Heather and Calluna Fine Flowers came highly recommend by our wedding venue, the Cliff House Maine, and when we walked into her shop and met Heather, we instantly knew why. Heather had this amazing personality and friendliness about her that was so welcoming, you felt as though she had known you forever. We explained who we were and prayed she was available for our May 2020 wedding date and lucky for us she was! We really had a very little idea of what we were thinking for theme or color, but generally gave her some idea of what we were thinking. She ran around and showed us beautiful ideas and we were sold. We kept in touch as I decided on exactly what we wanted to do for flowers as we got closer and then as we all know, Covid hit! Then May turned into we don’t know, but Heather stood by us through it all. Finally we decided we were not going to wait any longer and booked our wedding in August. So of course flowers changed and colors too, but OMG!! What amazing bouquets, boutonnières and arrangements....simply breathtaking! I loved every minute of working with Heather, her personality, her calming demeanor, her ability to take my husband’s jokes!! Lol From step one to the moment she delivered the flowers, I cannot express in words how wonderful my experience was with Heather and Calluna Flowers and Gifts. -

Gorgeously memorable wedding flower perfection
I can't say enough about Calluna Fine Flowers. Heather was incredible from our first meeting, to my wedding day when she personally handed me my stunning bouquet. I have to admit, I'm that girl that didn't even want flowers at my wedding. To my mom and sister's horror I was all "can't we just clip some branches off trees and pick up a thing of roses at the grocery store or something". Yeah, that was me.
Heather changed all that. (If you have any questions, she is always there to answer with a warm response). I told her I wanted a neutral, green/white/grey palate of flowers with glass hobnob vases and burlap accents, nothing too fussy, but no idea what I wanted beyond that. Oh! and flower crowns for the flower girls.
The flowers she chose and the arrangements she designed were absolutely breathtaking. So much so, that my wedding was 3 years ago, and I'm STILL thinking about them so much I'm writing this review!
At the end of the day, the flowers are one of the things that stood out most as a wonderful surprise on our wedding day. We got so many compliments on the centerpieces (and my bouquet!) that people were snatching them up at the end of the night to take home because they were so beautiful.

Amazing - more than exceeded our expectations
Heather at Calluna flowers was just amazing. She listened to our vision of what we wanted the day to look like and she more than delivered. The flowers more than exceeded my expectations. She was also helpful in helping us figure out how to best allocate our budget in choosing beautiful flowers, where to spend more, and where we could easily cut back. Would recommend 100%. -

Heather and her team were the ideal floral partner--starting with the planning all the way through to the execution on our wedding day. The arrangements were beyond beautiful--each piece was carefully and stunningly arranged and placed. Heather worked with my very "raw" ideas and transformed them into my greatest dream. I highly recommend Calluna for any of your floral needs. -

Wonderful wedding florist!
Heather was an absolute pleasure to work with - from the moment we met to discuss ideas to the day of when she delivered the most perfect, natural looking arrangements. She understood our vision perfectly, and had no problem timing the deliveries at both the church and the reception site, even though the tent was still being set up that day. The flowers were just gorgeous, and she chose the perfect shades of pink!! Nothing was overlooked, even down to the details of ribbons, vase shapes, etc. Thank you, Heather! -

Heather treated our two bouquets, 3 boutonnieres and 6 small table arrangements as if it were 500 person, black tie affair. From her careful consultation (Who knew their were so many shades of orange!?) to her hand delivering the bouquets to my hotel room, she was the model of responsive professionalism. Our flowers were more than I could have imagined; creative, gorgeous, fresh and very affordable! Just take a look for yourself...

I wanted very few flowers and a casual vibe, but with strong design. She delivered completely - with rented and purchased and custom decorated elements that made the entire evening incredibly special. Heather was so easy to work with, and offered great insights that perfectly fit with what I had envisioned for my bridal party and centerpiece flowers. Great Wedding Florist
We used Calluna Fine Flowers for our May 2019 wedding at The Red Barn at Outlook Farm in South Berwick. Heather was wonderful to work with from day one. She had some great recommendations for us during our first meeting at her shop, especially for a couple like us who really didn’t know what we actually wanted for flowers. We went with all her recommendations and everything turned out better than we ever imagined! We were shocked how enormous and full the bride’s bouquet was and we were thrilled with how well the mantel arrangements and centerpieces blended with and accented the venue. Heather’s flower expertise was a huge asset to planning our special day and would highly recommend to other couples in the southern Maine area! -

Lisa Sent on 08/29/2009I found Calluna Flowers through the Seacoast Bride magazine and her designs were amazing. Vibrant, unique, and beautiful.
I am a "green bride" which meant that I tried to make everything about my wedding as eco-friendly as possible. Heather from Calluna was not well-versed in this area, and she was upfront about this. I have to say it is not easy because to be totally green you have to use local flowers, they have to be seasonal, be grown without pesticides, and no floral foam or wire used in the arrangements. This made her job a lot more difficult. She did end up using local and seasonal flowers (even got me Dahlias after a crazy rainy season up there) BUT she conveyed to me that it was frustrating to her. She did not make a lot of time to meet with me while I was visiting with vendors in February (the only time I'd be up before the wedding), she was short in her email communications, and I felt I was bothering her when I called. This could just be her personality, but I did not like feeling brushed off.
I am a difficult bride, I admit, and Heather went above and beyond to get me what I wanted, including cutting flowers from her own garden to complete the ideal, "green" design. In the end, the flowers were AMAZING. I would highly recommend Calluna. My bouquet was so perfect I did not want to put it down!
