Where do I even begin? Planning a wedding is hard, looking for vendors is hard, picking the perfect vendor is HARD. Choosing Captured Beauty was EASY! Dawn is beyond professional, listens to your wants & needs, she is DIRECT, never over steps and always makes sure YOU are happy.
I had the pleasure of working with Dawn for my engagement photos, Bridal shower and Wedding. What stood out to me about Dawn is her ability to make sure every picture she takes is perfect. She makes sure the slightest hair isn’t out of place, the lighting doesn’t mess the picture, attention to detail, etc! She takes her time! She CARES! She puts her heart and soul into her work and it’s very clear in her pictures. Her team/staff are amazing! You don’t have to lift a finger for anything. They communicate well and she also communicates well with you. Her emails/texts are very well descriptive and informative and I never felt like I didn’t know what was going on.
Did I mention she spoils you!? Upon booking Dawn, she sent us a beautiful custom box with a pack of coffee from her and her husbands favorite place. She sent us a gift card for dinner and right before the wedding she sent a FABULOUS white clutch purse with my new last name on it. She is the best!
Dawn, we can’t thank you enough for everything you have done for us over the last 22 months. Every single picture takes my breath away. I am blessed to have met you, got to know you, and formed more than just a “work” friendship. Thank you for always listening to my wants and needs and for never shooting anything down! Dawn was absolutely wonderful from start to finish, we were just blown away by her commitment to making sure we LOVED our photos! Months prior to our wedding, Dawn set up a call to discuss our vision, she welcomed texts and screenshots of the style that I liked, provided an online portal where we could submit detailed requests, and she sent little letters of encouragement as we got closer to our big day. The day of our wedding, Dawn brought fun and professionalism! She was so helpful with transitioning the bridal party from getting ready, to robe photos, to first look - on time! At the venue, she did a great job at balancing when to capture candid moments and when to take charge and orchestrate family photos and our stunning bride and groom photos. My mom told me that some chairs and table pieces were set up incorrectly and apparently Dawn jumped right in to help rearrange things before the guests arrived! Dawn delivered hundreds of gorgeous photos in the warm, romantic style we had discussed. I am so grateful that we chose Dawn to photograph our wedding and make beautiful memories last forever. Thank you for everything!

I hired Dawn from Captured Beauty Photography for our wedding renewal .. and she delivered the absolute best photos of our day and was so easy to work with. We live in New Jersey and renewed our vows in Florida. Prior to the renewal she kept constant communication with me and which made me feel very comfortable. If there were any hiccups she reassured me it was going to be fine and we would figure it out. She was fun, relaxed & go with the flow. She has the eye for great ideas on photos and knows how to catch the perfect shot. What I absolutely loved was the next morning I woke up to about 20 photos of a sneak peek of our day and by that night she sent another 20. Within one week she had sent all our photos to us that were organized in different tabs (getting ready, ceremony, family, party, bride & groom) - Dawn is the absolute sweetest and we loved working with her. Thank you so much for capturing the absolute best photos of our day. I don't have enough words to describe how AMAZING Dawn and her second shooter were for me and my husband's wedding in April. We had a destination wedding in Captiva Island, and I am from wayyyy up north. It was scary working with vendors from so far away, and we came into contact with some very shady figures along the way (you know how wedding vendors can be). My coworker had her photos taken by Dawn for her wedding a few years back, and she had nothing but positive things to say, (and amazing photos)! I reached out to Dawn, and having done professional photography myself, I was very aware of the way that photographers can also be shady in terms of their services. YOU GUYS DAWN WAS THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER. Not only did she provide WELL over the amount of photos promised, she did so in just a matter of days after our wedding. Dawn met multiple times with my husband and I, finding out exactly how we wanted our wedding day to look and helped create our timeline, communicate with vendors, provide friendly advice, and suggest other vendors in the area. Again, having to do this from another state wasn't easy, but Dawn suggested THE BEST DJ ever, and each piece of advice from her was magnificent. She was always available for us, for whatever questions we had, on anything. We could call her whenever, and she was always so helpful. The actual day of the wedding was amazing, and everything I could have ever asked for. Dawn was truly a large part of that magic. She was almost like a wedding coordinator, going way above and beyond to make sure that we had the best day possible, while receiving the best photos. She is amazing, and I don't have enough words to describe how wonderful she has been. -

