  Delicious!!! Sue made the whole cake experience for my Wedding so easy and fun! Her cake is delicious and she made a beautiful creation on our wedding day!!! On our Wedding day, I didn't have to worry or do anything! She did everything in a professional and beautiful way! She is very talented!

  When we were looking for cake vendors we came across a number of reviews about bakeries that delivered the wrong cake to weddings (yikes). Then we came across Sue. She makes one cake per weekend, devoting the entirety of her focus and time to that specific cake. In her previous life she was an engineer and you can tell how her innate detail-oriented nature has come to shine through in her current profession.
  
  She offers a plethora of flavors and is extremely flexible when it comes to working with your budget. She is also very responsive, and worked seamlessly with our florist to integrate fresh flowers into our cake decor. Our cake was elegant, perfectly-executed, and unbelievably moist. We received numerous comments (and e-mails) about how much guests enjoyed it and if we could do our wedding all over again we would WITHOUT QUESTION go with Sue's cakes.

  Sue was absolutely wonderful to work with! Her designs are breathtaking and you can tell she really cares about her work and is a true artist when it comes to cakes! She was able to stick within our budget while still coming up with a beautiful, creative design. She responded quickly to emails and was very flexible, even when I pretty much completely changed the design I wanted, she was very understanding and happy to make the change. The final product was gorgeous and exactly what I had hoped for!!! Also very yummy!! Matt & I's only regret was that we weren't able to eat more of it before we got pulled away to do more wedding day tasks...but we were able to save some to try on our anniversary :)

  I could not have been more pleased with my wedding cake! When I initially met with Sue I had a specific cake that I had found a picture of that I really wanted for my wedding - she duplicated it exactly! My cake required two special cake stands that I had not been able to find. Within one day of our meeting not only had Sue found the cake stands online, but she offered to purchase them and let me rent them rather than having to purchase them out right. Sue was able to work with our budget (which I think was rather small for the amount of people that we needed to feed) and created a way that I could feed everyone, have the exact cake that I wanted and stay within my budget. Of course, the cake was delicious! We had a really difficult time choosing which flavors we wanted because they were all so tasty!

  LOVED HER CAKE!
  It was very pleasure working with Cake by Sue for my wedding. She's very quick with responding to your questions, excellent communication skills, and bakes delicious cake. I'd say everything went perfect the way I wanted it to be. I can't even point out one thing that's negative. You won't be disappointed! :D

  I ordered both a wedding cake and a grooms cake from Sue. I was really stressed because I was having a hard time finding someone to do the wedding cake I wanted in the budget I had available. Sue was more then willing to work with me and ensure I got the cake I truly wanted. My wedding cake was BEAUTIFUL!! It was exactly what I imagined and I couldn't have been happier with it!
  In addition, the grooms cake was a Baltimore Ravens themed cake that was a surprise to my husband. Sue crafted a life sized football for this cake and it was beyond my expectations. It looks so life like!! I couldn't believe how realistic it looked! Both cakes tasted great also. Sue is an amazing cake designer!
  Another thing I loved about Sue was she only books one bride for a weekend so she can give special attention to that bride and the cake she wants. When I called other bakeries, I was just another order..but with Sue I truly felt I was a main priority.
  Sue made my day even ore special and I couldn't be happier with her work. Thanks so much Sue! :)

  Sue is FANTASTIC!! My husband and I adore her. She was so sweet to work with. Her tasting was professional and DELICIOUS. Our wedding cake turned out beautiful. I will definatly be finding a reason to use her again!!

  Sue was so wonderful to work with! The cakes we had looked into were overpriced and they were right down the street from where my husband and I got married. Sue traveled all the way from Elkridge, MD to Friendship, MD and she charged us half the price of other places we had looked into. Sue's cake was delicious! She also made my best friend's wedding cake and that was phenomenal too! Her cake was the perfect touch to our perfect day! Thanks Sue!!

  Sue's cake was absolutely wonderful. It was moist and delicious. She took my ideas and ran with them and came up with something that I hadn't even thought of. She was able to take the design from my invitations and put it on sugar paper which then went right onto my cake. So many of my guests complemented on how great the cake tasted.
  
  My husband and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary, and our top tier was just as good after frozen for a year as it did the day of out wedding. I would highly recommend her for anyone one who wants their cake to taste as good as it will look.

  I couldn't have asked for better. The cake was just beautiful, more than I could have imagined. Everyone at the wedding loved it so much, looks and taste! Soooo happy I found Sue!

  Sue did a wonderful job on our wedding cake. She was very professional throughout all my meetings with her. The cake was absolutely delicious, and we even finished the majority of the cake of the wedding day. We had her make a 4 tiered round cake with custom scroll-work on the design. I even asked her to add a small 'Hulk' figure to the side of the cake , to make it seem like he was busting out of the cake (a small surprise for my husband since Hulk is his favorite superhero) and she was able to incorporate this into the cake as well - and still make it look elegant!
  There was a mix up about dates, and the cake was actually delivered a day early to the hotel - Sue was very accommodating and understanding and agreed to bring the cake back the next day for the wedding since it could not be kept at the hotel overnight.
  In the end it came out very nice, and everyone complimented the design, flavor, and texture. Also - the serving sizes are generous! I would definitely recommend her for any event that you need a nice cake for. One of the best things about Cakes by Sue is that she does not double book weekends for weddings - it was very reassuring knowing that our cake was the only cake that she would be making for that day.
