Caitlin did such an amazing job at making us feel comfortable and making the photo taking process enjoyable. She and her husband are great at giving direction and making sure we captured all the big and small moments. The photos turned out better than I could've ever hoped! I would highly recommend them for a wedding or any event. -

We were traveling from out of town for an anniversary celebration and needed a photographer for an evening gathering. I contacted over 5 local photographers- Caitlin's response time, professionalism, pricing, flexibility, and actual interest in us made it an easy decision. We couldn't be happier with her work. She paid extra attention to make sure we got all of the perfect posed shots with all the combinations of people at the right times and the picture quality is great. That is to be expected. The reason we gave 5 stars across the board and would highly recommend is because of her talent of capturing the emotion. She captured facial expressions and body language that took you right back into the moment. Her ability to photograph the true candidness of the evening is priceless and we are so grateful. -

Caitlin and her husband Alex were an absolute joy to work with. From our first call getting to know her, she was so warm and friendly, and she took time to really get to know us and our love story. Once we booked her, she was always SO responsive to all our questions and very organized when it came to planning the logistics of both our engagement shoot and wedding day.
For both our engagement shoot and wedding day, Caitlin brought so much fun energy. We felt so at ease with her - the day was fun and natural. She gave great tips and guidance to make sure we looked out best. We couldn't be happier with the photos we received back. Caitlin and Alex really captured all the happy emotions from our day and had the perfect balance of portraits and candids. She also captured different skin tones so well, which was very important for us.
TLDR - Caitlin and Alex are fun, warm, and extremely talented professionals. 10000000% recommend working with them! -

From the moment we first reached out to Caitlin, we knew we were in great hands. She was warm, professional, incredibly responsive, and brought a great sense of humor. Throughout the entire process—from our first emails to the big day—Caitlin went above and beyond in every possible way.
My husband hates taking photos, but Caitlin worked her magic and made him feel completely comfortable, to the point where he actually enjoyed the experience! She has a gift for making people feel natural in front of the camera, and it shows in every single photo.
Our engagement shoot with Caitlin was such a fun and memorable day. She scouted out multiple beautiful locations in Napa ahead of time, and the results were nothing short of stunning. We ended up using the photos for both our save the dates and our wedding guestbook because we loved them that much.
On the wedding day itself, Caitlin was a total rockstar—keeping us on schedule without ever making us feel rushed. She helped adjust course with the schedule as needed and made the whole process as seamless as possible. Her husband, Alex, was fantastic as well! She brought so much positivity and joy to the day and somehow made every moment feel effortless and fun.
After the wedding, we were blown away to receive teaser photos within days! It was such a joyful surprise to relive those moments so soon, and they were absolutely gorgeous. They're warm, bright, and beautifully capture all the love and emotion of the day. We've already received so many compliments from friends and family who can’t stop raving about how amazing the photos are—and how amazing we look in them!
I truly can’t recommend Caitlin highly enough. She's more than just a photographer—she's a calming presence, a creative eye, and someone who genuinely cares about her couples. If you have the chance to work with her, do it! You will be so, so glad you did. Without a doubt, choosing her as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions I made throughout the entire wedding planning process. -

We absolutely loved working with Caitlin! She is so caring and fun to be around - plus, her & her husband Alex (second shooter) were able to make us feel so comfortable behind the lens by asking us questions and making us laugh. Caitlin has a true talent for capturing light and love; the photos look authentic, natural and not overly edited. We couldn't be happier with our photos and are so glad that we will have them to reminisce on for the rest of our lives. Thank you, Caitlin! -

Working with Caitlin was an absolute joy! She's a true professional, and I can't recommend her enough. My husband and I were initially nervous about engagement photos and had a tight schedule, but Caitlin made everything from the engagement session to our wedding day effortless and enjoyable. Her organization, friendly demeanor, and ability to make us feel at ease resulted in stunning photos that truly reflect our personalities. Caitlin is absolutely amazing at what she does! She was so attentive to us throughout the entire planning process and really got to know us as a couple which made us feel so comfortable with her. Our wedding day had a few hiccups due to rainy weather but Caitlin was so positive and flexible and amazing at coming up with alternative locations on the property to shoot our photos. She has a very calming yet fun presence and helped every person feel comfortable in front of the camera. We made the best decision in working with her and could not say enough about how wonderful of an experience it was. Our photos are truly so special to us and she captured us, our families and friends so perfectly. Everyone we have showed our photos to is just as in love as we are with them! -

