Amazing Experience at Houston Museum of Natural Science

We had previously heard good things about Cafe Natalie, and we were relieved to hear that they were an approved vendor at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, because they ultimately made our wedding day unforgettable.

From our first contact and even after our wedding day, Cafe Natalie was incredibly responsive to our message and were able to accommodate many of our special requests. To top it off, they were always friendly and considerate.

But most importantly, the food was absolutely incredible! We opted for the Vietnamese menu and were hooked from the first bite of our tasting. It only got better from there, as every dish they served was a hit. It was a tough call for us to narrow down our options, but they helped guide us through the choices to craft a menu that our guests would enjoy. And that they did. All of our guests were raving about the food, to the point that it was one of the more common messages in our guest book!

Incredible, high quality wedding catering

Hands down the absolute best food & team to work with! There are many choices when it comes to catering- I personally looked into two others. When it came down to it, it was very clear that Cafe Natalie was the go-to. They were highly recommended to me by my wedding venue and had rave reviews. I am so glad that we chose to work with them. They were extremely professional and proficient with communication. I had many questions, adjustments, and overwhelming moments throughout the planning process. Cafe Natalie made it seamless and was so responsive. The tasting was absolutely amazing and they brought out more food than we had even chosen. ALL of the options were absolutely delicious. They have a very wide variety of food choices, themes, and hors d'oeuvres. We went with the dual entree and are so glad we did! Our guests RAVED about the hors d’oeuvres and their dinner. We are incredibly grateful for our experience with the Cafe Natalie Team!

Fantastic Food & Service

I can't express enough how amazing your food is! We kept telling people about it after our tasting & they never quite believed us. But, after dinner, so many people came up to us to say, "You were right about the food! So delicious!!" Honestly, the only complaint Coral & I had was that our stomachs weren't bigger so we could have more of it! Thank you for the incredibly delicious meal, for taking care of cutting up the cakes, setting up all the seating just the way we wanted, & attending to all of our guests!

Great food

We got so many compliments on our food and apps for our wedding. They were really yummy and truly amazing!!!! Very professional staff. They do very large events at museums and galas and it showed. They prep the food in their kitchen and then cook it at the venue. Would highly recommend.

Best food I've ever had

Cafe Natalie did an amazing job at our wedding. Not only was their staff friendly and efficient, the food they served was phenomenal. The only regret we had was that our stomachs were not big enough to enjoy more of it. Not only did they provide the food, they also provided our tables, chairs, linens, drinks, and cake cutting service, so we really got what we paid for with them. It's just rather unfortunate this place is not a restaurant as well as a catering company, we would definitely be visiting often. I know if we ever host any other event in the future, we will definitely be calling them again.

Exceptional Service from Cafe Natalie

I was impressed with the quality, level of service and professionalism of Cafe Natalie. From our formal tasting to the wedding day, the Cafe Natalie staff was professional and responsive. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The staff at the wedding went above and beyond to make my daughter's wedding day perfect. They helped us plan table settings, prepared excellent meals including an outstanding vegetarian dish and helped us to box up our leftover wedding cake. I would definitely hire them again for a wedding or other event.

Amazing service

The food was delicious, we got a lot of compliments from our wedding guest.. everyone was happy and enjoyed in the reception. When I was looking for a caterer, Cafe Natalie was the only one who respond so quickly and answered my inquiries. They were easy to work with, always prompt to reply on any questions I have. The admin down to the waiters and bartenders were very nice and professional..they even gave us a thank you card with all the staff signing on it..they are very personable and I appreciate it. The service was superb!! And I highly recommend them!! 😊

The food was delicious

I can not say enough good things about Cafe Natalie. We ate so many yummy things at our tasting it was hard to decide but the team made some wonderful station recommendations. The Bao station was raved about by our guests and the beef tender was cooked to perfection. The staff was also exceptional. I would highly recommend them for any occasion.

From my initial contact Cafe Natalie was professional with attention to details. The food was spectacular. My guest continue to tell us how amazing the food was! Also, I chose to do a sit down meal for my reception and they did European service! Presentation, and service was the best I have ever seen at a wedding reception. My Wife and I loved Cafe Natalie as our caterer. Wedding night went flawlessly. We received numerous compliments all night and afterwards on how amazing the food and the staff were.

The food tasted exactly as good as it did during our tasting. My mouth still waters thinking of that meal today! The whole experience in making our selections was awesome. Very clean location and dining room. It was really hard to narrow down our meal since everything tasted so good!

They are such pros, there were a few last minute changes to meals and they adapted accordingly. Very easy to communicate and plan out the seating plan with them.
All communication was answered promptly, working with them was a dream.

