Working with Caitlinn was absolutely one of the best (if not the best) decisions we made when planning our wedding. I've followed Caitlinn's work for years and just knew that her artistic style and approach would be perfect for our wedding. We've only gotten our sneak peek, but Caitlinn has already blown us away. She was such a joy to work with from our initial meeting to the day of. One of our favorite parts of our wedding was when we ran out for golden hour photos. We'd recommend her to anyone if you want to have a blast and receive the most gorgeous wedding photos. -

The best there is!!
Caitlinn was the absolute best!!! Her and her staff were extremely friendly and made the entire bridal party feel comfortable. She’s got an amazing personality. Our sneak peak photos were sent to us the next morning after our wedding. I was in complete shock at how thorough and prompt she was. Our photographs were stunning. She went above and beyond to find the best locations for us. I highly recommend Caitlinn to catch all your memories on your magical day. You won’t regret it!! -

Hire her immediately!
To say I am obsessed with Caitlinn’s work would be a major understatement! She was our photographer for our wedding in the Hudson Valley in May 2023. The events of the day were supposed to be half inside and half outside, as the venue had a super gorgeous property with lots of outdoor areas for photos. Unfortunately, it ended up raining A LOT that day, so we had to shift things around and move everything indoors. Caitlinn was familiar with the property as she had photographed weddings at the venue before, but she had never done a fully indoor wedding there. She and her co-photographer, Laurel, quickly jumped into action to scope out the place and find the most gorgeous places to take photos indoors. We also caught a break in the rain before the reception, so Caitlinn and Laurel got us outside to get some of the beautiful shots outside we were hoping for!
Not only did our photos turn out incredible but they were both a blast to hang out with all day. Also, I kid you not, in less than 24 hours she sent a sneak peek of our photos (~80 images) and got us the full photo set (over 1800 pictures) SO quickly! The photos couldn’t have turned out any better! They perfectly captured our love and the excitement of the day. They were the perfect mix of your traditional posed photos and the true candids documenting all the special moments. I cannot rave enough about how great Caitlinn & Laurel were in helping make our special day even more perfect! I without a doubt recommend her to any and every one looking for an amazing wedding photographer!! -

Caitlin Sent on 04/20/2023Brilliant Photographer and Magical Human Being
This review is long overdue, but our approaching anniversary made me realize I still hadn’t shared how amazing Caitlinn is and how important she was to our whole wedding journey.
Caitlinn was with us since day one. My husband hired her to photograph our proposal and take our engagement pictures right then and there. It was a magical experience and she made us feel so comfortable. I never thought I’d like getting my picture taken so much, but when Caitlinn is behind the camera it’s so much fun!
The venue we picked was on the far side of Connecticut, hours away, so we initially started looking for a different photographer. Thank goodness we came to our senses! And thank goodness when we did, Caitlinn was still available. We were so thrilled to be working with her again.
As the wedding got nearer, we realized that we were going to have to downsize due to restrictions, and enough of our family and friends wouldn’t be able to join us that we started planning wedding part 2 for a year after the original. Caitlinn was such a key part of our vendor team, that we picked the second date based on her availability. She’s that good.
And what makes her so good? She’s a brilliant photographer, she makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, she is an absolute joy to be around. She’s someone my gramma’s friend would call a pistol. Just full of zeal and energy and humor but totally down to earth and fun. All that combines to make her a fantastic person to work with. Your photographer is one of the people you spend the most time with on your wedding day, and you will not regret spending the day with Caitlinn. Even more so when you get your GORGEOUS pictures back! Caitlinn photographed our proposal, our original wedding, and wedding part 2 and she delivered every time. It means so much having all these memories so beautifully captured. -

Before I was even engaged, I had my eye on Caitlinn Maharr-Daniels photography. My cousin got married and she was their photographer. After seeing their photos online, I knew I wanted to keep my eye on her. After that, she did my other cousin's wedding, as well as my best friend (and wedding officiant) Katie's. By the time my wedding came around I was certain who our photographer would be. My husband and I also do photography a bit for work, and Caitlinn's eye is absolutely unreal. She's incredibly professional, and the entire day even when things in your schedule can go sideways, she's incredibly flexible and quick while getting all the shots she needs. We only got our sneak preview but I know without seeing the rest my mind will be absolutely blown. We also both agreed our favorite part of the day was taking weddings with her and her assistant. She is incredibly kind, funny and unique! I highly recommend her for any wedding. I can't wait to frame all these photos! -

