Chris added so much to our perfect day, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. Since we had a cocktail-style wedding, keeping the energy up and the flow of the evening moving was so important. His input, structure, and experience were absolutely invaluable, and he knew exactly how to keep the party going while making everything feel effortless and fun.
We had a very mixed group of guests, with family and friends coming from across the pond, guests of all ages, and everyone sharing one thing in common, a love of great music. Chris did an incredible job making sure everyone heard songs that were meaningful to them and kept our guests on their feet and dancing all night long. He was amazing at reading the room and creating a playlist that brought everyone together.
He was wonderful with all of our guests and made sure every song that was important to us was played. He paid attention to the details and prioritized the songs we specifically mentioned, which meant so much to us.
Chris also brought fantastic equipment and beautiful uplighting that completely transformed the space and set the perfect mood for the evening portion of our wedding. Everything looked and sounded incredible.
We truly couldn’t recommend a better DJ to anyone looking. You are absolutely in the best hands with Chris. He helped make our wedding unforgettable, and we can’t thank him enough. Best wedding DJ ever!

Chris was an amazing DJ! He guided the whole event like the ultimate professional. Classy, insightful and an expert at reading the room. I can honestly say the experience would not have been the same without him providing his expertise in pacing, timing and tone. Chris is the best in the business! He perfectly blends a fun attitude with professionalism. During pre-wedding planning he was very thorough and thoughtful in planning our timeline for speeches, dances, toasts, etc. He offered great advice and thoughts to make a smooth and memorable timeline. Best DJ ever!!
Chris was, without a doubt, the most amazing DJ ever. We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding at Governor Calvert House! It was an absolutely electric night that I’ll be dreaming about forever; the dance floor was packed from start to finish. My husband and I had crazy busy schedules leading up to our wedding, but Chris was very proactive and organized, and was always available if we needed him, whether that was over email or on a quick phone call. We were pretty indecisive and changed our slow dance songs multiple times close to the wedding day, but Chris was super quick to cut/edit and send them back to us for review (along with the mother-son/father-daughter dances). He sent several different versions and was really good at incorporating our feedback. One of the songs was also particularly difficult to edit, but he did an excellent job cutting it down!
We had a good sense of what songs we wanted to hear, and Chris made sure to include all of our must-plays throughout the night. The most impressive part of this was his ability to read the crowd and know what songs to play. Although most of our songs came from the playlist we gave him, the songs outside of that still fit our vibe and music taste perfectly, and everyone had an absolute blast. There were songs for everyone, and he played them in a way that got guests of all ages dancing. It’s been a month and our guests are still raving about the incredible energy at the reception and how that was one of the best weddings they’ve been to! I know for a fact that wouldn’t have been possible without Chris’ help. He did a wonderful job at keeping things moving smoothly and efficiently, from the start of cocktail hour to the very end.
Looking back on everything now, it is clear that Chris cares about making your day one to remember, and he really took the time to get to know us and what we wanted. By the time the wedding came around, he knew exactly what he was doing and knew exactly what we needed. You can trust in him from day one. If you need a DJ/MC, Chris is your guy! Thank you, Chris!

