  Jocelyn was wonderful to work with for our wedding! I would highly recommend her to others. She even sent me a list of different popular classical songs she could play so I didn't have to come up with my own ideas. It was really cool that she knew how to play Star Wars on the violin and she played this after our marriage pronouncement as a surprise to my husband. He loved it! She also played a duet with our 9 yr old niece and it was beautiful! She took the time to drive and meet up with my sister-in-law and niece to practice the duet before the wedding. When they played, she did a great job of encouraging our niece to keep singing with her slight nods and facial expressions. Guests commented to me afterwards that you could tell she has worked with kids. I'll also add that I was worried about rain and last minute emailed her about pushing Back the ceremony. She was so accommodating and flexible, saying she could play two hours later even though she had something planned for that evening. Fortunately it didn't rain! Jocelyn was very professional and reviewed all the details of the contract with me over the phone. Overall, I was very impressed with her and the violin in the park was perfect for our outdoor wedding! Would be happy to answer any questions anyone might have about working with Jocelyn!

  Jocelyn Kopac is a total professional. I worked with her when we did the music for my niece's wedding. I wrote 70% of the music for the wedding, much of which was given to her at the last minute. She has a beautiful sound, great attitude and easy to work with.

  We had a violinist at our outdoor wedding ceremony. She was flexible with our song choices and also stayed to play for the outdoor cocktail hour. I did my research and it seemed that Candid Brilliance was a good value. Very flexible and easy to deal with.

  Beware. The musicians at my wedding ceremony (including Jocelyn) played an entirely different set list than the music we agreed upon in our contract. When I told them I was dissatisfied, they accused me of lying and refused to give me a refund. They even went as far as to try to prove me wrong by sending me the set list they played, the one they said we agreed upon. This was their biggest mistake; included in that playlist were songs for "seating of family", "seating of mothers", and "unity candle ceremony", which is all well and good except for the fact that NONE OF THOSE EVENTS OCCURRED IN OUR CEREMONY! Even after I pointed this out, Jocelyn still refused to give me a refund because "the musicians played well". What hurt the most is that the song I had planned to walk down the aisle to was in tribute to my older brother who passed away the year before my wedding, and now I have to look back on my wedding day and know that the tribute never even happened.
