Show Stopping Cake

I highly recommend Cakes by Crème de la Crème. We scheduled a tasting, and were met by the owners, who are both classically trained. We tried several flavors and combinations, and they answered all our questions. The cake was 5 tiers, and each tier was hand piped. It was beautiful! We had so many compliments!

They said it would be delivered at 2:30 and they were right on time. In addition, we ordered platters of Gluten Free desserts and had a dessert bar that was full of wonderful treats such as mini cheesecakes, tarts, they even did Meringues in the wedding colors. The table with the cake and dessert bar on either side was so elegant. It was the perfect end to a perfect day!

Amazing, professional, responsive and absolutely beautiful!

From the moment we stepped into the Cakes By Creme de la Creme bakery shop we felt the love and care they put into their work. No fuss, all quality, beauty and love. The sampling process was very easy, simple and reasonably priced. They are very professional and real, and helpful.
The cake was just beautiful, we just sent the wedding card and the picture of the cake, and they delivered the most beautiful and delicious cake and cupcakes ever, on time and perfectly set. We could not have been happier.

The best and tastiest wedding cake!

I would give them 100 stars if I could! Our wedding cake was amazing and delicious! The baker who delivered our cake on our wedding day was in a car accident during transport. The cake was slightly damaged due to this. He went out of his way to return to the bakery, fix it up and still made it on time for our wedding. They are amazing and I could not recommend them enough!

Amazing cake!

I hired Crème de la Crème after sampling several more expensive (and less tasty) cakes and desserts from Seattle bakeries. For our wedding day, we went with two flavors for the cake, chocolate lover truffle torte and white chocolate raspberry, and three flavors of mini cupcakes. Although our guest count was 12 less than expected, at the end of the night all the cake and cupcakes were gone. People raved about the cake, which was amazing. I highly recommend Bart and the team at Crème de la Crème!

Beautiful Cake, Professional Service, and Reasonable Prices

This company was really easy to work with and our cake was absolutely gorgeous. They did an excellent job of decorating with our florist's flowers. The prices were reasonable, and we got lots of compliments on the flavors! I love looking back at the pictures of our cake!!

Best cake we could have asked for

Super tasty, great prices, beautiful work and very punctual. We got so many compliments on how unique the flavours were, too!

Our cake was amazing! Everyone kept going back for more slices, it was so good we just couldn't stop eating it! The baker we met with at the planning was knowledgeable and friendly. The cake was very reasonably priced. They were responsive to all my (many) questions. They delivered, were on time, and helped arrange the flowers which were provided by the florist. Couldn't be happier with this cake!

We tried many cakes from many different places before deciding on creme de la creme. They were very friendly and patient with us for how often we changed our minds. We ended up getting the cheesecake and the white and dark chocolate raspberry gateau, and we loved them! The cake not only tasted great but it was beautiful! It looked so good that i felt horrible cutting into it, but everybody enjoyed it and i would definitely recommend them for any cake needs you might have!

The hotel venue for my wedding included the cake provided by Creme de la Creme. It was so easy working with the folks here in picking out exactly what I wanted for my cake. The design of the cake came out exactly the way I wanted and it was very delicious also. Highly recommend!

We highly recommend Crème de la Crème cakes for your wedding cake. We chose them for our wedding day in April 2016. Try to attend one of their tasting events. We set up a private tasting, and were blown away with how wonderful the cakes are. Creme de la Creme's cake flavors are delicious and it was a tough choice, but we went with chocolate and lemon. The cake was just our style and everyone rated it as absolutely gorgeous and delicious!

These guys are truly amazing. Their cakes are beautiful, and several guests told me that it was the best cake they'd ever had! We still occasionally stop in for a cupcake because they are delicious.

What wonderful cake (actually cupcakes)! Bart and his team did a great job providing the cake for our wedding. They were easy to work with getting my order made and happily accepted the last minute changes I made. The cake was delivered on time and set up beautifully. Thanks Bart.

