Beautiful arrangement

Calico did beautiful work for my bouquet, my centerpieces, and all other arrangements at our wedding. Elise knew what looked good and gave creative ideas to make our wedding extra special. Plants and flowers are important to me. She was able to recreate my inspiration from pinterest. Highly recommend them for any special event!!!!

Beautiful Arrangements

I am so happy I decided to go with Elise at Calico for my wedding florals. She was so helpful at our initial meeting as we discussed my vision and she took me through the options and her thoughts on how she can pull it all together. She even showed me a couple of the centerpieces she was working on and I ended up loving something she was working on, which was very helpful since I didn't have any clue what I wanted to do there. When my flowers were delivered on my wedding day, everything she put together was more beautiful than I could have imagined.

Elise is amazing!!!

Elise at Calico was amazing to work with for our wedding in April! She answered questions in a timely manner, worked with our budget and did not try to upsell us on anything. I also want to add that she has such a calming presence. When I went in to pay in cash 2 days before my wedding, I had been really stressed about typical wedding things, but sitting down with her honestly calmed my nerves. She's so inviting and also knows her stuff! She and her team put together the most beautiful bouquets and centerpieces and really helped my vision come to life. I cannot say enough good things about Elise and Calico! Would def recommend!

One word... WOW

When I booked David's Country Inn for my 2021 wedding, I was so thrilled to see Calico as a preferred vendor. My step-mother and Father had used Calico for years, and even for their own wedding! So it was a no-brainer that I booked Elise/Calico immediately.

At no point was I worried that Elise wouldn't be able to pull together the wedding flowers of my dreams, which wasn't easy! I had gone with all different Fall colors for my 11 bridesmaids, making it not the easiest task, but I knew I was in the best of hands with Calico. And boy, I was NOT disappointed! Bringing these bridesmaids' colors together relied on the flowers/colors I had picked out and when seeing the entire final product, I was in awe. It was everything I imagined and I still get compliments for it. Thank you Elise and the Calico team for making my day, the best day!

The absolute best!

Elise at Calico Country Flowers was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was so patient and took so much time to work with me on my vision for my wedding. Her services were very affordable, and the quality of her arrangements were better than others I have seen throughout the years that were double/ triple the price. I cannot thank her and her crew enough. The floral arrangements turned out absolutely beautiful, i received so many compliments throughout the night.

Wonderful from start to finish. Elise is great. Spent so much time with us on the first day of discussions that we knew we wanted her to do our flowers. As it got closer to wedding, she went over every detail and answered all our questions. Flowers were beautiful. Couldn’t have asked for better.

Trust Elise!

Elise is the best! Truly. We knew we wanted colorful, small bouquets but knew nothing about flowers. Elise was incredibly patient in helping us talk through our vision and suggesting flowers. The stunning altar arrangements she made added such beautiful color to all of our photos, as did the bouquets. They added the cheeriness and vibrancy we wanted and we are so thankful to Elise for her truly thorough and perfect work. Moreover, her prices are so affordable and reasonable! Thank you, Elise!

Best florist!

We hired Calico Flowers to create the centerpieces and bouquets for our wedding. Working with Elise was great! She was professional and didn't try to upsell us. When we went for out consultation she listened to my vision and even created samples while we were there so we exactly what the flowers were going to look like on the day of the Wedding. Elise is also incredibly accommodating, we made slight changes to the color scheme and she went with it without complaint. Lastly, I was impressed by her knowledge. When I was showing Elise pictures of potential arrangements she knew exactly which flowers were oictired and was even able to maie suggestions for alternatives that would better fit the budget or look we werre going for.

Totally Exceeded Expedtations

Elise and the rest of Calico Country Flowers were an absolute dream to work with. Flowers are definitely not my specialty and I had absolutely no idea what I was looking for. With almost no direction, Elise picked out the most amazing combinations to get my girls and I the perfect bouquets. I could not have dreamed up anything better. The condition of the flowers was literally perfect and she drove to 3 different locations to make sure everyone had what we needed for the morning of. She was very responsive to my emails and calls and everything went so smoothly. She exceeded my expectations for a great price and I would recommend Calico to anyone for any type of event.

Amazing; couldn’t have asked for more!

Highly exceeded expectations. I wanted peonies which are not cheap and Calico worked within my budget to get me the flowers I wanted and they were GORGEOUS!! She mixed in peonies with the perfect other flowers to keep my vision within budget. Most other florists wanted to turn me away because I “only” wanted flowers for the wedding party and not centerpieces.

Inspired designs and passionate service. So happy!

