Great experience!

We chose to work with Andrew after having a very positive and informative zoom meeting. We chose the wonderful wedding package and with Andrew's help we were able to customize the script just the way we wanted. Our wedding took place this June at The Gardens at Heather Farm in Walnut Creek. Andrew arrived well before our scheduled start time and the ceremony itself was beautiful. He took care of mailing our marriage license and kept us updated on its arrival. Highly recommend Andrew to officiate your future wedding!

Amazing experience

Andrew Allen was absolutely amazing! We loved our customized ceremony script. He was very easy to contact, and was quick to respond to any questions and concerns. Very Professional and made our wedding day everything and more than we expected. Would Highly recommend to our family and friends.

Beyond satisfaction

At start Mr. Andrew was very patient with us customizing our special customized wedding vow after confirming the date with us. Then he gave us suggestions of location to pick when we told him that we would like San Francisco City Hall. At that date, he walked with us in the City Hall to pick the perfect spot at that time. Overall, very satisfied with the experience. Thanks again!

Professional wedding officiant

My husband and I had reached out to Andrew before the pandemic to officiate our wedding that was supposed to be in May 2020. He was super quick to respond and very helpful. We met in person at a coffee shop and got to know him a little better and he showed us examples of how he would officiate our ceremony. Our wedding ended up being postponed twice due to covid and he was patient and understanding both times. We were finally able to get married May this year and he did a wonderful job officiating. The ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect. We were able to pick and choose what we wanted him to say and tailor it to fit our style for the ceremony. Andrew made things easy and smooth for us. We highly recommend him!

Pontual and lovely

Andrew Allen was amazing! My husband and I really appreciate his job as an officiant. We knew after our first talk with Andrew he would be our officiant. He replied fast all of our messages and wrote the best ceremony for us, knowing I am Brazilian he made everything easier for me. Perfect for us, matching our personalities. Our ceremony was short, he helped us with a perfect spot and full of love.

Mr. Andrew Allen -The Best Wedding Officiant

We get married last December 29, 2019. We never met Mr. Andrew in person prior to our wedding. We communicated only through sms and emails and he was so helpful in any questions we asked from him. During our wedding day, he was so professional he arrived an hour before our wedding, he was the first person that arrived to our wedding venue. We are HIGHLY SATISFIED with his services that he conducted during our wedding ceremony. We intend to get his services again when we have our renewal of vows in the future.

Amazing officiant!!!

My husband and I got married last Dec 2019 at SF City Hall. Similar to the experiences of other couples, prior our wedding day, instead of just speaking to us via email and throwing us a wedding script, he made time to meet us, took time to run through and explain each part of the ceremony, and gave us the flexibility to choose parts we want/didn't want, which made our day more meaningful. Not once did I feel like we were just another client to him, that everything is just another transaction.

I unfortunately didn't get to hire a wedding coordinator and was (secretly) stressing out on a particular vendor present during the ceremony, so I was surprised to see Andrew speaking to them, explaining the flow of the ceremony. He didn't have to do that (and I didn't ask him to) but I genuinely appreciate that he did because it was one less thing for this bridezilla to think about and coordinate on the day of our wedding. :-)

White Wedding

Andrew did a wonderful job at our wedding. He arrived early, made both of us feel very comfortable and prepared, and he even mingled with our guests.

His script for our wedding, of which we had plenty of input, was very heartfelt and beautiful.

Following the wedding, he ensured all the required paperwork was completed---paperwork he quickly mailed to the county of our residence to make everything official.

I would highly recommend Andrew for your upcoming nuptials. He is very punctual, professional and prepared. You will not be disappointed.

Andrew was amazing! Very professional, responsive to messages, and incredibly flexible and accommodating to our sometimes uncertain timing. Very easy to talk to and really made our day special. My wife, Teresa and I, had the pleasure of having Andrew be our officiant for our wedding in San Francisco city hall on October 25th. There aren't enough words to describe the wonderful ceremony that Andrew provided for us. From the beginning, he is very communicative and helpful. I am so grateful that he was able to come up with a lovely script for our unity sand ceremony on the day of as I totally forgot to tell him that we had planned to do that. Friendly, knowledgable and approachable

Quality and Competence

We are quite pleased with our experience with this officiant. Our ceremony was overall simple, which is how we wanted it, and while we had a very informal plan on how it was organized, Mr. Allen was capable of fitting right in and going with the flow. As this was essentially a backyard wedding, we did not have a microphone system in place, but this proved to be a non-issue. The paperwork was handled efficiently and professionally. We can safely say that you are in good hands should you choose to pick this officiant.

