Amazing to work with!

Everyone at C&J Catering was so kind and more than willingly to make accommodations for us. I’m gluten free and they provided so many different gluten free options which took so much stress off of me and my other guests with allergies. They were always quick to respond if we had a concern about anything. The food is incredible! Definitely high quality food and service. I 100% recommend using C&J for your special day!

C&J Catering is the Ultimate Wedding Caterer

C&J Catering provided all the food for our wedding November 2024 at the Star Barn in Elizabethtown, and it couldn't have turned out any better. From the charcuterie board display to passed hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour to our plated meals and late night snack at the reception, everything looked and tasted spectacular. We had guests from all over the country, and they couldn't stop ranting and raving about the food, especially the mini cheesesteaks, tomato basil arancini, bacon wrapped dates, risotto stuffed chicken, and braised short ribs. Then again I knew they would because of one particular person, and that's our event consultant Andrea Beshara. She ensured everything would be perfect, and it certainly was. I may have lost track of the amount of questions I asked her this past year, but there’s something I didn’t forget, and that was her patience and understanding. No matter what question I had, she always responded in a timely fashion and with such courtesy. She had great ideas and recommendations for cocktail hour and plated dinners. Not to mention she helped me tackle champagne toasts, linens, and napkins. Everything looked and tasted phenomenal, and I attribute all that to my girl, Andi. That girl deserves a raise!

Exceeded Expectations!

As an out-of-state wedding planner, I had the pleasure of working with C&J Catering & Decor for a recent wedding at the beautiful Brookmere Winery in Belleville, PA. I was thoroughly impressed by their professionalism and creativity.

Catering: The food was outstanding, showcasing local flavors that delighted both the couple and their guests. The team was attentive and executed the event perfectly, ensuring everyone had a fantastic dining experience.

Floral Design: The floral arrangements were breathtaking, perfectly complementing the winery’s rustic charm. They captured the couple’s vision beautifully and, in short, "nailed it"!!!

Overall, C&J (specifically, Andrea and her team) exceeded my expectations with their exceptional service and quality. I highly recommend them to any couple planning a wedding in this stunning region!

Working with C&J was amazing! Andrea was incredibly prompt with her responses throughout the process. They carried out our vision perfectly. Several of our guests said our food was delicious and “the best wedding food” they ever had! The bartending service with our signature his and hers cocktails were also done beautifully!

You can't get any better than C&J Catering!

I've had the pleasure to experience working with the team at C&J catering for many years. The food, the customer service, the bartenders, and the attention to detail were all top-notch. During my wedding planning experience, working with Andrea was such a dream! I think back to the earlier months of working together to come up with our menu - and the culinary team did a fantastic job whipping up some inspirational dishes that went along with our St. Patrick's Day theme. We had custom hors d'oeuvres and desserts that our guests went NUTS over. And they were very inclusive by ensuring that my guests with gluten free allergies also left with full bellies. The brisket....*chef's kiss* There weren't many leftovers and that's the biggest compliment of all to C&J Catering. All of the little details, all of my late-night emails, all of the careful attention made for a beautifully executed wedding day. Job well done!!!!!

Great Experience!

Let me just say - I was not an easy client! I had no idea what I wanted catering wise, but Andrea worked SO hard with me - everything ended up perfect thanks to her! We ended up doing kind of a mix of stations and buffet and it really worked out so well! I'm so grateful for Andrea, I never could have figured out a plan if it wasn't for her.

Amazing!!!!!!

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at the 903 and it was beautiful. The modern white furniture and layout make it super simple to decorate. As a DIY bride I appreciate this! Our guests thought the venue was beautiful. We also received tons of compliments that the food was amazing and our signature drinks were a hit thanks to the bartender. We had a little over 50 guests and we had plenty of space for a dance floor, photobooth, and caricature artist. Samantha and Shi were amazing to work with! Our wedding party had a private area upstairs where we had cocktail hour snacks. My husband and I also got a plate of food to take home with us the night of our wedding. Thank you to Samantha and Shi and the catering team for making our wedding reception a night to remember!

Fantastic experience with C&J

We used C&J for our catering, floral and design, and day-of-coordinating needs on our October 2nd wedding. The food was phenomenal. Everything was cooking perfectly (and for anyone who does book, try the salmon at their tasting!), presentation was beautiful, service was exceptional. I got so many compliments on the waitstaff from our guests! They did an awesome job. I also booked them for our rehearsal dinner and brunch the morning afterwards, and boy was I glad I did, they did an amazing job with those buffet events as well.
I used C&J for our floral & design – again, exceptional work. The flowers were gorgeous, and came out to a T how I described wanting my aesthetic to look. Courtney did an amazing job and paid very close attention to the details.
Part of the reason I sought out C&J was to find a team of vendors who worked closely together, and C&J was a prime example of how this works well.
C&J and especially Danielle, Jim, and Courtney, thank you for taking care of us on our wedding weekend.