Amazing and attentive!
DJ Karl was amazing!! He was on point, brought a handheld mic like a superhero when we needed to for the vows, kept the dance floor filled, was so attentive to us as the couple and kept us informed of what was coming next in the schedule, and was sure to play my favorite song when I was on the dance floor! Reliable, Amazing Wedding DJ Service
We attended a wedding where we were very impressed by the quality of their DJ, and it turns out it was C&J Entertainment. When I started to plan my own wedding, I knew that we had to hire them and was thrilled they had our date available. Chris was a joy to coordinate with and was able to edit the songs I needed perfectly. We ended up having Karl as our MC and DJ day of and we were so impressed! Karl was professional, kind, and timed everything perfectly. He paid attention to every detail and was on top of the day. Every song he played was exactly what I wanted and he really read the crowd. I really believe our day went so smooth because of Karl. It is so true that your MC is one of the most important components of a wedding day. Absolutely loved having a C&J DJ for our wedding! DJ Chris was great to work with beforehand in preparation for the day - he made sure our timeline made sense & the music worked for the timing, gave great suggestions, and created great edits for the special dances. The Best New Years Eve Wedding DJ EVER!
Chris was the best DJ we could have asked for, for our wedding. He was organized, professional, and fun! He understood our vision for our wedding and made sure that we had everything we wanted. We had two meetings to discuss song choices, timelines, etc. He provided feedback and assisted us with different wedding logistics. Chirs was very communicative, he responded to emails in a timely manner, edited music for our first dance and answered all my little questions. He stuck to the list of music that we gave him, and made sure to keep the dance floor full the entire night. During cocktail hour and dinner, he played romantic music that set the mood for the evening. Everyone told me that my wedding was one of the most fun weddings they had been to because they had so much fun on the dance floor, and that is thanks to Chris. He was able to read the room expertly; he would play fun top hits, to slower dances, to throwback songs. He was able to go with the flow as things were changing on the actual wedding day, and he worked well with my other vendors. Thank you Chris!

Millennial Dance Party

High Quality Wedding DJ!!
C&J Entertainment Agency was THE BEST DJ at our wedding last month in Woodstock, MD! In the months leading up to our wedding, Chris was responsive and organized in planning out the flow of our day. He also spent a generous amount of time working with me on my day of timeline to make sure we had a song to cover each portion of the day. I had Karl Hunt as my day of DJ, and he was exactly what we were looking for. We had a lengthy timeline and a lot of unique events, and Karl jumped right in and absolutely nailed it. Amazing Experience with Chris Temple at C&J Entertainment
We had the best experience with C&J Entertainment at our wedding at Celebrations at the Bay in Pasadena, MD. Chris Temple was our DJ. Leading up to the wedding he was organized and made sure that we had meetings to review our music selections and the timeline for our wedding.
During the wedding itself, Chris was on time with every song that we selected for the ceremony and made sure that things flowed nicely for the cocktail hour and reception. We had also hired a saxophonist for our reception, and they worked together seamlessly to keep the party going. Everyone was on the dance floor and we truly had the best night. We couldn't thank him enough for making sure that our wedding music was amazing!

Fun to work with, fabulous service
We are so glad to have used Chris from C&J Entertainment as the DJ for our wedding. From the first phone call, Chris demonstrated how knowledgeable and caring he and the rest of the company are. He took the time to get to know our musical preferences, which really showed during our conversations and on the big day. The night of our first phone call, he had already expertly cut three different versions of the song we had chosen as our first dance song, one of which was the one he played for us 13 months later.
While I know we could have left all the other musical choices in his hands, he was also very receptive when I wanted to compile my own playlists for different portions of the day. He provided guidance on the number of songs to play, when we should play slower songs, what kind of song we should use to start, say, the dance portion of the reception, etc. It was priceless to hear the songs we had carefully chosen play on our day. It was hugely cool of Chris to be that collaborative with us.
Throughout our phone calls and emails, Chris was always a great listener. He worked across me and our wedding coordinator very well. I never had to worry about him or the high quality of the services he provided. On the wedding day, he was just as friendly as ever and interacted with guests in the most awesome of ways.
I highly recommend C&J Entertainment, especially Chris. You’ll be happy you did!

He was an absolute superstar from start to finish. I'll admit, I was pretty anxious about finding the right DJ, knowing how much they can impact the atmosphere of a wedding. But Chris not only met but exceeded all our expectations, making our special day truly unforgettable.
During our outdoor ceremony, with a road right behind us, Chris worked his magic to ensure that every guest could hear us clearly. His attention to detail and proactive approach during the planning process was incredibly reassuring, especially for a meticulous bride like myself. If you're someone who sweats the small stuff, trust me, Chris is your guy!
When it came to the reception, Chris was nothing short of spectacular. He effortlessly played the exact songs we wanted, and to top it off, he kept checking in with us throughout the night to see if there was anything else he could do. It was no surprise that two couples approached us during the night, eager to get his contact details for their own weddings next year.

