning and you could not tell there had been torrential rain, wind and flooding all day. Heather blended in with our day and guests as she quietly worked her magic to get all the right shots despite all the chaos of last minute changes due to the weather. With fun and candid photos being our goal, she didn’t let us miss out on more formal intimate images that we are so thankful we have now. Almost immediately she sent John and I sneak previews which were beyond our wildest dreams of what she had captured in the moment. There are so many to pick from that we are having a difficult time making decisions. We want them all! We would highly recommend Heather for any and all events. John and I can say beyond a doubt that Heather’s passion in her work is unique, heartwarming and truly are “Captures from the Heart”!

We have used Captures From the Heart Photography for our engagement and wedding photos and now that we wanted pictures of our children there was no question who we would call! Heather was an amazing photographer! She was quick to respond to emails and phone calls! She answered all questions and concerns very honestly and everything she said she would do she did! She spent almost all day with us and even helped us with some of our makeup because we didn't get it professionally done! She took every picture everyone asked her to take and a ton more! We just got done looking over the 1,063 photos she took and not one of them is a bad photo! She put her own twist on some of the photos and I couldn't have even thought to do what she did! She was very patient with my crazy family and knew how to deal them! She was very quick to send out the proofs of our photos, it took less than three weeks and nothing at all needs to be edited! She is truly amazing and I cant thank her enough! The best part of all we were crunched for time and she knew exactly what to do in a 10 minute period to get amazing photos! I highly suggest Heather and will use her for many more photo ops to come! I cant thank her enough for everything!

Heather did an amazing job capturing the special moments of our wedding!! She arrived early to capture my beautiful bride getting ready for make-up and hair and stated til the fireworks finale. She was VERY creative in the pics she took and we were surprised by some of the pics we were unaware of that she took with the gown, wedding rings and my bride's shoes. Heather's pics captured the story of our wedding day and you will be very pleased you chose her!!!

Heather was AMAZING to work with for my wedding on June 10th! She adjusted her schedule to fit timing changes that came up the day of, and was with us throughout the whole day. She and her second photographer even helped us getting ready and made sure that all of the shots that I wanted were taken, even with time constraints that arose. I would recommend her to ANYBODY who is looking for a wonderful photographer! P.S. she even made sure my hair was fixed when it came out a little at the reception. Talk about amazing!

Heather was amazing (and so was Ann!)! She provides an amazing service and product for a great price. She was willing to work with us to create a package that was right for us and fit into our budget and exceeded our expectations. I will recommend her to anyone who asks about a photographer. My experience with Captures of the Heart photography was amazing! Everyone loved our photos. We received them back within 2 weeks of the wedding. We never felt like a camera was in our face, or that we even had a photographer present because she allowed us to enjoy the moment and captured every moment spontaneously without us even realizing we were being photographed. She captured in the moment photographs of our guests we can treasure forever. We hope she is still doing photography when are children are married,!

We had so much fun with Heather! Our pictures were beautiful and prices were great! We loved the flexibility of being able to utilize different locations, outfits, and props for our engagement session. She also was very creative in her utilization of the natural landscapes of our venue. Heather was extremely professional throughout the planning process. She was also affordable and flexible compared to many other photographers we looked into! She was very responsive and got in touch with us personally, often within the same day, whenever we reached out to her, which was truly appreciated! During the week before the wedding, she called to review the timeline for our wedding day and answer any questions we had. On the actual day of the wedding, she arrived promptly and had plenty of ideas for photos. She did a great job composing shots and thinking of some creative pictures for us to take on the beach! We also got the photos back for our wedding super quickly, and the proof for our wedding book shortly after that. We would recommend Heather to anyone looking for a quality photographer at an affordable price.

Captures From the Heart Photography were absolutely amazing through out the entire planning process and actual wedding night. Heather was extremely responsive to any questions I had and made the process very smooth. Heather was extremely personable, flexible and time efficient. Since we have a large family, I was concerned about having enough time to get all of our pictures done during cocktail hour. Heather and Ann worked quickly and professionally to make sure I had every single picture. We just received our flash drive of photos, and could not be happier! The editing was incredible and provided us with a variety of photos. Heather captured formal pictures down to the smallest of details that my husband and I will remember forever. Overall, Captures From the Heart was an incredible decision and we would recommend them to anyone in need of a photographer!

When I was looking for a photographer to shoot my wedding I didnt know where to start. Everyone was SO expensive and planning a wedding from another state made it 10x harder. I googled photographers in the area I was getting married and Heather's site came up. The name of the company is what really caught me and I decided to look a little further. I am SO glad I did. Heather was so accommodating, understanding , and flexible. She explained her packages to me in great length and made sure my Husband and I had nothing to worry about . On the day of our wedding , we were caught in the tail of the hurricane and the pictures we truly wanted on thte beach were just not going to happen. Not only did she bring another photographer with her (free of charge) but she drove 3 hours in nothing but rain and wind!! When she arrived I did not give her a list of what I wanted , as I fell short on the photography end of it , but she had me covered !! I trusted everything she had in mind would work out perfectly ( which it did ).. Thank you so much for all you have done for us !!!

