If you have made to this part where you are considering C Thompson Photography for your wedding photos you can end your search. I sincerely with all the love in my heart absolutely love the Carlton and Sheila!! From the first time I met them at the bridal expo in Baltimore to the day of the wedding, it felt as if we asked two family members to take our photos. They were always very respectful, professional, and flexible. If I could get married again (not happening) I would with out a doubt in my mind hire them over and over again. -

If you are looking for a phenomenal photographer, you can't get any better than C Thompson Photography!!! This husband and wife team are the best in the business. They were accommodating, super professional and provided awesome advice, ideas and service for our engagement and wedding photos. The quality of the work is absolutely amazing!!! We are still looking at our wedding album and all of the many photos taken to document our special day in awe...truly provided a lifetime of memories. I appreciate all of their hard work and already booking for our next photo shoot! -

Our pics came out great, we got wedding pics and engagement pics. All pics were high quality, and they were even flexible the day of the wedding, due to the fact that we were running really late. The day of our engagement pics, the day was very hot, and C Thompson took the time to deliver every shot that we asked for. I am definitely going to use their services again. I esp like the little card drive that the pics came on, very convenient -

Carlton & Sheila are nothing short of absolutely amazing! After they shot my sister's engagement shots, wedding shots, mom-to-be shots and my niece's newborn shots, there was NO doubt that I would use them for my wedding day. I've always loved Carlton & Sheila's creative eye and how they shoot the photos based on your energy/vibe as a couple, while using nature and the venue in a really creative way. My now-husband I got married at the courthouse in Annapolis and although we were on a budget, we still wanted to capture our special day. Carlton promptly met us at the courthouse and we shot so many beautiful pictures around historic Annapolis and within the courthouse and chapel. I can't wait to see the final pictures! -

We used C Thompson Photography for our wedding in March 2015 and Carlton and Sheila were fantastic! We used them for our engagement session as well and they were great to work with! My husband and I could not have picked better photographers than them. I must say that what we got was above an beyond what we expected. Not only were they responsible and punctual, but the were visibly happy to be there sharing our special day! They were both easy to work with and extremely friendly. We were absolutely blown away by their service and I would recommend their services to anyone who is getting married. Thank you for an exceptional experience, you made our day unforgettable guys!!!

(Part II of a two part review:)
On our wedding day, Carlton came to my hotel suite and photographed me and my bridal party as we got ready, while Sheila met my husband and his groomsmen at the church for pictures. They both photographed many candid shots, as well as the traditional posed shots. My oldest daughter has Autism, and it can be difficult to capture pictures of her where she is actually looking at the camera and smiling, so I explained that to Carlton and Sheila prior to our big day. During the day, they captured PERFECT pictures of her that I will cherish forever!
Carlton and Sheila really took their time at our reception, capturing all of the special moments - even the details of what we ate for dinner. Before they left the reception, they asked if there was anything else that we needed and once we got our final shots, they departed.
Following the wedding, we received a few "Sneak Peaks" within a week, and our preview disks a month or so later. Once we FINALLY settled in on which pictures we wanted in our album, we sent the choices to them and had our album with a few weeks after that!
I would highly recommend Carlton and Sheila Thompson for your Engagement / Wedding Photography!

(Part I of a II Part Review)
After watching Carlton and Sheila Thompson work a wedding and reception that I attended (my fiance' was in the wedding), I took their contact information for my wedding - which was 6 months later.
I really liked the fact that they are a husband and wife team. After viewing their website and the "Sneak Peaks" from a few other weddings, my fiance' and I made arrangements to meet them and discuss our wedding needs. We hired them and arranged for our engagement shoot. We chose a package that included our Engagement Picutures with the "Day Of" Photography, as well as the album that they create for you.
Carlton shot our engagement pictures on a stormy day in August - but he shot around the rain showers and even included some pretty cool puddle reflection shots into the set!
Carlton came to the Wedding rehearsal to map out where he wanted to get his shots. He worked well with our videographer and the Sound Tech at the church as well - discussing the layout and order of the program. -

