My Dung Sent on 09/23/2021Affordable, delicious cake with a lot of customization options!
This shop is local to my husband's family and has gotten fame from several TV baking competition. Due to COVID, our cake tasting was a to-go DIY kit in which there were multiple cupcakes with frostings and fillings in individual jars that we could mix/match. This was actually super fun to do at home with my fiance!
We ended up choosing 1/2 sheet cake of lemon cake with strawberry filling and another 1/2 sheet cake of black bottom cake with mocha frosting. Both were big hits!! We were told 1/2 sheet would feed 50 so we planned on 100 but the cakes are tall/large so we definitely had a lot leftover. Our 3 tiered cake was a semi-faux cake they covered in fondant for us with a small 6in at the top for cutting. It was beautiful and packaged nicely for us to pick up. They worked closely with us to fit our needs, super easy to work with. Our wedding was on Sunday and unfortunately the shop is closed so they could not deliver. We picked it up Saturday and it was still perfect by the reception time. Was definitely a great value overall! We would definitely recommend the black bottom cake if you are in the Baltimore area!! -

OH My God Jason and his staff did such an amazing job with our wedding we had guest calling us to see if it was any wedding cake left over that we were trying to give away absolutely amazing it was the right amount of moist flavor exactly as we wanted the cake design to the absolute perfect of what we designed we have no complaints we actually go to Jason cakes at least once a week/ 2 weeks just for his cupcakes we even got our 1 year anniversary cake from here as well and yet again he did not let us down -

The team at Cake by Jason created the most beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding! Every detail was perfect, from the design to the flavors, and it truly felt like a work of art. The cake tasted just as amazing as it looked, and our guests couldn’t get enough of it. They were professional, easy to work with, and made sure everything went smoothly on the big day. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail made the cake a standout part of our celebration. We feel so lucky to have had Cake by Jason as our baker and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a cake that tastes as incredible as it looks! -

The team absolutely knocked it out of the park with our cake! From the beginning, they were so easy to work with and Gretchen made sure to figure out exactly what we wanted and how to make it happen. They were incredibly flexible, and offered options from simple to extravagant, all depending on what we wanted! We went more simple with design, but the taste was anything but simple!! We chose two flavors, chocolate with vanilla, and coconut with raspberry, and both were drool-worthy!!! Our guests all commented on how delicious the cake was! I've been to quite a few weddings in the last few years, and I might be a little biased, but I think our cake was by far the best out of them all! We've got our top tier saved for our first anniversary, but I don't know if we'll be able to resist temptation that long! Guess we'll just have to go see Jason for birthdays, holidays, random Tuesdays.... whenever we can justify getting some delicious cake! -

Our cake was beautiful and delicious! Not to mention it was funfetti, my favorite flavor and not one offered by all bakeries.
Gretchen was extremely easy to work with and helped us pick a wedding cake within our budget. We would certainly buy from Cakes by Jason again! -

Our wedding and groom's cakes from Cake by Jason were the most beautiful, and most delicious, cakes we have ever had! From the tasting, to the design conversations, to the delivery, the team was phenomenal to work with and we LOVED how they turned out. We even did a "first look" photo session with our cakes because we knew we'd want the photos of our reactions. -

I have celiac and wanted to have a cake cutting at my wedding but knew I didn't want all my guests eating GF cake. So I looked around and found Cake by Jason. He offers a lot of different flavors and options when it comes to size and decorations. We purchased a 6" round and it was the perfect size! He nailed the look of my cake as well - I sent him a pinterest photo and he knocked it out of the park. They were amazing! I dont' have my wedding photos back yet but I will try to post a cake photo once I have it :) -

Cake by Jason was such a great find. They offer a rare combination of amazing decorative work with cake that's actually tasty and fresh. We gave them inspiration pictures, but asked them to be creative and they absolutely ran with it. The tiny touches of detail were stunning. (And try the cookie dough frosting--you won't regret it.) -

Cake by Jason was a great vendor to work with, especially in the middle of a pandemic. They packaged flavors that we selected and were very flexible with times to call and chat about details. I've always enjoyed Cake by Jason and all of their fabulous goodies, so it was an easy choice picking them to do our wedding cake! -

So yummy! So pretty!
We ordered a small cutting cake and like eight dozen cupcakes for our wedding. Everything was so beautiful and delicious! They made it super easy for us to order and the price was definitely worth it! -

We decided to do a smaller wedding cake and mini cupcakes for our guests because all of the cake flavors were delicious!