captured beauty photo was recommended to me and i’m sooo happy they were. i worked with dawn for maybe 8ish months leading up to the wedding, and it has been such a pleasure.
let me start from the beginning. we got married at breakers west country club. dawn and her team have done shoots there before, so right away she was making suggestions and had ideas. once i signed with captured beauty, i believe 8ish months before the wedding, dawn made sure to keep in touch throughout the entire planning process.
what i personally LOVED was the unexpected letters and little gifts i’d get in the mail from her. they would remind me - “it’s coming up!” or “treat yourself!” it was so personal and just made me feel at ease. i wasn’t just another customer. such a nice touch that i think sets her apart from most wedding vendors.
leading up to the wedding, she was flexible with what i was envisioning and kept on top of everything, including coordinating with the venue. she was the first to send me a timeline and overall was extremely organized, which, as the bride, i greatlyyy appreciated.
WEDDING DAY! i finally got to meet her and her team. they were both so kind and i felt comfortable. i knew i was in capable hands. she led the way on picture locations and directed all the family shots (there were many.. so I’m fortunate she was very “take charge” as our families are loud and a bit hard to organize lol). the day was amazing and that night, she sent some sneak peaks! they were fabulous and definitely had me excited to see the rest.
RESULTS! we got married the week before thanksgiving, so i knew there would be a longer wait for our photos. i was expecting weeks with the holidays and stuff, but within 2 1/2 weeks we had the final gallery. they were STUNNING. we were able to share the gallery with all of our family and friends. downloading them, they are still in just as good of quality. we are sooo pleased with the results. they are all beautiful and they truly captured the emotion we were feeling that day. seriously, amazing!

If you're looking for a photographer and diving through reviews STOP. Look nowhere else and call Dawn at Captured Beauty immediately. From the moment we booked her, our engagement photos, helping us plan our timeline, all the way through the wedding and after we never expected how amazing she would be. She guides you and makes you look natural, gets all the shots, all while wrangling in your crazy uncle Bob. We had pictures to see the same night! The rest were delivered extremely quickly, we'd barely gotten back from our honeymoon. And they were so beautiful - I never thought I could look like that in my life and my Husband? Full GQ status. They were artful, romantic, we'll framed and planned and combined planned poses with natural moments. By the way? She's going to be your hype-woman the whole way through too. Sometimes you need that during the stressful parts if planning and family surround events. All our other vendors commented on how great she and her team were, and what a joy to work with they were. We will 100% be hiring Dawn again for all the future moments of our life we need to Capture. Can't recommend enough. -

Dawn is absolutely fantastic- do yourself the biggest favor and book her immediately! She photographed our wedding on Saturday, and no one could believe how wonderful she was- my parents, our wedding party! NO ONE could believe how quickly she got us preview photos, and how gorgeous they turned out!
From our first conversation with Dawn, it was very clear we would be in excellent hands- and my goodness were we right about that! Dawn is professional, detail oriented, hilarious, and immensely talented! She is also just an incredible human- by the time we got to wedding day she felt more like a friend than a vendor!
Throughout this entire process- Dawn has been our go-to contact. She’s gone above and beyond, even recommending a talented hair and make up team when I was having a hard time finding one to fit my budget! She sent us little gifts every couple of months to get us excited- and checked in frequently the months leading up to wedding day!
We did our engagement shoot a few months back and Dawn nailed it- the photos were stunning. She was so receptive to feedback and went above and beyond to make sure we were one hundred percent happy with how they turned out- even going back and re-editing a few to make sure I felt beautiful in them!
On our wedding day, Dawn blew us out of the water! She managed the timeline beautifully and we never got behind at all! She was incredibly clear about how to pose and make sure to position us in the most flattering way. She even made sure we had more than enough time to enjoy our cocktail hour.
The day after your wedding- you’re floating and desperate to relive any moments from your special day! Dawn came back after 11+ hours of shooting with us and posted some photos to instagram so we actually WOKE UP to pictures from the night before! 5 hours later, she delivered a link with the most stunning preview photos! They were perfect and we were so eager to share them. NO ONE could believe how fast she got them out- I had married friends tell me it took them weeks to see a single photo. Here I am, five days past my wedding with a whole album of shots. I can’t stop looking at them. She has no idea what that means to us!
I’ll add a few favorites for reference- you’ll see that Dawn’s talent speaks for itself. The way she works with light is incredible. I’ll treasure these photos forever and am eternally grateful to Dawn for lending her professionalism and talent- and making last Saturday the most magical day of my life.
Long story short- you NEED Dawn on your team! Won’t regret it! -