C Thompson Photography covered our wedding in October of 2013. I have no words to describe the awesome service my husband and I received. Carlton and Sheila were more than just photographers........they at times doubled as "referee" and "event coordinator" with a class and grace all to itself. They had everyone at ease and weren't at all intrusive. Now lets talk pictures......SIMPLY AMAZING!!! The colors of their pictures jump out at you and tell such amazing stories. We actually are able to relive our special day simply by just looking at our photo album. And did I mention that their prices are very reasonable? You only get one chance to capture your special day. If you want to do it right...we highly recommend C Thompson Photography. -

Mr Thompson was very nice and patient with my husband and myself ,Mr Thompson stayed for the whole time before and after the wedding I have photos of family and friends that attend my wedding the pictures that he took are very nice if and when I renew my vows I will be calling .C Thompson photography . My wife and I chose C Thompson Photography at the Baltimore Bridal Expo. Carlton wanted to meet with us to get to know us, our vibe and schedule our engagement shoot. The engagement shoot was perfect! He found beautiful backdrops of my city that I didn't even know existed! We truly felt like models. When we saw the shots, we were blown away! The editing looked so natural and the pictures were crystal clear, so we knew we were truly in for a treat for our wedding. On wedding day, Carlton was shooting my bride and his wife Sheila was shooting me. Then they came back together for the ceremony. I was so into my bride that I didn't notice them during our ceremony, but they got every single picture! Even having us in the air jumping the broom! They were so nonintrusive, but caught every moment! Then after the ceremony we went to a nearby college with a park. The husband and wife duo drove over with us and gave us so many different unique poses and kept us laughing so much that we weren't affected by the August heat. As we arrived back for the reception, the fantastic photographers captured every minute of the event which was the best time of our lives! So the day finally arrived when we were to see our pictures. Carlton invited us to his home. He told us a couple of stories about some weddings he did and made us laugh. Carlton then showed us a wedding highlight slide show with soothing jazz music. They caught all of the shots and then some! The lighting was perfect! Then he showed us the book setup, which was golden! My wife and I knew picked the perfect photographers! We went home to change a few things from the book. Carlton made the changes quickly for us to get the book in time for Christmas to show our families. We also got a commemorative flashdrive that had C Thompson Photography on it with the engagement shots, highlights sideshow, wedding book, and all of the wedding photos to print. I DEFINITELY recommend this dynamic duo photography dream team!

I'd like to start by saying THANK YOU, THANK YOU to C Thompson Photography! If you have been searching for a photographer,look no more,you have found it. Carlton and Sheila are a gem with great talent and masters at their craft. My husband and I first met Carlton last winter at a wedding show in downtown Baltimore. We were blown away by the display that he had and the books of past events and mini accordian book.They truly have an eye for this.We had two bad experiences with prior photographers and were feeling like we had no hope. The other prices were extremely expensive with pictures that just weren't creative.I called Carlton two days after meeting him and my husband and I met him for dinner and he went over the prices and created a package to meet the needs for our August wedding.We started with our engagement session which was top notch.It rained while in route to our outside session and Carlton & Sheila didn't hestitate to reschedule for another date. Carlton took beautiful pictures capturing our love & energy.We felt completely comfortable to be ourselves.Then our wedding came on Aug 10, 2013 and we just got those pictures back.Wow,these pictures are simply amazing & beautiful!!! I am so pleased.I look and feel just like a princess. The pictures have a magical feel to them. Our photo album is on its way and we have already ordered Christmas cards and additional albums online. Carlton & Sheila were so warm and professional.They invited us to their home to review the online photo album for our approval before print.We made our revisions to it and it was corrected in less than 24 hours and sent to be printed.I appreciate you two so much and Jay and I truly enjoyed working with you both. Sheila and Carlton were both professional and fun. They are great at giving you direction and suggestions. My husband and I met Carlton and Sheila Thompson at the Baltimore Bridal Showcase in early spring of 2011. We stopped by their booth for more information on their services and we immediately clicked. They are a wonderful husband and wife collaboration and their price points are very reasonable. We had our engagement photo session at a park in Washington D.C. We wanted to include our dog in our engagement photos as well, and Carlton was very open to the idea. The engagement session went great and our pictures were beautiful. The events of our wedding day went pretty smoothly. Thanks to Carlton's suggestion of taking most of the bridal party pictures before the ceremony, my husband and I had plenty of time to take our pictures during the cocktail hour. This saved a great deal of time as we were never in a rush for anything on our wedding day. Their shots were absolutely wonderful, and I hardly remember seeing them during the ceremony and reception!
The final product, our digital photos and the wedding album were exquisite. All of our friends and family were amazed when they saw the wedding album. The pictures were wonderful and they had never seen anything like it. As a Christmas gift to some of our family and friends, we asked Carlton to print 8 x 10 photos of a long list of pictures. He personally delivered the prints to our home, nicely packaged and they were beautiful. We could go on and on about our wonderful experience with C Thompson Photography, their professionalism, and expertise. Please do not hesitate to use C Thompson Photography for your photography needs. They are a wonderful pair and we are so happy we chose them. We never had a single worry about anything while working with them. -