Personalized and Perfect

Finding an officiant to blend two religious backgrounds and traditions - Catholic and Jewish - is tricky at best. However, from day 1 of planning we knew Andrew was the right choice. Simply perfect

We got married in April 2019, and I can't stress enough how happy we have been to have Andrew as our officiant. During the wedding preparation, we was extremely professional and organized, always available and willing to help.

My True Love

Seamless Process

Great officiant to work with

It was great to have Andrew as our wedding officiant. We wanted to make sure that our ceremony both did and didn't include certain things, and he worked with us to create a script that we really loved. He had a lot of experience as an officiant, and provided us with a lot of great options and ideas for the ceremony that we weren't even aware of before.

He was also a delight to work with throughout the process. He initially arranged a meeting to take us through his approach, ceremony options, and to get to know each other. Then we sent him our requests for items we wanted to include or take out of the ceremony, which he incorporated. On the day itself, he showed up on time, was very professional, and officiated the ceremony in a way that was very touching to our guests.

We really appreciated how smooth and stress-free it was to work with him, because when we were planning our wedding there were so many other things we had to worry about instead!

Everything we were looking for

Andrew really helped and guided us through the process, we are from the UK and didn't know much about how things work in the US. He also was really patient and understanding on the day, didn't rush us at all and in general made us feel very comfortable. After the ceremony he sent us all the documents the next day and also provided lots of advise as to how to receive the certificate in the UK. We would really reccomend Andrew to anyone looking for a calm, responsible and goodhearted officient - we were really lucky to have found him. Thanks Andrew, you made everything so much easier for us (considering how many things could have gone wrong when you're eloping abroad!).

Andrew was such an awesome Officiant and my husband and I were every delighted wih him! He is very understanding and so quick to respond! He listened to everything we wanted and chose his words to match our vibe of the wedding :) His goofy demeanor definitely makes you feel comfortable infront of your friends and family so that the ceremony glides through and is not at all boring! Andrew did a great job officiating our wedding! We interviewed several officiants on our way to finding Andrew. Most wanted to sing at our wedding, make it religious, charged far too much, or refused to work with a wedding planner.

When we initially called Andrew, we were relieved that he was a normal guy who just wanted to make our wedding perfect for us. He provided us with a sample script and provided us with resources to write our own vows. We ended up revising the sample script with bits and pieces from other samples we found.

He was professional, genuine, affordable, easy to work with, quick to respond, and showed up on time. Not much more we could've asked for in our officiant. He also sent in our licence for us and provided us with the tracking number for it after the wedding. We'd definitely recommend Andrew!

What can i say about Andrew... Amazing, Talented, Patient, and very Sweet!! Since the beginning, i knew he was the Officiant for us. When we met in person he was so excited about weddings that i knew this was the guy i wanted, someone as passionate about that day as we were. I am catholic and my husband is christian, so Andrew came up with the perfect mixed ceremony for us that gave us the best of both worlds. He was very professional on the day of the wedding but also found ways to make us smile!! Plus he took care of all the paperwork after the ceremony. He's Perfect!! Thank you so much Andrew!!

We contacted Andrew on very short notice and he was still able to accommodate our needs. The personalization of the “vows” was great, he kept our guests laughing and into the ceremony (which we know can sometimes drag on). He was extremely professional, kind and very affordable! We are grateful he wedded us and would definitely recommend him to anyone! Thank you again Andrew!!

Andrew was wonderful to work with. He came out of his way to meet with us and was very open to our thoughts on how we wanted the ceremony to go.

At the very last minute my parents decided they wanted to walk with me down the isle and Andrew did not blink an eye and rolled with it like it had been the plan all along.

With what we thought was very limited information he was able to create an absolutely beautiful memorable ceremony ...we could not have asked for more. We were so lucky to have Andrew as our Wedding Officiant on the big day. Andrew is very professional, patient and easy to work with. He gave us a lot good tips and suggestions during the Facetime meeting (we totally forgot to get our marriage license until he reminded us!). He's very punctual for the online meeting and arrived 2.5 hours earlier on the wedding day. Andrew's calm energy and sense of humor let us through a smooth and elegant ceremony. He sent out the marriage license to the county clerk the next day as he promised. Highly recommended! :)

He was very professional, punctual, great communication, and with a sense of humor. We asked him to step out of his comfort zone by adding a few portions of the ceremony in Spanish, and he did great. We are very pleased and thankful for his amazing job at our wedding. Would definitely recommend him, you won't be disappointed.

