Cake was exactly how I wanted it!
I would recommend working with Campbell’s Bakery. They were so easy to work with, very responsible and professional. We did a cake tasting with them. Everything was so delicious, and we ended up picking the vanilla cake with cannoli cream filling. It was so delicious! I also loved how my cake looked! It was just how I wanted it! Thank you!!

Delicious Cake
When we went for our tasting, the filling flavors were so delicious that we chose 3 different flavors for our 4-tier cake! Our favorites were the vanilla custard, chocolate mousse, and strawberry mousse- but we loved them all! Although the frosting wasn't laid out exactly how we wanted, we were very happy with how it came out. The cake was DELICIOUS!

My cake was included from this bakery when I booked my wedding at the riviera in massapequa. I called to set up an appointment one month prior to my wedding and they got us in right away. We went inside and had about 10 cake slices to try from. They were all actually really good. We had a four tier cake so we chose four flavors and did a whipped cream outside instead of buttercream. They did charge us $50 for the red velvet tier but it wasn’t s big deal. Everyone loved the cake so much. I did a plain white look on the outside with burlap ribbons around each layer and had my florist do fresh flowers. It was perfect.

My fiance was waiting for the train in Queens when a business card blew onto his foot. It was for a bakery in Brentwood. We had just gotten engaged the week before. We did try other bakeries but they did not come closeto this one. Thank you Campbell's for the most delicious, unique, beautiful, and quality wedding cake we could have asked for. We had a red velvet cake with cheesecake filling and buttercream frosting. The cake was fresh and held up well despite the hot July heat. The design was exactly what we picked and it was delivered to the hall promptly. Received MANY compliments from guests who were not expecting such a great cake. Many, many thanks! I LOVE desserts but I have never been someone who liked wedding cakes. I always thought that they were too dry and not that great. Campbell's Bakery changed my mind completely!
They were a bakery that provided the cake with our venue/catering package at Bourne Mansion (Lessings property) - and they did not disappoint! The bakery itself is a cozy, unassuming place and the cake tasting was quick and easy.
We tried a bunch of different flavors and we were even able to get a special tier of dulce de leche for no extra charge (and it wasn't even part of the tasting menu).
We had someone deliver the cake flowers from our florist to the bakery the night before and the cake came out beautiful. Not only that, but it was super moist and delicious and I sometimes still dream about how yummy it was.
I can't wait to get a small cake on our 1st wedding anniversary - to relive the night all over again!

Our cake was included with our venue, the venue used Campbells Bakery, we did a tasting at the bakery, staff were friendly and professional, they really helped with my food allergies making the top layer of the cake gluten free. The cake looked beautiful and was delicious!

Our venue uses Campbell's bakery for all their wedding cakes. Our wedding cake was so beautiful and delicious, we couldn't have asked for anything more! We had the opportunity to taste all the different kinds of cakes and fillings, and picked out a design that we liked. The cake came out just as we had thought it would and tasted delicious!! You will not be disappointed if you use Campbell's Bakery.

Campbell's Bakery was the vendor for my wedding venue (The Riviera) and my cake was actually included with my wedding. After reading reviews, I wasn't sure about them and almost got my cake from another bakery, but I am so glad that I gave them a chance. I am not sure about the negative reviews, but my experience with them was nothing but positive. It was a little tricky for us to get there for a tasting, but they worked with us to make it happen - just call ahead and make an appointment. The included cakes and fillings were so delicious, it was hard to choose! I brought along pictures of what I wanted, which was more of a "natural/rustic" look (I'm not into the fondant/heavily adorned fancy cakes). My cake turned out exactly as I had envisioned it, and was so incredibly fresh and delicious I couldn't believe it. The only minor issue I had was that there was a small part of the whipped cream frosting smudged on the edge of one of the layers (possibly not even their fault), but my florist had provided flowers for my cake, and she covered up the smudged part and it looked great and you'd never know. Campbell's also provided cannolis, cookies, and so many other dessert treats for my wedding - all were really delicious and incredibly fresh. I wouldn't have chosen this bakery on my own, but I am so glad to have been introduced to them and will definitely be back in the future!

