    Complex Plan Done Perfectly!

    Caprice Strings was hired to perform and provide underscore to a one hour Celtic wedding ceremony. Prior to the ceremony, they performed the most beautiful ensembles as the guests were arriving. During the ceremony there were at least 9 song cues for all of the various parts of the ceremony. They had rehearsed and prepared all of these complex songs, that are not done in your average wedding. They did such a beautiful job! Their music made this unique wedding ceremony that much more special and they nailed each and every cue. Leading up to the big day, there was a lot of planning and communication. Francesca was detailed with her emails. accommodating to each and every change, ensuring songs were rehearsed & ready to go and incredibly easy to work with. I love this group. I highly recommend Caprice Strings.

    Thank You, Caprice Strings!

    In looking for a cellist for our ceremony, Caprice Strings came highly recommended by our wedding coordinator, Julie Scrivener. Francesca was incredibly warm, kind and patient through multiple postponements from the start of planning our wedding in early 2019 to finally celebrating July 3, 2022. The song selection Caprice Strings has to offer is outstanding, and Francesca helped navigate the format of our ceremony and choose the perfect pieces. Thank you to Francesca and her team for adding such musical beauty to our ceremony at the Japanese Friendship Garden, and for being a part of our special once in a lifetime day!

    Beautiful Addition to Our Ceremony!

    Francesca and her team at Caprice Strings are wonderful to work with! They're extremely talented, professional, and our guests loved them! They really help add that special touch to the prelude and ceremony. They were able to play classic tunes as well as one specific song my husband requested from Star Wars. I highly recommend them!

    Magical addition to your special day

    These ladies did an unbelievable job of adding elegance and grace to our wedding. Communicative and full of love - it rang out in their music. Francesca took extra care to have the precise playlist with perfect music for each part of the ceremony. The day would not have been complete without them!

    Engaging, sensitive, patient, understanding and professional

    Caprice strings took great interest in my wedding, working out every detail, even ones I could not handle alone. They were on time, beautifully dressed, and they sounded fantastic. Loved my experience with Caprice Strings.

    Delightful to work with...

    I absolutely LOVED working with Caprice Strings! They were so responsive and engaged in helping to make our wedding music awesome! They offered suggestions that were much appreciated. Their passion for making beautiful music is apparent. Our day was magical and Caprice Strings certainly contributed to that magic!! Highly recommend!

    One of my best wedding vendors

    Caprice Strings was one of my top vendors for my wedding. I hired the violin trio for my wedding ceremony, and their music was absolutely perfect. I can't imagine what the ceremony would have been like without them!

    Francesca communicated with me for a full year leading up to the ceremony. She was SO lovely to work with - you could tell she really cared about making sure my groom and I had the ceremony we were dreaming about. She would always tell me she wanted to make sure our experience was "perfect." I really appreciated her enthusiasm, sincerity and attention to detail throughout the entire process. What is also fantastic is Caprice Strings has a HUGE catalog of songs they can play. I found several string trios/quartets would charge a fee for learning certain songs I wanted, but Caprice Strings had ALL the songs I was looking for, which weren't your typical wedding tunes.

    For military brides, they do offer a military discount. If you want to have live music for an elevated, elegant wedding ceremony and have the very best experience with a wedding vendor, hire Caprice Strings.

    Fantastic musicians!

    Caprice Strings is simply wonderful! Francesca was very easy to work with and helped along the process in choosing music, etc. The trio played for our wedding, welcoming guests to their beautiful sounds. They continued to play throughout the ceremony and for half of our cocktail hour. They elevated the experience to a whole new level as their music captivated everyone. If you’re looking for a fantastic group of musicians, look no further and call Caprice Strings!

    Caprice Strings did a wonderful job playing the music at our wedding ceremony at Estancia La Jolla. They have a large repertoire of classical music and modern songs. They were easy to communicate with leading up to our wedding and were extremely professional. Would definitely recommend them for your event!

    HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We hired Caprice Strings to play at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour this past April and I have only great things to say! They were so helpful and easy to work with, and they played beautifully on our wedding day! We received so many compliments on the music and they created EXACTLY the atmosphere I was hoping for on my wedding day. My husband and I couldn't be more thankful - they are so talented!!

    Caprice String Quartet was a real pleasure to work with. Francesca helped plan out a selection of music that matched our tastes, accommodated multiple program changes, and delivered a truly wonderful performance at the event, both during the ceremony and during the social/cocktail hour following it. Caprice offers a wide choice of styles, from Baroque to popular, and plays everything with skill and impeccable taste.

    Amazing violinist

    Francesca with Caprice Strings did an incredible job at our wedding. We hired her as a solo violinist and she made phenomenal music during our ceremony. I wish I had more time to speak with her at the event but I was busy getting married! She was a great communicator before the event and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend her for any classy event!

    Francesca with Caprice Strings is simply FABULOUS to work with. She is helpful, informative and has a great personality. She sent me a CD to hear the musicians. She sent me a song list and then took the time to help me finalize my song selection to be played before, during and after our ceremony. I booked a trio (Violin, Viola and Cello) which was PERFECT and it made the ceremony simply beautiful!!

    I am so happy that Caprice Strings was part of my wedding day! As a bride you don't really get to hear any of the preliminary music or ceremony pieces…except for the song you walk down the aisle too. From what I could tell, everything sounded beautiful. Maybe my wedding dvd will allow me the opportunity to hear all their music (I won't find out though till the videographer finishes it). Francesca was so helpful in providing suggestions and giving me peace of mind. I walked down the aisle to Moon River and my father was balling his eyes out. It was beautiful.

    True Professionals!!
    We could not have been more pleased. From the beginning, we experienced professionalism beyond our dreams. Francesca promptly mailed us a sample CD of their music and an extensive list of classical music and modern pop songs to choose from. My fiancé and I sat with our IPhones googling classical renditions of modern music (e.g. System of a Down, Green Day, The Pixies,..etc.). We had so much fun that night! On our wedding day, the musicians arrived on time and were quite patient with our crew of groomsmen who were setting up the ceremony cite. Thank you Francesca!!

    Francesca was really helpful from the very beginning in helping me choose my ceremony music. She was very knowledgable in Catholic Masses and knew what songs were appropriate for the ceremony. The music was soo beautiful, it made our ceremony soo classy and it added an elegant touch. I would recommend her services to anybody. She was the most affordable too!

    I can't praise them or reccomend them enough. They were a pleasure to work with and extremely responsible and professional.

    I hired them to play music while the guests were being seated, all the ceremonial music and the cocktail hour. I had asked for very specific classical music for the ceremony. The ceremony was about 30 min and they played beautifully. For the cocktail hour I requested anything but classical music and they were happy to play all my requests. They played Bon Jovi, Led Zepplin, Journey, etc. It was a huge hit and I got many compliments on it.

    AMAZING!!!! Francesca is so sweet, professional, patient, and understanding - could you ask for anything more? She sent us song lists and website links to sample songs when we couldn't figure out what we wanted, she helped us plan step by step with what we needed for the ceremony. In the end, it was absolutely gorgeous. The music they played made our ceremony beautiful. Très Magnifique!

    I loved having a string quartet as I walked down the aisle. Very dreamy. These musicians were excellent. I had goosebumps! She was easy to communicate with and played everything we'd discussed. For our recessional they played "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve and it was AWESOME!