Heather from Captures from the Heart Photography was our Photographer for our wedding on May 2, 2015. There is not one thing we would say she could do better, everything was absolutely flawless. We met with her over a year before our wedding to see if she would be the right fit, and for the pricing she offered for the amazing services she offered, she was the obvious choice. She includes so much in her packages that other photographers either don't include at all, or do at a much higher rate. Throughout our wedding planning process, Heather was always very prompt on returning any phone calls or emails, within the same day. She was always very polite, and very professional. Even during our wedding, when obviously we had many stressful things to worry about, Heather made sure to take care of everything on her own. We truly would not recommend any other photographer than Heather from Captures from the Heart Photography. Her work is flawless, and for all of those other photographers out there that try to charge you double or triple what Heather does and says "our work is better, if you pay cheaper you get cheaper quality"...it's NOT true. You DON'T have to pay a few thousand dollars for photography work, when you have someone as reasonable as Heather on pricing and amazing picture quality.

Excellent photographer! Her photography packages are unlike I have seen before at her prices and it is worth every penny; if not more. She is doing all pictures for our wedding and this was our engagement photos. Pictures came out amazing and I cannot wait until my wedding day to have her taking our pictures again. I struggle for a couple of months to find a reasonably priced photographer for my October wedding. None of the photographers that friends recommended fit into my budget, I started googling photographers and came across Captures From The Heart. I then looked at their facebook page and the website for them. I was amazed at how this company would fit into my budget. I then emailed Heather (the owner) and we began chatting about where my wedding would be and what I had in mind, this company is based out of delaware and she drove all the way to Harford County just to photograph my wedding. She was with me from 11am until 11pm as we were walking out of the reception to go home. Captures From The Heart Photography did an AMAZING job. From the pictures of the bridesmaids and myself getting ready, to the bridesmaids car stuck in the mud and the entire wedding was photographed. The best part is that all of my photographs were put onto a flashdrive and I can print whatever I would like!!!!! Heather and her assistant even stayed with my husband and I at the church when the limo forgot to come and pick us up to take us to our reception!!!! Not only is she very efficient, she also has a very good eye for taking good pictures. If you are in the market for a photographer check out her facebook (Captures From the Heart Photography) she is always posting pictures from shoots that she does.. I would definately recommend her to anyone!!!!!!!!

Heather is just wonderful at her profession! She managed to capture our entire wedding day with beautiful photographs! We absolutely loved working with her. Heather was very proffesional, on time and the price is great! As the Bride, ofcourse I was running late to start taking photos while I got ready and Heather waited in the car while I got to the location. She took so many beutiful pictures and captured everything.

I would recommend Heather as your photographer anytime...I know I would hire her again in a heart beat!! Thank you so much Heather for being there for me on the most important day of my life!

Very punctual, flexible, very nice, and full of ideas and wonderful creativity. every picture and every edit are wonderful. Love the time flexibility since most people charge you for only a few hours i was floored that she spent entire day with us and it was included in the package. There was no pressure to buy anything from her site or get extra things added on. From the first phone call it was all about my day. We cannot say enough good things about Heather, her photography and the extraordinary value we received. Her services and the quality of photographs FAR exceeded the cost. She reviews and edits EVERY photograph (of which there were 2,000 over our weekend wedding event). More importanly, she becomes part of the family while she is there. She is able to get wonderful "formal" photos, but perhaps her greatest strength is really capturing the "feeling" of the event. When we look at our pictures, we really feel like we are reliving the wonderful feelings of the weekend. We would recommend Heather WITHOUT hesitation.

I would highly recommend Captures from the Heart to anyone who is looking for a photographer who will go above and beyond. I have to say we had an amazing experience using Captures From The Heart Photography. From the first pictures, to the end of the night, Heather captured all the most memorable moments. Posed and candid photos alike, each had its own story and created a pieced-together story of my nieces most special day.
Heather and her assistant were ready to capture the greatest moments and the pictures were unique and had many options for color effects. I am ecstatic about the quality and quantity of photo's we received and would recommend Captures From The Heart over and over again.

Heather was a god send for me. I was frantic when the photographer backed out of my daughter's wedding last minute. I did a lot of research trying to find another Photographer that would not break the budget. I found Heather on line and was sold not only by what she charged, but by all the comments that were made about her service. Heather was more than flexible with her time, she spent from 12:00 to 11:00pm with us!! Unheard of! She has fantastic photographic ideas as well as doing the "normal" wedding pictures. I could go on and on. My daughter and I loved her so, we recommended her to my sister in law who is getting married this July.