A few years ago I saw a coworkers wedding album and remembered being impressed by her photos, but when we began planning I could not remember the photographer until I saw his card at a Bridal Show. What a Blessing!!! Carlton and Sheila have found their gift. They are interested in knowing you are a couple. They spend their time, and it is evident that they really love what they do. Initially, we thought we have plenty of pictures together and really didn't need an engagement photo shoot, but boy were we wrong. The pictures were amazing, he turned an average park into a remote photo scene... amazing. The photo's are innovative and unique, each tells a story of that couple. Well worth every penny and then some. It's amazing when one picture can express every thought that I had inside. His photographs are breath taking. We can't wait to see the rest of the our wedding album. This was the best investment! Excellent customer services with all the personal touches... -

Carlton and Shelia were beyond AMAZING! From the engagement shoot to our wedding day! They were attentive to our needs and got some amazing shots that people are still talking about! Each time someone asks who did our pictures I quickly tell them and also have told others who have recently gotten engaged. A family friend is an aspiring photographer and his mom asked that I show him our album because it was high quality work and something he should aim for! We were referred to Carlton and Sheila by good friends of ours, who had a family session with them. I was very impressed by their portfolio on their website and felt that they would be a great fit for us. We had a lot of fun on our engagement session and they made us feel very comfortable with all the different shots we had taken. After seeing the engagement photos, I knew that they were going to capture all of the great moments of our wedding day, which they did. I absolutely love how all of our photos turned out and four months later I still find myself still amazed at how they captured all of the special moments of our wedding day. C Thompson Photography was amazing! We first met the Dynamic Duo at the Baltimore bridal show. Immediately, they were extremely friendly (not too pushy as many of the vendors are) and allowed their work to speak for itself!
We immediately set up a home consultation, locked in our date (10/10/10) and the rest was history. We bought the package that included the engagement photos, our album and our parent books. Unlike many of the corporate run wedding photography companies, C Thompson adds a personal element and with all the time we spent together, I feel like we're old friends.

