Cap did and excellent job at communicating with my husband and I about exactly what we were looking for on our wedding day. He not only had everyone dancing the entire night but was well organized and left me with not a thing to worry about. I would recommend him to any bride that does not plan on handing him a long list of songs to play at the reception...he can read people a lot better than a playlist can. -

Cap is incredible! He is friendly, personable, and helpful throughout the entire process! He made sure the guests were having a wonderful time, there weren't any "dull" parts of the night, and he gave us great advice for meeting/thanking all of our guests. The uplighting he does really made the room look even better! -

Cap made our special occasion truly memorable.He worked with us patiently and diligently and everything worked like clockwork.He recommended a splendid photographer and make up artist who were truly the best in the business.He made our guests very comfortable and everyone was on the dance floor. -

From the moment my husband and I met Cap, we knew that he would be the perfect musical host for our wedding. He was extremely personable, willing to listen to our requests, and knew exactly how to make our wedding flow in the best possible manner. Thanks to Cap, my husband and I remained worry-free the entire day, knowing that if something went wrong Cap would handle it without us even having to hear about it. He was an expert at reading the room and kept the dance floor packed all night! I could not say enough about his professionalism, expertise, and fun personality! I highly recommend him for your next event! -

You will not find a better DJ anywhere in the northeast. Cap went above and beyond any expectation my wife and I could have ever had. The service was excellent, his response time to emails and phone calls was incredible, last minute changes don't bother him at all. Also, what other DJ'S come with all Bose audio equipment? He is a true professional and the best you will find. If weddingwire had 10 stars, he would get 11. -

Cap Capello does not only provide unparalleled DJ service - Cap provides the most organized event planning leading up to and throughout the wedding and reception. Cap was very quick and thorough with answers and/or suggestions to any questions and/or concerns we had arise prior to our wedding and reception. Cap is a true professional and well worth every penny. We HIGHLY recommend Cap for your DJ and any event planning needs. -

I can't say enough about how wonderful and fun he made our wedding reception! We have received so many compliments about the music and entertainment that he provided. He takes care of everything and anything for you, often things that you wouldn't even think of. He played a great selection and variety of music and kept people on the dance floor. I was adamant that I did not want our wedding reception to be a club scene with wild dance music and he did it just right! He is very well experienced in the business and we highly recommend him! -

Cap was amazing! Absolutly hilarious and kept our guest fully entertained. A true professional. Gave us great advice to make our night a million percent perfect. Always right there when we had a question. Every one of my guest including the staff commented on what a wonderful job he did.. if you need a dj cap is your guy! -

My wife and I used Cap for our wedding and could not have been more happy. Throughout the whole process Cap was engaged and helpful whenever we had any issues.
His performance was impressive. He chose music that got people from all age ranges on the dance floor, ensured all events happened with no issues, and kept the party going all night.
We cannot recommend Cap enough to anyone looking for a DJ. -

CAP was beyond excellent throughout our entire wedding process - he exceeded our expectations as well as the expectations of our guests!! Not only was he easy to work with up to the wedding, but at the reception itself he was awesome! He kept everyone on the dance floor all night long!! In fact, we ended up extending the reception since so many people were still on the floor dancing at the end of the night. He really was wonderful to work with and my new husband and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him if you or someone you know are looking for a DJ for your event - you cannot go wrong by choosing CAP - in fact in our opinion CAP should be the only one you consider since his work was flawless!

Cap was fantastic!...and I love his voice! He was professional, honest and knowledgable. He returned e-mails/phone calls quickly, provided the most updated technology and followed through on what he promised to provide us. I was astonished on how well he was able to read the crowd and provide the appropriate music at our wedding. He seemed to know exactly what people wanted. Cap is more than just a DJ. He is a compassionate, kind and generous individual.
I have had the pleasure of Cap's services for more than 15 years. He has volunteered at more events than I can name. Cap has a special way about him when dealing with folks with disabilities. He is incredible in knowing what types of music to play to bring out the best in everyone in attendance. He is a great guy. -

One of the most charismatic DJ's out there. He can adapt to any type of ceremony. He keeps the crowd happy and you on schedule. Will tailor your reception to how you want it, no questions asked. Has the latest technology and music to keep any event current with the latest trends. I highly recommend him. No event is too small or too big for him to handle. -

