Best Tasting Cupcakes

My husband and I chose to go with cupcakes, cannolis and a small wedding cake for us to cut. Alice makes the best pink champagne cupcakes! I am sure I will drive all the way to Yorktown (an hour away from me) each year to get some to celebrate our anniversaries. Alive was easy to work with, the price was great and everything turned out exactly as we wanted it. Our guests must have liked it as well because everything was gone before I even got anything (well other than the bite during our cake cutting)!

Our guests LOVED the cupcakes and cake Alice made for our wedding. She was so wonderful to work with and made all of our requests happen so easily. Her personality is so bright and bubbly and she is so genuinely excited for your big day and that is just incredible. We’re anxiously awaiting our next event to have some more of her cake!

Alice is a true professional in every sense of the word. The cake for our wedding was absolutely astounding!!! The look was eactly as we wanted and identical to the picture we sent to her. It was way better than we even ever imagined. We already knew how good Alice was and we were still impressed and amazed. Everyone loved the taste and made comments all night about how it looked and tasted! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking care of us and our wedding! Alice makes the rare wedding cake that looks too good to eat and yet still tastes phenomenal. She gave me exactly what I asked for, and although the cake I asked her to bake was relatively simple, she never made me feel like I wasn't worth her time. In fact, she often seemed just as excited about my wedding as I was! Thank you Alice for being a joy to work with and for turning out such a perfect finished product. I can't wait till our first anniversary to eat some more!

Alice, has own her business for over 27 years and was a winner on the TV series Cake Wars a few years ago. She was totally professional,with outstanding knowledge of her product. She listened intently to our ideas of what we wanted and help design the perfect wedding cake for us.

Alice Cooke was a pleasure to meet with and brought our vision for our cake design to life! When I showed her a picture of my wedding dress, she immediately fell in love with the hand stitched ruffled lace and was inspired to create that ruffle in the icing of my cake! My husband and I chose the tuxedo flavor after sampling the tuxedo cupcake and immediately fell in love with Alice's cake. At our reception, all our guests noticed that our cake matched my dress. Not one piece of cake was leftover! Highly recommend CakeAlicious for Alice's artful design and amazing taste!

Plan to spend time looking at a multitude of wedding cake designs. The photo albums are incredible but definitely get started by reviewing their website gallery! There are so many designs and styles to help you get started. Alice helped me select the perfect base for our wedding cake and she created the most magnificent, delicious cake for us. Her "wedding cake" flavor is like no other cake flavor...the cake was moist, delicious and light. We can't wait until our 1st anniversary so we can taste the topper we saved in the freezer :)

I came across CakeAlicious at a bridal show I attended in January. I tasted a sample of the Key Lime cake and was hooked! Alice Cooke, owner and baker, is the best. She did not disappoint. The cake she designed was simple and elegant, just like I wanted! The Key Lime was moist and awesome just like I remembered. It was a hit with everyone!

We got married a little over a year ago and actually just had our top tier for our anniversary! It tasted exactly as wonderful as it did on the day of our wedding. We worked with Randy to design the cake and he gave wonderful suggestions. I showed him pictures of what I liked and he was so accommodating. I asked to use my parents wedding cake topper and he made suggestions for how to make that work.
Alice did an amazing job realizing our design and it looked beautiful on the day of. Plus, the cake was absolutely delicious. Very moist and flavorful but not overpowering. Cakealicious was great to work with!

Alice made a beautiful and delicious cake for my daughter's wedding. She is a true artist, and passionate about cakes. My daughter and I went to a wedding show, and met her there, where she offered different flavor samples of her cakes. We loved the key lime curd filling, but went with the cookies and cream cake. It was a truly special cake.

Yum!! Cakealicious made an amazing cake for our wedding. Alice truly understood the feel of our wedding and did a great job making a cake match this. She was very responsive and easy to work with. The cake was delicious (I even had some for breakfast the next morning!). I can't wait to stop in for a cupcake next time we are in Williamsburg. I absolutely recommend Cakealicious for your wedding cake.