Isabella was our sales rep and event manager and we selected a seated plated menu with cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres and charcuterie board (the spread was amazing!)

Best Caterer in town! Now we have to think of another event to have so we can taste their food again!

World class service

The Cafe Natalie Team was so amazing. We seriously cannot sing their praises enough. Every vendor we met with always said "Yes! You booked Cafe Natalie!" so we were already going in with high expectations, but, even then, they surpassed all of them. We so appreciated all of the small touches. The servers always stopped by the getting ready room first and Diana brought us all of the hors d'oeuvres too to ensure my husband and I got to try them all. The to-go meals were amazing the next day and the thank you card was so thoughtful. The dinner service was absolutely perfect - many restaurants should aspire to it. The bartenders made sure we were never wanting, which is not an easy task given how much we drink! We just cannot say enough good things. The whole night went perfect and we know how much goes into making that happen. Thank you thank you Cafe Natalie for a night we'll never forget!

Delicious!!

Keep the drinks flowing

Amazing food

Cafe Natalie catered our wedding at Beckendorff Farms. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS to say the least. They were extremely adaptive, so organized, and very very professional. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of our guests was blown away by the food. We served sirloin, shrimp, mushroom risotto, and chili brussel sprouts and not a single complaint. We were told that it was the best wedding food they have ever had over and over. We are so impressed and happy we went with Cafe Natalie. We even had a FULL to go bag with everything from dinner to cake to take with us that night. We are so happy we were able to not have to worry about a thing on the day and that we were able to wow our guests. They went above and beyond by even allowing us to use my own family's shrimp for our food and we received so many compliments on the shrimp, you wouldn't believe. Catering for your wedding can get expensive, but it was honestly worth it. Thank you again to the Cafe Natalie team!

Stop looking. You just found the gold mine of wedding food.

Food was the one thing I didn't want to compromise on. I have been to so many weddings and the food was always "ok". Cafe Natalie blew us out of the water. One of the sweetest moments I remember was having 15 min alone with my husband eating Cafe Natalie. It was so so so so so so good! My mouth is literally watering thinking about the steak and potatoes!

Omg. The best!

STOP! And read this review because you just found YOUR caterer. From beginning to end, our experience with Cafe Natalie and their team was BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL. They are an in-house vendor at our venue, Madera Estates, so they know the venue like the back of their hand and work MAGICALLY with their team. Chris, Sam, Diana, Peter, Adela, and the entire Cafe Natalie team were accommodating, responsive, and professional.

At our tasting, we were BLOWN AWAY, not only by their presentation and DELICIOUS FOOD, but by how they ran with our Spanish-inspired theme! They nailed it!

Now for the wedding...it’s been five weeks since my husband and I got married, and my guests are STILL talking about the food! It’s hard to pick my favorite dish, but here are a few: the Beef Tenderloin Carving Station, Brussel Sprouts, Mexican Street Corn, and OH. MY. GOD. The Churros Bar!! I’m DROOLING remembering it just now.

Cafe Natalie was fantastic to work with! They traveled to our family ranch and built a kitchen to suit our event. We served a fantastic family style meal that people absolutely loved! Even all of the vegetarians complimented how tasted their meals were. The catering manager was efficient and organized throughout the entire event. He made sure tables were bussed, food was brought out, food was taken away, etc. seamlessly! You would have never known this was their first time catering at our property! They did a fantastic job.

The Most Delicious Food in Houston

When you choose Beckendorff Farms, they give you a list of caterers to choose from. I am SO happy we went with Cafe Natalie! We had the intense task of narrowing down their expansive menu to just a few things to taste. The tasting was the most delicious, difficult thing we did! I thought they were going to have to wheel me out of there that day and I was so glad I wore leggings.. My husband doesn’t eat salad- and y’all- HE ATE THE SALAD. That says everything you need to know. Somehow we narrowed down our choices. The food was AMAZING, and they were very accommodating for dietary restrictions-- I have one family member with Celiac Disease (no gluten) and I am also a gluten-free vegetarian.

Excellent food, fantastic service

Cafe Natalie catered my daughter's wedding at the HMNS in November and we couldn't have been more pleased! The food was spectacular - even better than we remembered from the tasting - and so beautifully presented. The table settings were gorgeous. The service was impeccable and the staff were very attentive to each guest's requests and needs. Our friends are still talking about it! Diana was wonderful to work with and made sure that all vendors had what they needed to ensure that the event went smoothly. I can't imagine a more spectacular meal for our friends and family on such a special occasion. It's rare when there are no regrets with an occasion such as this, but I truly can't think of a thing we would have done differently. Cafe Natalie makes for happy memories!