Where to begin with Caitlinn and Brian? The Ramsdens were the first vendors we decided on and the only vendor I cared to keep when we had to change our entire wedding due to COVID (so much so, that I planned our new date around them)... I came across their photos on a blog and my decision was all but made - decision was solidified within SECONDS of facetiming with them. It instantly felt like we were connecting with friends that just happened to have the most talented eye for wedding photography in the world. On our wedding day, I was a bundle of nerves until Caitlinn and Brian walked into the room where I was getting ready. I was immediately at ease and just full of joy. Our families adored them, and currently we cannot speak to a single friend or family member without them absolutely gushing about our wedding photos. The day was something out of a dream and we get to re-live it over and over again in full color and feeling thanks to our photos. -

After getting a taste of what it was like to work with the Ramsdens when I was in my friends wedding, I automatically knew I HAD to have them photograph mine. Basically, their work is just so magical and beautiful that I made sure my wedding date fit into their schedule. Brian also officiated our ceremony and it was the most beautiful and loving ceremony ever. I would recommend them over and over again. Thank you so much Caitlinn and Brian for being so flexible and amazing during my crazy Covid wedding planning! -

Brian and Caitlinn are truly incredible! Before even booking our wedding I had seen their work on Instagram and knew that we needed to have them as our photographers. We first met them in Spring of 2019 for our engagement shoot (in the pouring rain at 5:45AM for a shoot on the Brooklyn Bridge!) and knew we made the right decision as soon as we met. Caitlinn is bubbly and helps make those oh so awkward moments when you are posing for photos feel natural, and Brian is super organized and made sure we got through every shot on our list. We had planned to have them shoot our Spring 2020 wedding, which got severely derailed by COVID-19. They were incredibly empathetic and so wonderfully flexible as we navigated the panic of rescheduling to a new date, and then totally pivoting to a micro-wedding. The photos that we got are truly incredible - they captured our day so perfectly and I honestly cannot believe it is us in some of the photos. They are the full package - incredibly talented artists, excellent planners (no added stress day of!), kind and fun! If you are thinking of booking them, do it. You will be so happy - both with the experience of working with them and the beautiful photos that you will cherish forever. -

Future Brides! This is my letter to you, it's going to go fast and you're going to wish you can pause for a moment in time so you can enjoy and take in everything, but you can't, it's not possible! This is where solid and beautiful photography comes in. There is nothing worse than a bad photographer taking all your hard work and showcasing it in a way that doesn't live up to your expectations or do YOU, your husband or the venue justice. Not the case with The Ramsdens, this husband and wife duo not only love "love", but they both love what they do and it shows in their work. They take great pride in everything they do from their IG posts to their relationships with their brides & grooms, they want you to be happy but #1 make sure you get ALL the photos you asked for on your wedding day which I appreciated. The e-mail communication is constant and helpful and they don't take "forced" or "posed" photos which I like, it was a healthy mixture of everything so you and your husband don't look like two shleps on your wedding day LOL. I trusted them throughout my wedding day because I knew no matter what, the photos would come out fiyahhh. I'm also not into glossy photos, gaudy decor, lacquer bounded photo albums so if that's your thing, no judgement but these guys are not for you. Let their photos speak for themselves, and while photography is quite expensive, trust when I say it's one of those things you can't skimp out on because it will for SURE reflect in the outcome and even your day depending on how professional they are. I also know TR aren't taking as many weddings as they used to so if you're thinking of hiring them do so ASAP especially if they have your wedding date, you won't regret it!!! -

