Monika was an absolute dream! She made and delivered our baked good without a hitch. My advise to other would be to order 10%-20% more servings than planned. Our guests ate up all the french pastries so fast! We used her for our wedding but she can really do anything. :)

Amazing cake
The wedding cake for our daughter’s wedding was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS!! It was a HUGE hit with our guests who all wanted to get a look at it! We asked for a cake that looked like a rose and she NAILED IT! It literally brought tears to my eyes when she delivered it! We also asked her to make the Groom’s cake which was Tres Leche in individual cups and the guests went back for seconds! The Groom was soooo pleased!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using this vendor! She was so easy to work with and so very talented!!

Gorgeous Wedding Cake
Monica made such a gorgeous cake for our rustic wedding! She took our inspiration photos, added in our own special touches, and good Lord did it taste AMAZING! The buttercream frosting was the talk of the wedding! Monica was great to work with, had fantastic communication, and delivered exactly what she promised. I would give 10 stars if I could!

I reached out to Monica from Cake'n Pearls with a very short turn-around time for a custom made cake! Not only was she extremely professional, but she was also incredibly timely in her responses. When trying the samples, I showed her the scarf she was going to emulate with fondant flowing down the cake, and the end result was a delicious showstopper! Most vendors would only work for a certain price point. As a bride on a budget I thought her prices were out of my range. Most were but the style I wanted was very much in my price point. Not only was the cake beautiful but it was delicious, my only regret was not trying one of the fruits that I very much wanted I love that she was honest and did not over promise she did not try to upsell us or make us spend more money Than we had to. She answered all my questions and worked as best around my husbands busy schedule.

Absolutely thrilled with our amazing cake! We did a 3 tier cake for our Fall wedding. Each layer was a customized fall flavor. The entire cake was drizzled in caramel and freshly made doughnuts. It was 100% the best cake we have ever had! Our guests said the same! We tried 5 bakeries before we found Cake n Pearls, and none of them even remotely compared! The whole experience was individualized and personal, and Monica took her time making sure every detail was perfect! She was on time to the wedding and set up quickly and efficiently. We had an absolutely awesome experience with Cakes N Pearls. We initially had a couple of tastings and consultations to go over different options, and Monica was great about listening to what we wanted as well as recommending possible options that we had never heard of. They do so much more than such cakes, but the cake is phenomenal as well. We ended up doing an entire dessert table with cake, cinnamon rolls, strawberries and cream puffs and they were all exceptional, we received tons of compliments on everything and the design and presentation was top notch! Highly recommend and I'm sure we will continue to indulge our sweet tooths with desserts from here in the future!

We absolutely cannot recommend Monica enough. After multiple postponements due to the pandemic, I cannot thank her enough for her understanding and professionalism. When it finally came time for our big day, the cakes were even more beautiful and delicious than I could have imagined. Monica is an artist when it come to sugar flowers. I really couldn't believe I had a cake this beautiful! It looked like it should be in a bridal magazine....and the flavor! It was decadent, moist and so wonderful. I am so thankful to Monica for making our wedding an absolute dream. Through all the ups and downs of being a covid bride, I would recommend her to anyone in the DFW area getting married. The flowers in my cake were too beautiful to be real! :) She was professional, sweet, and answered any question I had quickly. I'd definitely book her for my big wedding cake!

Cakes 'n Pearls was so great. My wedding cake was beautiful and SO yummy; several guests told me how much they enjoyed the cake. We chose the almond cake with raspberry buttercream filling. We also had chocolate cupcakes for the "groom's cake" and they were good too! Monica was easy to work with and a very nice person. Would definitely recommend!

Monica was fabulous to work with. Not only does she make delicious cakes, but she thinks through the details and offers great suggestions. We were planning to do a small cake with a larger sheet cake for our guests. She offered to make cupcakes instead, which were beautifully decorated and pretty enough to display (unlike a sheet cake, which we would have hidden in the kitchen till it was time to serve). She also delivered the cake for free and provided a cake stand and board at no extra cost (all we had to do was provide a deposit check that she discarded once the items were returned - and she even came by the reception after it was over to pick them up!) All in all, it was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Monica.

Monica did a fabulous job on our wedding cake! We had a semi-naked cake with gold trim, and the result was both beautiful and delicious. She makes a great pistachio flavor! Seriously, you gotta try it. We received several compliments from friends and family. She was very professional and easily accessible. We loved working with her and would definitely do it again!

The cake looked magnificent. Everyone commented on the great taste of the cake as well. We chose the almond batter with the pistachio and raspberry filling. It was delicious. She also made us sugar roses complentary. I would definitely recommend her again.

Monica did an absolute, amazing job on my wedding cake. She was so easy to work with and everyone loved our cake. I'm still having to tell people where I got it from and it's been almost 2 weeks since my wedding!
I chose to do a wedding cake trio to take center stage on my dessert table. I ended up improvising the entire table and Monica improvised her floral decorating to accommodate my table. it looked so beautiful. If I had to choose the most beautiful decor from my wedding, it would definitely be my cake table.
I can't wait for another occasion when I need a cake! I highly recommend Cakes N Pearls. Five stars, all around.

Cakes'n Pearls made our wedding cake and we loved it. We wanted a wedding cake with some golden highlights and Monica created this beautiful and elegant lace design that looked absolutely stunning. I cannot say enough good things about Monica of Cakes 'N Pearls! She did a beautiful job on a red velvet cake and 150 cupcakes for my daughter's wedding. We had been to several tastings, and when we tried Monica's cupcakes, we knew she was the right one! Her cupcakes are delicious, and the whipped frosting is light and tasty! Her artwork is fabulous! She made a chocolate cupcake with salted caramel frosting, topped with an absolutely realistic looking fondant sunflower. She also made red velvet cupcakes and a luscious lemon cupcake with raspberry frosting, topped with a macaroon. I ate way too many of these! Monica was utterly professional, arrived right on time, and created a beautiful display for us. She was very responsive to all of our questions and emails. We were so glad she was part of the big day! You cannot go wrong with Cakes 'N Pearls!

But my true favorite has to be the classic white cake w/ chocolate frosting. The frosting is not sugary, you don't feel gross after eating it, and the cake is cooked perfectly and always fresh!!!

Cakes'n Pearls has endless intricate and beautiful designs for cakes and sugar flowers. Such a creative designer!!! Ever since I saw pictures on Facebook, I've looked forward to hosting an event where I could order them. Sadly, I live too many states away to get a fresh cake, but was ecstatic when I found out the sugar flowers could be shipped. The detail and color were just amazing so I spent the day showing them off to family and friends. If I convince my husband to fly to TX for a renewal of vows, I want Cakes'n Pearls to make our cake!

Nice tasting cake, however DID. NOT get what we ordered or wanted, not close to what we expected. The Dow-Rod was visible in the cake when we picked it up. The cake was not anywhere close to the design presented to her and the sugar succulantss were same color as leaves so they all looked like leaves, we were NOT HAPPY. When we complained she refunded $25. I highly advise you SPECIFY what you want explicitly so you are pleased. The owner is nice and responsive and stays professional but not understanding as to why we were upset over the cake.