Wedding Bliss

I recently worked with C&J Catering for my wedding. They were more than wonderful and handled everything for me, from cake to flowers to food to day of planning. It made my life so much easier to have everything done in one nice package. The day of could not have went more smoothly and the food was delicious. I still have guests commenting on how great the food was! All of the staff were so accommodating and gracious. Planning a wedding can be more than stressful, but they really pulled out all the stops and eased my nerves. I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to work with them. Any event, large or small, I'll be sure to reach out to them again. Seriously, everything they did for me was top notch, five stars over and over again!!

C&J catering was fantastic! Sam was an amazing contact person from start to finish during the entire planning process. She was so sweet and accommodating even when we downsized from 230 people to 25 due to Covid. She always calmed me down and tried her best to make sure our day was perfect. As for our wedding day, the food was absolutely phenomenal! Everything was delicious, from our bacon wrapped meatloaf appitizer to our funfetti cannoli wedding cake. The staff was fantastic and always made sure our guests were happy. Thanks for everything!!!

No task too big

C&J catering hands down was incredible to work with. Planning a wedding is stressful but planning during a pandemic was stress x 1000 and C&J put us at ease. They were so accommodating, so flexible. Our guest count changed drastically and they were very accommodating. Our cocktail hour start time changed by 30 mins and they were ready to go with the new start time.
The food was delicious. My favorite was the crab stuffed chicken. The appetizers especially the mini crab cakes were delicious. Everything came out hot.
I asked them to do the cake as well and they took my vision and ran with it. It was everything that I could have imagined.
No task too big or too small for this company.

Best food ever

We hired C+J for our wedding catering. The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone was raving about the food. We also hired Danielle as our day of coordinator and she was AMAZING. She made our day so effortless and was constantly there whenever we needed her. We absolutely recommend C+J catering for your wedding. But even more, you should definitely hire Danielle as your day of coordinator.

They were great!!

We used C&J for our wedding at The Star Barn in Elizabethtown. They allowed me to customize anything I needed including needing a vegan kids option. Whenever I had a concern, they were right there with answers and fixed any issue I had. The plated meal the day of my wedding went off without a hitch and in no time at all. Everyone complimented the cocktail hour and Chrissy ran a tight ship on food, making sure everything was perfect! Contessa was our day of coordinator through them. I have never been more thankful for a person then I was for Contessa on our wedding day. If you are booking C&J, request Contessa (she is hands down freaking fabulous in every single way possible). My favorite phrase of my wedding day was, "Go find Tessa, she will take care of it". From blow drying my sister's dress when a drink got spilled on her to helping me get cleaned up at the end of the night, she was the best friend I didn't know I needed on that day!

Experience so far!

C&J Catering has been nothing but helpful from the start! With less than 100 days until my wedding, I have been sending non stop emails. All of my questions are answered either that day or by the next morning. It takes so much stress away! I’m glad they’re the exclusive catering company for the venue I picked!

Fantastic Service and Unforgettable Experience

C and J Catering did basically everything for our wedding- the catering, our cake/deserts, decor, and floral. Everything was more beautiful that I could have even imagined!! Our coordinator was Danielle Stoddard and she was absolutely OUTSTANDING!!!! Everything was basically my pintrest board come to life and everything I wanted she made happen! The day of, she was so wonderful and helpful and kept bring my husband and I drinks while we were on the dance floor! She was always there for me when I needed her and made everything truly perfect! Absolutely incredible team

C&J was everything and more than I could have hoped for for our big day! From the very beginning, the staff made us feel like family and were very professional, yet friendly, fun and organized - all of which were very important to us! The C&J staff works really well together from catering to coordinating - it really took the stress off of my husband and I during our bid day.
First - the catering/food was amazing. We were receiving compliments all night about how good the food was. We did family style so everything needed to come out hot - and they pulled it off effortlessly. They set up our dessert bar without any input from us (per my request) - and the table looked like a dream!
Now for my favorite, the wedding coordinator, Contessa...where do I even begin? I have been working with Contessa for over a year, mainly via email because we don't live in PA. Even when my wedding was still so far out, she was very responsive to my emails and was willing to jump on calls or Facetime to help me work through my planning. She is doing at least 2 weddings per weekend, yet still made a priority to make sure I knew that she was there for me. When it came time for my big day, she blew me away! I am a very type-A when it comes to being organized and thought that I was going to be very stressed the morning of, but I was not stressed at all, and that is all thanks to Contessa. She did everything I needed her to do to a T and is the reason that our day went so smoothly. All morning while myself and my bridesmaids were getting ready she was continually coming to check on me to make sure I was okay or if I needed anything and truly cared about making sure my day was special. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful she is. Without a doubt, I would recommend her, and the entire C&J staff to anyone getting married! I love C&J!