Amazing to work with! Highly recommend
Caitlin and Alex were amazing to work with and we are so grateful they captured our special day! Caitlin came recommended by our venue and her photography is stunning. They are both so much fun to work with and we highly recommend!!
The Process: We had an initial call to get to know each other and she walked me through her packages. From the call, we could already tell she would be so pleasant to work with. Leading up to the wedding day, Caitlin sent us a detailed questionnaire, she checked in on us and hopped on a call with us and our planner to walk through the timeline and details. She was always great at communication and got back to us quickly.
The Products: Caitlin offers several packages and after looking at Caitlin’s work, we decided to go with the total collection that includes the 12x12 album and matching parent albums. Even her packages are very thoughtful! The package included a guestbook album and engagement session that we didn’t need and she was also very flexible in switching those elements out for other services. One week after the wedding, Caitlin sent over teasers! She was so fast and the photographs are amazing. We can’t wait to get the rest of our photos and our albums.
The People:
Caitlin was so professional and so prepared, bringing in her own props and helping us stay on schedule. Both her and Alex also provided such great advice and support throughout the day. Alex even helped the groomsmen with their bow ties! Caitlin has a way of making everyone relaxed and having fun in front of the camera. Being photographed by them was so much fun and like hanging out with friends!
Caitlin and Alex are truly wonderful. We plan to work with Caitlin again for our next photo opportunities and we highly recommend for anyone looking! -

We would hire Caitlin a fourth time!
Caitlin and her husband Alex are absolutely amazing! She is very easy to get along with, communicative, knowledgeable, flexible, and professional. We had our engagement shoot with Caitlin and Alex in February 2020. They made us instantly comfortable and we had a blast. Caitlin was extremely flexible and supportive during all the COVID craziness. We had no hesitation hiring them for our 2020 elopement and it was like seeing old friends. Caitlin and Alex do a great job of creating a calm yet fun environment, allowing two slightly camera shy people to feel relaxed. We hired them a third time for our rescheduled wedding celebration October 2021. Not only are they sweet, kind, and professional, but they think of everything! Caitlin brought a beautiful hanger for my dress, a ring box that matched my color palette, and Alex even helped the guys with their boutonnieres and wrangled them when they got a bit too silly in photos :) They are able to manage the timeline and several people efficiently as well as in a kind way. Our bridal party repeatedly told us how much they enjoyed photographing with them. I can't say enough good things about them! While we haven't received our wedding photos yet, our teasers are stunning and we can't wait to see the rest. My husband and I highly recommend Caitlin O'Reilly Photography! -

Caitlin was the second shooter at my wedding in 2017, which was moved at the last minute due to wildfires. I remember how calm and kind she was despite the chaos. With that in mind, I reached out to her for family portraits with my one year old little boy. Despite a very fussy and uncooperative baby, she managed to capture absolutely lovely pictures in our home that we will cherish. Again, she was so kind and calm in pure chaos and put us at ease. It was a pleasure to work with her. -

We loved Caitlin as soon as we spoke with her and already felt like she was a friend by the time we first met her in person. Our engagement photo session was postponed a few times due to the pandemic but she was monitoring area closures and once we finally got to do our photo shoot we had such a wonderful time. She is down to Earth and has a sense of humor so she is able to capture amazing life photos! She does amazing black and white photography but her color photos are so warm and have a lovely glowing hue. You can't help but smile when you see them. She is very professional and will work with you prior to your wedding day to be sure she will capture what is important to you and will devise a schedule so you know everything will be taken care of. The bonus is that her husband is her partner and they work so well together to capture various moments so that they're "two places at once." Neither of them felt invasive during our wedding. They are such fun people that it truly felt like they were guests who just happened to love taking photos! Caitlin will help you with every step of the way and will continue to help you once your wedding day is over and she definitely goes above and beyond! -

I am so happy that I went with Caitlin O'Reilly as my wedding photographer. I hired Caitlin for both our Rehearsal Dinner and our Wedding day, and she captured our vision so beautifully and perfectly. She was incredibly communicative from the initial planning through our wedding day to make sure we were getting the shots and style that we wanted. Both Caitlin and her husband, Alex, were so cool, calm and collected during our wedding that we were able to stay just as even-keeled. Our highest priority was to capture our fun-loving energy and really make our personalities shine, and she did it perfectly. We have so many amazing photos to choose from that my only problem is having to pick out our favorites. When we reflect back on our wedding, the two people who "made" our wedding were Caitlin and Alex. They weren't just vendors; they became our friends and partners in making sure our wedding was a dream come true. We are so thankful for all of the hard work, creativity, and thought that Caitlin and Alex put into capturing our wedding day.
From the moment you talk to Caitlin, she is warm, professional, and genuinely interested in getting to know you! This is just one of the things that makes Caitlin so wonderful - she is truly invested in capturing your wedding day, the couple's personality, and your family and friends' joy! Caitlin made the pre-wedding photography planning process easy. She was always able to chat through ideas and "must-haves" for wedding photography.
Caitlin and Alex went above and beyond by visiting our wedding locations (a church and garden for our reception) before our wedding so that they knew exactly what they were capturing. Their dedication and thoughtfulness blew us away!
During our wedding, Caitlin and Alex made the wedding day fun and ensured that we didn't worry about a thing. They were so kind to our family, friends, and other vendors. Caitlin and Alex seamlessly transitioned from multiple locations throughout the day, capturing each one perfectly. They understood our wishes to "blend in" during the church ceremony. Our guests remarked that they didn't even notice Caitlin and Alex in the church!
Caitlin's kindness and thoughtfulness does not end after your wedding. When we got our STUNNING wedding photos (2,000 photos; they capture everything perfectly!!) back, Caitlin sent us thoughtful gifts that reminded us of our wedding day! We will be looking at and sharing the photos for years to come.

