Tracey is amazing! First, her cakes and desserts are not only gorgeous, but delicious! At our tasting we selected a number of desserts for our dessert bar. I emailed Tracey a picture I found of a previous wedding cake she made and her version of the cake was spot on. It was beautiful, the colors were perfect, it fit our wedding theme and it tasted AMAZING !!! The desserts were set up so nicely and looked great. The ones we had were outstanding! Second, Tracey could not have been sweeter (yup, that’s a baking pun). We communicated mostly via email and Tracey was very responsive. I would highly recommend using Tracey and Cakes To Remember for any bakery needs-wedding, party, birthday - she is truly phenomenal!

Great Cake and Dessert Creator!!!
Tracey made our wedding cake and desserts for our November 23, 2025 wedding of 170 guests. Everything was better than expected! Cake looked amazing, it tasted even better. Desserts were so pretty on the dessert table and again, all were gone, and the compliments received for everything was wonderful!! So many guests asked who we had used, and we were so surprised to hear so many knew exactly who we were talking about when we said "Cakes to Remember," and all in a good way! Great wedding cake and dessert bar experience!
Tracey did a beautiful job on my partner's and my wedding. She was fun to meet with. We smiled, laughed, had a great time, and felt like we had come over to see a friend, versus a cake decorator. She let us know that she communicates best via email, as she is normally always in the cake room working, and that worked great for us. The day of, we had ordered a cake and a full dessert bar. This was a favorite part of the wedding, and the part that everyone was going to enjoy...the sweets. She did not disappoint. Everything was set up beautifully, smelled great, and tasted even better. I will admit I snuck a cherry fruit pie covered in chocolate before the wedding, and do not regret it for a minute. So many guests asked who we used, and we truly hope to help her business grow as much as possible, because it is obvious she put her heart and soul, and love into what she does.

Beautiful and delicious wedding cake
Met with Tracey to go over our wedding details and she came up with a beautiful cake design for our 185 guests, and great flavors and fillings. She was a drive from our location, but with the experience, and the pricing that we could not even believe, we could not be more pleased. Tracey was our 4th cake tasting - some cakes were too dry, a cake decorator that made us feel like we were bothering her, and the others so expensive! I can say our wedding cake was one of the cheapest things we paid for, way below what we had budgeted, which left us room to use that money elsewhere. And the cake was so good and beautiful!!!! It truly was the highlight of my day...minus the new husband of course! lol

We could not have been happier with Cakes to Remember and Tracey. She truly has an amazing talent, not only with cake and desserts, but with people. She is always smiling, makes you feel welcome, and comfortable. There was some tension at my wedding. I guess Tracey could feel it when she arrived. She walked right in, smiling, happy, talking to everyone, and offering to help with other items way outside of her job description. She gave suggestions for table centerpieces, floral setups, calmed down some of my family, and kept doing it again while smiling and pleasant the whole time. At the end, she came and gave me a huge, told me to have the most wonderful day, and to be happy with myself, that I have no control over others around me, but I do have control of how I feel inside. It brought tears to my eyes, and is probably the statement that made my day. Her cake was amazing! The design was gorgeous! It was so moist and flavorful. If I have any friends getting married in the future I will immediately be telling them to go to her. I cannot say I feel that sense of loyalty to anyone else involved in my wedding.

I could not have been happier with Tracey Epslin with Cakes to Remember. From the sampling experience to the execution of the cake, everything was perfect. We chose a 3-tier cake with 3 different flavors and fillings. We ended up with less leftover than planned because people went back for 2-3 slices each. Everyone raved about how delicious the cake was and she executed my design better than I could have imagined.

