  The dessert bar of our dreams!

  Going into our wedding planning, there was one things that we knew for sure: we absolutely love Quack’s and wanted to have it be a part of our wedding day. We not only ordered our wedding cake from them but also ordered an entire dessert bar from Quack’s: brownies, pies, cookies, you name it and they made it for us. Everything was so amazing and beautiful! Our guests still bring up how much they loved it, and if I had to plan again I would do everything the exact same. They were also wonderful to work with and helped us get to a mix that we loved. Highly recommend!

  Delicious as always

  We did a pick up order because we had a small wedding. The employees went over everything to make sure the order was complete and helped carry it to the car! We had more cupcakes then guests (by a lot) but had no cupcakes left over which speaks for itself! The staff was incredibly responsive. Do yourself a favor and get the chocolate ganache!

  the perfect cake!

  Highly recommend Lady Quackenbush's Cakery!! Great planning experience- kind, prompt and clear communication! Had a beautiful two tiered cake (vanilla and lemon) as well as a sheet cake (chocolate chip). Very tasty- our guests loved it!!

  Fantastic work! Will return for future sweets!

  Officially, we order from Lady Quackenbush's Cakery, a branch of Quack's Bakery. They are located in the Mueller area in East Austin. They are amazing. We had a special design we were hoping for, if it fit in our budget: A galaxy filled night sky with a full moon, a silhouette of black mountains on the side, with gold/shimmery dusting to look like the moonlight was reflected. It was supposed to be a representation of our wedding band design (stacked together they give this visual). We thought it would be impossible to find. Lady Quackenbush's proved us wrong and we're so glad!

  Officially, we order from Lady Quackenbush's Cakery, a branch of Quack's Bakery. They are located in the Mueller area in East Austin. They are amazing.   It was beautiful! I will try to update my review with photos once I locate them. They showed us a similar design one of them had come up with for a Star Trek themed cake. It was the exact night sky effect we were looking for! In buttercream - that's amazing! To keep it within our budget, we went with a 1 tier 10 inch cake (50 servings) with 30 cupcakes. The cupcakes were designed as different phases of the moon. The cake was chocolate with strawberry filling, and the cupcakes were to be vegan vanilla with vegan blueberry frosting and chocolate with strawberry jam. There was a small mixup with all of the cupcakes being vanilla, but when we asked about it, they immediately offered some options, including a free anniversary cake and a refund for those cupcakes. We went ahead with this particular option. Our anniversary came around and we did receive an anniversary cake that tasted as wonderful as the first.
  
  They really can do any design and will work with you from beginning to end. We've already gone back for more, including a gorgeous Faberge egg cake my husband got me for my birthday one year. Just fantastic!

  A must-have for our wedding

  Quack's Bakery is probably our favorite spot in all of Austin, so having Quack's provide the desserts at our wedding was a necessity (we decided that even before we had a venue). We had a mix of cakes (chocolate peanut butter, our favorite) and pies (pecan and peach-ginger). Everything was delicious, of course, and the decor on the main cake was exactly what we asked for and very fun!

  Delicious!

  I wish we could’ve eaten more cake!! But for real, we had two cakes (red velvet with vanilla frosting and almond cake with German chocolate ganache) and my husband and I keep saying we wish we got to eat more of it. Both cakes were so delicious and our guests raved about them! We loved working with Kirsten and she was so responsive through the whole process! Our cake tasting was so fun as well, we both felt taken care of and truly loved our cake(s)!! Thank you!!

  Beautiful and delicious!

  Quacks did an incredible job on my cake. Both the main cake and the grooms cake were beautiful and tasted great! It looked exactly as discussed and like the picture they were given as an example . No issues, highly recommend

  Easy to work with! Great value

  We ordered cookies from Quack's for our wedding. We wanted gingerbread cookies in the shape of bears. Unfortunately, the cookies that were delivered on the day of the wedding were sugar cookies. But, we didn't really care all that much. They were so cute! They were easy to work with, super responsive, and affordable.

  Quack Bakery - supplied and delivered all the deserts for our wedding at Elm Creek Ranch - Florence Texas.
  
  All the cakes and pies were AMAZING and sadly nothing was left over - except the wedding cake.
  
  Quacks did an amazing job with the naked cake and fresh flowers to go with our rustic garden and barn theme.
  Apart from beautiful everything tasted sooooo good - folks were getting 3 and 4 slices to try everything.
  
  Highly recommended vendors.

  The experience overall was amazing, but I want to bring special attention to the value. We got a tasting for four with a personal consultation and our cake for literally half what the other bakeries were charging for the same service. And it tasted and looked great!
  
  We did a 6"-over-8" show cake and two sheet cakes of different flavors (lemon and chocolate cinnamon). Both tasted great and were a big hit. The show cake was pretty -- a modern, spare look as we requested, but their picture book showed a huge range and I have no reason to doubt they can do whatever you throw at them.
  
  Definitely give them a try!

  We did not get our wedding cake from Quack's, but we made a last minute decision to give salty oat cookies as favors since those are my husband's favorite! Such a great decision! Quack's was so great to work with. They individually wrapped each cookie and put the stickers on them that we had ordered. Everyone raved about the cookies!

  Lack of communication

  Reached out to them several times about booking a tasting for my wedding, after I got the initial message I was not responded to. I called them, they said they didn’t see it. Okay I understand that. Booked to have a pick up tasting order for may 17th(today). I sent them my credit card information and asked to be sent an email when charged. After I sent them my information I haven’t heard back. Called them to confirm and they are close all day on mondays and Tuesday. Why would they book me for a day they aren’t even open. I talked to their other store and they have no orders for me. Just very unprofessional. Even if there... Read more