Oh my goodness the cake and everything here is amazing! We were so thankful to find this little hidden gem and have continued to buy cakes from here for the past year. We purchased a cutting cake with chocolate and peanut butter filling. It was so delicious! Wish we would have stored it correctly to eat all year long. We will just have to keep buying more. :) Oh darn. So good! You will love this delicious decision!

After we went to a tasting at Creme de la Creme we knew we had to have them make our wedding cake. Everything was so delicious it was hard to decide what flavors to get! The staff made sure they had everything written down exactly the way we wanted and confirmed with us again the week before the wedding. The cake was delivered on time and everything looked perfect! The cake turned out beautifully and everyone loved it!

THE BEST TASTING and MOST BEAUTIFUL wedding cakes ever. Crème de la Crème was amazing. Took my general thoughts about what I wanted for a wedding cake and delivered the most beautiful wedding cake I could have imagined. The best part- it tasted as good as it looked. They also made the coolest groom cake ever as it incorporated our wedding theme and college mascot filled with delicious red velvet cake. Amazing. The best in the DFW area, hands down.

We loved our wedding cake from Cakes by Creme de la Creme. They had so many good flavors that we ended up choosing three for our wedding cake. They are very helpful. They are easy to contact via email or via facebook even. Regular tastings. Very easy going, professional. No problems at all they were not pushy in anyway at the tastings either. We went to a total of three and always brought someone with us, the first two times was because we couldn't decide and the third we came and booked.

Simply amazing! Not only was the quality of our cake top notch, but the design was amazing... elegant to the utmost! The staff was very accommodating (had to change the delivery time only a couple days before the wedding) and very very easy to work with. Thank you!!

After doing our research, we went with Creme De La Creme and was happy with our choice. We made a decision to pick a cake that had to be made with fondant. A couple months after picking out our cake, we heard a bunch of bad reviews about how terrible fondant tasted. So I started to feel like we made a bad decision. But Bart (at Creme De La Creme) put some time aside to meet up with me and allowed me to taste the fondant. And to my surprise, it didn't taste bad at all. So after Bart assured me that everything would be fine, I didn't make any changes to my order. They were responsive to my emails and a pleasure to work with. We were pleased at how beautiful our cake turned out & our guests said it tasted good.

Creme de la Creme cakes are wonderful, they do a amazing job! My girlfriend bought one for my bridal shower. The cake was beautiful and tasted great! As for my wedding cake, I showed them a picture and described how I wanted my cake. On my wedding day, they nailed it, it looked perfect! Totaly fit in with the theme of my wedding. The taste, my friends are still talking about how excellent the cake tasted. One of my flavosr was their spice cake, it was commented by one of my friends that it tasted like fall.(September wedding)

If you've ever taken a baking class or if you're an at home baker, you know that made from scratch chocolate cake can turn out dry more often than any other kind of cake. We ordered a three tiered chocolate cake with raspberry preserves and chocolate mousse and it was hands down the best cake I have ever had! The frosting was gorgeous and they arranged fresh flowers (ordered through our florist) on the top and it looked beautiful! It tasted even better than it looked and so many people came up to me asking about where we'd ordered it from. Other reviews have said that they're a little cold in person... the man we met with was extremely professional, not overly talkative but you could tell that he was happy to be doing what he does. We had to change our cake from pick-up to delivery really shortly before the wedding and they were great about helping us with that! Over all: Excellent company to work with and well worth the money!

These cakes are amazing! Cakes By Creme de la Creme are the best out there! We had a destination wedding so had to pick up the cakes 2 days before the wedding and drive them 3 hours before getting them into another refrigerator. They boxed them up in super sturdy boxes so they would not get crushed or slide around. We had 4 seperate tiers in 3 different flavors and they were all delicious! Everyone loved them, even the event staff! They were beautiful and delicious! Highly recommend!

I love Creme de la Creme! They are simply the best in taste and appearance. We showed up to a cake tasting one week earlier than in their books but they still accommodated us! The flavors were so good that we wished we had a 10 tier cake. We selected passion peach and pear praline. We even recommended their service to my personal trainer who was getting married and they loved them too! Happy Planning and cake eating!