Tracey made the most amazing and astounding cake for our wedding!! She is personable, very easy going, and willing to make whatever you are looking for! She was very honest in the fact that she does not hire out because she wants to make sure every cake is exactly as it should be, and because of that, sometimes she can return communications the day of and other times, depending on the orders for that week, it may be a few days. Sure, it's great to have someone answer the phone all of the time, but you are just a person, with Tracey, she knows each wedding and works directly with each client and takes each order personally...as if it were her own. Tracey made my 30th birthday cake and wedding cake this year! Both were absolutely AMAZING!!!!! She took my visions and made them a reality! At first I thought I was a little crazy for wanting a black birthday cake and a grey wedding cake, however, after talking to her/meeting with her, she made me more comfortable with the idea of stepping outside of the box when it comes to your tradition style birthday/wedding cake! Tracey created a 4 tier wedding cake for my husband and I, and it was absolutely amazing!! The cake was gorgeous. I received so many compliments on the cake! Definitely recommend Tracey!!

Tracey at Cakes to Remember is absolutely amazing!!!! Her business is located a little further out, but trust me, it is worth the trip - or do what we did - book your cake with her through email and paypal and schedule your tasting closer to the wedding date. All of our friends are getting married, and we have not tasted any wedding cake as good as hers - it was amazing!!! People are still talking about the cake more than my dress weeks later!!!! And her prices, for the work she does, are amazing!!! Don't look any further!!

My cake was perfect! Exactly what I wanted! The flavors were on point! With 130 guests, a 3 teir cake PLUS an extra 2 layered serving cake, I had almost no cake left at the end of the night! All of my guests were raving about how delicious and beautiful the cake was!

Tracey made the most beautiful cake for our wedding day! She placed fresh flowers on the cake day of, provided a beautiful log cake stand, and was extremely responsive. She even provided us with a tasting that was way above and beyond what I expected...lots and lots of cake was consumed! Highly recommend Tracey to anyone in the Hampton Roads area!

Tracey did such a fantastic job from beginning to end. During our cake tasting she reviewed all cake details with us to make sure she knew exactly how we wanted our cake. I also needed a small gluten free cake and she had no problem accommodating my need. We communicated through email and phone and she always had a quick response, which is exactly what you need as a soon to be bride. On our big day she was on time and set up the beautiful cake in the perfect spot. We are so thankful to have Tracey do our cake, I would highly recommend Cakes to Remember if you want the perfect cake at your wedding or event.

It was tough to choose between all the different varieties. On the wedding day, the cake was perfect. It not only looked great but tasted even better. A couple of months prior to our wedding day, she welcomed my husband, myself and my parents into her home for a wonderful cake tasting experience. She was so professional, kind, and answered all of our questions. The tasting was absolutely delicious and we were so excited to have her make our wedding cake! On our wedding day, the cake was even more beautiful than we ever could’ve imagined. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it and it was one of our favorite touches to our big day. Tracey was more than accommodating with our requests. She did a private tasting with the flavors WE chose and was pretty extensive with her search for what we wanted. She showed us lots of pictures of her work in order to help us decide and was also open to our ideas. Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious and the surprise groom's cake was definitely a huge hit.

Tracey was awesome throughout the entire process. She was very flexible with times to meet and extremely helpful with designing the cake since all we knew going in were our wedding colors. The cake was set up the day of on time and hassle-free (which was great as I was already frazzled the morning of the wedding), plus it turned out beautifully. In addition to the cake being beautiful it was also absolutely delicious. Almost all of our guests told us how much they loved the cake, particularly the lemon flavor. All in all, Tracey was amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding cake.

My experience from beginning to end was wonderful! I sent Tracey several pictures of cakes and told her what I liked about each, and she replied quickly with cake ideas. She has endless flavors and even offers tastings! She designed a two tier cake for me and (now husband:)!!!) wedding. The bottom layer was strawberry with fondant ruffles, which tasted amazing;), and the top layer had painted flowers with the most spectacular sugar skull heads as our cake toppers. It was perfect, my only complaint was that I got the top layer lemon flavor and am so sad I didn't get to taste it(since we wrapped it for our year anniversary) LOL!!! Tracey did an amazing job!!!!