Worth every penny! True professionals! My guests still talk about the amazing food we had at our wedding in Oct. 2017. Beyond fabulous

Café Natalie exceeded our expectations for our daughter's wedding! Everything they provided our family was off the charts excellent! Their professionalism throughout the whole process made our day easy and beautiful. Every staff member worked very hard to make sure we were well taken care of and ensured we enjoyed our day. We decided to have Family Style service to promote fellowship at dinner (which was the first time I had ever seen this type of presentation) The food was perfect, hot, and amazing. Guests made a point to come up to me to say that the food was delicious, the tables were beautiful and service was impeccable! Great Food and Service!

Cafe Natalie did an excellent job on the food and service for my wedding at Moffitt Oaks. The food was more delicious than I remember at our tasting. I still can’t believe that Cafe Natalie could produce such exceptional food on site.
Their wait staff and service was as impressive as their food. Their waiters were attentive and knew when our families joined the cocktail hour after photos – bringing them hors d’oeuvres. They even had waiters bring us hors d’oeuvres during our photos. I was amazed at how well their staff moved throughout the wedding attending to their tasks without disruption. The tables somehow got cleared but I don’t remember seeing the staff.
Our main waiter (Alex) took care of us for the entire wedding. He was always willing to grab us a drink or some water. It was wonderful knowing that our guests were as well taken care of as us and being feed scrumptious food. I couldn’t have asked for a more helpful, professional, quality caterer for our wedding.

Happy Bellies, Happier Hearts!

We had Cafe Natalie cater our wedding and they exceeded all expectations! We opted for stations (carving station, street tacos, and french fry bar). The carving station and street tacos both get an A+ but the star of the night was definitely the french fry bar. Our guests are still raving about them! We also changed our minds about various details/food items throughout the planning process, and the team was super patient and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend for your next event!!

Excellent!! 10/10! Highly recommend!

Cafe Natalie went above and beyond to make sure my wedding was perfect. The food was excellent, and I had several guests tell me it was the best wedding food they've ever had. All of the staff members were extremely professional. The event supervisor was outstanding and thought of everything. I couldn't be happier or say enough good things about them! It was expensive (we choose the top teir entrees: duck confit and beef tenderloin and had open bar), but you get what you pay for!

Positive Experience

Cafe Natalie did a fabulous job with my daughter's wedding. They provided both the food and the bar service. The food was great and the service was outstanding. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. I had MULTIPLE email exchanges regarding dietary restrictions, changes and questions. Every email was answered in a timely and patient manner. Would absolutely recommend and use again.

Amazing food!

We had the chicken, steak, mac and cheese, and green beans for dinner. It was amazing! They were so fantastic at serving us and making sure we were taken care of as well as all our guests. We received so many compliments on all the food and working with Cafe Natalie was incredibly easy. The service was great all night. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to cater their event or wedding!

Food is incredible

Café Natalie was the caterer for our wedding last month and the entire experience from start to finish was incredible. We had several stations and everyone raved about how delicious the food was. Delicious and Easy to Work With!

We selected Café Natalie to do the catering/tables/chairs from a list of vendors that our venue (Houston Museum of Natural Science) had vetted. They were the most responsive to our emails, had a wide selection of food to choose from, and were the best value (in our opinion) of the vendors on the venue’s list. Compared to a wider range of caterers, they would have likely been higher than the median. Prior to the reception, we found them to be responsive, accommodating multiple changes, questions, and an additional tasting session to make a change to the menu. Even using their buffet option, they were able to accommodate a variety of dietary needs. At the reception, the food was delicious and got multiple compliments from our guests that day and in the weeks that followed. They had experience coordinating with the museum and set up the floor plan/placed the tables exactly how we had asked. There were two instances where we were especially impressed: They prepared two plates for us without us asking so that we could eat as others were waiting for the buffet, otherwise we likely wouldn’t have had time to eat. In addition, we did not get to try the appetizers we had selected for the reception since we completely missed cocktail hour. As a surprise, the mother of the bride called Café Natalie to see if she could secure some for us after we came back from our honeymoon. Café Natalie not only provided these free of charge, but also delivered them to her home which was close by. We are very impressed and satisfied with their service and food, and recommend them for others.

TLDR: We selected Café Natalie for our reception from a list of vendors that our venue (Houston Museum of Natural Science) had vetted. They were responsive, delicious, did good service the day of our reception, and a great value compared to the other vendors from our venue’s list.

Exceeds Expectations!`

Wow get so many compliments on our food choices! Café Natalie really helps you put together a great meal. substitutions were no problem for them and we were able to create a meal that celebrated both our backgrounds seamlessly. Their food is not only flavorfully delicious, it was well plated! Many plates polished clean off and saw people getting up for seconds! They are the best!