Amazing DJ for Our Wedding Day
C&J did an outstanding job with our wedding in September 2023. We booked Chris, he was on top of everything. We had several meetings with him to make sure we were on the same page regarding ceremony(we thought that was the easy part-there are a whole lot of more details needed just for that) our cocktail hour and dinner/reception. C&J Entertainment was perfect for our wedding. We worked with Chris to customize the music and timeline for the day. He was very knowledgeable and fun to work with. All of his suggestions to make the day run smoothly worked out great!
We worked with DJ Karl on the wedding day and he was amazing! He was personable and great at reading the room and adapting to changes. Everything ran seamlessly and he did a great job at mixing and adding to our list of song to keep us and our guests entertained all night.

Great DJ and planning experience!
Working with Chris was a dream! He was so professional and easy to work with. He sat with us to talk through what vision we had for the music and even edited all three of the songs we used for our first dance, father-daughter, and mother-son dances so that they would be the right length but still sound cohesive and beautiful. Chris from C&J Entertainment was great from start to finish. He was patient with us and helped us create a timeline for how WE wanted the day to go. He had suggestions but ultimately he let my wife and I make the final decisions. On the day of the wedding he made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Chris did an amazing job at our wedding this past weekend! If you are looking for someone who can keep your entire guest list of all age groups, dancing on the dance floor for 6+ hours straight, then look no further!
Chris at C&J Entertainment did an incredible job. Not only did he do an excellent job hosting and mixing, he helped the other vendors out where needed and kept the whole program running smoothly (mega thankful Chris!). He was super kind, consulted us when he needed too, and made the whole planning process so smooth from start to finish. There is a lot to learn when you are a young couple planning your big day together, and the schedule for the wedding day is a BIG one, he helped us get this all together and align the music we wanted for special moments throughout the day.
We were super stoked when Chris provided an encore of the best 90s and 00s punk rock EVER and kept the dancing going deep into the evening! We had folks dancing and lip singing who NEVER do that. It was truly a perfect evening with Chris on DJ. Highly recommend.

Chris is the man!
After our original DJ fell through the week of our wedding, we contacted Chris at C&J Entertainment, and he stepped up immediately to save our day and ease our stress. In 3 days, he was able to take our list of preferred songs and artists and crafted amazing playlists for cocktail hour and the reception. Numerous people came up to us at the wedding and are still mentioning how amazing our DJ was and how much fun they had dancing. Our guests never left the dance floor. Chris is so reliable, a great person, even better DJ, and we cannot recommend him enough!

C&J Entertainment we’re phenomenal! Planning a COVID was certainly not easy but he was easy to work with and was able to bring our musical dreams to life. Even the Bohemian Rhapsody dance party at the end of the night. Guests still talk about the great music that was played and how much they couldn’t believe the bride (me) never left the dance floor. Do yourself a favor and book them!!

These guys absolutely killed it. I worked with Chris Temple leading up to wedding day and he was amazing. Super responsive and personable. He helped us make our timeline and ensure we had the perfect music clip for each moment of the wedding. we love our music, so we also loved that they let us pick out what music we wanted for most of the night. Chris also made perfect edits for our ceremony and first dance songs.
Karl was our DJ on the actual day of and he was also INCREDIBLE!!! He played every song we asked him too, but also was able to keep the flow of music perfectly- filling in with songs that he knew we would like based on our music choices thus far. The dance floor was actually insane, the whole venue was packed in and dancing- not just the dance floor. SO FUN! He also was so good about keeping the entire wedding on track and acting as the MC. He was absolutely essential!!! I was so happy to have him there to help!