We chose a two tiered cake along with 96 cup cakes in 3 different flavors- red velvet with cream cheese filling, cinnabon with vanilla cream filling and almond with raspberry filling. My entire guest list raved about how delicious everything was. Tracey is professional, genuine, and she kept in touch with us throughout the entire process! I have known Tracey for a while, we attend the same church. Not only did she do my weddig cake, but she also did my sons first birthday smash cake. She is awesome, flexible and the cake was beautiful. It matched my decor just as i had hoped. She helped me decide on the colors when i was unsure of what to do and it all turned out awesome. After talking with multiple bakeries about making our wedding cake my husband and I were a little discouraged. We found cakes to remember and saw all the wonderful reviews and decided give it a try. She graciously filled a spot as our cake lady with weeks to spare before the wedding and exceeded all of our expectations and wishes for our wedding cake! Ms. Tracey accommodated diet needs by creating a GF top tier for us to save for our anniversary (I cannot wait to eat it!) and baked two more tiers of delicious cake for us! She listened to our vision for the simple cake decor and delivered perfectly. Ms. Tracey is responsible, organized and experienced, which was a big help for us as we were doing a lot of work with the wedding. I was absolutely stunned by my wedding cake Tracey made!! When we met I was able to taste different flavors to help decided the perfect combination of cake and frosting. We discussed the design and it was executed to perfection. Many of my guest complemented on the taste of the different layers of flavor and design of our wedding cake. Unfortunately some one took the remainder of my cake from our reception location so I was unable to take it home. However, I will make a trip back to Tracey for our anniversary and get a new "anniversary tier" for my husband and I.

My husband and I had Tracey create our groom's cake for our wedding back in September. Our cake tasting was beyond what we expected. We were able to try multiple different flavors of cake and filling, and we had enough to take back home for our families to try. We had the best experience throughout the process of choosing the perfect wedding and grooms cakes. Our experience was far beyond imagination from the first phone call to delivery of two master pieces. The cake specialist has been very personable and professional and was a pleasure to do business with! Despite the struggle with an adversary (our coordinator) on delivery day our "Cake Angel" was still able to deliver two phenomenal cakes! We could not have gotten anyone better to make our wedding cake, grooms cake, and cupcakes. Tracey is very sweet, patient, understanding, and works so well with you! The cake looked stunning, so much better than I had anticipated, and tasted even better! Everyone was asking where the cake came from and if they could have seconds. Highly highly recommended for every cake occasion!

Beginning with the tasting appointment, I was completely impressed with Tracey's professionalism, skill, and attention to detail. The wedding cake for my daughter's "rustic elegance" farm wedding was perfect in both appearance and taste. Tracey used fresh flowers to decorate the tiers in an unfussy yet romantic arrangement. The flavors we chose were red velvet with cream cheese filling, almond with raspberry filling, and lemon with lemon filling and lemon buttercream for that layer only. The top two tiers were iced with plain buttercream. Finally, she placed the cake on a stand made of birch log. It was perfect for a Southern outdoor wedding in June! I've also had Tracey's carrot cake for my husband's birthday. It was also delicious. We're definitely going to be repeat customers!

Tracey provided the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake. We ordered our wedding cake, grooms cake, 300 cupcakes, rehearsal dinner cake, and bridal shower cakes all through Cakes to Remember. She came as a referral from multiple people, and after 3 cake tastings we know we made the best decision! She gave us personal time and attention, showed real interest in our wedding, showed true excitement, and on top of it all, her cakes tasted wonderful, moist and delicious, and looked stunning. All of our cakes were different and we found she can do anything and everything with a cake. I would recommend Tracey at Cakes to Remember to everyone!!

Our cake was even better than we imagined! Tracey did an amazing job with both how our cake looked and how it tasted. We requested a specific design for the cake and Tracey was able to create it based off our ideas. She offered advice based on her expertise, answered every question we had and really made our day special!