Beyond My Wildest Expectations
We hired The Ramsdens for our August 2019 wedding and that decision was, without a doubt, the best money we spent on our wedding. I’ve been a bridesmaid in MANY weddings and knew the importance of not only hiring a photographer that takes beautiful photos, but one that you feel comfortable with… you spend SO MUCH of your day with them! We skyped with Caitlinn and Brian early in the planning process and I immediately felt their positive energy and warmth. I had this feeling that we just HAD to go with them and I’m so thankful we did. They are friendly, funny, energetic, and made my husband and I feel so comfortable throughout our time with them. I was a little nervous that during our solo photos we’d be a bit stiff with everything going on that wedding weekend (we’re not models… I was not confident in our ability to look effortless and beautiful under wedding day madness), but as soon as we started taking pictures, Caitlinn and Brian made us feel like we were just hanging out with two friends and we really got to enjoy ourselves, have some laughs, and take a breath with each other on such a crazy fast day and I promise you… this relaxed energy they create will show in your photos!
Now for the photos – oh my god. When we got our highlight photos the next morning I was literally speechless. I just sat there staring at them with my jaw on the floor. Who were these stunning people in these wedding ad-worthy photos? OH MY GOD… they’re us! The photos are gorgeous, but what I really treasure is that I could see the love my husband and I have for each other so clearly reflected in these moments captured on our wedding day. Some of the photos are serious and stunning, some portray the goofs that we are … just like we wanted. When we got our full album a short 2 weeks later (HOW?!?! They’re magicians. Only explanation.) we immediately sent it to our close family and friends and everyone was just blown away. Even now, months later, people are still coming up to us telling us how stunning our photos are, and several engaged friends have asked for The Ramsdens contact information for their own weddings… what higher compliment is there?
Caitlinn and Brian are creative, professional, funny, thoughtful, and will 100% give you not only photos beyond your wildest expectations, but they’ll make the whole process feel fun and effortless.

I can't say enough about The Ramsdens and the photos they took of our wedding! They were amazing to work with throughout the entire wedding process, especially with how professional, relaxed, and fun (all at the same time) they were on our wedding day!
They work so quickly, know exactly the photos needed, and got us to our cocktail hour so that we could spend as much time with friends and family as possible!
They even turned around some preview pictures after a day - I quickly went over my mobile data while we were on our honeymoon because I couldn't stop looking at them! The turn around for the rest of the photos was not long after that, which is amazing as I've had friends who had to wait MONTHS for their pictures.

The Most Beautiful Photos You’ll Ever See
The Ramsdens create the most breathtaking photos of all time! They helped me and my husband feel comfortable in front of the camera so quickly and it really shows in the pics. The result is over a thousand pictures of pure love and happiness. Bryan and Caitlinn are fun and lighthearted while simultaneously being incredibly professional. The experience of working with them and the photos that you will receive are worth every penny you’ll spend. -

As someone who works in the wedding industry, I knew I wanted/needed The Ramsdens to photograph my wedding before I was even engaged. Since the very first time I worked with them, I noticed something very different about their photos. The photos are not only visually incredible, but highlight and truly capture the relationship between two people. They make the whole process a fun, enjoyable experience from beginning to end. They also make the experience very fluid and natural, coming from someone who is very rarely photographed. Nothing felt forced or posed, and they have the most creative eye. Brian and Cait are the two most incredible people I've ever had the pleasure of getting to know. I felt like I had two of my best friends at my wedding there to enjoy it with me, but they also took charge in the kindest way to keep everything on track so the whole day ran smoother than I could have imagined. The Ramsdens were one part of my wedding I knew I needed, as the photographs are going to be with me forever. I can't explain how important it is to go with people you trust. You can put all your trust in Cait and Brian. Their creativity, professionalism, work ethic and passion are above the rest. -

When my husband and I were researching who we wanted to shoot our wedding, we wanted to work with someone who didn’t just shoot posed fake photos on the weekends, but work with someone who was truly passionate about their work. We lucked out and found TWO individuals, Caitlinn and Brian, who are exactly that - the most real and honest people who simply love what they do and it truly shows through their pictures. They capture the most natural of moments, in the most flattering lighting creating magic. Their work is just unbelievable. We LOVED working with them so much and they have captured such a monumental moment in our lives in ways that we couldn’t even imagine. The planning process was so easy - they answered all of our questions in a timely manner, listened to our requests and made the wedding so easy and seamless for us and our family and friends. Everyone in our party can't stop complimenting them :). Stop searching and just book Caitlinn and Brian already! It will be the best decision you make. -