I had a wonderful experience with Cakes By Creme de la Creme; they truly took care of me! I placed an order for some personalized napkins for my wedding reception. I was very surprised when they emailed me the proof within an hour after I placed my order!. I am already planning to order my holiday party napkins and favors from them.

My cake was the one thing I wanted to splurge on for my wedding and I'm glad I did. I was hesitant on using fondant b/c I've tasted it before at other weddings and it wasn't that good....not my cake...it was delicious! Everyone loved our cake! It was fresh, not too sweet and looked amazing. I definitely recommend Creme de la Creme.

The cake was really a work of art. Creme de la Creme has just amazing cakes, some of the designs are so creative- it was really hard finding a cake that we both liked. Our guests enjoyed the cake and were as impressed as we were, so we definitely got a good cake. Price is really worth the art.

We had large truffles instead of a groom's cake. After a two month search, we found the perfect, most delicious truffles at Cakes by Creme de la Creme. They were flexible, provided us with a free sample of the truffles, and helpful in helping us pick designs. The truffles were so popular at the wedding that guests took home as many truffles as they could fit in their favor box!!

Creme De La Creme had a quite a few selections of cake styles to choose from and also had a variety of cake types to taste. They were flexible on the design ideas we had and the cake turned out beautiful. The price was within reason and the friendly service was great.

Our cake was exactly what we expected and more. The price was more then fair. I designed the cake and they created it just as I wanted only better. It was delievered on time to my wedding venue - they took care of that. 1 1/4 years later (we were out of town on our anniversary) and 2 moves the cake tasted wonderful, just like it had on our wedding day! 2 years later they made the same cake in a mini version for my baby shower - we'd talked about it so much since the wedding, we couldn't have had anything else. My only complaint, I did two flavors on my wedding cake so everyone had 2 pieces of cake to try both flavors. Thankfully we had enough but it didn't leave many leftovers. We had cake 150 and about 90 guests.

Creme de la Creme was a great vendor to work with for our wedding cake. We attended a free tasting early in the year and loved the cake and frosting choices. We were able to pop back in about 6 mos before the wedding and make flavor choices and design the cake. We worked one on one with the main baker and he gave us great personalized recommendations. He remained flexible as we got closer to the date and helped make last minute changes to adjust to the number of guests. The company was responsive and very reliable. He worked with our florist to put flowers on the cake and get the cake-topper to fit into the design. Their team made paying and returning the cake stand easy. The amount of cake and flavor were perfect! You can tell they have a lot of experience in the industry and I would hire them again for another event in a heartbeat. Thanks!

My husband and I attended a cake tasting with Creme de la Creme over a year in advance. They have a wonderful reputation so we decided to add them to our list of choices. They were most helpful in designing our cake that day and were efficient as well. We were able to taste our two favorites, red velvet and New York cheesecake marbled with chocolate cake. We were sold at the tasting and put down a deposit. They delivered the cake early on our wedding day and it was beautiful! Not only that, but it was delicious too! Many people complemented our cake...some even had more!

The wedding cake was just amazing. It looked a lot better when we saw it at our wedding than at the shop, and we were very impressed by the cake they made. It was delivered on time and by a crew who were very nice and happy, I loved everything about their service.

Creme de la creme gave me the tastiest wedding cake of my dreams. The flavor was pink champagne! I changed my mind about the flavor a few times and they never grumbled once. It looked great too!

Hands down one of the best cakes I’ve ever tried was from here. Well...I mean, I did get my wedding cake from there. Ordered a sample tray which was reasonably priced, I believe around 10 ish dollars. Got to sample the tray with my MOH, that’s how much was included. Not lying when I say that almost every flavor was delicious! Also worked with Amy, who was a delight....very easy to speak with and helpful during the process.

The cake was so delicious from Creme de la Creme, that we ordered 100 slices roughly, and only 75-80 people came to our wedding, but we had no cake left over. Our guests absolutely loved each flavor - the dark/white chocolate, the carrot cake, and the cheesecake-flavored layer. The orange cherry blossom decorations were both delicious (like tootsie rolls!) and absolutely beautiful. Cake tasting was easy and delivery went without a hitch! We couldn't be happier with the outcome.