Chris and DJ Karl were the absolute BEST to work with for our wedding, they made everything so easy and kept everyone on the dace floor all night! Chris was super personable and really great at walking us through the schedule of events for the day. He had great insights, gave advice when we needed it, and guided us through figuring out the best agenda that would work for what we were looking for. DJ Karl absolutely killed it on the day of the wedding! Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and everyone was raving about how awesome our DJ was. I seriously can't give enough praise for how great DJ Karl did at reading the room, keeping us on schedule, and getting everyone out on the dance floor and dancing all night. He also called us in the weeks before the wedding to go through the plan for the evening, review name pronunciations, talk about our must play/do not play list, and made sure we were aligned on all the details. The best dj!
If you need a DJ for your wedding, Chris is your guy!! He did the BEST job at our wedding, I am not even kidding our guests danced from the minute the mother/son, father/daughter dances ended to when the lights turned on at the end of the night. Chris not only did an amazing job with music selection to keep everyone dancing, but he is so detail oriented that every possible transition or opening in the reception was well thought out. Everything flowed perfectly, from the timing of the music during the ceremony, to the walk-out songs, and all of the introductions of different guests/speakers/or dances. There was never an awkward moment or lull in the night. And if someone did something silly/weird (like my dad not walking over to hug me after his speech because he didn't realize why I was standing there looking at him) Chris would just crack a joke and everyone would laugh it off. But most importantly he kept us on schedule throughout the night, so we were able to just enjoy each moment to it's fullest, and when it was time for cake Chris made sure we were in the right place at the right time. We love C&J Entertainment/Chris!!!

Chris Temple, the owner and our DJ, was phenomenal! From the first time we met with him, we knew he was the one we were going to trust to make our wedding so memorable. And he did not disappoint. We were married 1 week ago, and I can not tell you how many people have reached out to us to tell us this was the best wedding that they have ever attended! Our guests were asked to wear masks on the dance floor and this did not stop all 80 of them from enjoying the wonderful music. I don’t have enough words to express how grateful I am that C&J Entertainment was able to DJ our reception. I started speaking with Chris in August of 2019 when I got engaged and he was so invested in helping me bring my reception dreams to life. He was always quick to respond, helped me with reception timeline suggestions, would send music samples, and was always quick to make me laugh during stressful wedding planning phone calls! Then, my wedding was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID, but Chris promised he’d still DJ when we planned a new wedding date. Finally, April 10th, 2021, we had our wedding and Chris helped me pull reception details together in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Everyone complimented me on our DJ and said how he did such an amazing job keeping the party going all night. Everyone danced the entire time and all I kept telling Chris was that I wanted a giant dance party. He kept the music and party going, kept everything running smoothly between the music for happy hour, dinner, father daughter and mother daughter dances, speeches, and overall just keeping the awesome and fun atmosphere going all night! C&J Did Great In Spite of Changes
We hired C&J Entertainment as our DJ/MC for our wedding in September 2020. Initially we had planned to do it on a Saturday, September 26th, but in the months before it was to happen Baltimore city announced COVID restrictions for all indoor venues, meaning we could not hold our wedding ceremony and reception like we planned in our first choice of venue. We instead moved it back by a day and at a new venue (the Liriodendron Mansion in Bel Air). Here is where C&J, like many of the vendors we worked with, gets its high marks: when we notified Chris of the changes in date and venue, he said that it would not be a problem and they would still be able to DJ the wedding. The only change was that Karl would serve as our DJ instead of Chris. Nevertheless, working with C&J Entertainment was an absolute pleasure. Discussing our plans with Chris was made easy by his great personality and his expertise. Karl’s knowledge of the venue set-up also made a big difference in getting the most out of our music and entertainment at a place that can present some challenges. Chris and Karl are two good reasons why C&J Entertainment is a great DJ service to work with and we highly recommend them for any event.

Best DJ and MC all in one!
Following several recommendations from family and friends we decided to contact DJ Chris from C & J entertainment. We were sold after our first consultation! Planning a wedding during COVID was not easy and Chris was extremely attentive and flexible to our many changes. He is also hilarious! Our reception was seamless, Chris effortlessly guided the party through the timeline and if the bridal party was late or missed something at any point no guest would have known. He played most of our “must play” list but more importantly he knew exactly which songs to play and when to keep the dance floor full. After the wedding we received endless compliments from guests about the music and quality of DJ. C & J also provided us with uplights for the reception space which were beautiful. Highly recommend!