C & J did such a tremendous job at my daughter Diana's wedding which was held at Historic Acres of Hershey. They made the whole reception come together to complete the vision my daughter had. Guests found their tables by looking at window panes provided by C&J. The linens and china provided made the tables look so beautiful! The Bourbon and Bubbly Bar that was set up by them looked picture perfect. The appetizers were certainly a big hit and very tasty. The bartenders were very efficient and kept the drinks rolling. The food was served family style and was absolutely delicious. It was served hot, and there really were plenty of delectable choices for the guests. C&J also set up a very appealing s'mores bar for our guests. Our first coordinator became pregnant, and we were given 2 coordinators to take her place. Kristy and Danielle met with us on numerous occasions and were always available to answer questions. Kristy was simply amazing the evening of the reception. She was on top of all aspects of their responsibilities. She is truly a master at managing her staff and taking care of the guests. I would highly recommend using C&J to make a wedding dream come true.

C&J’s team is fantastic. They provided our food, cake, flowers, and day-of coordinator. We had fun working with them and they answered every question we had, even anticipated some issues we didn’t know to think about and planned for potential snags. Our wedding day turned out absolutely perfect thanks to them and we could relax knowing we were in such good hands! We used C&J Catering for our wedding at Ironstone Ranch. These people were amazing - from start to end. We first met with Contessa during our tour at Ironstone Ranch. She was super thorough and gave many ideas. We were assigned Courtney as our wedding coordinator and we had a blast with her every time we met with her! Sadly (but good for her!) she got promoted so we had to switch to Danielle. Danielle was such a sweetheart and so very helpful! She came into our planning process towards the end and it was like she had been there all along. I was so impressed with how she picked up where Courtney left off. She worked with me to make sure every detail was planned accordingly.

There are so many food options. We didn't even know what to choose! We finally narrowed it down for our tasting and we were not disappointed at all. The food was fabulous! We received compliments during our wedding about how good their dinners were.

AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! This team is incredible! We used them for catering, floral, and cake/ cupcakes! They sat down with us several times to make sure everything was correct and exactly how I wanted it! The food was absolutely amazing and great size portions! The cupcakes were delicious and the cake decoration was exactly how I had envisioned it! They were sure to add all the little touches I mentioned to make each thing unique. They were even very flexible with napkins and allowed me and my wedding party fold the napkins to save money, instead of having them do it! On the day we had rain in the early afternoon up till the ceremony and they worked with us to make sure we could still have it out side even though it meant moving the time back a little! This group of people is incredible and I would hands down recommend them to anyone! The flowers were gorgeous and the exact colors I was hoping for! We provided a lot of DIY things with a few of their stuff added in as decoration and they worked great with us to make sure everything would work nicely together and look uniform! I can't say enough for how great they were!

I have always heard wedding planning is soooo stressful but dealing with c&j has been the easiest thing I have ever done. I received many comments on how amazing the food was& couldn't be happier! The staff is extremely friendly and patient with any last minute changes. Evon & Alexis are amazing at what they do and I highly recommend them! Every penny was worth this company.

My daughter was married on September 4, 2016 at Moonstone Manor in Elizabethtown with C&J as the caterers. From our first meeting with Melissa at a Bridal Showcase, we knew we wanted to make an appointment with C&J. We spoke with her again at one of the venues we visited and were still convinced that this was the caterer we wanted.
The tasting was delicious! My daughter and her fiancé were thrilled with the choices and how wonderful everything tasted. Melissa allowed us to customize the menu and make changes several times! A week or so before the wedding, Melissa and Eileen met me at our venue and asked me a LOT of questions! I had thought I was pretty organized, but they pointed out all the little details I had forgotten and TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING! I was so relieved after that meeting. I knew that those women were going to take care of us wonderfully.
The day of the wedding Eileen realized that I had forgotten to order napkins for the reception! No problem, she said. She called C&J, and napkins were delivered. She also noted that one table lacked a flower arrangement, and she and Penny (the owner of Moonstone Manor) moved flowers from the ceremony site and artfully arranged them on the lonely table. No one could tell the difference. Eileen, who is as sweet as she is organized, and her staff were wonderful at the reception. The bartenders and waiters were efficient and professional, and the food was fabulous. My guests raved about everything.
I have two other daughters, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use C&J catering again. The price and the quality were extraordinary. Thank you, Eileen and Melissa. You made the day a great success.

My Husband and I got married back on November 13th at the Ironstone Ranch in Elizabethtown Pa. We used C and J catering for our caterer and loved everything they did for us. Contessa was my coordinator from the beginning and helped us with planning everything. She was amazing and so helpful. Very detail oriented and made sure we had everything we wanted!!! We also used Megan as our day of coordinator and we are so happy we did. She was more than amazing and we were so lucky to have her. She helped me make my vision come to life. She did more than I could have ever imagined and made our day even that much more special. I honestly don't know what we would have done if we did not have her to help us. Any bride and groom would be lucky to have both of them involved with their wedding!!!