This was one of the few that don't charge you anything for cake samples probably because they have the confidence that you will be impressed by what you try. Out of the 3 cake places we tried out, it definitely stood out to us. When considering the whole cost including delivery and comparing to other options, it is in the middle price range. Our favorite flavors was banana strawberry and white chocolate sponge with raspberry. The jams used in the cakes were very fresh and homemade. My only wish would be if they had more chocolate cake options, but I guess I heard in general chocolate cakes are not popular for weddings. We picked a fairly simple, elegant design, but they perfected it beautifully.

I wish we'd gotten a chance to eat the bridal cake but I hear from our guests it was delicious. We had left over red velvet grooms cake the next day it and it was SO yummy! Working with creme de la creme was great although they could be a little hard to get ahold of at times. Overall we were very satisfied...the cakes were beautiful and tasted great.

The gentleman that helped us select our cupcake flavors was a little shy, somewhat unprofessional but the quality is UNBEATABLE. I am so satisfied with their service. We wanted to do cupcakes and a small 8" bride/groom cake and they were very flexible with the order. The cupcakes were beautiful and not too casual for our evening event either. They also tasted really good! Most cakes with fondant taste chalky, but they have a great recipe! I highly recommend these folks!

Simply put, Creme da la Creme made the most delicious wedding cake for us that we and most of our guests have ever tasted. We thought we had already selected our cake baker, but then we decided just to try Creme de la Creme. From the first bite, we were sold. They offer a wide variety of extremely unique and delicious flavors. The most important thing to us about our cake is that it tasted good! We've been disappointed at a number of weddings and wanted our cake to be exceptional. Our guests still rave about how delicous our cake was. Not only did it taste good, it was beautiful. They even incorporated our logo into the cake design. We are so happy we chose Creme de la Creme.

Creme de la Creme did an amazing job on our wedding cake. It looked beautiful (they followed a picture in a magazine and got it spot on), and tasted great!! We loved being able to have individual tastings and thought Bart and Michael were great. We did think it was a little pricey, but we wouldn't have gone anywhere else! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Our cake not only looked amazing, it tasted GREAT! Guests are still commenting that it was the most tasty wedding cake they'd ever had. Try the banana-strawberry; it's soo moist. They delivered our cake across the sound, across a ferry intact and on time. Thanks guys.

Our cake was phenomenal - the best cake I've ever tasted! They were very flexible, allowing us to send them a ribbon that matched our color scheme and to have two different cake flavors. Also, they arranged the flowers upon delivery to the site - the cake was gorgeous!

The cake was amazing!! we tried so many different bakeries and this was by far the best! Not too sweet. The cake looked amazing, we got married on the hottest week in Seattle history and while all the guest were melting the cake was perfect! My only issue is that they have so many orders to fill in the busy summer months that i felt like it was a little impersonal but overall im so glad they I went with them.

The cake came out perfect and I don't know what else I could have asked for in a cake. It took a bit longer than I thought it would to set things up, but in the end everything came out nicely done and we even got some compliments on the cake.

The wedding cake tasted amazing and look gorgeous! Well worth the money. My only complaint would be the customer service - hard to reach on occasion and rush you a bit during the tasting.

Cakes By Creme de la Creme create beautiful cakes, I knew I had wanted to go through them for my wedding cake when I saw a cake they had created for a wedding show. I went to one of their tasting in February, everything tasted fantastic, we created our cake design there and picked out our flavors. Then in September, the month of my wedding, I received an email from them saying they didn’t have a design for my cake. I remembered the gist of what we had designed but there was some swirl design we had chosen that I didn’t remember the name of. Not a big deal but I called to tell them what it was we had discussed before, and was told to email them back. I emailed them back and didn’t receive a response from them. I called them and eventually was told that they had my email and all was good. On our actual wedding day the cake was late getting to the reception site, it turned out not to be a huge deal in the grand scheme of things because it showed up before we were scheduled to cut the cake. When I first saw the cake I was disappointed. It was all white and boring looking, we had wanted a design on our middle tier to be the blue color that matched our wedding and it was white. The cake tasted fantastic and I am still getting compliments on it. I would recommend this company on taste alone, but I would stress that this company seems to need micro managing.

