  I had a very expensive, designer dress that I just didn't feel right about. I popped into Camille La Vie, and wouldn't you know I found the perfect gown? It was simple and sophisiticated. So..wearing a designer gown is not everything. I felt like a movie star in in my Camille gown. They have a great selection and are REALLY affordable!

  I bought my dress from Camille la Vie. They were very helpful in my search for the dress. Consultant was friendly.

  For the price and quality of dresses you really can't beat Camille La Vie. Are they going to wait on you hand and foot like some other bridal stores... no but to me that was really a plus because after a few appointments all of the pushy dress vendors got really annoying and I just wanted to make the choice on my own. I loved my dress and nobody could believe the price I got it at.

  I went to Camille's several times to look at dresses and fell in love with one. I attended a bridal show and met one of the managers during my visit. She asked which dress I was interested in and mentioned to me if I was willing to wait that particular dress would be on sale soon. Of course, I patiently window shopped for weeks and at last my dress was on sale. I purchased my dress from Camille's 9 months before my wedding. The alterations lady worked with my schedule and did a wonderful job on my alterations. I had the most unique beautiful bustle for my mermaid dress. I did have some difficulty getting into contact with the bridal department. But my persistence paid off and everyone I worked with was very helpful. My dress looked fabulous on.

  I initially had problems with the store. I was not treated professionally at all. I didn't get to try on any of the dresses that I had picked out. I felt like it was a huge waste of mine and my bridesmaid's time. The only reason I went back was because I love their dresses so much and they were at a very reasonable cost. I worked with Veronica the second time and was very pleased with her service to me. The alterations department is excellent as well. My overall rating is from my second visit on, not my first vist.

  We purchased out bridesmaids dresses here because we wanted something a little more unique than the average bridesmaid's dresses. The prices are a little high, but the quality of dresses are worth the price.

  The dresses are beautiful and very reasonably priced. The seamstress did a great job on my bustle. That is where the positive things end. They didn't have the dress in my size at the Houston location, so they ordered it from Dallas and they said it was in good condition. They said it would take about 2 weeks for it to come in and they would call me to come pick it up. When I called after 3 weeks they told me I had to pay the deposit and order it, which I had already done. Then they said they didn't have my dress, but called back later to say they had found it. When I went to pick it up, they put it behind the counter in the bag and made me pay for it and then let me leave. I took it home and never put it on, but looked and found dirt (looked like sweat stains) under the armpits. Every time I called to ask about it, I got a different story from the workers: we'll give you a refund, we'll take money off of your bustle, we'll clean it for free. The managers were never there when I went so they would call me the next day and say that they couldn't actually do what the workers had promised. In the end, they ordered me a new dress from the manufacturer and it had no stains on it, but they weren't willing to give me a discount on the price of the dress, even after the hours on the phone I had spent with them and the countless false things they had told me.

  This was the worst service I received during my entire wedding. The staff is unprofessional and none of them have any experience or clue what they are doing. I didn't need alterations (except for bustling) on my dress because I am tall and it fit just right. Therefore I was told to bring my dress in a few days before my wedding and they would steam it for free. I dropped my dress off on the Thursday before my Saturday wedding where I was told it would be steamed then set overnight to dry. They took my dress and name and number but after I was halfway home, they called me and required that I drive back up to leave my receipt before they would touch the dress. After some complaining, they said they would just look the receipt up in their system and then told me it will then cost $25 to steam. I said that I would be back first thing in the morning and they told me the alterations person would show me how to bustle the train. When I went back Friday, the dress hadn't even been steamed or bustled! The manager claimed it was steamed but it clearly had not been touched. I had to call around and get someone to do an emergency bustle and steam on it. Thank god my awesome MOH found a place that got it done in 8 hours. I will NEVER go to Camille la Vie again and I highly recommend if you do buy a dress from them, get it online and then get it altered somewhere else. It is not worth the money or hassle from a bunch of inexperienced, lying youngsters who have no clue how to run a bridal business.

  The service is terrible

  On a fiends recommendation we drove 2 hours to go to this store. The selection was good and my daughter found a dress.
  The saleswoman rang it up and put it in the bag on the hanger. We didn't notice until we arrived home and took it out to show her dad that they had left the security device on. I am now having to pay someone to drive the dress back up there to get it removed.....all at my cost. Definitely would not recommend going there unless you live close enough to make a second trip easily. The cost of the dress just went up $50.

  TERRIBLE!!!
  
  I paid a lot for my dress and had to keep it at the store for about 2 months to finalize payments. When I arrived to pick it up, it took them well over 45 mins just to find my dress in the back. They bring it out and I take it home. Eager to pull it out and look at it, so i do. But when I look over it, there was makeup stains all over the top inside chest area and it wasnt there when I tried it on because it was a brand new dress when I tried it on and it wasnt even my shade. I continued looking and found multiple tears, beads missing, and messups on the dress. I brought it back to exchange it and of course, they only had one dress in the WHOLE UNITED STATES that matched my size and dress type and that one was supposed to be brand new. They ordered it for me and it was beautiful, the color was perfect (the other one looked dingy and worn). I was so happy to see it, while it was in the bag. But when I put it on, it was WAY to small! The clerks couldnt even zip it up. So I asked if there was anyway to trade for another dress the same price and instead of trying to work with me, they immediately said no! So I was stuck with a $1500 dress that didnt fit. I ended up taking it to alterations which was another $250! All because the vendor couldnt help me!
  
  I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!!!