Caitlin and her husband, Alex, are phenomenal photographers. Our wedding photos were everything we wished for and more. Caitlin was one of the first vendors we booked when we decided to have an intimate destination wedding in Napa. We couldn't be happier that we chose Caitlin as our wedding photographer. She was a consummate professional from beginning to end and the results were stunning. She was super responsive to our questions, even reviewed multiple outfit options for our engagement session and provided suggestions for what she thought would photograph well. The day of our engagement shoot was super windy and she was a trooper, keeping the mood light and fun even when I was freezing cold and shivering. On our wedding day, Caitlin and her husband Alex captured beautiful moments that we will treasure forever. Caitlin handled my intrusive uncles who followed us around during our wedding party photos without batting an eye and maintained her professional composure throughout. We didn't originally commit to having her design a wedding album for us but after seeing our photos, we're ordering an album for us and clone albums for our parents. We can't wait to see the final product! -

Our Favorite Vendor
From the moment of researching wedding photographers to waiting for our albums, Caitlin has by far been our favorite and easiest vendor to work with. It almost feels wrong to call her a "vendor" since she truly became someone that we trusted, enjoyed speaking with, and enjoyed sharing our wedding day with. Her attention to detail is unlike any other and her work shows it. When initially booking Caitlin, we did not purchase her printed albums but after seeing how great all of our photos came out (not to mention her insane fast turn around on her deliverables), we have purchased three from her and the process has been very easy... which says a lot coming from someone who is a control freak like me!
Caitlin is one of the sweetest people we've ever met and her sidekick husband follows suit. I'd get married all over again just to have her photograph it! -

Gabrielle Sent on 03/01/2018Five stars all around, period. We took our time looking at several photographers' portfolios, and there was such a special feel to Caitlin's work. We were completely drawn to her photos, and were so excited after our initial conversation with her. She really does her best to get to know you, and understand who you are as a couple. Our first meeting with her was in San Francisco, for our engagement shoot. We brought along our five month old puppy, and dog lover that she is, made sure he got included in the fun. It was such a fun adventure, and Caitlin's excitement over our shoot was so wonderful. We know she works with a lot of couples, and does a lot of shoots, but she was still putting her whole heart into ours, and that made us feel incredibly special. Needless to say, the engagement photos came out great. The big day was a few months later in July, and she and Alex took it up another notch. As corny as it sounds, they were like photography ninjas. They captures so many great moments, from the first look, to the cocktail hour, to the ceremony, and the dinner and reception after. We can't stop looking at our photos, and the wedding album she designed for us is something we'll cherish forever. We follow Caitlin on Instagram, because we truly feel like we bonded with her, and want to continue seeing her work, and stay connected with her. I have no doubt that if you work with her, you'll feel the same way. I can't recommend Caitlin enough. Thank you, Caitlin and Alex!

We were recommended Caitlin through another photographer in our area, & when we met her, we knew we had to hire her. Not only is her work amazing, but she is amazing to work with. She is friendly, fun, & makes you feel good about yourself when she is taking your photo. She was excellent at communicating with us & always answered all of our questions we would have. During our engagement photo session, my husband & I felt a little anxious at first, but Caitlin made us feel so comfortable within seconds of taking our photograph. She also let us be "us" together without feeling awkward about it. Our engagement photos are absolutely stunning, & Caitlin captured both our sweet & playful moments & made us just look so good in them!
On our wedding day, we had both Caitlin & her husband, Alex, as our photographers. These two are truly the best - not only did they do their job so well of taking our photos, but they kept us calm when we would get nervous, would laugh & joke with us when there were funny moments, & would even ask how we were doing throughout the day to make sure we were both good. They are personable, have a good sense of humor, & are so thoughtful. They truly helped make our wedding day so special.
One thing we also loved about Caitlin is that she got all of our photographs to us so quickly! We know she is very busy, but we were so impressed on how fast we got our photos back from her. And, our wedding photos: beautiful. Caitlin (& Alex) captured every single moment & caught every emotion of our wedding day. These two have a true eye for beauty & emotion. We are so pleased we can relive the day just by looking at these photos.
