Canaan is the BEST

I cannot recommend Canaan enough. She did make-up for me, my bridesmaids, and my mom, and everyone loved her work. The airbrush make-up stayed on the entire day despite the rain, heat, and humidity. She also did a phenomenal up-do for my hair, perfectly capturing the sample photo I showed her. On top of her doing such a great job with hair and make up, she was such a calming presence in the midst of a chaotic wedding day.

Absolutely Flawless!!

Canaan is so sweet and professional, she was so flexible during Covid as we switched our date and worked with me on what to do for my hair and makeup. Wedding day was so much fun with her around, and she made me feel so beautiful and exactly what I wanted!!

So glad I had Canaan on my wedding day!

Canaan is an amazing makeup artist and hair stylist. The trial run was perfect because I didn't really know what I wanted besides "updo and flawless complexion." Canaan knew exactly what would look best on me and the trial turned out perfect. On my wedding day, Canaan also did makeup for my mother, sister, and MIL and all were extremely happy (including my sister who hates makeup haha). My hair and makeup were flawless throughout the day even though it was a bit hot (June). I will definitely recommend Canaan to any friends and family planning on getting married. Not only is she very talented, but she's a cool and kind too which is exactly what you need on your wedding day!

Amazing experience for my big day!

Canaan did an amazing job on my hair, makeup, and tattoo cover-up! My mom & MOH also loved her! I was so worried i’d sweat everything off (on a hot august day in TN) but it all stayed perfectly and i felt beautiful the entire day & into the evening! I would highly recommend her to any of my friends getting married!

An artist who cares about so much more than just your make-up

To say that Canaan made me the best version of myself our special day would be the biggest understatement I could make. Canaan made me feel like the queen that I always wanted to be, and making me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt. Canaan is beyond professional, helpful and thoughtful and really helped me figure out my hair/make-up vision even when I had no TRUE idea what I wanted. But not only did she make me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt physically but she helped me mentally to, in all honesty, keep it together leading up to my wedding day and also on the day of. She was absolutely my rock, wearing multiple hats, even when she didn't need to. She went above and beyond to help me through difficult situations leading up to the day of all while keeping my stress down. Canaan, I'm forever thankful for you. To all the beautiful brides out there, DO NOT HESITATE to book Canaan. Just go do it. You will never regret it because she is truly the best out there.

Truly amazing and incredible work

Canaan is exceptional. I first met her when she did makeup for a friend's wedding where I was a Bridesmaid. She did a great job and I didn't think twice before booking her for my wedding makeup. She is always on time and very professional. She meticulously worked on creating my wedding look and I was very happy with how it turned out. She is very patient and responsive to all questions and concerns. She had a personal unfortunate event before my wedding but she still did not cancel on me and I am very grateful for that. Canaan understands the emotionally charged atmosphere of weddings and she takes up the role of a wedding therapist to calm the bride before the wedding which is adorable and extremely endearing.

Canaan captured my vision perfectly! The three separate times she did my hair and makeup, she made sure I was fully happy with the look and that it was the look I was going for. Talented and Professional!

I was referred to Canaan by my hair stylist and I could not be more thankful I found her! Canaan is so sweet, kind, caring and talented. High Quality and Dependable

If you're looking for a high quality and dependable hair and make-up artist for your wedding, then you need to hire Canaan. She's responsive, patient, and respectful of your time. She also brings the perfect balance of listening to what you want and offering her professional opinion. Initially, I thought I wanted a certain look and she explained fully what that would mean for the end result and I ended up choosing an option that suited me so much better. When my mom wanted her hair adjusted but didn't know how to explain it, Canaan knew exactly what subtle tweaks to make to have the end result not only be stunning, but exactly what my mom wanted.

Canaan was so great to work with through the whole wedding process! She was always quick to respond and did multiple hair trials until we figured out what I wanted. She was so friendly and it was like having a friend hang out while she did our hair and makeup on the wedding day. She did a phenomenal job on my hair and makeup! I was so so happy with how it all turned out! I received so many compliments on how amazing my hair and makeup looked on our wedding day! I owe it all to Canaan! She really made me feel like a star that day! She also did a wonderful job on my mom’s hair and makeup and my bridesmaid’s hair! I would so highly recommend Canaan!