I booked captures of the Heart to follow us around and take pictures of us out on the town for a bachelorette party. Heather was so accommodating, and really took great pictures! She captured the whole night, and these pictures are amazing memories of a great night! She took so many pictures, so I have so many to choose from to make an album for the bride. Heather did a fantastic job photographing our family photos on the beach. She was extremely flexible and professional. The professionalism and patience of Heather from Captures From the Heart Photography was great! We had a photo shoot of my son for his upcoming 1st birthday and she made him feel at ease and fun for him. She was able to shoot for at least 2 hours before he got tired, but the pictures she took were beautiful! Heather at Captures from the Heart Photography was excellent to work with! So nice and professional. It was so hot and humid outside when we did our engagement photoshoot, and she still didn't mind to continue taking our pictures in that heat. Gave us direction on the different poses that we could do but also gave us the freedom to incorporate all the things that we wanted as well. Very creative in coming up with the different scenes as well and fun to work with. Fast service being as though we got our images the following week of our shoot. We love them!

I would highly recommend Captures from the Heart for your wedding photography! I spent so much time researching photographers in this area for weddings and Heather was by far the best combination of value and affordability. On the day of our wedding, Heather and her assistant arrived on time and stayed with us all day. They were friendly, organized, and very professional. Heather has a good eye and helped us to figure out best locations, poses, and shots to make the most of our photos, though she also balanced this with wanting to know our opinions and wishes. During our ceremony and reception, Heather and her assistant were there but unassuming so they never distracted from what was going on. We had our photos in less than a month after our wedding and have so many wonderful pictures to choose from. We can't thank Heather enough for documenting our wedding day in such a beautiful way!

My boudoir photos turned out amazing! It was really fun to work with Heather, she will do whatever you feel comfortable with. It is awesome that she doesn't give you a time limit and will take unlimited amount of shots! It was very easy to get in touch with her before and after the photo shoot. I will defenitely be using her again for other photography opportunities! If I didn't already have a photographer for our wedding- I would have went with Captures from the Heart!

From my first conversation with Heather, I had a good feeling she was going to be great and my intuition was correct! She took the time to explain her different packages and options to me and we came to an agreement (and her fare is very reasonable). On wedding day her and Ann (we booked a 2nd shooter as an add-on) showed up to my house right on time and dove right in to the “getting ready” pictures with me and my bridesmaids. Then they met us at the venue (Delaware Museum of Natural History). The day was a blur from there! Her and Ann helped direct our family, wedding party, and us on the formal photographs as most of us had never really been on a “photo shoot.” In less than a month, Heather had 980 beautiful pictures edited and ready to go for us. They’re amazing!! She’s so creative with the shots and got a lot of good ones I didn’t even know were taken. We wanted to make sure there were photos of the guests having a good time, shots of the venue, and all the other cutesy wedding stuff and that’s what we got. I also want to note that I loved how Heather and Ann were there at the wedding, but they weren’t in everyone’s faces clicking photos. Often times I see weddings where the photographer is a bit distracting, especially during the ceremony, but they were stealthy yet effective! Overall we're so happy with how the photos turned out and I'm thankful to have those memories captured forever!

Heather was fantastic. She arrived first thing at the hotel where the bridesmaids, mothers, and I were getting ready and captured every moment! She was the in the background and was not intrusive, which is something I was looking for in a photographer. During the ceremony, which was in a church, Heather and her staff captured every important moment and then some, without me even seeing them. The family and group pictures were to the point, and she demonstrated that she knew what she was doing. The reception pictures were great and varied from group shots to candid photos. Heather was very flexible to work with, especially since we live in the Baltimore area and our wedding was in Delaware. We just got our photos back and they are AMAZING! She provided us with many color options (black and white, sepia, some with different contrasting) They are gorgeous! I am very happy we chose Heather and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a laid-back but excellent photographer!

Heather is truly a fantastic person to work with. She is very professional, courteous, attentive, prompt, caring and really captures beautiful photographs. I would certainly recommend Heather to others for wedding photography. The day we got married was overcast, cloudy and threatened to rain all day. She made it look as if it was a gorgeous sunny day in the pictures. However, I would recommend to not always use the flash in dimmer rooms. We had a band and it was darker in the ballroom and all of our photographs turned out very bright. I would have liked a few to capture the ambiance of the dance floor. But, with that being said, I am not a photographer. And I do not know what is best for that sort of lighting as she does. I do know that she produced a fabulous batch of pictures for us to remember our day by.

As someone who has consistently HATED having their picture taken their entire life, it should come as no surprise that the idea of having someone following my fiancé and I around all day with a camera freaked me out a bit. However, when I met Heather and looked over everything she had to offer I knew I was in good hands. She makes you feel at ease and consults you at every point possible to make sure that you're getting exactly what you want (without overwhelming you). Our photos are absolutely stunning, and we couldn't be happier with everything. Thank you Heather for helping us create memories we'll be able to have for the rest of our lives!

I wish I had given myself more time for pictures on my wedding day. I wish I had more pictures prior to the event with my bridesmaids. As well as hadn't been so rushed between the wedding and recptions. I highly recommend creating a list of pictures you would like to have taken to make sure you don't forget anything.