Her photos are drop-dead stunning and she listens to everything you say and knows exactly how to capture what you're looking for. On the wedding night, she literally sent us sneak peeks at 3am! That's how devoted to her work she is. She wasn't just a photographer, but she was basically a bonus bridesmaid. I can't rave about her enough. Prior to booking our wedding photographer, I had calls set up with a handful of photographers in South Florida. My first call with Dawn, I knew she was the real deal. Her professionalism, assertiveness, organization (and sass!) are exactly what we were looking for. To speak to her talent, when I asked if she could do ‘light and airy’ photos for us, she said absolutely, even though that is not her usual style. She is so talented and knowledgeable about photography; you would think all she does is light and airy based on the quality of our wedding photos!
On the morning of our engagement session, it was supposed to thunderstorm all morning. I was so worried we were going to have to cancel, went back and forth on whether to call it, when I told Dawn my doubts, she said “let’s go for it”. We ended up having the most incredible sunrise, and I was so glad she knew when to give me the push I needed based on her experience. From that moment on I knew we were safe trusting her judgment, and that carried us through on our wedding day. Doing the engagement shoot with Dawn was so fun and relaxed my husband and my nerves before the big day.
On the wedding day, Dawn was with me every step of the way. Her team is incredible. We also worked with Ayala Films, her partnering videographer who is excellent and so talented. It gave my husband and I peace, knowing Dawn and Andres work so well together, and that they wouldn’t miss a beat of the biggest day of our lives.
Dawn and her team are so generous – she sent us an engagement gift and checked in on us throughout the whole wedding planning process. She even sent us a gift card for a date night leading up to the big day. If you work with Dawn, you are choosing someone who is committed to excellent service, and someone who is interested in forming lasting relationships. I already know who we will be calling for baby and family shoots in our future!

If you are looking for a photographer that understands you, Dawn is it. Not only does she do your pictures and delivers them within a timeframe that is almost unheard of for the amount of pictures that she takes. If I could suggest one thing for any upcoming bride, is to absolutely book Dawn Burns from Captured Beauty Photo. It is the best decision I made for my wedding on January 14th, 2023 at Breakers West. From the first time I spoke to Dawn, I could tell how detail-oriented, creative, professional, and passionate she was. I am definitely a perfectionist, and Dawn is fantastic with communicating, and delivering exactly what the bride wants. She has an eye to tell if anything is out of place, while still having fun. She is also extremely flexible. For example, unfortunately, we had inclement weather during our engagment session, but Dawn was very accommodating and happily re-scheduled the shoot for another day to ensure we got the photos we wanted infront of the Jupitet lighthouse. The engagment photos also turned out absolutely beautiful, could not have been happier.
Also, throughout the whole year Dawn would surprise us with gifts that were so thoughtful and unexpected. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients, and it’s obvious she puts her heart into her work. Now regarding the wedding photos, they absolutely speak for themselves and are stunning! I am blown away by her talent of such beautiful shots. She gave us sneak peak photos the wedding night, so when I woke up, I had photos to look at! Also she delivered our final photos two weeks later! It was I am so thankful that I hired someone who is not only a great photographer, but an amazing human being. Dawn makes you feel so comfortable throughout the whole day and is down to earth and has fun! The photos she took of my family that day, I will cherish for a lifetime. I could not have asked for a better team to have been part of such a perfect day, and I cannot recommend Dawn enough! Thank you and I will love these photos and you always! -

From the moment I spoke with Dawn, (photographer), I knew she was the one. We just clicked. I didn't have a positive experience with a previous vendor so I prayed that God would send me someone that I can trust and share details with especially because this was our first wedding
He sent me Dawn and I truly appreciate her. We had our engagement photos done by her also. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We had so much fun and the photos came out amazing. Best investment and decision EVER! The team worked hard for us all day and even made sure my hubby was feeling well and had eaten after he was feeling faint. When I met Dawn, I knew instantly she was the one for me. From day I she’s really worked hard to make sure our day went off perfectly.
She’s a solution oriented - problem with the timeline, it’s okay. We can adjust! Sun setting fast - let’s go get the shot! And the shot was got!!!
Every time I look at the photos I smile! Dawn captured so many beautiful moments at our wedding I am left in awe. From close intimate shots of my husband and I to family and friends, my sorority sisters, and the little things in between, we are forever grateful for capturing our love story!

Everything from beginning to end with Dawn and her team was flawless. She really made the day work seamlessly and kept us on schedule. Her planning process made it so easy for me. After many postponements and date shifts, the one vendor I wanted to make sure that was still available was Dawn at Captured Beauty Photos. The Best!!!
Dawn was so perfect to have with me on this very special day in my life. We had to throw together a last minute small wedding ceremony due to our first one being cancelled because of Covid and didn’t have any guidance or planner and Dawn completely stepped up to the plate and guided us through so much that was not required of her at all! Stop looking for a photographer and just hire Dawn
Are you getting married? Obviously, you wouldn’t be reading this if you weren’t. The most important part of this process is making sure you have a photographer to capture the best moments of your wedding. So stop looking. Seriously, don’t bother. Dawn with Captured Beauty Photography Is the only person you need for your big day.
Our experience with Dawn was transcendent, from the first moment we meet until the final product was delivered (and she got us all our photos 13 days after the wedding)! We first met Dawn for coffee in Jupiter, and from the first moment we sat down, she understood exactly who we were and what we needed. We talked about coffee, life, and our wedding vision. Once we left, a few days later, we got a care package from Dawn, thanking us for choosing her. She gave me a bag of the coffee she kept telling me about and a nice card. We were so floored by this gift, we knew we had the right person handling our photos.
A few more months into planning, she sent us a gift card to Bonefish (a place my wife and I really enjoy) and a card, saying to “go out on her.” We couldn’t believe that she did that for us, as wedding planning is, as some of my readers here may know, chaos.
We unfortunately had to postpone our initial wedding date from March 2020 due to Covid-19, but our first call was to Dawn to try and make sure she had a new date available. She was so easy to communicate with and we luckily were able to have her for our new date.
She was spectacular when it came time for the wedding. She had a whole schedule for both my wife and me and our parties. She had a second Photographer with her to get even more angles and shots. Working with them both on the day of was an honor, as the shots were gorgeous. She even had a 5 minute slide show/sneak peak for us AT THE RECEPTION. Her work is impeccable, her professionalism is astounding, and above all else, her character is godly and honorable.
We cannot recommend Dawn more. Seriously, I just tired. I can’t. You need to hire Dawn for your wedding so that you can have the absolute best photos of your big day, forever, for all to see.