Wedding reception canceled, but we would still hire this DJ
Unfortunately, our wedding reception had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we did go through the planning stages with reception, including selecting a DJ. Chris Temple was a pleasure to work with, and even during a difficult time to plan a reception, Chris was very enthusiastic and helped us enjoy the reception timeline and music selection process. He was great in helping us think through the logistics and timing of the event. Chris was very accommodating, and it is just unfortunate we could not actually hold the event due to tightened event restrictions due to the pandemic. We still would recommend Chris, and if we have an opportunity to schedule a future event in the Annapolis area, we would absolutely hire Chris.

The best dj!
My husband and I got married in August (postponed from May) and were lucky enough to get Chris T as our DJ. When we met with Chris in his studio he asked us questions we didn't even think about and helped us significantly in getting all of our songs ideas together! Fast forward to the day of our wedding and Chris knocked it out of the park!! He knew exactly what songs to play and when throughout the night and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. Just about every guest told us by the end of the night or the next day that he was the best DJ they've ever seen. We couldn't have been happier with our choice to go with C & J Entertainment and will recommend them over and over again! 10/10 highly recommend, you won't regret it!!

The perfect vibe for our wedding
Wow, Karl did such a great job! He was so flexible and went with flow. Both my husband and I forgot to communicate to him a couple changes made the day before but he caught on and adjusted accordingly for our wedding day. The music selection was exactly what we wanted. He even double checked with me regarding what songs he might not be able to get to which was highly appreciated. Karl communicated to our guests in the most perfect way. There was never a dull moment. We were very happy and impressed with Karl's work. Thank you for an amazing day!
We worked with Chris prior to the wedding day and his wealth of experience helped us set realistic expectations and plan our wedding "properly."

The Perfect DJ
Chris has the perfect personality for a DJ. Chris is organized and has the schedule down to a science. He was able to read the room and keep the dance floor packed ALL night. Chris was very responsive and easy to work with. Would hire Chris again if I ever need a DJ.

Wonderful Experience!
We had hired C&J Entertainment before the pandemic, but were to be married in June of 2020. Chris was absolutely wonderful the entire time we worked with him, and he was so flexible and understanding when we had to adjust our plans. He was so helpful throughout the planning, and we couldn’t have asked for more! I highly recommend working with Chris for any DJ needs you have! Best DJ Ever? (Spoiler) Yes.
Chris Temple is the best wedding (and I'm sure every other event) DJ out there, plain and simple. Super responsive, super knowledgeable about basically every music genre/time period, and knows how weddings flow/are supposed to flow. He gave us amazing musical recommendations that we didn't even know we needed/wanted, he helped us plan the entire outline of how the wedding would flow, and he kept the night moving along about as smoothly as possible. He worked with us on queues of when to end songs, when to start songs, when to start activities or events during the wedding, and kept people dancing (as in the entire dance floor was full) from the very first song until we played the last song of the night. By the way, this including an age range from 6-91.
Again, best DJ ever; if you're still looking around, look no further.

Dance floor was packed the ENTIRE time!
Thank you so much C&J for making our wedding the party of a lifetime. Chris was so helpful during the planning process. He assisted with building a timeline, developing song lists, and editing our first dance, father daughter, etc. Chris really understands the flow of a wedding and makes sure his DJs keep everything on time and so fun! Mario was the DJ for our wedding and he was fantastic! He made sure to call me the week before to go over the final details and the night of the wedding he really came through! The music was exactly what I wanted...fun songs that all ages can enjoy. I’m not kidding when I say our dance floor was packed all the way up to the last song of the night. I’ve never been to a wedding like that! It was amazing!

Professional, responsive and excellent
We had such a great experience with C&J -- they came recommended by my venue and had great reviews, but as soon as I spoke to Chris, I could tell he was running a professional groups of experts. I felt so relaxed and confident they'd do a great job.
We loved our DJ, Karl, who was awesome and absolutely crushed it from the cocktail hour, to the dinner, and dance floor. People from my friends to friends of parents were dancing all night long! Highly recommend!