We had our wedding at Giorgio's in Baiting Hollow and this became the second bakery that they used. I am SO glad that they added this bakery because the other one (La Bonne Boulangerie in Port Jefferson) was rude, unprofessional, and extremely overpriced.
But back to Campbell's. Overall, we had a great experience with them. The bakery is a no-frills store with sweet and helpful staff that helped us to select our wedding cake. A large variety of cakes and designs were included, leading to very little out of pocket cost for us. The cake was delicious, looked fabulous, and we couldn't have been happier with our decision!

Hands down AMAZING. Our guests have raved about our cake since the wedding, from the taste to the design.
Our venue originally had only 1 bakery, which we had booked with early on. 6 months before our wedding they added Campbell's. We went for a tasting and immediately cancelled our order with the original bakery.
Everyone there is wonderful. I can't remember the name of the staff who helpped us with our tasting, but she was so nice and patient with me trying to explain the design I wanted. There are so many flavors to choose from, and they were all so good! We wound up with a 4 tiered cake with 3 different combinations.
Delish! Awesome people! Highly recommend!

Campbell's Bakery exceeded my expectations! Our cake was not only gorgeous but it was soooo good. It was moist and delicious. Our guests enjoyed themselves. They were able to make the exact cake that I envisioned. They also made sure I was completely satisfied with the taste before I left the cake tasting. I had no issues or problems with them! I wish I ate more of the cake during the wedding but we were so busy, I only managed one bite during the cake cutting!

Campbell's Bakery was one of the choices from our reception hall, The Riviera, to provide the cake and Viennese hour desserts included our package. I am SO glad we chose Campbell's -- we love it so much that my family now makes the 30-minute drive out there to get pastries for our special occasions. We met with Greg several months before our wedding for a tasting and to talk through everything, and he was an absolute delight. My family is Italian, and he seemed pretty excited to include lots of Italian pastries in our Viennese, and even agreed to make the top of our cake rainbow cookie. Our cake had an unbelievably delicious cannoli filling with ivory buttercream frosting, decorated with gorgeous scrollwork and pearls that I picked out of Campbell's book. It was so beautiful that nobody wanted to eat it! Our guests loved it and everything else at Viennese hour, especially the rainbow cookies and tres leche and black forest cakes. Campell's is amazing - enough said.

I worked with Patty, who was very helpful when ordering. I sent her pictures and we came up with a design together. The day of the wedding the cake looked absolutely amazing and tasted even better! We didn't actually meet with anyone from the bakery or go to their shop for a cake tasting since it's a bit of a drive for us. The bakery was recommended by my venue since the cake was included in the price. We told our banquet manager what we wanted and Campbell's Bakery made it to order. We selected a vanilla and chocolate 4 tier cake with chocolate mousse filling and buttercream frosting. It was a simple cake that was de-lish! My florist provided flowers that cascaded down the cake and around the base. It was so pretty and looked great in pics!

The staff and owner's are excellent. The bakery goods, cakes, and bread are delicious. We had a 3 stack wedding cake with fondant and white sugar seashells that was perfect for our beach wedding that the guest raved (red velvet and cream cheese), as well as cannoli and Italian cookies. Yum (Even if you venue includes cake, I would recommend this bakery for any Bakery needs) :)

The service and quality of the cake was outstanding!! Dont waste your money going to those TV show bakeries, for a fraction of the price you can get an incredibly beautiful and tasty wedding cake. The owner and the cake designer were very accomodationg and it was a great success at the party.
This must be the best kept secret in the business as I have never heard from them but know that a lot of catering halls in Long Island use them for their weddings. It is a small , neighborhood bakery with incredible product.

OMG! This bakery is Brentwood's best kept secret. Outstanding value for what you get. Our cake was the epitome of one of those TV cake shows! Stunning! Our guests were awed. They even designed a custom made topper that was personal to us. The cake was moist and the taste was "scrumptious!" They went overboard to make sure we had exactly what we had dreamed about. I love Campbells!