We're Vietnamese, and all or most Vietnamese have their weddings in a ballroom at a place called Kim Son. That was never our dream and we made sure to break away from that idea lol Thing is, Vietnamese weddings are also 6-7+ course meals that are sit-down, family style served dinners which seemed to be only found at Kim Son.
CAFÉ NATALIE
We had our reception at Balmorhea Weddings and Events but we still wanted that traditional style asian food to get the best of both worlds, modern and traditional. Cafe Natalie did just that for us.
-Food tasting experience/client service:
First off, Cafe Natalie has such a wide variety of food that they cater. I was surprised that they even did Vietnamese family style courses. The food tasting is for four people. The tasting was easy to set up, and you literally come and eat. They serve the food to you exactly the way it will look on your wedding day or whatever event they are catering for. They even give you a cute little dessert packaged for you to take home and even offer you a wedding magazine to take home if you want. They are very easy to get in touch with and communicate with. They respond on a timely manner. They work really well with other vendors too.

-On the day of the wedding:
FANTASTIC! Honestly. This was a high pressure wedding. People were used to the idea of a lot of food at Kim Son. Cafe Natalie made it happen. They served 6 courses for us, and all the food was presented beautifully. We got compliments for pulling off a traditional, yet modernized American/Vietnamese wedding. I must say that the food was not as hot as we wanted it to be, but that might have been our fault because we were a little behind schedule and started dinner 30 minutes late.

Nonetheless, Choose Cafe Natalie! We loved them. They are kind, professional, honest people. They're staff was amazing and we wish we could have thanked every last one of them. WE LOVE YOU!

Cafe Natalie catered food and bar for our wedding at Moffitt Oaks. We wanted to have an Asian multicourse family style meal and Cafe Natalie came highly recommended by multiple venues. We were not disappointed! Chris was extremely receptive and answered our questions promptly during the planning process. They even created a special meal for our guests with unique dietary restrictions. On the wedding day, our food captain, Heather, and her team were so attentive and professional. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. So glad with we went with Cafe Natalie!

I got married a couple weeks ago and had such a stressful time planning... Cafe Natalie was the best part of our wedding. Not only did they offer any help, they were so responsive and accommodating to ALL of our needs!! We were communicating with Chris (who was always super fast getting back to us) and Diana (who was so sweet and amazing that we requested she be at the wedding -- then at the wedding she helped our wedding coordinator like she was the coordinator-- sooooooo thankful for that). They also brought a HUGE staff of the sweetest people ready to do anything they needed to do to make sure everything was perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK SO LETS GET TO THE FOOD NOW.... NEVER have I been to a wedding with such good food... I'm not even saying that because it was my own!! I got so many texts saying how nice the wedding was and HOW AMAZING THE FOOD WAS. Seriously, I think everyone was so impressed with the food that it was something they REMEMBER!!!! I can't even believe it!!!! We also used them for the full bar as well and I will just say THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!!

Cafe Natalie was a BIG hit at my daughter’s wedding!!! We received so many compliments on the food and everyone was so impressed with the quality and service. From the beginning they exceeded my expectations. They responded to phone calls and emails right away and were so thorough. They were diligent about getting things the way we wanted them to be at the wedding. When they got to the venue the team set things up exactly as we had planned. The tasting was a wonderful experience. We were able to choose a number of dishes before deciding on the final menu. The food was as wonderful at the wedding as it was at the tasting. Adele took care of everything at the wedding. She was so professional and accommodating. She made sure that the bride and groom were served promptly. She even made sure that my husband and I and the grandparents were taken care of without having to get up to go to the buffet. We rented some gold flatware from a vendor and I was responsible for it returning to them in a certain way. I mentioned it to Adele and she took care of it for me. They even made sure that young kids had chicken nuggets and Mac and cheese available. I am so grateful to Cafe Natalie for making the wedding even better than I imagined. They blew everyone away with their professionalism, their excellent food, and flawless service. I will recommend them to everyone and hope to have an opportunity to use them again myself. We received so many compliments from guests about the “amazing dinner”...some saying it was the “best catered meal” they have ever had! Café Natalie was one of the highlights of our wedding day! Everyone so far has raved about the meal served by Chris and his team. We opted for the Classic Buffet package, which included Staff-Attended Buffet Service, One (1) Butler Passed Hors d’Oeuvres, Choice of Soup or Salad, Two (2) Classic Entrees, and Two (2) Dinner Sides. We selected 14 items on their menu to try during our tasting appointment. We were allowed to bring along four guests and had to arrive ten minutes prior to our appointment. We settled on Pulled pork tostadas for our passed Hors d’Oeuvres, Lobster Bisque for our soup selection, Beef au Poivre and Chicken Parmigiano for our entrees, and baked three cheese macaroni and sautéed vegetable medley for our side items. We also requested a few vegetarian plates and kid’s meals. Everything was so delicious; we couldn’t have imagined any other catering company coming close to the quality of food Café Natalie serves. Do yourself a favor and splurge on Café Natalie Catering, I am sure glad we did!