C and J catering was contracted with us through our venue, The Ironstone Ranch. Carol Brown was our catering coordinator and she was fantastic!!! The food at our wedding was buffet style and excellent! Our guests could not say enough positive things about how good the food was! C and J also provided us with our linens and offered table arrangements, flowers and coordinating services for the day of the wedding if needed. All of the food was delicious from the appetizers at cocktail hour to the fantastic entrees and sides at our reception. They also boxed up our leftover food and sent it home with us after the wedding so nothing was wasted. The leftovers were excellent as well! This is a very skilled and experienced catering company that did a fabulous job on our wedding day!

C&J Catering did an outstanding job at our 9/12/15 wedding at Ironstone Ranch. Natalie Maldonado was my wedding coordinator, and she was fantastic. She was very prompt in returning emails, helped me plan everything out, and listened to each of my requests. For one, I knew I wanted long, wooden farm tables for the reception, so Natalie helped find me a vendor who sold them and set up an appointment for us to go see them. We appreciated that C&J offered us a taste test (basically a whole meal so come hungry - haha) before our wedding to ensure that we were happy with our meal selections. Everything was delicious and very well prepared! We had a walk-through with C&J at the wedding venue ~1 month before the wedding. During the walk-through, I went over everything for the ceremony and reception with the C&J staff. The staff really helped me to piece everything together, which really helped to ease my stress! The morning of the wedding there was another event at the venue, therefore, the C&J staff kindly set up all of my ceremony and reception decorations for me. We were met by unanticipated rain the day of the wedding, but C&J took the initiative to find great ways to use the decor that was intended to be placed outside, inside. They provided the dinnerware, utensils, glassware, linens, food, and non-alcoholic beverages for my wedding. Despite the food being displayed on a buffet for guests, the C&J kindly staff served my husband and I at our head table and catered to us throughout the night. The food was exceptional and the guests were very pleased. No request was ever too much for the C&J staff, as they transformed the cake table into a s'mores table and later a snack table. They really did a wonderful job setting up and tearing down everything quickly! I HIGHLY recommend C&J Catering to anyone planning a wedding. Our wedding day would not have turned out as smoothly as it did without their services. We cannot THANK YOU enough!!

9.26.15 was the BEST day of our lives. We had our wedding at Iron Stone Ranch and used C&J catering for our food and flowers/decor. As someone with a type A personality, I tend to have high expectations. C&J met and exceeded every one of our expectations. The staff members are all so professional and amazing to work with- Alexis & Evon answered every question (there were many) we had and helped us create an amazing day. Evon was our coordinator for most of our planning time and she always made us feel confident that everything would amazing. She is a gem and was such a pleasure to work with. Eileen was so great on our wedding day and made sure that the plans Evon made were executed smoothly. The food was some of the best wedding food ever had (said our guests!) and the service was top notch. Melissa, Pam & Jill from the floral & decor team were amazing. They turned our vision into an amazing reality. We got SO many compliments on our flowers!! If we had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. THANK YOU SO MUCH C&J CATERING!!!!!!!

C&J Catering was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. They helped us plan a meal that was delicious and crowd pleasing without breaking the budget. C&J Catering offered remarkable service for my wedding. Not only was our food and cake delicious (guest continue to rave about the food) but the services offered by C&J made wedding planning easy. We were able to get table beautiful mahogany table rentals through C&J, a slushy machine, and an awesome crew of people to work with. Alexis was there to answer every question I had for two years worth of planning and Carol stepped in to help make the vision of the day come to life! C&J lit our reception candles (and there were a lot), placed our favors and made sure that we had everything just the way we wanted. Phenomenal from start to beginning. To say it rained on our wedding day would be an understatement...It down poured. Mud everywhere, on everyone and that didn't stop Contessa and her team from making our day so unique and special. She made sure I was informed through the entire process, even the little things (which I had no interest in, I was the complete opposite of Bridezilla). The food was such a hit with our entire 210 guests, the best wedding food they've ever eaten! I would highly recommend Contessa to coordinate the wedding of your dreams! She is so great at what she does, and I feel like I had a best friend during the entire process. I can't thank her and C&J catering enough for all they've done!!

C&J Catering provided us with a coordinator who made planning very easy!!!
Natalie was also there the day of our wedding and made sure everything was taken care of! (the day was completely stress free for us! thank you Natalie!)
The food was delicious and many guests expressed that they enjoyed it.