Campbell's Bakery provided the cake for our wedding at Vina de Villa. The cake was AMAZING! It was absolutely beautiful! We chose a non-tradition cake in which there were 6 tiers but they were not stacked. Each tier was placed on a pedestal and they sat on a table at different heights, the entire cake being about 3 feet wide and 3 feet high. We got so many compliments on our beautiful cake that night. It tasted great too! Campbell's cannoli filling was to DIE FOR!!

Our cake was supposed to be free with our venue, but because I wanted a rippled effect in the icing it cost extra, which seemed silly to me since it was easier to make than the intricite designs in the wedding cake book but still not a bad deal considering how much some people pay for their cake. In the end, I didn't mind the extra cost at all because our cake was both beautiful and DELICIOUS! Several guests came up to rave about how good it was, noting that usually wedding cake is just so so but this was not only the best wedding cake they ever had, it was the best cake they ever had period!

We used Campbells Bakery for our wedding cake in 2008. We got married at Larkfield Manor and had over 200 guests. The cake from Campbells was delivered on time and was to our exact specifications. Not only was it fresh, but it looked fantastic and was more than enough to feed all of our guests (and we still had the whole top to save in our freezer). Everyone raved about the cake and people kept asking us who did, where we got it, etc. I would definitely recommend this bakery for anyone in Nassau or Suffolk County Long Island- it is well worth the journey into Brentwood!!!!!

A Beautiful and Delicious Wedding Cake
Campbell Bakery was the preferred vendor for our Wedding with Stonebridge Country Club: Smithtown, NY. We are extremely happy we decided to go with this vendor. We had a 4 tier cake . Not only was the cake gorgeous , it was moist and delicious. The combination of red velvet and vanilla cake was perfect. I can’t wait to order a smaller version of our wedding cake for our 1 Year Anniversary.

We had two options to get our wedding cake through our venue and ended up choose Campbell's, we simply felt more comfortable getting it from there and they did NOT disappoint. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and the cake came out beautiful. We thought the cake tasted great and everyone raved about the taste. They are not very responsive but we loved our cake.

Our wedding cake was supposed to free with our venue but we had to pay $75 for textured buttercream icing. Kind of pricey considering it was easier for them than having to make it all smooth. They only do tastings once a week and bakery is very small but the cake itself was absolutely delicious. I would still recommend them to other brides, just not for anything too fancy.

Campbell's is great, I will be using them again for other events. They were extremely accommodating and friendly and did not up-charge exorbitantly for simple things like chocolate drizzle or fruit to decorate the cake. I had a 4 tier nearly naked cake with buttercream and I had alternating tiers of chocolate and vanilla cake with a chocolate hazelnut mousse and the top tier was cannoli. Honestly I didn't take the hazelnut at all and it could have been a little richer flavor-wise for the chocolate but I still enjoyed my cake, unlike other wedding cakes Campbell's does not make their with excessive sugar and it doesn't leave your palette with the taste or sensation of shortening or lard. Their cakes are good quality and GORGEOUS.

The cake was absolutely delicious . Unfortunately they didn’t execute the cake as I wanted. The bottom tier of my cake was supposed to be smeared rose gold and the the other scrolls in rose gold , instead I got a pepto pink cake . My cake was included with my wedding package and I chose Campbell's as my bakery because of their delicious cakes! Everyone at the party loved the cake and raved about it for days!! I am glad I chose this as my bakery.
I do have to say that the process to order the cake could have gone smoother... I arrived a little bit early for my tasting which was a good thing because the place was packed when I arrived. It took a few minutes for anyone to help me and when they did acknowledge me, they asked me to wait some more. Once that was over, they brought out the tasting plate, everything was excellent. I would however recommend they offer clients water after eating so many sweets. When it came time to picking my cake design, the picks for slim. The designs available were not the most refined or elegant, especially for a wedding. I ended up picking a basic plain cake and then had my florist decorate the cake to match back to my colors.

Campbell's bakery provided one of the most delicious wedding cakes we've ever had. All of our guests loved it and it was beautifully desined. They even were able to make us a funfetti wedding cake! However, it was a little frustrating dealing with the staff over the phone and in person. Two times we had come in for tastings of our specialty confetti cake and the message was either not passed along or forgotten. In the end, our cake was delicious!

