I had my ceremony at the Botanical Gardens in November of 2022. The venue was absolutely gorgeous that time of year and I could not have been happier with it. There was a bit of a mix up the morning of the ceremony where the chairs were facing the wrong direction in the ceremony space (there are two different ways it is typically done in that space). What could have been a very big wrench in my day was easily breezed away as the coordinator from the venue assured me it would be fixed immediately, and it was! Everything was just perfect. If you’re looking for a wedding venue in the Fayetteville area it is really hard to beat this one!

This venue is EVERYTHING and more!!!! My wedding was a success here and I want to say that my coordinator Lauren was with me every step of the way to make sure that my day was on point. If you need a venue for your event or wedding this is the place to book and you will not be disappointed!!!!

My wedding is set for September 19,2020 and one of the things i love about cape fear botanical gardens is while my wedding will be going on another wedding will be going on as well but neither wedding parties will run into one another. Beautiful venue.

I have used CFBG before, however not for a wedding. The team was super professional. Jessica made sure everything was right for my ceremony,and rehearsal. Despite COVID, the team was cautious.

Both Katherine and Erika were wonderful. They made sure everything was ready and assisted me in everyway possible. The view at the gazebo made for great pictures!! I loved our wedding ceremony!

The venue is absolutely beautiful. Our caterers packed up without so much as a word. The woman there for the evening helped us out so much with getting everything collected and put away when it was time to leave.

Samantha was my event coordinator and she was amazingly responsive. When we had concerns about the weather, she reassured me and helped us develop a back up plan.

My husband and I chose CFBG for our May wedding. From the very start, our experience was perfect. The facility is beautiful and the staff is superb. Our coordinator was Lauren and she was AMAZING right from the get go! From all the questions and concerns to last minute changes she was perfect. I would highly recommend this venue for any event. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. The perfect location for a wedding and reception! The gardens did the decorating for me with the beautiful foliage and flowers!

The Cape Fear Botanical Garden was the perfect setting for our military ball. The Orangery, Grand Hall, patio and lawn were absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful backdrop to a lovely evening. We had 700 guests and thanks to the fantastic staff and vendors, the event was flawless. I highly recommend this venue for a wedding ceremony, reception, military ball, or any other event!

Cape Fear was the perfect reception venue for our daughter's wedding. We rented the Orangery, a huge rotunda with wood beam ceilings, a stone floor, columns, huge ferns, and a waterfall feature. It's stunning. Along with it came outdoor patios/terraces with tables and chairs and a lawn area. Our guests enjoyed the traditional reception indoors, but also went outside to play corn hole and wander the gardens, which feature a scenic overlook and gazebos and trellises. Perfect for picture taking! Our guests have commented over and over again what an ideal setting it was. The staff was very professional and helpful through the entire planning process. We could not have been any happier with our special day!

My ceremony was beautiful, thanks to this lovely botanical garden. Theres no spoken word to describe how awed I was when looking at my pictures. This garden made the scenery for all of my pictures. They were lovely. I would highly recommend this vendor for a summer ceremony not a reception, although it can be done. I only had my ceremony here and my reception was done at Mckellar's Lodge on Fort Bragg, NC.

Last July we held my daughter's wedding reception at CFBG. It was an incredible evening! The location was absolutely perfect and I would 100% highly recommend the Garden as a wedding reception location. From day one, all the staff was knowledgeable, accessible, and extremely professional. We had a smooth experience with the planning process and all the aspects handled by the Garden staff. And then all the planning made for a beautiful summer evening in a gorgeous setting and there were no issues! The grounds looked warm and welcoming, clean and with many bright blooms. The Orangery was even more elegant than I could ever have imagined. The lighting (Five Star Entertainment) provided in the Orangery and the outside tent (provided by Saam's Party Rentals) was splendid, the flowers done by Always Flowers by Crenshaw's were an example of simple, southern elegance, and the caterer, Aberdeen Catery, left all raving about the food and its deliciousness. Many thanks also to Donna Foley (cake), and Jody Brandon of Atlanta for his guidance and assistance in creating a fabulous decor. Jay Christina Photography and Twenty-One Films also provided us with many wonderful photos and videos of the weekend. And last but not least, The Band of Oz was full of the awesomeness we knew they would be!!!

I had looked at another venue and had my heart set on that one but I couldn't be happier that I went with the Botanical Garden for my October wedding. It is the perfect place for an outdoor wedding. My wedding was absolutely beautiful. My family from out of town has done nothing but talk about the Garden and how perfectly beautiful it was. One downside to the garden, in my opinion, is the number of weddings they host at one time. There was a total of 3 ceremonies scheduled for the same day as mine. One wedding was canceled but the other one started late which means my decorator couldn't get down to decorate my ceremony location on time but overall everything worked out and I couldn't be any happier.
Also the money I paid for the venue/reception space was just that for the venue/reception space. I had to hire a decorator because I was not able to decorate myself and my family was coming in from out of town. Throughout my planning I worked with 3 different women in events. All were pleasant and very helpful.

Love the Cape a Fear Botanical Garden. It was the perfect place to have my wedding reception. The orangery room was the perfect size. Everyone at the gardens was very nice and easy to work with.

Beautiful place! The scenery did everything for itself. I didn't have to do anything extra to make it look AWESOME! The staff was good as well.

The venue is gorgeous! Our wedding was beautiful and we were very happy with the overall outcome. We were a little dismayed to learn (just a month prior to the wedding) that there would be multiple other events happening at the same time as ours but, for the most part there were no hiccups in our event. I would choose them again without hesitation - just make sure you have everything in writing and go over the fine points in detail. :-)

WEdding was beautiful, but customer service was sub par. Additional hidden charges and miscommunication were commonplace during our planning period. Also, they rent multiple rooms at the same time that are right next to each other, so be careful of what is also schedule on the day of your event. Hopefully with their new coordinator, customer service will improve. Overall, we are very pleased with how our wedding day turned out, but it was quite stressful getting to that point.

Overcharged, lacked consistency with professionalism, quality of services of vendors...poor! Especially the Five Star entertainment. CFBG Not transparent, I am trying to make contact with the board members to share my concerns and get a refund for several issues. May have to sue because I paid them all up-front. They required it. Full Payment before services is a no, no! Will never do again!

Do not book with this venue!!!!
I really wanted our wedding here because it's where we went on our first date but it's my #1 regret. They're awful. I paid to have one of the event staff be my coordinator and I had SEVEN different girls through the process, including a change the day before my wedding. They never call or email back you're literally 100% on your own, zero responsiveness, and they could care less about your special day. Also terrible at bookkeeping, I got charged twice for things. And this is the worst thing two hours before my rehearsal I got a call that I needed to reschedule I was livid. Like I said do not book with them, it's too much stress.