The food Cafe Natalie catered for our wedding 4/15/17 at The Gallery was top notch. We had prime rib and chicken Natalie as main dishes and green beans and roasted potatoes as sides. All of the food was fantastic but the prime rib was to die for. They also provided our bar services. Incredibly easy to work with. Our guests raved about the food and alcohol services. 100% recommend!

Choosing a caterer was one of the more stressful decisions throughout the wedding planning process, likely because it's such a large portion of the budget, and of course I wanted the food to be wonderful. My experience with Café Natalie truly could not have been better.

I reached out to Chris initially, who responded to me within 12 hours. From that point on, every email from him was just as quick - not to mention detailed and helpful. I had by FAR the most questions for him than I did with any of my other vendors, and he handled each and every one with so much professionalism, patience and understanding.

We initially signed a contract with Café Natalie for a seated dinner, but throughout the planning process we also added on bartenders/bar set up (our venue is BYOB) as well as wine stewards. As such, they were heavily involved in the mechanics of our evening. I felt so comfortable and confident going into the big day for a number of reasons: Chris had been wonderful, our tasting was to die for (they give you so. much. food. and it is all so delicious), and I had several other rave testimonies from other brides. With that said, I was STILL completely blown away at every turn throughout our reception. The professionalism of the staff was truly something to marvel, from the sequential serving of the food to the speedy & knowledgeable bartenders and everything in between. The food was of course exceptional, and the presentation was absolutely gorgeous. I had been nervous about the length of a seated meal and I now realize I shouldn't have wasted a second worrying about that - everything moved quickly and efficiently. I had so many guests comment to me not only on the quality of the food but also on how wonderful the staff was.

Thank you, Chris, and your amazing team for making our special day so perfect. It would not have been what it was without you. I would absolutely hire Café Natalie again and cannot recommend them enough.

Wonderful. Exceptional. The venue for the reception offered a beautiful space, but that is it. Cafe Natalie jumped in with an amazing buffet and bar service, on top of all the rentals we needed. They paid attention to every detail, including table pads, linens, china and glassware. They had a very short move-in and move-out time, and they very professionally created a stunning ballroom. Everyone of their people cared about our guests and was crazy accommodating. Their planning was meticulous; in fact, since we didn't care to have a cocktail/appetizer hour, they suggested that we replace that with late-night sliders after dinner. How fun is that?! They worked with the other vendors, and as a result, we had a beautiful reception. Any question we had was answered promptly, and we felt confident that they were beyond capable of handling our most important occasion. So because we enjoyed great food and impeccable service that was reasonably priced, we would highly recommend Cafe Natalie to take care of any event!

I cannot fully express how thankful I am for Cafe Natalie. We were married June 2017 and used them for BOTH catering and bar services. I was told for multiple guests on both sides that this was the best food that they have ever eaten at a wedding. Through the year of planning they answered every one of my questions and emails (I was planning a wedding long-distance).

Their tasting was absolutely delicious with a WIDE variety of dishes. Their waitstaff was attentive and so accommodating to all of my guests. They were even flexible to change some of the wine and liquor selection to make it more personal to us. Another refreshing surprise was that at the end of the night, they packed us a "doggie bag of leftovers" to take back to the hotel.

These guys are definitely pros in their industry and there is a clear reason why they are ranked 5/5 stars time and time again.

Hands down the most delicious and unique taste to food. The communication with Cafe Natalie was hands down the best. I had a million questions and changed my options more than a few times. Chris was very attentive and helped me every single time. Every dish we tried at the tasting was amazing and choosing what to serve was very hard because of it. They give you so much along with the catering. We didn't have to worry about napkins, plates, china, etc. They even cut our cake for us. The way they set up the buffet was very nice as well. They brought their own decor to make it look elegant. There was plenty of food and the staff was very generous. Our guests still talk about how great the food was. I say Cafe Natalie all the way!

Café Natalie was some of the best food, not wedding food, but food I have ever had. When my fiancé and I asked my coordinator who we should use Café Natalie was her first and highest recommendation. We scheduled a consultation and a tasting via email and it was incredibly easy to find a time even with our busy schedules. Be prepared for tons of food at the tasting, we left soo full! It was really hard to narrow down a menu because everything was so delicious. On the day of the wedding we did a seated dinner and Café Natalie was very professional. I really appreciated that they brought out hors d'oeuvres to the wedding party during our pictures after the ceremony. The serving of our meal was just like a 5 star restaurant. The servers came up behind each guest at one table and they set down the plates all at the same time. It was so classy! I couldn't have been happier with our choice. I would recommend Café Natalie to any bride!