The cake was very good. A bit dry but still good. It was through a package at brentwood Country Club. I'm not sure I would ever order from them had they not been in the package just because the bakery looks a little too shady for me. But the cake ended up being very pretty and tasted good.
I dealt with Dana and she was great. Most of the staff there was also very nice.

I was married two weeks ago and had my cake delivered from Campbells Bakery. I was very pleased by their professional and the quality of the cake. I was one of those nervous brides and called constantly for two weeks prior asking questions and making sure they knew what I wanted. I reviewed a call back every time I left a message and the baker as well as the girls were always very friendly and professional with me. My cake was above what I expected and will always be remembered by my guests and myself.
I would recommend this bakery to everyone. I am so glad that I made the trip to Brentwood from Nassau County. The parking is very convenient and the bakery itself is beautiful and well maintained.
I will definetely be going back there for any special occasion in my future!!

This bakery was a preferred vendor and included in my venue package. I'll say this first, the cake was beautiful, everything was done right, it was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. The professionalism of the bakery was much to be desired, I had to make an appt, and when we arrived we had to do a lot of waiting around in a little corner, with no chairs. The designs were either not what we wanted (for free) or were extra cost. I am glad that the cake turned out great and was what I wanted. I would've went to another bakery if it was allowed.

First, the cake tasted wonderful. However, the butter cream was damaged/dented, which is not what I would expect for a cake that is being presented to my guests for the entire night. Also, the color of the scrolling was incorrect, which, in the grand scheme of things, doesn't really matter. What does matter is that when I went to a tasting, we stood in the corner of the bakery and tried some things, but apparently not all of what they had to offer. We had to ask to taste fudge filling.
The cake was included in my venue's (Riviera at Massapequa) contract, so it didn't cost me anything, but still. The damaged butter cream was annoying.

At Chateau La Mer, the cake from Campbell's was free. The cake was EXCELLENT, but it looked nothing that I had expected. And CLM had changed the sugar flowers that was on it to real flowers from an extra centerpiece without consulting me. Campbell's should have had a written description of the cake when they dropped it off. And since I paid for the fondant, it should've been the color I paid for. I asked for Ivory fondant with Ivory sugar flowers and got Ivory fondant and White sugar flowers.

Dealing with the owner and the workers was exceptionally difficult. My phone calls and emails were not returned in a timely fashion. There is absolutely nothing special about this bakery. They offer the everyday cakes and fillings. When I went for my consultation, I was exceptionally disappointed. I was paying a lot of money for this cake and there weren't any exotic flavors to wow me. The style of the cakes and the decorations that they offer are an older style. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and they promised that they could do it. Not only did my cake not look like the picture but, the layers were done wrong as well. I was very disappointed!!!

My husband and I used Campbells Bakery for our wedding on June 17th 2016. This vendor was preferred by our reception hall, Riviera In Massapequa, NY. The cake was included with the price of our event. The cake was pretty, and guest said it was delicious. Although it was easy to set everything up, if you had to stray from what the have as standard, the up charges can add up. It was hard to communicate a color change for the flowers on our cake, and I'm not fussy. Where as I asked for a light pink, the flowers were closer to a light violet. Not the worst, but disappointing. To call and get someone on the phone was difficult as only a manager was able to speak to you in regards to your order. In all honesty, for being included in our package it was great, its the small details that were frustrating.

This review is difficult for me to write because I have such mixed feelings about my experience. I will start off by saying that my cake was beautiful and delicious on the day of the wedding. That being said - my experience with Campbell's before the wedding was frustrating and unprofessional. We live out of state and it was very difficult for us to meet with vendors in person. However, it was important to me that we meet with the baker in person so that could come up with an idea together of how the cake should look. We made an appointment with the owner, Greg. However, after driving 8 hours to meet with Greg, we were informed that he was not there and was instead out on a delivery. The workers seemed confused and had us stand in the corner of the bakery looking at pictures of pre-designed cakes. After an hour of trying to figure out on our own what we wanted, Greg had still not returned. We told our ideas to a worker, who wrote them down and was very nice, but did not offer any of her own input. We never heard from Greg again and did not receive an apology for our missed appointment. On the day of the wedding, we had no idea what the cake would look like or if we'd even receive one! Thankfully, it was very nice. Not exactly what we had asked for, but still very beautiful. If you're a Riviera bride, this is the only house cake vendor as Black Forest is no longer affiliated. I'm not sure if I'd recommend them at this point. Even though it worked out for us in the end, I feel that we got lucky and it could be a toss-up whether or not it works out for you too.