We also used C&J for flowers and I can't thank Melissa enough for bringing my vision to life. Melissa and her team created beautiful florals for me (bouquets, boutonniere, mother corsages, table centerpieces and ceremony decor). Her and her team also went above and beyond and made sure the venue was decorated exactly how i had imagined. The minute I walked into the venue the morning of the wedding and saw the venue decorated, it took my breath away. I highly recommend them!!! We used C&J catering for our wedding reception. Prior to the wedding, Contessa was wonderful helping us figure out what we wanted and communicating back and forth to make sure we had everything taken care of. She even helped set up minor decorations the day of the wedding. The food - it was amazing!! Our guests could not stop commenting on how wonderful the food was. I told my husband that the food tasted better the day of the wedding and I didn't even think that was possible. We also used C&J for our wedding cake topper and dessert station and the cake topper was beautiful and the cupcakes were delicious! I only have wonderful things to say. We used C&J Catering for our wedding this past May at the Peter Allen House in Dauphin. The food was excellent and so many of our guests are still commenting on how good the pork was! We worked with Abby and we couldn’t have been happier with all the help she provided before the wedding as well as all the hard work she did on the day of the wedding. Our initial meetings were with Contessa, she is first rate. As our reception was admittedly a small event, a newer coordinator took over our account. While she was slightly less responsive, she still did an outstanding job. Contessa told us their chiefs grow tired of making the same entrees event after event and like a challenge. We asked for some Indian dishes that were not on the suggested menu, they rose to the challenge. The chiefs listened and made the minor adjustments we requested, and the food at our wedding reception was fantastic. We received numerous compliments and praises from our guests who traveled from all over the US and have travel the world.

Since our wedding, I have heard this was the best wedding food, at least a dozen times (but honestly it has been fifty)! We went with a less traditional family style BBQ dinner and it was a huge hit. C&J Catering nailed it with their beef brisket and other assortments. We highly recommend Jamie and her staff for your wedding catering needs as it will be well worth it. C&J was easy to work with and flexible with our needs.

The main reason of wedding reception was such an amazing time was because of C& J Catering!!! Hands down. The recommendations for vendors, the customer service, the food, the employees, etc. etc. etc.
We had talked with another cater/vendor before and realized because of our budget, that it was way too much for not enough value. Then we got in touch with C&J and my wife (fiancé at the time) loved what she heard and how more personal they were for us with the flexibility and other values that they offered for us. We were able to stay in contact with them all the way up to our reception date without any hassle or stress. Each time they assured what we had to do and what they were going to be doing, it helped to have that constant assurance throughout the planning process especially with so much going on.
The day of our reception, the décor of our location (Peter Allen House) was set up so nicely by the staff that it was just another great reason not to worry about the attention to detail, because they had it down so well.

To put it bluntly, hiring Megan to be our day of coordinator proved to be one of the best decisions we made. We will fully admit that we were a little hesitant to spend the money on a day of coordinator (considering the catering company already included a catering coordinator), but we knew we needed Megan after the very first communication with her.
We especially knew we were in great hands after seeing how organized and decisive Megan was during our on site meeting a month before the wedding. While I don’t want to just recommend Megan for Ironstone Ranch, because she would be great anywhere, we were thrilled how familiar she was with the Ranch, Mark (the owner) and C&J catering. Megan herself was married at Ironstone. I could almost see the pre-wedding stress melting away from my future wife the longer her and Megan talked and planned.
We had our close friend marry us, so we did not have a clergy member to run our rehearsal and make sure everyone knew their responsibilities. We asked Megan to run our rehearsal, which she graciously agreed to do. We asked Megan to be a strong presence in keeping both the rehearsal and wedding day activities moving an organized manner (rather than be just a suggestive, “push over”). One thing we were impressed with was that even with being her decisive and directive per our request, Megan was still very caring, funny and sweet.
How can we even describe how clutch she was on the day of the wedding? Megan showed up early, made sure all of our vendors had everything they needed, helped us set things up (and clean up as well) and was even there to give us a pep talk when she saw our stress rising. She handled stuff we would never in a million years had even thought of, including corralling relatives for pictures, getting us some cocktail hour appetizers, making sure we had drinks for the toasts, working with the DJ to make sure all of the wedding stuff (announcements, speeches, dances, cake cutting, etc.) happened seamlessly, etc.

I had the pleasure of using C&J Catering for my catering and flowers for my wedding. I could not have been happier. We started out having Sara Jane as my event coordinator, who is so nice and does not make you feel pressured at all, when we first started planning my wedding. During the middle of my planning process we had to switch coordinators due to a few staff members having babies in September. We were switched over to Desiree and it was like she had been my coordinator since the beginning. The transition was great and Desiree was awesome to work with. Melissa was my florist for the wedding and everything was so beautiful. I can't say enough good things about this company. They made sure my wedding day was perfect and flawless. We used C&J catering, florals, and coordination for our wedding this September and couldn't be happier with our choice! Every aspect of our wedding was perfection from start to finish and we owe that to C&J.

Megan was our day of coordinator and we felt completely at ease knowing that all of the details were in her hands. During the rehearsal she was serious and task oriented but she's also hilarious and fun. Thanks to her organization and attention to detail we were able to be carefree and enjoy the day with our family and friends. Everything went off without a hitch.