Andrew was an excellent choice for us, performing a wonderful service exactly what we had in mind. Andrew was very personable meeting with us in person (before we settled on our officiant) to get good understanding of our thoughts and helping us feel comfortable with what kind of ceremony he can perform. Andrew was very patient providing us guidance customizing sample scripts from which to work from helping us create a truly special ceremony all our own. Andrew was very accommodating easily adjusting to our changing plans, such as our decisions not to use a podium to make the alter more photogenic requiring him to work more from memory and notes, and not to use a sound system as the venue acoustics were better without requiring him to project more clearly. We would highly recommend considering Andrew for your officiant.

Andrew was truly the best. He was patient, flexible, kind, thoughtful and able to effectuate our intent. We chose a secular service with some elements of Reform Judaism and Andrew was able to perfect the right balance. He did not try to dissuade us from what we wanted like other officiants may try to do and he connected with us on a personal level - even taking the time to skype with us in advance to meet us - that made the day so special. We feel so blessed to have Andy as our Wedding Officiant. We had a little misunderstanding with the county clerk's office, anyway we had to change the venue, we were almost panic, but thank to Andy who looked it up quick and came up with this nice and natural place....we enjoyed him so much, he was so patient, nice and calm to lead us through this nervous but exciting event. We booked Andrew for our wedding that was 7/30. We meet with Andrew very early in the planning process and stayed in contact for months prior. We had wedding venue and wedding date changes and Andrew just rolled with the punches.

Andrew was amazing! Monica and I were so happy we found Andrew. After doing a search on Wedding Wire for an officiant, we came across Andrew which felt like a good match. Andrew was quick to respond to my inquiry and exceptionally friendly. I think the first time Andrew and I spoke over the phone, we spoke for more than 20 minutes just getting to know each other and feeling each other out. We live in Martinez and Andrew is out of Brentwood and Andrew offered to come out to us but we countered to meet him in Brentwood. We met in person at a neutral location and there Monica and I got to talk with Andrew more.

Andrew was just as polite and friendly in person as he was over the phone. Andrew explained to us how everything works and showed us a sample of the script he was going to use for the ceremony. Andrew was so flexible in making changes we requested for certain cultural traditions for our ceremony. Andrew even offered us to choose his attire for the wedding.

On the wedding day, Andrew arrived early and ready to go. He had a calming demeanor about him which helped me and my wife stay calm throughout the ceremony. After the ceremony, Andrew helped us complete all the proper paperwork which he filed for us the next day because he just so happened to be by the county clerk's office.

I can't say anything more about Andrew. He was easy to communicate with via email and just an overall great officiant and amazing person.

Andrew was very personable and really listened to what we wanted in a ceremony. He also gave us some alternative options that we didn't even know existed, such as a sand ceremony. He came up with the perfect ceremony for our wedding. He also gave helpful direction as to what steps are required and his website includes links to obtain the proper paperwork. We very much appreciated his help and enjoyed talking and working with Andrew.

I have known Andrew professionally and personally for some years. Shortly after getting engaged I noticed a facebook post he made stating he was now performing wedding ceremonies. Naturally knowing him and the soulful person that he is I contacted him to see if he was available for my wedding. And he was ... I was so happy.

He made the process easy, and pleasurable. He asked important questions to figure out the best. Ceremony for us. He was open to adding or changing anything I wanted.

Our wedding ceremony came off without a hitch and was very successful thanks in part to Andrew Allen for not only being a professional at his craft. We booked Andrew for our last minute Thanksgiving wedding. We are glad we did. He was early, prepared and flexible. I'm also glad he had the forethought to ask what he should wear to our last minute event. Even though our ceremony was planned in a hurry, you wouldn't know it. It was a pleasure to have Andrew as our wedding officiant! He spoke well and made any adjustments to the "script" per our request. Andrew is a very friendly, spiritual, and caring person and his personal touches to our wedding made the ceremony much more memorable. Andrew did a great job and was responsive to our many emails and changes as well as offering advice as we ironed out our many details. The readings and transitions withing our ceremony appeared seamless and he was very flexible even though our event ran over an hour behind. We only reason we gave 4.5 on quality is due to a couple of hiccups and confusion with differences in the sequence of the ceremony start, but we take partial blame for that as we didnt insist he attend our rehearsal or get to touch base with him again prior to it which could have prevented that and led to everyone being on the same page. We would definitely recommend him to others as professional and timely, as well as someone who would make your event memorable.

Professional and just enough

We were looking for an officiant that would allow us a little bit of freedom with our "script" but was able to provide a general baseline that would accommodate a variety of beliefs and guests. Andrew was great! He was responsive, professional, and very informative. I actually forgot the one thing you NEED - the marriage license. He went above and beyond to make sure we FedExed the document timely and kept me informed the entire time. We are grateful he was a part of our special day.