Tracey did a wonderful job with my daughter's wedding cake. We gave her some pictures of cakes my daughter liked and asked for some modifications. She did everything we asked on the changes and the cake was beautiful as well as delicious. We received several good comments on it and we recommended her to someone that is getting married next year. My daughter and son-in-law chose vanilla and Cinnabun, which they absolutely loved.

Tracey was absolutely amazing to work with, and her cakes are DELICIOUS! She kept me informed the entire time, and filled me in when something that we had originally planned on was not going to work. She asked for my opinion, but ultimately, I trusted her to make the decision, and the cake turned out beautifully! We have already booked her again to make my sister's baby shower cake next month, and we will definitely use her for other special occasions! I would recommend Tracey with Cakes to Remember to anyone, you won't find a better person to work with, or a better cake!

Tracy was so great to work with! I sent her ideas of what I wanted and she certainly created a wonderful cake! Her flavors were delicious! She took in stride some last minute changes to my color scheme and had no issues.

Tracey gave first class service from the first phone call to after wedding follow up. She was incredibly patient on the wedding day when she had to wait for the cake table to be set up, especially since she had more deliveries to make. The cake was beautiful and delicious, family almost fought over who got the few leftovers. Guests ate more than one piece each, unusual at such affairs.

I loved my wedding cake! I have told all of my unwed friends to make sure to go to Tracey at Cakes to Remember, and to make sure to book early! Her prices are amazing too! She really does not charge enough for her artistry!

I cannot say enough about Tracey and Cakes to Remember. I was a little leery of a home based cake business, but Tracey is licensed through her county, as well as the state agriculture department. She does not have one bad review, and after meeting her, and reading what past brides have said about it, she was so worth it! I have been to a lot of weddings over the past few years and cakes have been dry, the bride was upset about the looks of the cake, at one, the cake was tilted, but everything about Tracey's cake was perfect!! We had 450 guests at our wedding, and she made the most amazing 6 tier cake!!

For my wedding we had the camo/bridal theme and I was told about Cakes to Remember by some of the locals here. When I called she was very open to the idea of the type of cake my husband and I were looking for. When I met with her she was so nice and was delighted to make the cake. The price was very reasonable and it came out outstanding. It ended up being the highlight of my wedding. The taste and appearance was mind blowing. I have referred her to others and will continue to do so. She definitely is good at it and puts a lot of thought and love into making the cakes. Thank you so much again Tracey!

This vendor saved our daughter's wedding when our original baker had a stroke a month before the wedding. Tracey was very professional and so accommodating . The cakes were exactly what my daughter wanted and were not only perfectly decorated but delicious. We received many positive comments on how tasty the cakes were. I hope to use Cakes to Remember on our next big birthday celebration.

I can't say enough good things about Cakes to Remember. When our original baker had a health emergency at the last minute, Cakes to Remember saved the day. I could not have been more thrilled with my wedding cake by Cakes to Remember! Tracey designed a cake exactly like I had imagined and much more. It was not only gorgeous but tasted amazing. You designed a very intricate and complex design for us, just like we wanted, using our colors, etc.. It looked wonderful and tasted even better!! For my wedding I had Tracey Esplin "Cakes to Remember" make my cake and it came out amazing. It turned out exactly what my husband and I wanted and the it was delicious. My cake was a HUGE hit at my wedding and everyone loved it. She is such a sweet person and excellent at what she does. She definitely makes her cakes with love. If you want to be blown away by the appearance and taste of your cake you should definitely call "Cakes to Remember". Cakes to Remember is the best! The cake was amazing and more than I expected. All of my guests complimented the flavors and how delicious the cupcakes were. I recommend her to everyone looking for a cake for a speical occasion. Tracey is so kind and willing to do anything that her clients want. I later used her for my baby shower and once again I was nothing less than pleased with the quality of the work she delivers!