When I first met with Melissa to talk about florals and design for our wedding, I knew immediately that she would be able to capture my vision perfectly. From the bouquets to the centerpieces, the aisle runner - everything looked better than I could've dreamed. We received so many compliments on the decor, many guests said our wedding looked like it was out of a magazine and was very "pintrest-worthy".

The food was amazing, and again we received many compliments - guests said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. When I began menu planning with Jamie she was able to make great suggestions based off of our likes and dislikes and honestly after the tasting we had a hard time making decisions because everything was so delicious. Nicole did our catering coordinating and she was so nice and very on top of everything. Cocktail hour and dinner service progressed smoothly.

Unlike with other vendors we had considered, the staff at C&J really made us feel like they cared about making our important day special. They were prompt at returning emails and remembered details we had talked about previously. Our contract with C&J was itemized line by line which was really helpful to keep things within budget

C&J helped to make our wedding the most amazing day and if we had to plan it all over again we would choose C&J 10 times out of 10.

Awesome Awesome Awesome is all I have to say about these guys! Megan Gingrich was an awesome wedding coordinator and well worth the extra money to relieve strss off you the day of your wedding! She helped us from when we started planning all the way till the day of. She helped me find different vendors like photographers, videographers, florists, baker, ice sculpture people, etc for our wedding. We went for our food tasting and the food was so good we couldn't decide on what our menu was going to be! Everything was great and it was so hard to choose just a few things that we had to add extras to the plate! They made our cupcakes and cake also which was awesome! I highly reccommend the Salted Caramel cupcakes and the oreo cream cupcakes! No one compares to the ones they make around here for sure! Not only that but Megan made us a to go box for my husband and I with cupcakes and some leftover food since we didn't get to eat much at our wedding. She also brought appetizers and drinks down to the wedding party when they started taking pictures to ensure we didn't miss cocktail hour! Not to mention ran to get me water when taking a thousand pictures and held onto my lipstick for the night since I clearly didn't have any pockets! She was amazing I can't say enough about her! If you have a chance request her to be your coordinator!! Awesome company, awesome staff, awesome food, awesome cake! Well worth the money spent. And everyone at the wedding said cocktail hour and food ran smoothly and not too far apart like most weddings when you keep wondering when is the food going to come... THANK YOU!!

Food was delicious and reasonably priced, can you ask for more? I was provided with a wedding planner who was very attentive and responded to needs/questions in a very timely manner. Although I did not use other services for my wedding, they provide floral arrangements and decor - so you can leave all of the work up to them and they will provide you with a flawless wedding (in terms of food and decor:))

We used C&J Catering for our wedding at Ironstone Ranch and they were so awesome! One thing that is so impressive about them is how flexible they are about the type of food and budget. I worked closely with Contessa throughout the planning process and she was always amazing at capturing the slightly-more-elegant BBQ feel we wanted (with a Philly touch!) we wanted for our ranch wedding with awesome treats like pulled pork sliders on cheddar scones, mini Philly cheesesteaks, and delicious family-style BBQ food. The food was all so delicious and not your typical "wedding food." We are still getting compliments on it!

The people at C&J are absolutely wonderful to work with. We had the privilege of working with three C&J staff - Contessa, Natalie, and Sara-Jane - and there were all so friendly, helpful, detail-oriented, and incredibly competent. My groom and I are both very indecisive and they made the whole process so easy.

One piece of advice - definitely spring for their day-of coordinator! We had Sara-Jane coordinating our wedding day and she was INCREDIBLE. Everyone involved in the wedding commented on how she was the best wedding coordinator they'd ever seen - sweet, fun, and so on top of every little detail! She made the day flow so seamlessly, even with tons of mishaps like pouring rain and a lost wedding ring (long story...). She has the best attitude and somehow managed to be both unobtrusive and completely accessible. As one of my bridesmaids said, "Every time I started thinking we needed something, she would magically appear right next to me!"

When we booked our wedding at Ironstone Ranch, we ended up booking with C&J just by default, which turned out to be one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding. Everyone at C&J was friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable.

We decided to go with their ‘budget’ option for our dinner, but it definitely didn’t taste like the budget meal! My husband talked about the food our entire two-hour ride home from our tasting, and couldn’t wait to eat the leftovers the day after the wedding.

We had a few guests at our wedding with very severe food allergies, and they worked with us to make sure that every guest had a delicious meal for dinner. They also provided a vegetarian option for our few vegan guests, and kids meals for the kiddos!

Our coordinator, Sara Jane, went out of her way to ensure that our day was absolutely perfect. Besides all the help she offered before the wedding, giving us ideas about how to decorate and even throwing in a few extras for us, she was with us the day of the wedding, making sure we had a few minutes to sit down and eat, ensuring we had drinks, etc. It isvery evident how much she cares about her job and the couples she works with; she was such a pleasure to work with!

