The most beautiful and tastiest cake I’ve ever had! Our cake was perfect for our beach themed wedding and dinner reception. Would recommend hands down getting the amaretto with raspberry filling!

We were recommended by our venue to Cakes by Carolyn and definitely not disappointed. We chose vanilla with strawberry filling, and their raspberry amaretto swirl and it was so delicious! We had the cake ombre and to match our wedding colors. The cake turned out perfectly and was exactly what we wanted! We got so many compliments on the cake! Amazing!

They were amazing from cake testing to setup. Wedding cake was everything I imagined and beautifully decorated. All three layers was a different experience. Even a year later out the freezer, the butterrum cake was even better than the of wedding. If heaven had a taste I'm sure they have. Very satisfied customer.

Cakes by Carolyn did an amazing job!! Easy to work with, answered all of my questions, they even used a ribbon I brought in to use ON my cake?! I recommend them to anyone who wants a gorgeous cake and taste like a million bucks, best cake vendor hands down!

I had a cupcake cake. Three tiers of cupcakes w a 6inch cake on top. The cupcakes were a mix of vanilla, choc, marble. The cupcakes were so moist! The icing so delish. I had the cake ombré with the lightest at top to darkest at bottom in coral. It was simple, but so perfect. I had 70something cupcakes. They also redid my 6 inch due to putting the wrong filling inside. Easy to work with! Free delivery and set up!

Best Cake!!! The owner took time to help us create a unique design that worked with our masquerade wedding. She was always friendly, and helpful whenever we spoke. Her pricing was great. And, the cake tasted great!!! Loved everything about this experience!!!

Cakes by Carolyn made the BEST cake Ive ever had! Everything was absolutely perfect!! We met with them and tasted a few different kinds and designed the cake we wanted, and it ended up being even better than we imagined. It was a hit! So many compliments on not only the looks of it, but the taste was absolutely out of this world. Would absolutely recommend to ANYONE!! We will be back !!

We met with Cakes By Carolyn about 2 months before the wedding for our cake tasting and loved the chocolate cake with bavarian cream. My finance had a lot of different ideas running through her head and they helped us narrow the selections and worked with us on changes a few times in order to provide the ideal cake. At the end, our guests loved the cake and it came out looking great !

Bonnie is such a sweet lady, who is happy to help you have the wedding cake you've always dreamed of. She is genuinely happy for each couple, and wishes them a lifetime of happiness. On the day of our tasting, from the minute we walked into the bakery we were met with the most amazing smell of cakes and cookies, which is always a great start. Bonnie greeted us promptly, and invited us to have a seat in the cake tasting area. She brought out all of the flavors we had requested along side with the flavors of filling/ icing. Each one was more amazing than the next, it was so hard to decide on flavors, but it was fun trying! Finally we came to a decision and placed our order. I also had a family member whose birthday just so happened to be our wedding day so I wanted to surprise her with a birthday cake, so we placed that order as well. Also, to surprise my to be husband, I went back in a few weeks later and placed an order for a Grooms cake in the shape of a golf ball, as my to be hubby is a huge golfer! I e-mailed Bonnie a picture from Pinterest to refer to when making the cake. Come the rehearsal dinner, we arrived at our resturant, the cake was there perfect in every way! It matched the picture I provided perfectly, and he was so surprised! Wedding Cake was nothing short of amazing itself, we wanted a very simple design, with 2 beach chairs on top (which Bonnie sold and provided us with.) Everyone loved the flavors; since we couldn't decided between 2 flavors we opted to have both! Every other layer white, and the other layers butter. Our filling was something we were keeping a surprise to our guests, as it was the best filling ever : COOKIE CRUNCH!! Everyone loved the "cookie crunch surprise" (as we nicknamed it) And there were NO pieces left over!! In addition to the amazing wedding cake the birthday cake I requested to be delivered with the wedding cake came out great as well. I can't say enough about this bakery!! You need them for your wedding! Thank you!!!

You will NOT be disappointed with Cakes by Carolyn. Our cake was absolutely delicious and the design could not have been more perfect. At our tasting we could not decide on just 2 flavors, they were all to die for. At the wedding our guests literally ate everything. We loved it so much we ate the top layer the following week, We cannot wait for our one year anniversary to order a fresh one!!

We were so happy with our cake. It turned out exactly as we described to them. Bonnie is SO lovely and great to work with. We got a three tier cake - biggest tier was pina colada flavor with pineapple filling and this absolutely blew us away at our tasting, we picked it to try out of pure curiousity and it was our favorite. Next tier was raspberry ameretto with white chocolate filling and top was picked by our 5 year old and was red velvet. Everyone at the wedding complimented the cake. It was amazing, we wouldn't change a thing. Go and do a tasting here and you'll book them on the spot!

You definitely won't be disappointed if you decide to use Cakes by Carolyn. By far one of the best decisions we made. We do not live in Florida, however she was very accommodating to us with setting up a taste testing. We went with blueberry swirl cake with raspberry filling and comments from our guest were all positive with one stating "It was the best cake, she had ever had." We actually had a few guests looking for more....