C Thompson Photography has done 2 of my sister's weddings, so I knew right from the start I wanted them for my big day. We first met Carlton and Sheila at the Baltimore Convention Center for a Bridal show in March 2011, our wedding was in 4 months and we still hadn't found a photographer !! From the moment I saw his work and then went onto his website, I knew he was the man for us !! An absolute pleasure to work with !! Carlton is truly the best at what he does !! I would highly recommend Carlton to anyone looking for someone who is at the top of his game !! No one will remember the food, music, or decor, but they will remenber the photos, as this is a very important part of any wedding. Working with Carlton Thompson was a blast!!! They husband and wife team was always very professional and prompt. Our photos (engagement and wedding) are beautiful. The way in which he designed our wedding album was very very nice. He has a very keen eye for picture taking. We had a great time taking pictures, couldn't stop laughing and smiling for the photos. When it came to selecting a photographer for my wedding, I knew three things: 1) I only had one shot to get it right, 2) my photos would be all I had when the day was done, and 3) I was not going to mess it up! That made choosing C. Thompson Photography absolutely a no brainer. I had seen their work, (it speaks for itself) and I had heard how great they are to work with. But, now that it’s all said and done, not even the rave reviews did them justice!
Carlton’s passion, artistry, and skill surpass any hopes and expectations you may have. First, he takes the time to really listen and figure you out as a couple. Next, he captures your uniqueness, feelings, and beauty in each photograph. Then, he weaves them all together into your personal fairy tale. The final result is breathtaking. I still can’t believe this gorgeous album is really of my husband and me!
Oh, and did I mention that Sheila was invaluable on my wedding day? She went way beyond the call of duty to make sure each detail was perfect. If I had it to do over again, I absolutely would! And, I strongly suggest you do the same!

I am not a person that enjoys posing for pictures at all. When it came time to take engagement photo's I was nervous and uptight and wanted to get it over with QUICK! Carlton made me feel very comfortable, he's a everyday likable guy I was able to relax and enjoy my future husband which allowed him to capture that emotion between the two of us. His patience and passion about his craft comes through during his sessions. At the end of our session he had a little surprise touch that we both were really impressed with (I wont tell, you will have to see for yourself). After the shoot I was actually looking forward to the wedding night photo's.
When the wedding day came I was already so comfortable with Carlton and Sheila I forgot they were there. They blended in like family. Unfortunately Sheila had to deal with my moodiness as I tried to shake the prewedding madness and the fact that my make-up artist forgot to show, ughh. She didn't pay me no mind she went on doing what she do, snap, snap, snap.
I cant wait to see the final product. Even though there were poses that I forgot to take I know the final product will be beautiful and I wont even notice.
We're counting down until we can call them again for our family pics in the fall.
Awesome husband and wife team. Will defenately recommend again and again.

I would like to thank Carlton and Shelia for making our wedding day my dream. Our pictures are beautiful. I (Nachelle) don’t like pictures of myself now I do thanks to Carlton Photography. I felt like a model. All of our family and friends are still talking about how nice the photo album looks. I love my photo album the quality is GREAT and I keep it on display. When picking out photographers, you want the best for your wedding day, so after looking through tons of ads and interviews, I was truly pleased with the results and the professionalism of Carlton and Shiela. I told them what my vision was and they showed me how they could bring that vision to life, I wanted formal yet photojournalistic photos for that day. They were on time and captured moments of that day that are truly breathtaking. C. Thompson Photography is simply fantastic. From the actual photos to their client service, C. thompson and his wife and partner Shelia provided excellence from start to finish. My husband and I were on a budget of course but we selected a package that was not only reasonable in cost but came with great inclusions like an engagement session and high quality photo book. Our photographers were punctal despite our early morning wedding and were brilliant in handling unforseen problems as they occurred. Carlton's keen artistic eye lent to the capturing of some of the sweetest and endearing moments of our special day. I feel like all our photos are beatiful works of art! Our experience with Carlton was very positive. He does excellent work and was very flexible throughout the entire process. I was most impressed with his ability to work with the color in our church, as most of the light was coming in through a stain glass window that made everything look orange. Carlton handled it with no problem and our pictures turned out beautiful. We would definitely work with him again in the future and recommend him to others. -

Carlton and Sheila work wonderfully together. They were swamped with weddings that year and we were the last one, so that could explain the delayed responses. We would have liked to have seen more flexibility in what we wanted for our pictures. But the bottom line is the quality of the pictures turned out great and we were satisfied. The day of the wedding they came with their A game and were very professional and followed the script, which we appreciated. -
