  Maya Outdoor Autumn Wedding

  We arranged to have the Cafe String Trio perform for our daughter’s  November wedding and couldn’t have been more pleased. The selections for the ceremony were perfect and played beautifully. So many of our guests shared how much they enjoyed the music. Monique was a joy to work with during the months leading up to the wedding. Her prompt communications and thoughtful recommendations provided just the right complement for the wedding theme and venue. She was able to create a special song arrangement for the Reccessional, much to the delight of the wedding party and guests. Monique’s professional demeanor, warmth and artistry helped us stay focused on the beauty of the ceremony and ultimately, the music that made for an extraordinary experience.

  Beautiful Music

  I had the string trio for my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. They exceeded all expectations. Received so many compliments on the trio. They even accommodated a specific song I wanted to walk down the aisle to. It was a beautiful day and they pushed it over the top!

  Made our ceremony and cocktail hour!

  Cafe String Quartet did an excellent job and I’m so happy we worked with them! Monique was communicative and quick to respond, all of my questions were answered, and I loved that I was able to even request a song for our ceremony.

  Highly Recommend Cafe String Quartet

  The Cafe String Quartet was a highlight of our wedding ceremony and reception! Monique helped us pick out all the music selections and made adjustments until we were completely happy with every aspect. She even made sure each selection was the right length to fit with the planned ceremony. When the wedding day arrived, I (as mother-of-the-bride) didn't have to worry about anything concerning the music, because the Cafe String Quartet had it all under control. The quartet arrived on time (or early), was dressed very professionally, and efficiently set-up for the outdoor ceremony on what had to be the hottest day of the year. The guests were melting from the heat, but the quartet played beautifully and added such elegance to the ceremony! At the cocktail hour, the quartet played a wide selection of popular music. The bride had pre-selected all the songs for this, including her favorites by Elvis and the Beatles. The quartet music was one of the highlights of the wedding, and I would definitely recommend the Cafe String Quartet!

  The Cafe String Quartet were superb! The group were extremely professional and played wonderfully. Their presence during the ceremony was unobtrusive and understated, though the music was pervasive - difficult in an outdoor setting, but they provided a most excellent accompaniment to the service. We could not have been more pleased, and would gladly engage them for any ceremony.

From initially contacting them to their flexibility and ease to work with the entire experience was easy. From what we heard them play it sounded great! Unfortunately as the bride and the groom you miss a lot during the prelude. However, many of our guest comment to us after how much they enjoyed listening to them with the Blue Ridge Mountains as a back drop. Highly recommend!

  The Cafe String Quartet was exactly what we wanted for our ceremony. Our musical requests were a bit nontraditional but they were happy and willing to do exactly what we asked, and so easy to work with. All four are very talented musicians, we have received lots of compliments from guests about the quality and selection of the music prior to and during the ceremony. I walked down to Etta James "At Last," and the bridal party walked out to the Beatles "All You Need is Love", and both were perfect renditions. My only regret is not being able to listen a little longer since I was the last to walk in! Thank you, Cafe String Quartet!!