Not just the best photographers, the best people!!!
I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE RAMSDENS!
1. Nicest, most down to earth, warmest couple you will ever meet, literally wish they were my friends
2. INCREDIBLY organized, you will never for a second have a doubt that they are ALL over it
3. THE PHOTOS ARE BREATH TAKING, literally before anyone says anything else about the wedding they say WOW THOSE PHOTOS
4. Made me feel so beautiful and so comfortable, the photos celebrate who we are as a couple but GLAMMIFIED
5. BRIAN LITERALLY KEPT ME FED AND GAVE ME WATER... like ACTUALLY they care SO SO MUCH, not just about the job but about YOU, every time i got overwhelmed for a moment they were there for me, they always had my back
6. DID I MENTION THE PHOTOS? they will get shots you can't even dream of, i post probably 50 a day because WOW
honestly.... not booking the ramsdens will be your only wedding regret, they will be in our lives forever, these are two of the best people i have met, and i am BLOWN away by their work and pure hearts. the best. simply the best. -

If you've found yourselves on the Ramsden's website or social profiles - look no further!!! Caitlinn and Brian shot our wedding this past May and they were an absolute DREAM to work with. The overall vibe felt as though we were working with a childhood friend who could make you laugh and feel comfortable, but also left you with the reassurance that each moment would be captured beautifully. From the moment they arrived on our wedding day until the very end - not a detail was missed, and when we go through our photos, I am able to close my eyes and relive that exact memory. The most incredible photographers around...
It's hard to put into words how amazing Caitlinn & Brian really are. From the moment I started following these two on instagram, I fell in love with their work. After our first phone conversation with them, we immediately realized that these two were so passionate about what they do, that it really does shine through onto every couple they photograph. We booked them almost two years before our wedding and they kept in contact with us throughout that entire time, just to check in, which gave us such a warm welcoming feeling. When our wedding day came Caitlinn & Brian could not have done a more phenomenal job. They made us feel so comfortable from the beginning. Brian was so extremely sweet all day, offering me his jacket if I was cold, offering to get me food or drinks, telling our crazy family members (haha!) to kindly put their phones away during our ceremony so we could get the best photos possible...I could go on and on about genuine and kind things that he did. Every photograph we took was so natural thanks to them, nothing was overly posed. They are incredibly fast and efficient which means a lot on the day of a wedding especially when you have such a tight timeline like we did. They breezed through every single photo we required them to take, never ever making anything stressful for one second. After our incredible night was over, they already had a sneak peak for us that very next morning!!!! And we had our full gallery soon after that, the timing was way quicker than I could ever imagine or even expect. These two people are truly beautiful souls and I would recommend them to the highest, highest degree. We are so lucky to have been able to work with The Ramsden's, they made our day sincerely unforgettable. -

Katherine Sent on 09/17/2018I don’t even know where to start with how much we love Caitlinn and Brian. I knew right away when they were a fellow international couple, that we would click. And I was right! From the first email, to our fun bbq together, to our wedding day- it was perfection. Prior to meeting, they were always quick with responding to emails and I often chatted with either of them over social media as well which was fun! After meeting in person, we felt even more at ease and knew for sure we made the right decision choosing them. On our wedding day they made us feel so comfortable! On a day that was a bit chaotic (our family and friends really know how to party), they maintained professionalism and made us and our guests their priority. Many of our guests came up to me during the wedding to say how great they were and how they even showed some of our guests the photos they were taking throughout the night. What you see is what you get with them, but even more! They truly are artists and their work is incredible. There is not enough I can say about their work ethic either. They had our sneak peek ready 24 hours after our wedding! I have friends who have been married and did not get their photos back for 6 months, so this was shocking! They aren’t just our photographers, but now our friends :)

Pam Sent on 08/26/2018To have The Ramsdens capture our wedding day was truly a dream come true. They are amazing individuals with such passion and care for what they do. I’ve received so many compliments on our photos and even family members have told me they didn’t look as good in their wedding pictures as they did in mine. They have an unreal ability to capture you in the moment and make it absolutely beautiful. As I mentioned we were so lucky to have them be a big part of our day and capture our moments that we will cherish forever.
One really important thing to mention is they are CUSTOMER OBSESSED. My husband and I love their artsy flair, but they were down for some personal requests - like laying down in a field and my husband giving me a piggy back ride (which to no surprise came out AMAZING!). They organized and ran our day and we did not need to worry about a thing. Brian and Caitlinn even went up to our guests and photographed many of them and it was such a pleasant surprise! If you have the honor of booking with them...DO IT. You will not regret.