Canaan recently did my hair and makeup for my wedding a couple weeks ago and she is AMAZING! She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! My hair and makeup looked EXACTLY how I wanted it to. Canaan was awesome! She did hair and make up for me and also make up for my bridesmaid. She was ontime, very professional and most of all she was very patient. She was with me whole day of the wedding -June 30 2018 and she had to start the make up very early as I had 6 bridesmaid and me to work with. She was so patient in customizing each ones needs and made us look gorgeous. I had shown her some pics of pinterest and she was able to replicate and infact make it much more better. I never thought i could look that beautifyl. All my friends and relatives kept praising me telling i looked stunning, all thanks to Cannan. I would definitely recommend Canaan to anyone who want to look stunning on their wedding day!. Thanks a lot Canaan for everything, you are awesome!

Canaan was absolutely amazing!! I can't begin to thank her enough for the exceptional work she does. As a professional photographer, I have worked with Canaan before and can definitely say she is one of the best! She makes sure everyone is completed on time and looking fabulous! This is absolutely key when trying to make your big day go as smoothly as possible. As a bride, I knew I wanted Canaan. She brought in an extra hand as we had seven bridesmaids and at least 11 additional girls that wanted her services. Everyone was beyond trilled and already thinking of reasons to hire her again! Canaan was a very affordable and amenable option for the hair and makeup for my fall wedding. I needed someone that was willing to be flexible with our plans and she was. Canaan did an absolutely outstanding job with my hair and makeup and making sure I was getting exactly the look I was going for on my wedding day. I couldn't believe how incredibly gorgeous and stunning I felt when she was done getting me ready -- and even by the end of the night since it all held up so amazingly well! What I also truly appreciated was that near the end of the makeup application, I accidentally created a very noticeable blemish in one area... and Canaan stayed and threw herself into reworking that spot and going back at it as many times as she needed to until it was good as new and looked like nothing had ever happened, and with the best attitude about it the whole time. The level of professionalism and dedication she shows for her work is top notch. I just had the most fantastic experience working with Canaan from the very beginning of planning the trial run through all the way to the very end of my wedding day session. I seriously, seriously lucked out finding and choosing her to get me looking so much more amazing than I'd even imagined that day.

Working with Canaan was a dream! She was so professional, kind, and calming on my big day. Canaan and her team were amazing! I had previously booked another MUA who ended up bailing on me weeks before my wedding, luckily Canaan was available and was able to get me (and my large bridal party) booked for the big day! Canaan is amazing. She is everything you would want in a wedding makeup and hair artist! She styled all of my bridesmaid's hair (all 7 of them), and did the makeup for me and my maid of honor. We have never looked or felt more beautiful. Canaan is professional, friendly, and most importantly, incredibly talented. Further, her rockstar personality fit in with me and my bridesmaids like she was one of my old, longtime best friends - that made me feel so at ease and comfortable during both my one-on-one trial and the morning of my wedding! I have had many bad experiences with makeup artists where they don't listen to what I want or what I envision - you will NOT have this issue with Canaan. She listened to me, to my concerns, and to my desires, and created my wedding-day image that was better than I could have ever hoped for. I swear to you, she will not disappoint. She was absolutely one of the best decisions I made during my entire wedding process, and I cannot say enough positive things about her.

Canaan was so much more than I ever dreamed. I don't wear that much makeup on a day-to-day basis, so I was really worried about not looking like myself. When I have used other professional makeup services for other formal events, I never liked the way I looked, but when Canaan did my wedding makeup I felt truly beautiful which is the first time those words have ever exited my mouth honestly. After having a few trial runs with terrible luck, a friend recommended Canaan. I looked at her work and website and loved everything. The airbrush makeup and reviews are what sold me since I have terribly oily/red skin. I was so worried about my wedding makeup but she came in and was confident which put me at ease. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my makeup in my wedding photos! I got so many compliments and Canaan was always very responsive and I loved how she made it all so organized and less stressful. She did an amazing job on myself as well as bridesmaids and mother. We all were beautiful. My makeup stayed in place with no oil ALL day and night! I was in love with my hair too. It is thin and fine and she got the most gorgeous curls and it held up the whole time. I would highly recommend Canaan for any and all hair/makeup needs! Canaan did an amazing job on my wedding hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids and mother of the bride. She was so sweet, very helpful on choosing what hair style and makeup goes well for my skin tone and theme of wedding. She was very quick to respond to emails, very professional, and also so friendly to hangout with hours prior to my wedding. She did my makeup and hair around noon of my wedding, it lasted and still looked fresh and amazing as ever 2am the next day when we rolled into our hotel. I would recommend her to anyone, her prices are so reasonable and her style is spot on. Thank you again for making me look like a princess day of my wedding. I never looked and felt more beautiful.