They’re the best!
Chris and his team are the BEST! Chris was extremely helpful leading up to our big day and gave excellent advice. We had Karl as our DJ and our guests are still raving about him! He was super professional. He was available via text message in the days leading up to our wedding, making my life so much easier as I made last minute changes. Karl was adaptable and friendly. Set an AWESOME vibe for the entire reception
I can't say enough about how wonderful Chris/C&J Entertainment is. They are absolutely reliable and affordable. But more importantly, Chris created an atmosphere for all of our guests that made the entire night. As a musician, it was so important to me that the music be AWESOME and appeal to both our older and younger guests. I didn't even have to ask - he just made the night appeal to everyone. HIRE THEM. Fabulous DJ
C&J Entertainment was fabulous. DJ Chris made our day as special as we always hoped it would be. He worked with us a few times the months before the wedding to put together our playlist. He gave us great advice on what works and what doesn't to get people on the dance floor. He helped to create the father/daughter dance mash-up, found every song that I wanted to use, and planned everything out in an organized way. The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. The dance floor was packed the entire time. Chris stayed within our playlist and made sure to play all of our dedication songs and must plays. He also made sure to keep the do not plays out of the evening. I highly recommend DJ Chris.

Dancing all night!
We are so happy we went with C&J entertainment. Chris was an absolute pleasure to work with. He worked so hard to make sure we were completely happy and spent 40 minutes just trying to find the perfect version of our first dance song! We had DJ Karl as our MC. He did a great job and walked us through everything. He also checked in with me during the wedding to make sure I was happy with everything and everything was running smoothly.

Bottom line up front - This is the guy you want to DJ your wedding or other special occasion. I would absolutely recommend Chris and his team to anyone needing the perfect and dedicated DJ for their wedding or other special event! Leading up to our special day, Chris was very detailed in his planning for the event, ensuring he knew all of our song requests and schedule of events for the wedding reception. He was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to emails. He did a great job playing music that flowed with the crowd and kept the wedding events like toasts, speeches, dinner, cake cutting, and garter/bouquet toss on schedule without killing the dancing mood our guests had going. Overall great service and very memorable evening due in part to his efforts!

The dance floor was full all night!
We were referred to C&J by a friend who had them for their wedding and they didn't disappoint! Chris really knew what he was doing! He pretty much laid out our whole ceremony and reception music timeline, which was so helpful because we had no idea the normal sequence of wedding events. They also provided the uplighting which created the perfect atmosphere for the dance floor. On wedding day, Our DJ was great! Although we had suggestions of what we wanted played, we told him to just read the crowd and play whatever seemed to keep everyone on the dance floor and he did an awesome job, everyone had a blast! He was also very helpful coming to find us when certain songs or events were about to happen so we didn't miss anything!

Chris was simply the best DJ out there! From the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception the music was perfect! Chris worked with us to make the best play lists for all the events and to keep the party going. Chris was great at keeping the room in order and keeping everyone out on the dance floor. He did a great job of combining all types of music and making the whole room happy! I had many compliments about his work and people were really excited when their requested song was played. Chris also did our uplighting and it was perfect! We wanted a really specific pink color and were able to make our own with the type of lights he has. Best DJ Ever!
Chris from C&J Entertainment was our first pick when having to choose a DJ for our wedding. He played at one of our friend's weddings so we knew first hand how fantastic he was already. We booked him and immediately could tell just how passionate he was about his job. He was enthusiastic and upbeat and a pleasure to work with. We met in person and talked on the phone several times to ensure that the music played throughout our day was "us." He knocked it out of the park with the day-of playlists. We had friends/family ask us if we chose every single song ourselves because they were all so fitting to us as a couple and to what we like/listen to. He was absolutely spectacular and a joy to work with. I highly recommend him to anyone who isn't afraid to kick off your heals and have some fun on the dance floor.

We had a great experience with C&J entertainment- specifically Chris Temple. The dance floor was full the entire night. He knew how to read the crowd and played songs that everyone could sing along and dance to. We received multiple positive reviews from guests who had a blast on the dance floor. Chris was very helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding and patiently made numerous edits of our songs. Matt was our DJ for the wedding itself, and he was a great MC. The acoustics at our venue weren't the best, but he still managed to keep things flowing. He also kept the dance floor packed all night long!