Chris and his staff were very welcoming, very detailed and exceeded our expectations well beyond. Chris always promptly responded to all questions that we had along the way. The tastings (ah!) were so delicious, and again, they answered all questions during the tastings that we had and knew how to address our concerns which in turn, they were able to suggest great alternatives when we couldn't decide on a specific dish. On the day of our wedding, everyone was punctual and ready. The food was delicious and the portions were hefty (just how we love it!). Our guests were super pleased with the service and food provided. Along with our other vendors, Café Natalie was an exceptional vendor to work with...I honestly cannot say enough great things about our experience with them. Cafe Natalie was one of the food vendors that our venue allowed without having to do a buy-out so I chose them based on convenience. However, we were very pleased with the food and the quality of service provided. We had a fajita dinner which was very tasty. The buffet line ran smoothly and I was impressed that one of their employees brought food to my husband and me and made sure we were able to eat. We also used Cafe Natalie for alcohol and selected their wine and beer package. We got several choices of each as well as champagne for the toast and everybody seemed pleased with their options. Overall I highly recommend this vendor. They were a bit on the expensive side, but easy to work with and the food and service were excellent.

If you want to provide excellent food and exceptional service to the guests at your wedding I recommend that you hire Cafe Natalie as your caterer! Cafe Natalie catered my daughter's wedding at Station 3 and our friends and family can't stop talking about how incredible the food and staff were during the event. Incredible value, incredibly professional staff, and delicious food. My husband and I are avid travelers, so Cafe Natalie designed food stations inspired by our favorite destinations (Singapore/Thailand, Mexico, and a "Southern Comfort" station with Texas favorites). Cafe Natalie really made our vision come to life, and it was more delicious than we even thought possible! Only complaint -- we managed to escape without our boxed food on our wedding night!!!

If you are looking for great service and great food, look no further. I have been to many weddings and the one thing that I fear is the food. I have had some no so great food, it taste like the food was sitting under a heat lamp. I know catering is not an easy job to pull off. Most of the time the food is cooked off site then delivered to the venue. I will say that both my wife and I loved the food. what little we could eat, lol...
It didn't tasted like it was dried out from a heat lamp. They timed it perfectly... We talked to our family and friends that attended our wedding and we got really great feedback about the food. Most if not all loved the food. We decided to also add appetizers, 3 varieties of wine and 3 different beers with our package and we did not break the bank. Café Natalie knew our budget and we were surprised the cost was even below our budget. Kudos to Café Natalie.

Cafe Natalie was beyond amazing! Their bar service, food and staff were everything I could of imagined! They took care of everything and everyone! The bartenders were fun and kept the crowd going but also kept everyone under control! Thank you so much to Cafe Natalie for an amazing night!

With so many of our wedding guests coming from places other than Texas we wanted to give them a menu that showed what Texas cuisine is all about with barbecue and some Tex-Mex. We looked at several options and then our planner recommended that we check out Cafe Natalie. We were a bit skeptical in the beginning that they could deliver what we wanted but you know that you have good barbecue when even the native Houstonians at the wedding are talking about how great everything was. Chris and his team are amazing and delivered in every way. They worked with us to develop a menu that really made us happy and even included an avocado bar which was super unique. We know that if we ever have another event, they will be catering it for us.

Cafe Natalie was the right choice. The staff was very professional and the manager made sure my husband and I were always being taken care of.

All the guests commented on how amazing the food was especially the Mac n Cheese. The amount of food served was also plentiful for everyone.

10/10 would totally book again for anything I have to do. Fell in love with their mashed potatoes during the tasting and it was a done deal. Our venue uses them as their preferred vendor (and of course would charge outrageously if you didn't use them) and thankfully they were wonderful!

Cafe Natalie catered our wedding at Madera Estates a couple of weeks ago and they did an amazing job! Having good, hot food was one of our top priorities and they served just that. Our guests have raved about how delicious it all was and my husband and I have to agree! So good!! :)

Cafe Natalie was an easy choice and a great choice! We were so happy with the service and the quality of the food! We got some many compliments from our guests about how delicious it all was! I especially loved the mini beef wellington! Could not have picked a better caterer! Thanks again you all!

Chris and everyone I interacted with at Cafe Natalie were so easy to work with, even as I planned my Houston wedding from Iowa. They were very responsive to emails. They were very flexible on our tasting date to align with a trip into town. All the food was so delicious, it was hard to narrow down. Cafe Natalie also helped us provide special meals to our guests with special requests such as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. The food was delicious and we got plenty of compliments on the meal. The staff day-of even went the extra mile and made sure that we (bride and groom) ate and got our to-go food. Can't say enough good things about this vendor and definitely recommend them!