Cap was a great DJ. He kept the crowd on the dance floor and having fun. He was fantastic at dealing with last minute changes- we forgot to come up with an order for the tables to get food, and he gave a trivia quiz instead! Everyone said it was one of their favorite parts! The music was great- he played more music for the older generations early in the night, and younger music later, a great combination. Guests who have been to a great number of weddings said he was one of the best they've seen! -

I would have given him a higher ranking if I could but it will only allow me to give him 5 stars!!! He was amazing, his voice is wonderful (I was told he has the best announcers voice around)!!! The party never stopped, he was also very flexible to stay an additional hour because we were having the time of our lives!! I would highly recommend him to anyone especially to all of the brides looking for an amazing DJ who will work with you, be there when you need, get back to you quickly, and accommodate all of your needs and wants! I had to coordinate from a distance and he was just amazing every step of the way and the reception was everything I ever imagined!! :) Thank you Cap Capello!!!! -

Cap made our night run very smooth. WE choose him for a few reasons....he is more "mature" than most DJ's....the price is right.....and He provided just the right amount of entertainment intermingled with great music. Our dance floor was packed all night!! Our guests had a great time dancing and were quite entertained with the compatibility quiz! We also used his photobooth which was a big hit. The album is a riot....we are so glad we added the photobooth! -

Since the first time we met Cap Capello we knew he would be the right person for our DJ/Wedding Coordinator. Cap is very responsive and detailed throughout the whole process. We really wanted someone that was going to take charge and "run the show" without any worries, and that is exactly what he did. During and after the wedding our guests kept coming up to us telling us how amazing our DJ was/is and how much fun the music selection was. We cannot thank Cap enough for making our special day perfect in every way. -

He definitely kept the party going all night! Everyone danced to a variety of music that seemed to please our guests of all ages! The dance floor was packed and the energy was very high!

My wife and I hired Cap, on very short notice, to DJ our wedding. We had very a specific taste in the genre of music played during the event. Cap was amazing!!! He was wonderful to work with right from the beginning when my fiance and I were searching for a professional DJ. He spent a good 30 minutes talking with me prior to booking him to answer all of my questions and to make sure he was the right fit for our special day. Needless to say, our reception rocked the house!! Cap Capello had our guests on their feet and dancing from the moment the night began, and because our guests were having so much fun we decided to have him stay an additional hour! Cap's music selection was perfect for all of our guests, ranging from slow to fast, old favorites and even some new ones! He surprised my husband and I at the end with a special touch to remember our first dance by! Cap is wonderful and professional and I would highly recommend him for any wedding! -

Cap was wonderful! Everyone we have talked to said it was the BEST wedding they had ever been to, and I can firmly say that was due to the work of Cap. Cap was, by far, the best DJ we have ever seen. The dance floor was jam packed, and very few people were sitting at all during the night.
In one word - OUTSTANDING!!!
We will definitly recommend Cap to anyone that is getting married in the future, and will definitly have him as our DJ for any other events that we would have. Thank you so much. -

Cap was AMAZING! Hands down our wedding was as fantastic as it was because he was a part of it. Not only is he an amazing DJ (He kept the party going all night long...we were dancing before dinner.) But he also was super accessable. I asked him tons of questions via email regarding other vendors, ettiqutte, ect and he always got back to me right away, sometimes within minutes. He recommended a string quartet for us, who were also great, easy to work with and just wonderful. He is super honest, helpful, and friendly. He kept the crowd happy, but didn't play the typical songs you hear at every single wedding. I think this was the best decision we made about any vendor. BOOK HIM! HE WAS AMAZING! -