Incredible! My now husband and I only had to look one place for a wedding cake. That same day we had sketched out the cake with the owner and they drew us up a contract right then and there. We ended up changing the times a little bit, and the lady called me and said not to worry, that they would rearrange their schedule to make sure our cake was there on time! When we sketched our cake out, I was worried what it would look like because in my head it didn't look great. When the big day came, I saw the cake, and it was PERFECT!!! Not to mention also DELICIOUS! Super moist and not too rich. Everything was perfect. We have the top tier in our freezer and I can't WAIT until July 19, 2015 to eat it :)

My wedding cake was amazing! I loved working with Alice and how she was able to turn my dreams into reality. We got the strawberry fluff filling and it was delicious! All my guests were commenting on how good the cake was!

We made arrangements for the cake via e-mail. We knew the cake would be beautiful from the online photos we had seen. We did not know, however, that the cake would be so moist tender and delicious! We ordered a cake twice the size we needed, but there were only 5 slices left. We are so pleased and definitely would recommend the Williamsburg Cakealicious to anyone for any occasion.

*** If you have not had a chance to stop by their new shop and sample any of their products...do yourself a flavor (I'd start with the carrot cake) and go see Alice and Randy. They make and bake from scratch to deliver outstanding products!***

The time and attention we were given in our planning session was perfect.
The cake was both beautiful and delicious. The frosting and design were traditional. The cake was a wonderful red velvet with a cheesecake mousse filling-amazing!
Guests called it the "best cake they'd ever eaten" !

I wanted my wedding cake to be perfect. I checked out about 4 places before making my decision. After seeing Alice's attention to detail and portfolio, I knew she was the one for me. The day of my wedding I was running around getting ready and had all of these emotional moments happening one after the other... but I hadn't cried yet....when I snuck upstairs to see the reception venue before we started....I saw the cake and collapsed into tears...of JOY. It was the most beautiful creation I had ever seen. It was pristine and nothing was out of place. I could not be happier with the result. She took all of my requests and ideas and incorporated them into a master piece of artwork. AND the cake was delicious! Everyone loved it. We just did simple wedding white with no filler and all the guests thought it was one of the best wedding cakes they had ever had. Definitely choose Alice at Cakealicious for your event!

Alice did a fantastic job on my wedding cake! Everyone love the way the cake looked and especially the way it tasted! First meeting her, I had ideas and she had ideas to help enhance my vision! Not only is she very friendly and easy going but extremely talented! It is a family owned business so the whole process of ordering my cake to my cake being delivered (by her husband) was great! CakeAlicious Design Studio was amazing! Alice was so friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. We had a cupcake tower at our wedding, we choose the wedding white cake with the raspberry and vanilla cream filling, and we also had a lemon cake with lemon filling-they were hands down the BEST cupcakes I've ever had- very moist and full of flavor!! The cupcakes and the top cake were decorated so beautifully and were just what I imagined they would be. Thank you so much Alice and everyone at CakeAlicious for perfect wedding cupcakes!

Alice provided top-notch service to us. From our consultation to our wedding day, everything was perfect. My guests are still raving about how delicious our cake was. Alice worked with us to design a cake that was even more beautiful that I envisioned. I highly recommed Cakealicious Design Studio for all types of cakes, from wedding to groom's cakes to birthday cakes to speciality cakes. She also has awesome cupcakes!! Her prices are reasonable also.