Elise and her team at Calico Country Flowers delivered stunning arrangements on the day of our wedding, and the design process was a breeze. From our first meeting, it was clear that Elise truly cared. My now-husband and I knew very little about flowers, and she knew exactly what to ask to help us articulate our vision. We talked about colors, textures, style, and budget - with Elise offering creative suggestions to help us reduce costs without sacrificing. The team was accessible and responsive, honest, hard-working, and professional through and through. When we began planning our wedding, we wanted to be able to compare florists, and we made appointments with two shops. The differences in care, expertise, and product offered by Calico Country Flowers made the choice easy for us, and we were thrilled with our entire experience.

So amazing!

Elise was nothing short of amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process! I first met with her with a rough idea of what I wanted. She immediately got the look I was going for. After the first meeting with her, I knew I had found my florist. Elise is so friendly, professional and experienced. The day of the wedding she arrived early, made sure I was happy with everything and did all of the set up. When I saw the finished product I couldn’t have been happier. There’s a reason Elise has been in this business for so long.

What can I say about Elise?? The most beautiful flowers and arrangements ever!! She did all of our flowers at our wedding. From the bouquets, to the ceremony flowers to the centerpieces. Words can’t describe how beautiful they were. Elise was so helpful in every way. I sent her a picture of what I wanted and she matched everything so perfectly!! Thank you Elise for everything! Elise and the staff were nothing short of amazing! When I went for my initial consultation, I had no vision of what I wanted my flowers for my wedding to look like... and when I walked out the door, my mom and I looked at each other and said let’s call them as soon as we get home to book it! Elise never tried to oversell us on decorations, she was really just focused on making things look beautiful and keeping the day happy and easy! And my husband even keeps talking about how much he loved the flowers! Anytime I need any kind of floral arrangement in the future, Calico will get my business!

I came to Calico a little late to the game when I found out that my venue would not be able to do my bouquets. Elise was amazing. While planning a wedding you will learn that sitting a table with a vendor or business owner who is easy to talk to is amazing. Some people will make you feel more anxious or nervous then necessary - Elise made me feel like family. The flowers were beautiful and you can really tell she has a passion for what she does. Thank you very much!

Could not recommend Calico Country Flowers and Elise (owner) more! She came highly recommended from a former bride, and I couldn't be happier that we used her services for our wedding. Not knowing much about flowers, Elise was patient with me and showed me a variety of flower options within my price range. Definitely received the best value, super affordable for great arrangements! Calico did the centerpieces as part of my wedding package at David's Country Inn, and also did our bouquets and boutonnieres. Elise is very talented at what she does and spent a lot of time with me reviewing different options and making suggestions based on our wedding theme/style and budget. Our flowers were absolutely gorgeous and a great value (my mother-in-law was a florist for 20 years and said the price was unbeatable). Very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend!

Calico Country Flowers was recommended to me by another bride who was very happy with the service they provided. The owner, Elise Holck, sat down with me and listened to everything I said, took every detail into account, was respectful of my budget, and was just a pleasure to work with. Even a few days before when I found out there was a change to the ceremony site, Elise was able to accommodate the changes without changing my budget. She was easy to get in touch with and always took the time to meet with me when I needed. I never felt rushed and was confident with all my decisions. Elise was very knowledgeable and made suggestions that kept me within my budget but also let me know all the options I had. The day of my wedding, Elise was right on time and my bouquet's were gorgeous. The ceremony site and venue were beautiful. I loved everything Elise did and she truly made my wedding special.

After 7 appointments with different florists, I feared I might be settling until my mom suggest Calico. When I met with Elise, she first asked what my dream floral arrangements were and we went from there. She was just below my budget (yay!) and also below the other seven florists, but I didn’t have to skimp on my vision - she understood what I was looking for and she was able to make it happen. She was very responsive to my communication and gave me helpful tips to save money. I appreciated the care and interest she took in our wedding and she made me feel like such a special bride! She delivered the bouquets and boutonnieres and they looked great! It was a pleasure working with Elise and I recommend her for brides looking to make their floral dream come true especially within a budget.

We used Calico Country Florist for our wedding and could not have been happier. Elise and her staff are amazing and did a great job with the bouquets and centerpieces. We met with Elise a few times to go over the details, and she could not have been more helpful. Her experience was obvious and with her help, we were able to come up with great flower combinations that were within our budget. She suggested great flower choices and explained to us how all the flowers would work with each other. We were very impressed and highly recommend Calico.

We used Calico for our recent outdoor wedding and cannnot say enough nice things about them! They were very easy to work with and knew exactly what we were looking for! Multiple people came up to me during the wedding to compliment the flowers and how perfectly they fit the event! Calico was extremely reasonably priced for an excellent job! Would recommend them for any event! I had been to a wedding who used them in the past and remember thinking how much the flowers added to that wedding as well! Great florist and great experience!!