Cap Capello is a true professional, and I highly recommend him as a DJ and event planner. He perfected absolutely every detail of our wedding, and his organized approach to planning made for a stress-free day for me (the bride). There is no substitute to working with someone who is a veteran in this business -- all of my questions were answered from day one, and I could rely on Cap to respond to my emails/calls in a timely manner. When I had ideas for vendors, he had instant feedback (and usually he knew the vendor personally!). When I forgot an important paper for a pre-wedding meeting, he had an extra copy with him. He just made things very easy. As a DJ/musical host, Cap was also top-notch. His stage presence is very natural, and his song choices were a great balance of modern music and classic favorites to appeal to all guests and generations. I have been to many weddings, and I honestly have never seen a dance floor fill up so quickly. The waitstaff was serving dinner to empty tables! It was amazing -- exactly the party we had hoped for. Cap also programmed and arranged multiple lighting fixtures to create a multicolored up-lighting effect in our reception ballroom. It looked ethereal and beautiful. Lastly, we rented a photo booth from Cap, which I highly recommend. Each guest received a copy of their photos (our wedding favor), and Cap's assistant arranged the duplicate copies alongside signatures in a nice guestbook for us. Overall, we were very happy with our experience with Cap Capello. We feel like we got a great value for our money, especially for all the behind-the-scenes help he provided throughout the planning process. -

Quite honestly this is the easiest review I've ever written. If you want the best musical host in the business, you hire Cap Capello. Simple as that. Trust me when I say, you'll be glad you did! As the sales manager and event planner at The Vista at Van Patten Golf Club where my daughter's wedding took place, it was extremely important to me to have someone I could rely on to take charge of the evening so that I could be a guest for the evening and not feel as though I had to work. Cap made sure that happened. We could not have been happier with his services, attention to detail, professionalism, and most importantly, his heartfelt desire to go out of his way to make our night SPECTACULAR!!! -

Cap really made our wedding day special. It was as though he had known our families forever! His comic relief was an extra special touch that our guests really enjoyed. He really understood the music selections that we were looking for and played songs that our guests and our bridal party enjoyed. Cap is an excellent communicator and was available to answer any questions that we had up until the very last minute. He is extremely flexible and very professional. I sought Cap out after seeing him at another wedding....it made our musical host decison quite easy after we had seen how great he really was. As a bride you always have a fear that no one will be up and dancing....we danced until the very last minute all nite long. Our friend recommended Cap to us as we searched for a DJ. They described him being ‘The Best’ and a ‘Legend’. With a review like this how could we not as least meet the guy? Cap’s personality is like no other DJ we have ever encountered and we say this in a good way! As Cap would always say, and it’s true, he thinks of EVERYTHING so you do have to!
Cap redefined our expectations for successful DJ. He was like an assistant wedding planner, putting in a LOT of prep work before the event to personalize it for us. We really didn’t understand how critical this was until we started going to more weddings. The DJ should be the one running the show and making sure it goes smoothly – not you or your relatives who have enough to worry about. He’s been doing this for decades and it really shows. He also has top quality audio equipment. Definitely add the up-lighting too.
Six months after the wedding, friends and family are still coming up us saying how amazing it was and how much they loved Cap! We are so lucky to have had Cap as our DJ, he truly lived up to amazing reviews and will make your wedding truly Legendary! -

Cap was a great help to us from the first day we made contact with him, I knew planning the wedding that he was the ONLY DJ that I wanted. We loved the enthusiasm and professionalism that Cap showed in everything he did for us. He would check in by email or a phone call to see how we were doing and if we needed help with anything for the planning of the wedding. The day of our wedding he made everyone feel at ease, he added a lot of personal touches for the two of us and our families and had the guests on the dance floor all night. All I kept hearing all night was "How did you get CAP CAPELLO?!?!" Everyone was so impressed with him and his ability as a DJ and Wedding Host. I would highly recommend Cap to anyone looking for a DJ for any event, there is no other DJ who can surpass him in skill, dedication and personality. -

Cap was great! Everyone always told me to worry about the DJ because it can make or break your wedding and Cap definitely MADE the wedding. He was fabulous, totally professional and totally talented in what he does. He came unbelievably prepared and he had everything down to a science. He brought lights and a flat screen tv where he played every single video along with the song that was playing, a really nice touch that people still talk about. He got to know us through questions that he asked us beforehand and so he made the night personal without being overwhelming. It was awesome!! -