Best Wedding DJ in the area
From the very beginning initial meeting with the owner Chris, we know C&J Entertainment was the perfect fit for our wedding at the Belvedere. Chris has a wonderful charisma about him from making you feel like if you choose his company you are in the right hands to his knowledge and suggestions. Chris made the experience easy and enjoyable. He matched us with DJ Karl and he was everything we were looking for in our DJ. We had ideas and songs selected but Karl took it to another level. Danced The Night Away
Finding a wedding DJ is OVERWHLEMING! We talked to several different companies and chose C&J. Talking to Chris was so natural that by our final meeting I felt like he was an old friend, he immediately understood who we were as people and as a couple. He did a great job of guiding how much input we needed to provide and was really helpful with laying out how the music would help the wedding flow. On the day of we worked with DJ Karl who did an amazing job of keeping the dance floor moving! He executed our details as requested, was friendly but not overly chatty on the microphone, he was totally fun, flexible and accommodating! Working with C & J Entertainment was amazing! Chris is hilarious and obviously great at what he does. He was very flexible when our schedules prevented us from meeting him at first. The timeline Chris gave us for the wedding day is the one we gave to our wedding coordinator because it was so well done and was specific to our venue. Chris was a fantastic DJ for my birthday party! I wanted to dance all night, and that's exactly what we did. He graciously accepted my playlist (which was extensive), made excellent song choices from it, was flexible with requests, and kept that dance floor full the entire evening. Everyone had a fantastic time, and there were people of all ages - from 18 to 65. Quite a few of my friends told me how much fun they had, and almost all followed that up with a compliment about Chris. If I ever need a DJ again, you know who I will be calling. C&J was the only DJ company I interviewed, and I'm SO glad I didn't bother shopping around. Chris was invaluable during the planning process. I've been to a lot of weddings, but just never realized just how much planning goes into the reception timeline. Chris helped us put together a minute-by-minute timeline, with assurances that it could be flexible (and thank God it was). He also edited all the first dance songs, even my pretty untraditional father/daughter dance song, and they were awesome! Karl was our DJ the day of, and if you have the opportunity to request him- please do!! Our reception timeline got turned upside down and inside out due to unrelenting rain, and Karl was a true pro, rolling with the punches and ensuring everything still went smoothly. And the dance floor was PACKED the entire night- there wasn't a single song we didn't like (and we gave him a pretty bare bones playlist). A lot of guests have commented to me that our wedding was a lot of fun, and I have to give Karl a lot of credit there for keeping the party going.

From the second we sat down in Chris' office, we knew that he would be the perfect DJ for our wedding day. Not only is Chris funny and personable, but he truly understands how to create the perfect wedding day. Even though we had a day of wedding planner, Chris hammered out a timeline with us and when it came to our wedding day, he made sure that everything stayed on track. We weren't really sure what direction the music should go in, but Chris really helped get us on the right track and we had a blast selecting songs for the wedding. Chris honored all of our choices and made sure that we heard all of the songs we wanted to. He also kept everyone on the dance floor for the entire night. Beyond being DJ, Chris was the perfect emcee and helped set the tone by helping us choose the perfect color uplighting! My husband and I found C&J Entertainment a few days before our wedding after things did not work out with the initial DJ that we hired. We were in a panic mode but thankfully, Chris responded to our call and told us that his company could provide the DJ service for us despite our last-minute booking. C&J saved us from last-minute concerns that we had a few days before the wedding. Chris was professional and made sure that everything would work out. He worked with us on every detail within a few days to make sure that our wedding reception goes smoothly. DJ Karl was the DJ at our wedding reception and he,too, was very professional and listened to us and delivered fun, entertaining and quality service at our reception. We would highly recommend C& J for all the future couples.

Chris is the best! I’m so glad he was our DJ. He handled the ceremony, cocktail hour and party music as well as the uplighting. He is super responsive to emails and calls, very flexible and knowledgeable about which songs are best for the different parts of your night and he was willing to meet us at the venue to discuss uplighting placement and colors which was so helpful! In addition, during our meetings Chris was so fun and energetic that my new husband and I want him to be our new best friend. We got so many compliments on him and had guests of all ages dancing all night!
