Candied Apple is locates just outside of Julian, CA and known for their delicious pies. We ordered 4 sheet pies, a few dozen donuts and one of their 3 gallon cinnamon vanilla ice cream. They don’t deliver but it wasn’t a problem for me to have family pick it up the day of and bring it to the venue. -

My wedding was December 7, 2018. I must have gone to 5 different shops to do cake tasting. The shops that had good tasting cake would blow my budget out of the water and the ones with OK prices I wasn't too impressed with their cakes until I got to Candied Apple. Heather took the time to sit with me and my entourage, lol and explained the whole process, did cake tasting and talked about my complex design. Heather not only knocked it out the park with her tasty cake and filling options but her attention to detail and trying to make sure she captured my every desire was very exciting. She made each of the snowflakes by hand herself. Heather made the process fun and the price is untouchable. I had a 5 layer cake, and Heather was nice enough to make one of the layers out of foam because while we needed the height we did not need that much cake. The end result was a stunning winter wonderland cake that I will forever be grateful for. -

Candied Apple not only baked our cake, but also provided the pies for our rehearsal dinner. The cake was delicious and exactly what we wanted, despite our unique decorating requests! -

We had a small wedding of about 30 people and chose to allocate our money on other concepts. None of our guests could tell because the cake we received was amazing. We had supplied a sample photograph from Pinterest. They were able to recreate the image almost exactly! It was quite amazing and for the price one of the best values of our entire wedding. Everyone was pleasantly surprised by the texture and flavors and was the perfect accent for our small wedding. -
User2665717 Sent on 06/28/2016We were recommended to Candied Apple Pastry Co by our venue in Ramona as the local option for our wedding cake. We went for a tasting and were blown away by the raspberry filling, and decided to pair it with a chocolate cake, as well as a sheet of lemon soaked cake. As far as wedding cakes go, we found their prices to be very reasonable and competitive. The cake looked great with a textured white buttercream exterior, and was decorated with fresh flowers by our florist. We only got to try the chocolate cake at the wedding, but it was delicious and we have only heard good things from our guests. -

Amy Sent on 10/13/2011When my husband and I first got engaged, we immediately started the planning process of finding a venue and all of our other vendors. Since we were getting married at the Pine Hills Lodge, we were referred to Candied Apple since they do a lot of the wedding cakes in town. We stepped into this cute little shop and saw a model of a fall themed cake that was absolutely gorgeous! My fiance and I decided at that moment to make our wedding a fall themed wedding, all because of that cake! Chef Charles is an amazing baker and really fun to talk to! Crystal does all of the amazing decorating and business matters and she was SO helpful. When we found out we were having more guests attending than expected, Crystal crunched the numbers over and over again to try to save us some money. The result: She saved us $30 by suggesting we get a smaller tiered cake for appearance and a half sheet cake to cut up! Everyone loved the look of our cake as well as how it tasted. We chose the white vanilla chiffon cake with chocolate and raspberry mousse. The fondant was even tasty! Marshamallow-y in flavor!
Also, our cake arrived at our venue no problem! We were so busy taking pictures that it seemed like the cake magically appeared at the venue! We were so lucky to have Candied Apple Pastry Company be a part of our wedding!

Courtney Sent on 07/12/2012Candied Apple Pastry Company did the cake and desserts for my wedding and everything was SO delicious. We did a dessert table with a smaller wedding cake and a variety of mini-desserts including carmel apple tarts, fruit tarts, cream puffs, lemon tarts, etc. Honestly, the best cream puff I have ever had! Everything was presented beautiful and tasted exceptional. I had so many guests compliment us on the desserts. Yum, Yum, Yum!!