They created a BEAUTIFUL cake that tasted even better than it looked. Yummy butter cream frosting moist cake...it was amazing! I highly recommend the pina colada cake and the key lime cake! So good!

We used Cakes by Carolyn because it was included in our reception venue package. However I would have used them anyway as they did my sister's cake 5 years ago! Yummy cakes! I did a white amaretto cake with pineapple filling and yum yum yum! It was delicious! I was grateful for the included tasting/consultation because I had no clue what I wanted to do with my cake. The staff was very helpful designing my cake. No problems getting the cake to the reception. I would highly recommend them!

We learned about the cakes here from our wedding coordinator. We called, set up a tasting and designed the perfect cake while we were there. They listened to what we wanted and made perfect recommendations and we could not have been happier with the look and most importantly the taste of our cake.

This bakery is amazing! Not only did they agree to make our original wedding cake in a very short time, it was both beautiful and delicious! There amaretto raspberry swirl is divine! It had a Bavarian cream filling and was amazing. They do cakes for all sizes, themes, and they are extremely helpful and friendly.

I highly recommend Cakes by Carolyn. We were unable to do a tasting because we were coming from out of town. We had hoped that our wedding cake would look great, as well as, taste excellent. They surely did not disappoint as the cake was beautiful and everybody thought it was delicious.

We worked with the company from Texas as we planned our destination wedding in Florida. Everyone was incredibly easy to work with and they were responsive, responsible, and flexible. They talked to my niece for most of the planning, let my friend in Tampa do our taste testing, then finalized plans with my then fiance and me over the phone, never demonstrating the slightest bit of frustration or impatience with us. We sent a picture of a tea cup and they were able to create the design on a cake for us. They also coordinated with our restaurant for dinner after the wedding, dropped off our cake, and had it waiting beautifully arranged on a table for us when we arrived. I'm not sure how much Carolyn's did versus the restaurant in the set up, but that is the beauty of it all. We didn't have to worry about a thing! Our cake was beautiful, delicious, and very reasonably priced. Thank you Cakes by Carolyn!

Our wedding cake turned out beautiful! As I had a destination wedding, the cake had intricate coral detailing, with shells all around. It was delicious as well! We also had italian pastries ordered, and though I didn't personally try them, my guests said they were delicious.

Delicious cake and awesome staff! They were great to work with and promptly responded to my emails and calls. They made my cake exactly how I wanted it, and it tasted even better! I'd highly recommend their famous raspberry amaretto. Since I booked my wedding from out of state, I was not able to meet with them ahead of time, but that made no difference on the outcome of the cake. I'd highly recommend them!

We booked Cakes by Carolyn through the Grand Plaza wedding package! They customized and designed my cake JUST like the photo I showed them! It was PERFECT! Also, it tasted amazing! The buttercream frosting and raspberry amaretto were the perfect combination! Our cake was beautiful and so delicious! The meeting to design and do the tasting only took a few minutes because they are so professional! Planning and working with them was no problem! They are always available via phone or at the shop! The cake was so delicious we didn't even save our top teir for our anniversary! We ate it for breakfast the next morning in our penthouse suite drinking champagne and looking out over St. Pete Beach! I'll never forget it! I will be calling them, however, to get an anniversary cake next year!!! You can't go wrong with this bakery! Your wedding guests will even thank you!!!

Best tasting wedding cake you'll find anywhere. This is the second wedding cake we have ordered from Cakes By Carolyn. They work with the bride to ensure she gets the design as well as the taste she wants. They can't be beat.

Our cake was perfect! We made some changes to one of their display cakes and they absolutely nailed it. It was almost painful to cut! Not only was it picture perfect but it was delicious. We selected piña colada cake with pineapple filling for 2 layers, and key lime cake with coconut cream filling for the the 3rd. The moistness and flavor of the cakes was out of this world. staff was professional and gave us everything we asked for.

Spoke to them once on the phone. Explained what cake I saw on their Facebook page that I like and it was perfect!
Didn't see them when they delivered it, so didn't get much interaction with them but that it just fine!! Busy enough! :)
Went with a filling and oh my gosh by far one of the best cakes I've ever had!
Everyone loved it!! Didn't have much left over because most ppl had more than one piece!! Which speaks volumes!
Had white chocolate starfish and seashells on it...they looked awesome and tasted even better :)

Not only was our cake everything we hoped for ..it was absolutely beautiful as well!! The taste was great and we can't wait to get into it again for our 1st anniversary.

We tried several different cakes and Cakes by Carolyn's were by far the best. I was enjoying the tastings before there's although my wife not as much. She kept telling me she wasn't that impressed with the cakes! Then we tried Carolyn's!! Wow!! Great cake, great service, great value!! I would recommend them to all my friends.

We had a beach wedding and Carolyn provided the cake. It was gorgeous! We chose a white box design with white chocolate starfish that were painted light gold, with sugar sand. Besides being exactly what I imagined, the cake was delicious! We chose raspberry amaretto and everyone loved it. Highly recommend.