I have used Calico Country Flowers in Hackettstown for many different occasions; birthdays,funerals, Nurses Day, etc. So when it came to planning flowers for my wedding I knew exactly who I wanted to provide my flowers. And to no surprise at all I was once again very impressed. Elyse from Calico flowers is a genuis!!!! She put together my center pieces, bouquets, and parents corsage. Elyse was amazing to work with! She listened to my ideas and we came up with a beautful and different center piece. My bouquet and my girls bouquets were stunning! She even did 3 corsages for my mom and my husbands mom and step mom. She was right on the ball when it came to what time she would deliver the flowers and set up the center pieces. I had betta fish in my center peice and she was able to get the fish and fish food!!! Elyse was very efficient and lovely to work with. I forgot roses for my rose ceremony to give to our moms and I called Elyse the evening before the wedding and she said it was no problem and she would bring me two roses, which she did!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed working with Elyse and would recommend Calico Country Flowers for any occasion or event, they are wonderful people to work with and have the most amazing flowers!!!

Elise and her team are amazing! I had my first meeting with Elise to get a quote and another one to confirm everything. I had issue after issue with my car breaking down, traffic, running late and Elise was always understanding. She made my wedding look phenomenal and the price couldn't be beat.

Elise was such a please to work with and our flowers were AMAZING!! She was so easy to work with and did a great job in helping me to find the perfect combination of flowers for our wedding. We had so many colors and everything came together better than I could have every imagined. Absolute professionals! My wedding was a small one, so I did not have many needs by way of flowers (I had no bridal party and no need for centerpieces). Still, my meeting with Elise was thorough and unhurried. Even the friendly store dog joined us. Elise had a thorough knowledge of flowers, and quickly understood what I wanted as I showed her my slideshow of inspiration pictures. She was also very careful to write detailed notes on the family members that would be receiving flowers. On the day of, all boutonnieres and corsages were carefully labeled so they could be easily distributed, and my bouquet was out-of-this-world beautiful. Exactly how I pictured it. I could not have been more pleased with the professionalism or the beauty of the flowers. Just divine.

Elise was amazing!!! She spend an hour just during the initial meeting. She was helpful in directing me in choosing flowers. (I had no idea what I wanted). She was just as helpful during the second meeting and the final review. She was very professional but comfortable and all the flowers showed up on time and at the correct locations! She also put our table names in the centerpieces for us. Wonderful!!!

Elyse and her team did a great job with both my ceremony flowers and centerpiece setup. Elyse walks you through every step of the wedding, does not pressure you to spend more, and the results are amazing! I was so impressed every step of the way.

Amazing florist!!! Elsie was so nice and sat with us and made our budget work. NOt many florist try to keep you in your budget and tell you you can't have nice flowers unless you spend a fortune! Everyone at Calico was super helpful.

Calico did an awesome job on our centerpieces! Everyone at Calico was nothing but helpful and innovative in their designs. I highly recommend them. They were also very reasonably priced, which was great for our tight budget.

A great little flower shop in Hackettstown, NJ. They were recommended to me by 2 of my friends who knew brides who have used them and were very happy. The owner is very nice and she meets with you personally. She makes sure everything is perfect. She took very good care of us and our flowers were beautiful. I got real flowers for everyone and silk for myself. No one could tell that my flowers were not real. They were shocked when I told them after the wedding that mine were silk.

Elise was very helpful. The flowers were fresh (they lasted for days afterwards.) I enjoyed her help immensely. Everything coordinated and looked beautiful.

Flowers where about the average price but she did a beatiful job. She is a vendor you would want to go back to again.

Flowers brought my "Garden Romance" wedding theme to life!

Elyse at Calico Country Flowers was a pleasure to work with. All of our flowers were absolutely beautiful the day of and played a major role in helping my “Garden Romance” theme come to life. I couldn’t believe how knowledgeable she was throughout the entire planning process with types of flowers/colors/proportions/etc. She was kind enough to make a sample centerpiece to ensure I would be happy with the final product. In addition, she wanted to present my bridal bouquet to me the morning of my wedding to make sure everything turned out how I imagined. I never thought flowers could make me emotional- but Elyse and her team did an amazing job and exceeded our expectations!

Great service

Elise was so easy to work with. She made time in her busy schedule to take me as a walk in and go through pictures of every flower she would use in my bouquet. She worked with my budget to create beautiful flowers for my wedding. Unfortunately my boutonnières looked a little bit wilted upon pickup and although she tried to spray them to perk them back up, the never did. The bouquets for me and the girls were perfect though.

I was disappointed with the quality of the flowers when we received them on the day of the wedding.

The flowers were browned on the edges.

When she came to the venue to replace the bridal bouquet, she did dress up the wedding cake with roses, which was nice!

Elise and the rest of the staff at Calico are very nice and easy to work with, but the quality on the day of left me a little disappointed.

And, please get email! The email on the website doesn't work!! It would be so much easier to communicate if there was a digital means of communication rather than calling on the phone or making an appointment to stop in to the shop.