Not only did the quality in their craft surpass all of my expectations but the amount of care, customer service and genuine interest in our wants and needs blew our minds. They were so attentive and supportive in our entire wedding process from the first email and phone call, up until the wedding day. Brian and Caitlinn have now become some of our closest friends! I couldn’t imagine having booked any other photographers, for the happiest event in our lives. Any other decision would have been a mistake. Thank you for EVERYTHING you’ve done for us and all of the other clients who love you. Our day was better having you a part of it!

Cheryl Sent on 01/04/2018Caitlinn and Brian made our dreams come true on our wedding day. They captured some of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen, as well as any one I have showed them to. They are both so passionate about what they do that working with them was so easy, especially because my groom HATES taking pictures. As we were shooting pictures Brian was taking a few shots on his iPhone and showing us. I literally cried at how breathtaking they were. We felt as if we were in some magical winter wonderland. We were getting so excited about what else they had in store for us.
They smiled all day long even though it was 10 degrees outside and with each shot they took they were just as excited as us. Caitlinn had fun all day long constantly looking for the perfect spot to capture the beauty of the day. Their photography is amazing and they are also the most chill people ever! During our reception I was trying to sit for a few minutes to have a bite and Brian came over and told me he was going to stand guard so I had 5 minutes to relax and enjoy the food, and HE DID! Which was so kind.
Our wedding was New Year’s Eve weekend and they were so quick to send us a sneak peek of our photos by New Years Day. They are so professional and precise. They were such a PLEASURE to work with! If you want all the magic captured on your wedding day The Ramsdens are the one to do it!

The Ramsdens are not only amazingly sweet and fun people, they're also unbelievably talented. From our first meeting, to our engagement shoot, to our wedding day these two were professional, fun to work with, and made my husband and I feel at ease in front of the camera. Caitlinn was fun, spontaneous, and excited about everything they were shooting, while Brian was amazingly sweet, accommodating, and helpful, and did anything to make my and my husbands day enjoyable and easy. Not only are they great people, they sent us a "sneak peek" of photos the day after our wedding, and they were so fun and beautiful! Valerie Sent on 07/14/2017My husband and I truly enjoyed being photographed by The Ramsdens. Prior to our ceremony, the experience was relaxed and full of laughs, clear directions, creativity, and reassuring sneak peeks. The vibe was just what you want right before you say your vows. After the ceremony was over, Caitlinn and Brian shot mostly documentary style with a few exceptions for some posed pictures outside where they could take full advantage of the magic hour light we got. Some of those shots included getting ranges of 30- 50 people in a straight line on a hill... which they did with complete patience! The Ramsdens are the absolute best in the business for that and so much more. They know their way around a camera and always get the dreamiest of pictures without you feeling like you are constantly 'on' for the camera. I simply can't say enough kind things about this talented duo. Every time I look at the photos, I feel the magic of becoming husband and wife all over again. Thank you for capturing the joy of our wedding day, Ramsdens! We look forward to being in our 70's, holding hands, and saying 'Remember when...' with our wedding album. -

Tara Sent on 06/07/2017THE BEST. By far- the easiest decision of our entire wedding planning process. I could run out of space saying how great Caitlinn & Brian are. First of all, they are incredible people. They are down to earth, witty, and kind. Throughout the process, they became more than our wedding photographers- but friends. They are excellent communicators and respond very quickly. I will truly miss our chatting!
Now, their photography skills, oh my... Amazing. I have received so many complements on my photos from people I barely know. It was very important to me to have someone that captured the beauty the environment and nature. They definitely proved this is something they can do when we went ventured up a waterfall and a mountain just during our engagement shoot. The wedding photos are also incredible. Somehow- some of them look like paintings. During the day- they very efficiently and timely directed large groups of people like our family and wedding party. Also! They get you your photos in rapid speed. They work so, so very hard at what they do. I have the upmost respect for them and feel so lucky that I had the best photographers out there.