From the moment I met Alice I had nothing but a warm feeling in my heart. She is a stellar business woman!!!!! I can't say enough about how beautifully she took my ideas, concerns and uncertainties and turned them into an unforgettable wedding cake!!!! The cake was moist, delicious and not a crumb was left. All I can say is beautiful and delicious! We had a mad hatter cake, and it was very unique. My dress had hues of pink and a pale green. My colors were watermelon (from David's Bridal) and green. She did an amazing job on the design of the cake. And the taste was to die for! It was the best red velvet cake I have ever had! We did it all red velvet and did not plan to save the top tier. Even though it was able to be saved, there was plenty of cake to go around! I will definitely be going back to Alice! Thank you sooo much! ( I wish I could attache a picture)

Alice is so incredibly talented. I walked into her sweet shop with no clue of what I wanted. After only about 30 min I walked out with the most amazing unique design made just for me! It mimiced my dress, and incorperated so many elements of my wedding. She game me everything I wanted without any hesitation.
She was also a guest at my wedding but she was there to help set it up and the display was like a peice of art. we suprised my husband with a hilarious ball and chain grooms cake that the guests questioned if they could eat it because it looked so real!
My wedding day was so magical and it waoulnt have been without Alice and her amazing talent!!!
Thanks Alice, We love you!!!!

Alice is wonderful and super flexible. I'm not the most creative so she was super helpful in coming up with a unique and elegant design. She even asked if she could upgrade our cake...of course! She really goes out of her way to please and the cake is so great I ate 5 pieces that night and was still looking for more the next day! I can't wait for the next big occasion to call her!! Love ya Alice.. you are one in a million with a great talent and a big heart!

Alice makes the most amazing wedding cakes!! We came to her with a photograph and a few ideas and she turned our vision into reality! The cake was even more beautiful (and delicious) than we could have ever imagined. Our guests couldn't stop talking about it! Alice truly went above and beyond for us. Our cake needed roughly 15 live orchids, and our coordinator ordered the wrong ones! We were scrambling all over the area trying to find the right flower the day of rehearsal and couldn't find anything! These specific flowers were out of season and very hard to find! Just when we thought everything was ruined Alice called and saved the day!! She found the flowers and the cake turned out amazinggg! We owe her a HUGE thanks for making our day truly special!!

The cake was beautiful and most importantly delicious. I think there were about 6 pieces left at the end of the reception. Many went back for seconds. The professionalism was top notch, I would highly recommend Creations from the Heart.

Alice went above and beyond! we had a 5 teerd wedding cake, a guitar shaped grooms cake (which looked EXACTLY like my husbands to every single detail of his personal guitar!) and an aniversery cake for my parents! I've never had a cake like hers! She makes everything from scratch and it is absolutly perfect! We always order an "Alice Cake" for birthdays and I've had her work at many weddings, Sweet 16 parties and Bridal Showers. You seriously cannot go wrong with this woman! She truly does it for the right reasons, from the bottom of her heart and wants to make your day a special as possible! You will never know what you missed out on if you dont at least talk to this lady!

Amazing cupcakes!

We loved our cake/cupcakes! They looked exactly like what we asked for. The guests loved them and loved the real fruit inside. There were some small glitches that were out of her control, but Alice handled them well and everything went off without a hitch. We loved everything!

When we started looking for cakes we ran into a bit of a roadblock. See, we wanted to have a coconut cake made for us but with a specific family recipe (in honor of a grandmother). Since we were getting married out of town AND did not want to have family worry about making it, we started the long search.

Alice was absolutely amazing about it, not only did she recreate the cake but two-tiered, absolutely beautifully and was touched by our family inclusion.

Alice and her husband make the perfect bakery pair. CakeAlicious was the only place we looked to when choosing our wedding cake. They helped us design our perfect wedding cake and were flexible when some changes had to occur at the last minute. We received SO many compliments on how delicious our cake was! They have the most amazing tasting cakes ever!! Alice is absolutely wonderful to work with and created my dream wedding cake. It was beautiful! The only thing I didn't like was I had to buy their cupcakes in order to taste anything. It is the only cake business I met with that made me buy a tasting. Wasn't a good first impression but the cake ended up being worth it!

Alice from Creations from the Heart was a dream to work with for my wedding cake. I constantly pestered her with questions, which she always promptly answered. She was always courteous and never was flustered or annoyed with my constant communication. We collaborated very effectively on the design of my cake. I went to her with about five designs, which we narrowed down to one. She was extraordinarily flexible with the delivery of the cake! I loved working with Alice and would highly recommend any bride to work with her!!