The staff at Campbell's bakery was very sweet and wanted to try to understand what I had in mind. The first girl I worked with was nice and just said "yes" and "okay" to everything I was envisioning for my wedding cake, I should have known that she had No idea what I was saying. She kept going to the back of the bakery to ask the designer if they could do what I wanted - I don't understand why he or she couldn't just speak with us?! Anyway, I had also sent a photo of what I wanted, which wasn't outrageous I wanted roses on top and none of their selections in their old cake book had it. They charged us $250 for the design, they accepted cash only. I returned about 3 weeks before my wedding with the $250 and the other girl I spoke with (staff doesn't speak well English) had no idea what I wanted for the cake. I had to resend the photo (no biggie) but found myself re-explained the entire cake design, I'm glad we didn't have the cash the 1st time I went there because they wouldn't know what I wanted if I didn't go back. On my wedding day the cake came to my venue and it was SO ugly! I asked for gold dusting on the roses and he was yellow, bright yellow! Thankfully there was a replacement flowers for the cake so no stress but that place was just not what I expected. I got the red velvet which tasted pretty good but nothing to brag about. If you decide to go with them just pick from their designs.

Our cake was beautiful and delicious! we only paid $75 because the cake was included in our price from Chateau La Mer but we chose to make a slight upgrade. the only complaint I have is that the bakery isn't in a very nice part of town, and they do not have any type of designated area with table and chairs for cake tastings so you have to stand in the corner while tasting the cakes.

Although our 11/12/16 wedding cake tasted good, we were very disappointed in the lack of communication from this bakery which I'm sure ultimately led to them completing missing the mark on the design we had chosen for our wedding cake. I sent emails with pictures of exactly what I wanted, paid an up-charge and had 2 comversatiins with bakery staff and they still messed up. If you want a no frills, basic design, I'm sure Cambells would be adequate. Anything custom, don't bother. Very disappointed.

Totally not worth it. My daughter ordered a cake here for her wedding and paid good money expecting to have a great cake. The wedding cake was one of the worst that I've ever had and I have had some bad ones over the years. It was dry and tasted like nothing. When your daughter is having a wedding you expect the best especially when your shelling hundreds and hundreds of dollars for a cake.
Also, the customer service was HORRIBLE. When we went in there to order the cake we actually found ourselves apologizing for asking for something. It was like my daughter was bothering them by asking questions about the wedding cakes.
Save you money, I've had cake from BJ's that tastes better and at least I don't have to deal with attitudes from customer service. .

Totally not worth it. Normally I don't bother reviewing but my sisters wedding cake was so bad I felt I had to warn other brides to be. This cake was by far the worst that I've ever had. It was dry and tasted like nothing.
Also, the owner Greg is quite the arrogant sob. My sister called to let him know we weren't pleased with the cake that night. Not asking for anything just letting him know that she was upset and that it was embarrassing. He told her that his cakes are the best in the business and basically accused her of lying.
Save you money, I've had boxed cake that tastes better and at least I don't have to deal with the awful customer service.

Have to agree with the review below. Fortunately we didn't find bugs in our cake. But we ordered a cake from Campbell's for our wedding back in June. When we went there to order the cake, the owner Greg was rude and to be honest quite obnoxious. Seemed like he had little class and was quite unprofessional. They were recommended to us by our hall Chateau le mer. When we got to the bakery we couldn't believe how dirty and gross the inside of the bakery was. My husband wanted to walk out but I decided to make him stay based off the halls recommendation. HUGE MISTAKE. Our cake was disgusting and did not even closely resemble the picture that was presented to us. This is not a bakery I would recommend to anyone, especially for their wedding day.