Overall, we both loved C&J and would recommend them to anyone!

Everyone was so easy to work with and friendly! They were all incredibly helpful with so many aspects of my wedding! They're not cheap but DEFINITLY worth the price you pay (which still isn't that expensive), EVERYONE commented on how great the food was, and it truely was DELICIOUS!

As this process began from several states away, C&J and Contessa were fantastic to work with to plan my wedding. It didn't matter how many emails I sent, Contessa was always quick to respond and work with me to get everything just right. When I was finally able to make a visit to the offices, Contessa and their chef went out of their way to prepare a tasting for me because that's what other potential brides would get at a bridal show. Since I was living in another state at the time and couldn't come to shows, they wanted to give me the same treatment. NONE of the other caterers I spoke to or visited even made an attempt to give me the same service. Every single cent we spent for the services C&J provided was more than worth it. I highly recommend using them to anyone - no matter how elaborate or simple your wedding reception.

I cannot say enough great things about C&J Catering! Contessa worked with us in planning our event and did an absolutely amazing job! She is extremely talented at what she does. Jamie was there for our special day and helped make everyone in our bridal party feel comfortable and provided us with tips and advice. Jamie is an incredible person and anyone would be lucky to have her as their wedding coordinator! The food was to die for! We still have guests telling us how amazing everything was. C&J has the greatest staff and I have heard nothing but amazing things about them. I would recommend them to anyone getting married or holding an event. They are the best!

"Simply put, C&J catering is the best. After bouncing around the region in search of a good, honest caterer, we finally discovered C&J. From our first consultation to the end of our reception, the entire staff went above and beyond to accommodate our every need (even when we had uninvited extras show up for our tasting!) The entire experience was easy and enjoyable. There was not one time when we doubted their ability. We were married at Sweet Arrow Lake in Pine Grove, which was then a new venue for them. They worked seamlessly with us and the facility manager to coordinate everything from the load-in of the tables and chairs to break down and clean up. Everything about our experience,,,the food, the service, the price...all outstanding. Do yourself a favor and sign the contract, they pretty much take care of the rest. C&J Catering provided outstanding catering services for our wedding, we attended several tastings and were able to tweek some items to better accomadate out guests with no hassels. They demonstrated their vast experiance by providing excellent advise on all phases of the reception. Best part is they fit our budget (which wasn't alot) but came off looking like we spent a ton. I absolutely loveeeeee what C&J did for us at our wedding. They are sooo talented! They created such an awesome atmosphere with the centerpieces. Their food was amazing. AND the staff have to be some of the nicest people around. They really love what they do. C&J goes above the call of duty but still stays witin your means. I would recommend C&J over and over again. C&J Catering was an outstanding find! We truly attribute the beauty of our wedding weekend to them! Jamie Berger is an amazing wedding planner and also owner of the company. We hired her as "day of wedding planner" and she was absolutely worth every penny...not to mention that when the owner of the company is working your site, so is the "A" team from the company. Jamie was amazing at running our rehearsal the night before (rain at the rehearsal for an outdoor ceremony and she figured out how and where to change the rehearsal to without me having to worry about it at all), she was on-site basically the entire Saturday of the wedding and was back early Sunday morning to afternoon as she ran our brunch...I'm not sure when she slept!

C&J staff is wonderful. Highly courteous, flexible and professional. Our guests are still talking about all of the amazing food! The food was always the right temperature and always kept "looking" appealing - even in steamy July! As I stood in the tent waiting to walk towards the ceremony and down the aisle, I was truly touched by how many of the C&J staff were excited for me! These employees are definitely in the right field, they all worked so hard to make my wedding day amazing.

Melissa Pearl did an amazing job with our flowers. She went above and beyond, adding "extra" beautiful touches in several areas and not charging us for these.

Marlo was fantastic and very reachable, we rented many items through C&J and she was great about checking and re-checking tableclothe sizes and colors, glass types, etc.

I have to say that I also love that C&J is a woman-owned business and that most of the leaders in the business are females. It's important to me to support woman-owned businesses and without reservation I can do so with C&J!

Picking a caterer for our wedding seemed daunting. We talked to several companies but C&J stood out for their high quality foods, creative ideas and personable staff. If we had to pick a caterer again, we’d pick C&J.

Attention to detail is a C&J forte! The entire C&J team got to know us and our style which was very special because they were able to customize everything to our liking.

Jamie Berger is a stellar day-of coordinator! She effortlessly led the ceremony rehearsal the day before, created the wedding day timeline and carried it out with precision and ease. She was also a step ahead of us and literally predicted our every need. Someone with her experience is invaluable on your wedding day.

Melissa Pearl arranged breath-taking flowers for wedding. Her creative eye for detail and beauty were just perfect for the type of flower arrangements we wanted. The blooms were huge, fresh and lasted through the entire day and night. The flowers were more than we dreamed of and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed them.