From the Open house we attended at a wedding showcase to the private tasting and selection of food and beverages to the actual night of the wedding, everything and everyone was a FIRST CLASS act. Chris who answered ALL of my emails promptly and precisely, Peter who hosted the tasting and was very knowledgeable in first listening to our desires and then presenting the food and offering suggestions, and Oscar who was my focal contact the night of the wedding who not only oversaw the food and drinks but also helped to find the wedding coordinator when I was busy with guests. The exceptional service we received PRIOR to the wedding was the same exceptional service we were extended the night of the wedding. One of our guests is a chef by trade and he made it a point to seek us out and compliment the food presentation and taste which I then passed along to Café Natalie -- what higher honor is there than to be complimented by a fellow chef. Our hats off to Café Natalie's staff!!!!

AWESOME! First let me say that we had a hard time selecting food for our wedding b/c everyting that we sampled was delightful. Needless to say to did not make the wrong selection. Everyone including us loved the items we selected for our wedding. We kept it tradtional(beef, veggie, potato, salad) but it was awesome. Even 4 months later we are still hearing comments from family and friends that the dinner was great!

Once my daughter and I booked Chris and Cafe Natalie for her October 31st wedding, I breathed a huge sigh of relief. Chris and Cafe Natalie are experienced caterers in Houston, so I had no worries about their dependability and reliability. Also, Chris was able to do a bit more than just catering, such as picking up and returning linens, and providing dishware for me, which was a huge relief as I needed all the help and advice (and savings) I could get. Chris was great at communication, too, and if I had a question, he was very quick to get back with me, another huge plus.

Of course, the most important thing provided by Cafe Natalie was the food and it was absolutely outstanding. I received many compliments on the food after the reception, and several guests even preferred the reception food to the rehearsal dinner food the night before, which was at Brennan's. Very high praise indeed! There was plenty of staff at the reception, and Adela did a great job taking care of our needs during the event. Cafe Natalie also folded the napkins we had rented to match our tablecloths, and provided the cake cutting - both at no additional charge (these are big savings, guys!). I have to say, booking Cafe Natalie gave me a huge sense of peace as I was able to relax about the event in general. If your food is good, your event is WAY ahead of the game. I whole-heartedly recommend Chris and Cafe Natalie for your wedding reception or other event!

So happy we went with Cafe Natalie as our caterer. Chris Nguyen and team worked with us every step of the way. We had a very tight budget and they provided an incredible spread for our guests. Adela was very attentive the entire night. She made sure my wife and I always had a cold drink in our hand. A first class organization all the way through.

Cafe Natalie is absolutely one of the best caterers in Houston! They were so nice and accommodating to me and my husband as we were planning our wedding (7/24/15). We changed our menu several times, and they worked with us to finalize everything and make sure it was perfect. It was an absolute pleasure working with Chris Nguyen. He was very professional, he responded to all of my emails in a timely manner, and he was very patient with me and all of my requests. The staff were delightful! They were very attentive to our guests' needs and the bartenders kept everyone entertained. The food was amazing! Most people complain that they don't like wedding food, but this was not the case for my wedding. Our guests raved about how good the food was! I even have friends with upcoming weddings that have now decided to use Chris and his team's services. I could not have asked for better service; they truly went above and beyond to make me a happy bride! I will definitely use Cafe Natalie for future catering services.

Cafe Natalie was one of several vendor choices we had for catering at our wedding venue. We were thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and friendly staff when we did our tasting. We had passed appetizers before the reception which were a great hit. They did a fantastic job on our food and it all turned out delicious. They have a lot of options and price ranges to choose from.

Cafe Natalie provided our catering services for our wedding on May 30, 2015. From the first consultation through the execution of the event, they provided top notch service. The main contact we interacted with at Cafe Natalie was Chris Nguyen. He was always timely in his responses and was able to accommodate any request we had. The tasting provided us with every opportunity to try any dishes that we wanted in order to pick the right menu for our wedding. All of the food was delicious. It was even executed perfectly for the event. They provided us with extremely attentive service and even gave us to-go boxes to take home for a wedding night snack! All of the guests gave great reviews and we give Cafe Natalie an A+ recommendation.

Everything was AMAZING. I do not have a single complaint about Cafe Natalie. They are also sensitive to allergy issues and were able to make separate plates for those at our wedding who suffered from food allergies.

