Joel was absolutely phenomenal and exceeded every expectation we had for a wedding DJ. From our very first phone call, we clicked right away and knew he was the right choice for us based on his positive energy, enthusiasm, and flexibility. He seamlessly handled both our ceremony and reception music, keeping everything flowing perfectly. Joel brought such great energy to the day, and his voice and presence as an emcee was engaging, lively, and not overbearing. His taste in music is fantastic—not only did he nail our must-play list, but he also added amazing songs in a similar style that fit the vibe perfectly. He created an incredible atmosphere that kept the dance floor full all night long, and many of our guests commented on how great the music was. We couldn’t recommend Joel more highly! -

We cannot recommend Cali West DJs enough. From the very beginning, he was professional, organized, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. He was responsive to our questions, thoughtful about our vision, and clearly experienced.
On the day of the event, he delivered. He did an excellent job reading the room and keeping the energy up all night. He created an amazing atmosphere and brought great vibes from start to finish. We are so grateful for his role in making our wedding such a fun and memorable celebration. Thank you Joel! -

Joel was amazing!
Joel was everything we could've ever asked for!!! His music selection was amazing! There were absolutely no technical issues, he even assisted with other vendors at our wedding. His questionnaire was very helpful, and allowed us to give him a picture of our selection, and the freedom to do what he does best. -

We had the best experience with Joel! From start to finish, he was professional, easy to work with, and kept the energy going all night long. He played everything we wanted, read the crowd perfectly, and made sure the dance floor was never empty. The transitions were smooth, the song choices were spot-on, and everything ran on time. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ to help us celebrate—highly recommend! -

We are forever grateful that Joel agreed to take our wedding on last-minute! With just a few week's notice, he was able to put together an awesome day for us. We do not recommend putting your DJ search off until the last minute, but if you must, Joel is your guy! I'm not sure how he did it, but he created the perfect vibe with a brilliantly curated playlist, after only knowing us for a short amount of time. Thank you, Joel, for being a true professional and a master of your craft! -

So glad I chose Cali West Djs for my wedding..Joel was super cool and easy to talk to. He was available to take to anytime I called with questions, and most importanly he let me provide my own Playlist , which made the wedding extra special! He has a great voice and knows how to get the party started! Everyone at our wedding had the time of their lives including me and my husband. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. He has it all, easy going personality, fun, and professional and most importantly he's available to talk to whenever you need to..Thank You so much Joel you are amazing!! -

Joel was an amazing DJ for our wedding! He was super professional and easy to contact throughout our wedding planning. He provided all the necessary equipment that our band needed during the ceremony and cocktail hour. He was a great MC and kept the party going for the whole dance. So many people told us that our wedding was the best they've been to and I think Joel had a huge role in that :) -

The best DJ!!
We had an amazing wedding and reception thanks to Joel! He was professional, responsive, and so much fun. We had a few game-time changes at our wedding and he handled it effortlessly, guests never knew any different! I recommend confirming playlists and sound needs earlier rather than later, because I did all of this the week before the wedding which was a little stressful (not Joel's fault...mine!). Still went off without a hitch. Thank you Joel for everything. -

We (I) accidentally hired our first wedding DJ for the wrong date and ultimately this was a blessing in disguise! Joel was awesome - super responsive, great to work with, and everyone at the wedding was raving about the music. I'm a super type A organized planner, so his interactive website that you can log on to once you book him was SO helpful and appreciated. You can play around with your list of songs (for specific events/dances and also general reception and ceremony) until right before the wedding. There's even suggestions for popular wedding songs and genres if you need help. Highly, highly recommend! -

We hired Dj Qwest for an event and we’re SO glad we did !