The photographer is the MOST IMPORTANT decision you will make for your wedding (aside from WHO you're marrying, HA). Absolutely Anazing!
I got married at the end of October 2019. My wedding was on the beach and at sunset so we were on a time frame. Dawn was so professional. I appreciated she was open to my suggestions and she shared my vision with me. Anyone can take posed planned pictures, I mean look at social media and everyone’s “selfies” !! Phenomenal
My only complaint is that Dawn lives in Florida!
She is organized, excited, dedicated and incredibly talented. She was in contact with us from day 1, planning for our day and sending sweet notes.
Dawn has a vision for what would look incredible, she gave direct instructions to help us out and made us feel perfectly comfortable. Within 24 hours I had 10 magical pictures and in only 2 weeks she had delivered the entire album of phenomenal wedding day pictures.

Amazing! So delighted with Captured Beauty Photography!
Having just gotten married May 31, 2019; I can say that choosing Dawn and Captured Beauty Photography was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process.
From the very beginning, Dawn was the second photography company I reached out to and she was incredibly responsive; getting back to me within the hour of my online request for more information. She chatted at length with me on the phone and we hit it off immediately. We had special circumstances with lighting and mobility issues; and she was not daunted at all by our challenges, but displayed such creativity in thinking through solutions and making us feel at ease.
We met several times before the wedding and that was SO helpful. Both for photography and planning purposes and also for support and encouragement of someone who has gotten married themselves and has a lot of experience in wedding prep!
We loved her special gifts/surprises that came in the welcome package! I won't tell you...so you can be surprised too. :)
We chose to do a bridal shoot prior to the wedding and we so thankful we did. It was more relaxed and Dawn and Jasmine were fantastic; a lot of fun and so encouraging.
On our wedding day; Dawn was an amazing cheer-leader and organizer of photos for our VERY large wedding party and my endless list of family photos. ;) She even showed us some of our photos at the end of the reception and I was ALREADY blown away by her talent and creativity.
She promptly had our photos edited and available online and I am STILL going through them. They are SO amazing and I am in love with each one! It really captured one of the most amazing, special, and blessed days of our lives and is a reminder of God's faithfulness and gifts to Mike and I.
I 100% and more recommend Dawn and Captured Beauty Photography. She is amazing; as a person and as a photographer, artist, and wedding vendor! You will be so thrilled by her work and blessed to know her! -

Wow. Dawn is simply amazing. She was professional and understanding right from the first meeting. She worked well in our budget and she worked well with our personalities. Wonderful experience, amazing pictures
Dawn and her team are absolutely amazing! I am so in love with the pictures that she captured on our day. We were instantly friends from our first conversation on the phone. She was so wonderful throughout the planning process. She checked in with me numerous times to see if there is anything she can do to help or anything I needed, even months before. She also sent us multiple little surprise gifts leading up to the wedding, which was so unexpected and so thoughtful. All of our wedding party loved her and Jasmine. Dawn has such a fun personality and made the experience that much more enjoyable. She also knows how to take charge, and was able to utilize the limited amount of time/daylight that we had to work with. The results were beyond our expectations. We really appreciated that she was able to get all the pictures we wanted and was able to do them fast! She had some of the pictures available for viewing during our reception which was amazing as well. From the moment I first contacted her I knew that she was the one with how responsive and friendly she was. She kept in contact with us for months prior to the wedding. Making sure we were doing okay, and if we had any questions or concerns. She sent us a few surprises in the mail that we absolutely adored! Dawn made what can be a stressful day not stressful at all. Our bridal party absolutely adored her as well. She had so many sneaky fun surprises up her sleeve the day of that made the day even more exciting! Dawn is sooo amazingly talented and a GENIUS at what she does! We seriously could not have picked a better Photographer for our wedding.