We absolutely loved working with Cafe Natalie! Chris Nguyen and his staff were incredibly professional, creative, passionate, and pleasant from start to finish. We still talk about our tasting and how impressed we were with all the options! Chris helped customize our menu so that we got everything we wanted and more (he suggested burgers and fries as a late night snack at the reception, which was a HUGE hit!). Our guests raved about the food -- some even said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding! When we had to relocate the reception at the very last minute due to rain, Chris and his staff were so flexible and accommodating -- they made the transition seem completely seamless. Cafe Natalie is an excellent caterer!

Cafe Natalie - Chris, Adela, the whole team from the onsite crew to the servers were great! Our wedding was a tough one - an Asian style 7 course meal and we were kind of nervous, but they definitely pulled it off. Our guests kept raving about how delicious the food was and we were kind of sad we weren't able to taste much of it because we were so busy! They work with you and your budget and keep you posted with emails/updates. They are pretty easy to reach via email/phone as well. Definitely highly recommended!! THANK YOU!

Cafe Natalie catered our wedding on 6/12/15. They were professional from the beginning of planning to executing excellent service on the day of the wedding. Chris Nguyen answered any questions we had during the planning and always had a pleasant demeanor in his responses. The food was delicious! We heard so many compliments from our guests regarding the food. During the wedding, Adela was very attentive to my husband and I. I hear a lot of people say that they didn't get to eat their food or cake from the wedding...that was not the case for us! She made sure we got to-go plates to take with us. The staff was friendly and attentive to the guests as well. Everything with this company was perfect! I would definitely recommend them to others.

Cafe Natalie was an amazing caterer. From the tasting to the night of the wedding, they were responsive, friendly, and addressed every single one of our concerns. On the night of the wedding, they made sure my husband and I got a plate and that our guests had the best experience possible. They went the extra mile to accommodate our requests, and always did so with a smile. Weeks after the wedding, wedding guests are still talking about how great the appetizers were-- the mini beef wellingtons and lobster pops were a huge hit! And my husband loved the sauces that came with the top sirloin. I was so impressed by both the staff's professionalism and the quality of the food. My wedding was the best night of my life, and Cafe Natalie played a huge part in making sure the event went smoothly.

Because we had a smaller list of guests (50), a lot of vendors didn't really want to take us on and would make us wait for days, even weeks, before writing back to us, or not at all. Therefore, the planning process of our wedding was exhausting. However, that was not the case once we discovered Cafe Natalie!

Though Cafe Natalie wasn't on the preferred list that was given to us by our venue, they totally should be because finding them was the best thing that happened and working with them was the easiest thing out of all of the wedding things we had to do. We were lucky to work with Chris and Nicole, who are one of the most organized and super responsive and effective at communicating.

We had Nicole as our day-of coordinator, who even went above and beyond her job to help us pull off our day. Without a doubt, we would not have been able to get through the day without her. Not only she was the best coordinator we could have chosen, she's also one of the the most organized, thoughtful (and sweet) people that I'm lucky enough to know. I can't list enough all of the things she's great at, but I gotta mention that she is a very multi-talent individual who has great eyes for design and is excellent at multi-tasking. All of the future brides will be very lucky to have her. With Cafe Natalie, you know you can be worry-free to enjoy your special day!

Café Natalie was our catering company for a private baby shower.
They were very quick in responding all of my questions and assisted me with the food selection. We were able to confirm my order within time frame and it was hassle-free!
The staff was very professional and assisted in more than just their duties to cater. They were generous and did everything possible to make the event run very smoothly. They were exquisite in being courteous and respectful to guests and assisted in every way possible. They were sanitary and clean, as well as highly organized.
All the guests thoroughly enjoyed the food, especially the coconut lobster tail skewers. All the courses were fresh and delicious. Our chicken parmesan was tender and juicy and the top sirloin was an amazing entrée. I was assisted with every detail of the menu and the recommendations from the coordinator, John, which was superb. They were very detailed to make the event look elegant and tasteful from the goblets to dishware.
I would use Café Natalie for all future catering needs and I highly recommend them to others if you want excellent services.

I don't write reviews often- but I had to make sure to extend this to anyone who is looking for Class A catering service!!! Cafe Natalie was a delightful, delicious, and extremely professional catering company for my wedding. Since the first meeting, 10 months prior to my wedding, I was given excellent response and answers to questions that made me feel I was going to be in good hands. My guests are still commenting on how delicious the food was and how perfect everything was. Thank you so much Adela and Chris for making my special night that much more delicious! They will be recommended to all my friends for their weddings!

Chris and his staff were on top of their game for my wedding. I think the food was even better at the wedding than when we went for the tasting. And the food was great then. We had a sushi bar and that can be tricky. I had many, many guests tell me it was the best sushi they had ever had. An amazing feat for a wedding. The staff was well trained and organized. Our guests and I were very happy with the service. Cafe' Natalie definitely lived up to their reputation of providing great food and service.