I have known Cap for many many years but I never had the opportunity to use his services. This past June, I got married for the second time and I knew from the start that only Cap could do justice to our party. Even though I had seen Cap at other weddings and parties (I was a DJ for 16 years myself and learned all I knew from him) I was just blown away by how great he was at our wedding. The flow was perfect, he worked so well with the banquet manager that she knew she had worked with him before (even though the wedding was in New Jersey and he had never been there). The musical selection was great and the dance floor was full the whole time. Our friends who are really big party people had such a great time that they still talk about the wedding and how great our DJ was months later. As a matter of fact, they want to get him to DJ the parties we are always having at someones house. -

We were very pleased with our "Cap Experience!" Cap is the consummate professional. Right from day one, we knew we had made the right choice. And now that it's all over, we wouldn't change a thing.
He was quick to return our many phone calls and emails and was very responsive and accommodating to our numerous special requests. He went above and beyond and even surprised us with TWO special video presentations. One was a video I had put online of our proposal and I was SO happy to have it shared with all of my friends and family on such a special day. The guests who had never seen it were truly moved. Cap segued into the moment beautifully and both my wife and I were truly touched, and VERY impressed.
There were many moments, large and small, before and after the event, where it was evident I was benefiting from MANY years of Cap's experience. One that sticks out to us was his advice when he learned we planned to practice our first dance. He encouraged my wife-to-be to wear her wedding heels and a bathrobe while we practiced in our living room! And he was right.., you should have seen us struggle! But practice made perfect and our dance was a success; my wife twirled expertly in her heels and I didn't step on the dress once (i can't say the same for the bathrobe!).
You would do yourselves a great service in hiring Cap Capello Entertainment for your wedding. He even offers uplighting and photobooth services! You'll be glad you did. Our guests raved!!! -

My best friend had Cap Capello DJ at her wedding and ten years later when I got married I still remembered him, that's how good he is. Since then he has DJ'd at my wedding and at my mother's 80th birthday party. I can't say enough for Cap. You tell him what you want and he does his absolute best to get it for you. My mother had a certain song that she wanted for her birthday party. The song was out of print and couldn't even be found on the internet, but Cap found it. He had it shipped from California and my mom was thrilled. Beyond that he is easy and fun to work with, professional and just a wonderful DJ. -

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Cap Capello for our wedding this August. Cap was exceptionally professional, courteous, and thorough in his preparations, and beyond that was a lot of fun to work with. On the day of the event, he did an excellent job keeping people dancing, keeping the event moving, and allowing us all to have a ton of fun! We only had two small complaints: One is that the background music during dinner was a little too "elevator music" - some nice jazz or classical might have been a bit more our style. And the other is that he missed one of the songs on our "must-play" list, but we had so much other good music that we didn't realize it until a day or two after the wedding. But, I would still absolutely recommend Cap - he is a class act and a consummate professional. -

A wedding reception is about flow. Cap Capello knows this very very well as he has been doing weddings for 30+ years. From wedding party announcements to final dance, Cap keeps the party moving. He has excellent presence and a signature voice. He brings unique alternatives to the traditional wedding reception. My wife and I and especially the guests loved the Compatibility Quiz (Ask Cap About It) and the Longest Married Couple alternative to the Bouquet Toss. I couldn't count the number of guests who came up to me after the wedding reception and told me that they loved the uniqueness of the Cap's approach. Cap Capello is a professional. What we liked: Cap has an excellent voice for dj-ing services. His equipment was of excellent quality. During the middle of ceremony he had us a play a game to see how well we knew each other. It was great. The guests enjoyed it, as well as my husband and I, it was very entertaining.
Dislikes: Cap is very much in control, which at times was intimidating. It took my husband and I awhile to choose the song we would be introduced by at the reception. My husband downloaded the music and sent it to Cap, but the day of our reception Cap forgot and used another intro song, which we did not enjoy. Because we went to the lengths of sending him the music we were not pleased that it was not played, but he did apologize. He did not want us to use music with lyrics for introductions to the reception, and as a result we did not use a song we really wanted for the bridal party. My husband and I also had about 10 songs we wanted played at the reception. All of these songs were played at the beginning of the reception when we were still going to tables to thank people for coming and as a result we were unable to dance to a lot of our favorite songs, which was very disappointing. We did re-request a few, but that was only lost time. -