Our cake was beautiful, and very tasty! Our guests commented on it's texture and just how delicious is was well into the evening! I was very pleased with the end result.

My only hesitation with selecting this vendor was that they seemed a little bit "cold". Not very warm and inviting when we went to the cake tasting, a little stand-offish, with only grins and nods. They have an excellent business and product, and I was pleased beyond words with our cake, but I felt they were not very personable. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day?

We could only afford a small cake but they treated us like any other customer. The cake was gorgeous and they had everything ready as had been planned. It was a little pricy but absolutely delicious.

The cake tasted fantastic. I have never tasted better wedding cake, and everyone who came to the wedding has said the same thing. I rated them a bit lower because my our communication was not that great, and they were fairly expensive. That said, I'd use them again for a special occasion cake.

The Desserts were Great, the communication less so...

We had hired Cakes by Creme de la Creme to provide some mini desserts for our dessert table since we weren't a fan of traditional cake. I will say that every time I got someone on the phone to either ask questions, make payments, etc, the person on the other side was always cordial and knowledgeable.

That being said, the email communicator was less than as illustrious. We had tried to set up a tasting for our desserts, but it was difficult for us to get a response. When we finally did get one, we were told they finally had time to do our sample set because wedding season slowed down...not sure why we weren't given the same priority as other weddings, but I assume its because we weren't getting a super expensive cake. Nevertheless, I inquired if a Saturday was a good time to pick it up and I didn't get a confirmation. Then the shop closed for a week and a half so I sent another email saying I didn't hear from them and if we could set up another time for pickup. A couple of days after the shop opened back up, I received an email, saying that it had been ready for me on Saturday and that he "didn't feel like he needed to respond to me"....Which is weird because who assumes that a conversation is concluded when the last message was a question.

Nevertheless, he sent a poorly lit photo of the desserts in a style that didn't quite match, so I sent another email citing a pinterest board with more of the aesthetic I was going for. In the end, the desserts looked and tasted great, but we never did get to taste them before the wedding. the desserts were a lower priority for us, and for my mental health, I let it go, but just something for others to keep in mind if you're considering having them cater your wedding.

Up until the wedding day, my experience with Crème de la Crème was fine. I felt they responded to my questions in a timely manner and were quite flexible and accommodating on how we wanted our cake to look.
However, my overall experience after the wedding with them changed completely based on how poorly they handled the fact that we never got our cake stand that we had rented.
Four days after we married, I called them and told them we never got our cake stand and that I wanted our rental and delivery fee refunded to us. I got an email saying they would only refund the cake stand rental. So I called them back and spoke with the manager/owner telling them that I should be refunded the entire amount I had paid for the stand/delivery. His response, "Why are you upset, you got the cake, how did not having the cake stand ruin your wedding?" It was his rude tone that really upset me, I was shocked! First, I still had a beautiful wedding, but I couldn't believe what I was hearing! All he needed to do was just refund my money and that would've been the end of it. It's how poorly and rudely they handled the fact that they took no responsibility for forgetting the cake stand and then coming at me as if I shouldn't be upset! This company needs to understand that people pay a lot of money for a wedding cake and it's not like it's a birthday cake where next year they'll remember the stand. You get one shot at your wedding cake and it's also a big photogenic moment too! Finally, the owner agreed to refund me my money. But in the process did a lot of damage to their reputation. If he hadn't of been so harsh and unprofessional about the incident they would be receiving a 5 star rating. But I just can't give them that after the way they handled this.
It's unfortunate because the cake did taste good, but their unprofessionalism and failure to take responsibility for their mistakes cost them. My advice: Find a company that understands the importance behind wedding cakes.
