Michelle was a great vendor to work with. She knew exactly what kind of cake we were looking for the style. The decorations were impeccable. The taste was amazing. It's very moist cake. I would definitely use her again for another wedding. Michelle was an exceptional vendor to collaborate with. She possessed a comprehensive understanding of the cake style we desired. The decorations were impeccably executed. The taste was exceptional, characterized by its moist texture. I would undoubtedly entrust her services once more for a future wedding celebration. -

Creative, adaptive, and budget friendly
Michele was amazing. I had an idea for a cake to highlight where both my husband and I were from (cross cultural) and she came through! I also added on a small GF cake 6 days before the wedding and she was able to do it. She did great! Her prices are great too! I would highly recommend -

Last Minute
My husband found Cakes by Michele and suggested we call to get a price on a cake that we decided to get last minute. Literally with only 4 days before we needed it, I called and not only was she reasonably priced but she made a very beautiful, delicious cake! Super impressed! Thank you so much Michele !!! -

A Very Special Anniversary Cake
I contacted Michele after seeing her work online. I wanted her to make a cake for an open house I planned to have on what would have been my husband’s and my 50 wedding anniversary. I lost my husband suddenly 3 years ago, but wanted to share this occasion with my friends and family. Michele was kind and thoughtful throughout our exchanges. I have a garden of native Michigan plants and wanted to reflect that in the cake decoration. I could not have been more pleased with the result. I cried when I saw it! It was not only beautiful, but it was delicious!! Chocolate, as our wedding cake had been. I also got rave reviews for the small gluten free cake Michele made for friends who required it. I very highly recommend Michele for her personal attention, the decoration, and the taste of the cakes she made for me. -

Perfect Lambeth Style Wedding Cake

Great experience from tasting to wedding day! Tons of compliments on the incredible cupcake staircase. If you're thinking of doing cupcakes, so yourself a favor and rent the staircase! Gluten-free cupcakes for guest with Celiac's were delicious and obviously not exposed to any cross-contamination. We also did a simple single layer round cake for the cake cutting and it was delicious! Set-up slightly changed day of due to rain, but Michelle was on top of everything! -

Last minute wedding cake order
My daughter decided she wanted to have a wedding cake, cupcakes, lemon bars about 2.5 weeks before her wedding. I emailed Cakes by Michele, along with a few others, Michele was the first to respond, available, reasonably priced and did a great job working with me from Florida and my daughter in Michigan. The cake, cupcakes and lemon bars were delicious, and they were gone quickly! Thank You so much, everyone loved them! -

Exceeded expectations
Michele was absolutely wonderful to work with. She provided a dessert buffet with 4 different "mini" options and a cake for our daughter's wedding. She was very flexible on what we could offer for the dessert buffet. Not only did everything taste amazing but the presentation was also top notch. Would highly recommend Cakes By Michele! -

Michele's cake was a BIG hit at our wedding! We only had just a few slices left out of 175 people by the end of the night. It was moist, flavorful, and beautiful from an appearance standpoint! Leading up to the wedding, Michele was very easy to get ahold of and she even helped to fix our broken cake topper the day of with very little notice via email. But wait there's more- Before finding Michele, we looked around at other bakers. She was BY FAR the most reasonable from a cost perspective. We were so relieved to find her. Thank you, Michele! We appreciate you!!!

Amazing cakes and service!
Michele was amazing to work with. She made us our dream Disney themed wedding cake and we received so many compliments on how pretty it was and how good it tasted. She was very responsive to emails and very helpful in planning and answering any questions we had. I highly recommend her! -

Wedding cake
I was referred to cakes by Michele by my cousin who had great reviews, ordered a wedding cake short notice and was still able to get a great cake in time! It was delicious and beautiful and perfect for the occasion. Would definitely recommend! -

Beautiful and Delicious
Michele was very patient with us since it was the first wedding for both of us and we had no idea what we wanted. For the taste testing she gave us a menu and she baked separate small cakes for us to try and even sent us home with the samples! We had 4 tiers and each one was different with a filling. The groomsmen saw her deliver the cake without the flowers or designs and told me she took her time to stick each flower on. When I saw the cake I said wow it was perfect simple and exactly what I wanted!
We had to cut down our guest list so Michele asked if we wanted a smaller cake and we said nope. So the guests had as much as they wanted we even gave a lot of it away and we still had cake for a week! It was delicious! I highly recommend Cakes by Michele! -

Everyone loved the cupcakes we chose for the wedding. By the end of the night they were almost gone. Everyone kept telling us so good they were and how flavorful they were. Michele was so helpful and kept in constant contact with us leading up to the wedding. We will definitely be ordering from her again -