Delighted with the beach themed wedding cake that Cakes by Carolyn provided for us. Given we were travelling from the UK all the details were completed by e-mail. The cake was exactly what we were looking for, not only did it look great but it tasted fantastic.

We worked with Bonnie at Cakes by Carolyn. Our cake was a huge hit at our wedding at the Don Cesar!!!! It looked absolutely beautiful and tasted delicious. We got so many compliments on the cake. Bonnie went right off of the picture I showed her, and it looked exactly the way I pictured it. Cakes by Carolyn is very affordable and easy to work with. Highly recommend!!!!

We used cakes by Carolyn for our wedding at the grand plaza. We did a cake tasting 2 months prior. We decided to go with white cake but all were delicious! The day of the wedding the cake was beautiful, exactly what I invisioned (beach theme cake) and the best part was that it was delicious!!

I was a destination bride and did everything via phone and the internet. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to exactly what we wanted. They even did a "reminder call" to make sure the cake topper that I ordered would fit on our top layer of the cake. Our cake was so unique and beautiful and exactly what we asked for. It was also the best wedding cake I have ever had. If I lived closer I would use them for all of my cakes.

I was a destination bride and when I arrived, I stopped by their shop to make a payment. I was glad I did because I didn't love the look of my cake. I told them & they were so helpful & listened to my concerns. They offered to make cupcakes special so we could taste test the next day if we wanted. The day of the wedding, we saw our cake & LOVED it and it was DELICIOUS! ****tip- plan ahead for what you want to do for the top of your cake, had I known, they would have frozen the cake for us to fly home with us on dry ice... We didn't think ahead & were unable to take our cake top home with us. Oh well :) it was such a good cake, too!

I loved my wedding cake that Cakes by Carolyn made. It looked beauitful and tasted great. From the cake tasting to the day of my wedding, everyone was so easy to work with there. They are the best! Have you ever been to a cake tasting and the cake was awesome at the tasting but not that great the day of the event? Well I have! and this was not the case here. The cake was admasing and came out exactly how I wanted and in vision it! They will do anything you ask for !

Our wedding cake stole the show! Not only was it absolutely GORGEOUS, it tasted so delicious! We had a tier of red velvet cake, and another of their famous Amaretto raspberry swirl! Both were delicious! They gave us a free cake tasting before hand so we could choose our flavors and fillings. The shop was such a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend and will use again for future cakes!!!

Cakes by Carolyn was amazing!!! They made a beautiful cupcake tower for my wedding that looked exactly like the pictures I brought to them, and everyone was raving about how delicious the cake and cupcakes were! They showed up on time for the wedding day and set everything up and couldn't have been nicer to work with for my wedding! I would recommend this bakery to anyone who wants a delicious cake or delicious cupcakes for their wedding day or other special events!!!

My daughter ordered her cake from Cakes By Carolyn and it was amazing. We had two cake tastings and it was so hard to pick out 3 flavors because all of them tasted great. The ladies were so nice and easy to work with. Her theme was snow flakes and her cake was two different colors. It turned out beautifully. We were so happy. I would recommend Cakes By Carolyn not only for a wedding but for any other event you may have that requires a cake. I live an hour away and I would go back to her in a heart beat. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Bonnie and her team at Cakes by Carolyn went above and beyond our expectations when it came to making our wedding cake. They took the time to ensure we were able to taste all the cake options they had to offer. we had special requests on the way the cake looked and they ensured all the requests were granted. The cake tasting was wonderful and probably one of my favorite parts of the planning. Unfortunately, my fiance and I were in a car accident the week of the wedding and had to scale back the reception due to my injuries, which meant we didn't need a cake. They were so understanding and refunded us without any questions. We certainly plan on getting a smaller cake for us at some point once we get through the healing process a bit more.

My fiance and I were planning our wedding from another state and only had 4 months to do so. I read the reviews on Cakes by Carolyn and decided to give them a try. My future mother in law and friends went for a tasting and were totally blown away. I sent an inspiration photo by email and we selected our flavors. Cakes by Carolyn delivered a beautiful two tiered ombre cake in perfect timing to our wedding location in Indian Rocks Beach. I have to say it was seriously the best cake I have ever had!

The cake tasting was fun. The cake tasted good. Easy to work with and delivered to the venue with out issue. Price was definitely reasonable. The cake was very pretty, but they used the wrong color. It was supposed to be lavender (my colors were lavender and blue), and they used blue instead. I still don't know how that happened. I was very clear from the beginning the color was lavender. Had they used the right color I would have given them 5 stars.

We used Cakes by Carolynn for our wedding cake, this being my first wedding I may have been expecting too much. I thought that they would set up the cake with the cake toppers. They delivered the cake but it was left upstairs, our wedding was downstairs. Our toppers fell off the cake as we were trying to get it downstairs for the wedding and our toppers broke in 3 places. The cake was great, and everything worked out, I think I was just expecting a bit more on the delivery and execution.

The cake was delicious, but the day of our wedding there was a mixup, which resulted in us receiving the wrong order, but they corrected the problem with a partial refund after the wedding.