WORST EVER!! Please ladies do not hire them for your wedding cake, unless you want the wrong one . 2 weeks before the wedding I went to pay the rest of my balance , first red flag, they couldn’t find my info hmmm I had to resend Greg the owner the picture of how I wanted my cake, he got it since I can see from his cell phone,.. wedding day cake was wrong, cake I ordered was not the cake I got. What can I do at the point ,... nothing. I called them up the next day and was told Greg couldn’t come to the phone as he was busy that he would call me back.. never did . I called several times left messages and till this day not one phone call to apologize for the cake. These people are irresponsible, rude and should really not be running a business, Thanks for ruining my day ..

If I could give them 0 I would, I ordered my wedding cake 3 months before my wedding and gave them a pic of what I wanted , went a week before and they had no clue what I was talking about , had to resend pic to owner as no one seemed to have received it, fast forward to my wedding cake they delivered looked nothing like the one I ordered, also did not get a tier with the flavor I requested, instead of Bavarian creme I was supposed to get , I got whip creme.. DO NOT GO TO THIS BAKERY !!
I called the owner the day after and have yet to receive a call back or an apology..

Let me start by saying I only went here for a cake tasting because it is the bakery recommended by my catering hall. Upon first entering the bakery it was filthy. It looked like the hadn't cleaned in ages and the floors felt sticky. Still I went ahead for the tasting. My fiancé, maid of honor and I each tried the various types although they give you VERY small amounts of cake to taste. About five bites in I dropped my fork upon noticing that THERE WERE BUGS INSIDE OF THE CAKE. Thats right, bugs. They appeared dead though one or two appeared to be wiggling around. I would NEVER recommend this bakery to anyone. Do not use them unless you are looking for an unwanted surprise in your baked goods. I am physically ill from this experience and furthermore I now have to look for another bakery 5 weeks before my wedding. I would give zero stars if that was an option. Completely disgusted.

Stay away! My wedding at Chateau La Mer was absolutely amazing, but my wedding cake from Campbells bakery was horrific. I gave them a picture to work with, and my cake came out nothing like it. It looked like a childs birthday party cake. I even supplied them with my own cake diamonds that I purchased. Not one of them was on the cake. There were supposed to be pearls around each layer and not one was there either. On the top was a royal icing bow, I have never seen something so ugly. If they couldn't make the cake I wanted they should've let me know. I called them the day after my wedding and they claimed the owner Greg wasn't in, I asked to have him call me back that day and he never did. I proceeded to call him over and over and now 3 and a half weeks later I finally get him on the phone (and not because he called meback). I asked him if he got my messages he said yes, he just never called back. I explained why I was unhappy and he just became arrogant and didn't care.He actually tried to tell me the diamonds were on the cake and they melted. I found that to be pretty funny, for the fact that it was a cold 40 degree day and there was not one mark on the cake from where they were supposedly placed. I called the manufacturer and I was told they don't melt when its cold and on fondant it would leave a mark. He denies everything. For the elegance of my wedding this looked like a cheap lousy cake. I would never recommend this bakery, this is the worst vendor I ever came across. If you are looking at this bakery for your wedding cake STAY AWAY!!

We were very unhappy with this cake, which was included with our catering package. Our tasting was scheduled at a time when the cake designers were not on site so we had to return a second day to discuss design. They always leave by the time we were told to come and I scheduled the tasting weeks in advance. It took place standing at a small counter in the corner of a regular retail bakery. No seats, no privacy. It felt very uncomfortable.
We ordered cannoli cream and raspberry mousse filling. Instead we got the thinnest layer of canoli cream I'very ever seen and raspberry jam. Our piping design was off center and it did not match the color of the ribbon on the cake. Worst of all, the surface of the cake was not smooth, but roughly iced.
We paid our florist to decorate the cake with some fresh flowers and thank goodness we did snice they saved it from looking horrible, as did our caterer who smoothed the icing somewhat. Very upsetting.
Perhaps ask why they have no sample books showing any of their weddin cakes. I wanted to believe the best of them when I read other reviews.