We had CakeAlicious make a cake for my wife and I for to celebrate our 22 wedding anniversary and the renewal of our vows and I have to say that not only did the cake look beautiful, but it also tasted just as good. I am the groom and almost didn't get a piece myself. The professionalism of CakeAlicious Design Studio was top notch and catered to everything that we were looking for. We are planning on having them make a chocolate cake for us soon just for GP!!!

Cakealicious was my first shop option for my wedding cake. Our meeting with Alice was fun and yummy. I did not receive a preview of my cake, which is typical and when I saw it at my venue, I thought it was the most beautiful cake I'd ever seen. It was moist and just the perfect amount of sweet. I also ordered a groom's cake from her and I don't think the groom got any! Everyone raved about that one too. They were beautiful and perfect and Alice is such a sweet lady. You're in good hands.

I loved my wedding cake! I will say that you should book early and have a good idea of what you want when you go in for a consultation. We waited a bit longer than we should have and they were very upfront about their schedule and how I would not be able to order an over-the-top cake for the date I needed because they already had several commitments that day. They did their best to accommodate me and my requested design. I searched a long time for a cake designer I could trust. A lot of other cake places in the area had portfolios with 1 or 2 great looking cakes and the rest were just OK. Cakealicious has a consistently good portfolio and I was so pleased with my cake. The taste, look, everything was just as I expected and hoped for. Another recommendation I would give to any bride and groom considering Cakealicious is to trust your consultant. They are experienced and will not be shy to let you know that your requested design may not look very good in reality. They will offer suggestions and I would suggest that you TRUST them.

For my wedding, we did several small cakes with different flavors which was a big hit with the wedding guests. Everyone loved the cakes and enjoyed getting to decide which flavor was their favorite. The cakes arrived prior to the reception safely and looked beautiful. The price and quality was great!
My only complaint is that the owner didn't remember everything we had discussed at our original consultation and didn't entirely understand her own notes about each cake. Thankfully, I went into the location to make the final payment and confirm our request because she had missed our order for the main two-tier cake in her notes. She argued with me and then questioned the price I paid. After she disappeared to the back of the building for 10 minutes, she came back and said everything was all set. This didn't provide me with the most confidence in their services, but all was well for the wedding day and I am still happy I went with CakeAlicious for our cake vendor.

My daughters wedding was May 6th 2017. I will start by saying the cake itself was delicious and everyone loved it. However, my experience with CakeAlicious was not the best. First of all I had emailed them the designs we wanted with the greenery on the cake, then I went personally and spoke with Alice making sure she got them as well as the cake topper. Alice immediately expressed a concern with the toppers and that they might be difficult to put on the cake (they were plastic toy dinosaurs, the bride and grooms choice, and a small mr and mrs heart blocks) after much discussion she said she could make it work. Then, she had a concern with the greenery. I told her I was working with Jeffs Flowers and she quickly said that they work great together and either I could bring the greenery in to her before, or have it waiting the day of the wedding on the table. She already had the photo so she knew how to wrap the cake so after talking to Jeffs, I emailed Alice and told her the greenery would be on the table. The day of the wedding comes and several things did not go well. First of all, the person she sent to set up the cake called my wedding planner and asked what we wanted done with the greenery on the table, alert #1. Next of all when they put the toppers on the cake they put the "Mr" heart under the bride dinosaur and the "Mrs" under the groom (the brides maids noticed this later and quickly fixed it moving the dinosaurs, so the difficulty of getting the toppers on the cake wasn't hard at all, the bridesmaids did it in a flash, unfortunately not before the professional pictures). When I ordered the cake I told Alice we wanted the top of the cake for the bride and groom to keep for the year. The day of the wedding there was no box for the topper and we called and were told it cost extra, had I have been told this the day we ordered I would have purchased it, luckily the host at Altruia Farms fixed a make shift box to put the topper in so it could be kept.