Canaan is absolutely A*M*A*Z*I*N*G!!! My original makeup artist pushed my wedding to the wayside less than a week before my wedding but Canaan stepped in last minute and did an amazing job! She is talented beyond words and goes above and beyond to make you happy! I would recommend her to anyone hands down everytime!

Canaan did an amazing job on my wedding hair and makeup!! She perfectly replicated the hairstyle I described for her, and it stayed perfectly in place all day, which is a small miracle for my hair. My makeup was exactly what I wanted too, and it stayed looking perfect all day too! Canaan did hair and makeup for mothers and bridesmaids too, and the team she brought with her was not only great at what they did, but so much fun to be around. I 100% recommend Canaan to anyone looking for a hair and makeup artist!

Brides, bridesmaids, models, etc,etc, etc...if you're looking to look beautiful, feel beautiful, and be beautified by someone beautiful....Canaan is your girl! She recently did my bridal make up as well as my bridesmaids and mothers make up.
(9-4-16) WOW!!!! SHE IS THE BEST! My wedding was in Huntsville, AL...and she lives in Tennessee. She was more than willing to drive 2 hours to do my trial make up as well as come to us at our hotel for a Sunday wedding. VERY reasonable prices too! All of her make up equipment is extremely clean and professionally sanitized. She was timely, organized, and ready to beautify! You will be SO happy to choose Canaan. Shes friendly, fun, inviting, and makes the whole experience exactly what you would want it to be on your wedding day. I cant wait to have the opportunity to have her do my makeup again! Do not hesitate...book her now. Shes a GEM!

Canaan did an amazing job on mine and my bridesmaid's hair and makeup. We were all very happy with her work. As someone who doesn't normally wear a ton of makeup, she did an amazing job of making me look great for pictures but also look very natural. My fiance, now husband, was blown away. Canaan was also very easy to work with. We all enjoyed hanging out with her at both the trial and the day of the wedding while she did her work. Booking couldn't have been any easier. She provides questionnaires prior to the wedding to help make the process run smoothly. I would highly recommend doing a trial. It allowed time for experimentation, especially on my hair, which can be tricky to work with. I would very highly recommend booking Canaan for your wedding or any other event.

Canaan provided excellent make up and hair services for my client during a professional modeling photo shoot the last 2 Saturday's. She arrived early, interacted with the client and her manager to get the exact look they were seeking, adjusted and touched up the look frequently throughout the 4 hour session. She was professional and provided a look that was natural, soft and made the job of shooting the session very easy as she almost acted as an assistant to me! The client was happy, looked great and Canaan's work gave her the exact look she was seeking!

I also worked a wedding with Canaan in May of 2016 with excellent results on a large group of bridesmaids, bride and the mothers of the bride and groom. She worked the whole group quickly and got great results for each - even on the ladies that had skin issues.

I highly recommend Canaan for wedding day make-up and for any preparation for your special photo-sessions - engagement, boudoir or formal bridal portraits. She will do a great job and you will be happy with the results!

Canaan is such an amazing make up artist and hair stylist. She is very professional and has amazing insight on exactly what I needed to look my best for my big day. all of my bridesmaids and my maid of honor raced over her work. We were all very happy with the work she did for all of us. I would recommend Canaan for any make up and hair services. She will be my go to for any special event I have in the future. Cannan was such a great vendor to work with. I received her name from my florist/day of coordinator. Once I reached out to her I knew she was the one for me and my wedding party. My bridal party looked absolutely amazing! Cannan put in a lot of detail into everyone's makeup and made sure everyone was happy with their makeup before she moved onto the next person. Everyone in my bridal party received lots of compliments that night on how gorgeous their makeup turned out. I absolutely love my wedding pictures and love how her expertise in makeup really helped to make everyone look stunning for the pictures. Thank you so much!!