The food served at our wedding was delicious! Many guests said it was the best beef tenderloin, crab cakes and vegetables they had ever had at a wedding!

We did not have to worry about anything at all during the wedding day set up because we truly trusted their entire staff. And, as expected, everything turned out just as we hoped. Everything was set up just as we described with some surprise additions.

The staff at C&J is easy to work with, very polite and professional. They have great ideas and recommendations and work well with each other and the bride and groom.

C&J created a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere for us, our family and guests at our wedding. We highly recommend C&J to couples looking for a caterer, event coordinator and florist for their special day.

C&J Catering did an amazing job catering my wedding! Everything looked beautiful and they took care of every detail (like decorating the mantle in our reception hall). They did everything we asked, such as arranging a beer pairing with our dinner (which they had never done before), bringing us appetizers while we took pictures, and decorating tables perfectly. They were open to any suggestions we had, and also had many of their own when we were unsure of how to proceed.
We received many compliments on the food! We had a family style meal and it turned out amazing. They made cheesesteak egg rolls just for us (we're from Philadelphia area), and everybody loved them! Out of 120 guests we didn't have a single complaint.
Contessa and Marlo were both very accessible via e-mail and phone. I received very quick responses every time I had a concern or question. During the wedding, every request I had was completed immediately.
I would recommend C&J catering to anybody!

We used C&J Catering and C&J Floral for our big day. I'll start by saying C&J Catering does it all: tons of meal options to choose from, they chill your alcohol prior to cocktail hour/reception, they provide set-up and clean-up, they include linens, napkins, serving ware, etc., and in our particular case - they went above and beyond by providing us a wedding cake, baked and delivered within hours, after the one we had brought with us didn't survive the trip. The food was delicious, and immediately upon my groom and I sitting down at our table, we had full plates delivered to us so we could eat, eat and eat. Natalie, our catering liaison, was pleasant and knowledgeable throughout the whole process which gave us the confidence we needed while planning our wedding. Moving on to C&J Floral: overly thrilled with what we received. The bouquets were beautiful - I'm not sure if I've ever seen such beautiful, full and firm hydrangeas as the ones in our bouquets and centerpieces. My bridal bouquet was gorgeous, exactly what I envisioned. The sprays on our ceremony altar were perfect, and the staff re-purposed them to our head table for the reception which we were so happy with. Leah was a dream to work with and she really nailed exactly what I had in mind when I described my vision to her. Although we didn't utilize it, C&J also offers wedding coordinators which just proves the point that they really know the business and they will be there to walk you through every single planning aspect you can think of. Our wedding was at Ironstone Ranch, and their exclusive caterer was C&J. They were fantastic! The food was excellent, and Courtney--our wedding coordinator-- was amazing. She helped us through the process from start to finish. The food was delicious, and I loved that EVERYTHING (except the alcohol) was included in their price. It was so nice not having hidden fees for table linens or glassware or any other little, last minute things. Overall, we were totally satisfied with the services provided to us!

Food was fantastic! Service was impeccable. Every person I interacted with on staff was nice, accommodating, and helpful. They assign you an event coordinator that helps you to plan your day and timing, sits with you for your food tasting, and will go through the ins and outs of planning decor. Natalie was great! She was super helpful and ran the day of perfectly. At times, it did take several weeks for her to respond to some of my emails but they were never especially urgent matters. Anytime I needed a more immediate communication, she responded quickly and helpfully.

My husband and I were recently married at the Peter Allen House and worked with C&J catering, the exclusive caterer for the venue. From the beginning, C&J catering was extremely professional and easy to work with. Living on the west coast, my husband and I were very constrained in how frequently we could meet with the caterers or visit the venue; regardless, they fit us in for tastings during the holiday season and did a good job educating us about the other services provided by the company. They were never pushy and worked with us when we decided to DIY a lot of the decor items. To make the wedding day run more smoothly, we hired Contessa, a Day-of coordinator at C&J catering. She was indispensable over the months leading up to the wedding, answering all of our questions and helping out with a lot of the planning details. On the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond!! She handled it all! She helped setup decor my parents made, finalized the details of our signature cocktail, made sure every aspect of the ceremony and reception ran smoothly, and provided us with drinks and appetizers when we were busy with photos during cocktail hour. She even prepared our dinner plates for us! These are just the things I observed, not to mention all the behind-the-scenes things that kept the night moving slowly. The food C&J catering provided was also awesome! Everything I had was delicious. Finally, the entire catering staff was extremely attentive and really added to the experience. We received so many compliments about the evening from our guests. Excellent value, very professional! Do not hesitate to book!

C&J catered, and provided my flowers and the day of coordinating for my wedding two weeks ago--and it one of the best decisions I made. Contessa, Courtney, and Pam were extremely easy to work with, very flexible, and went above and beyond to make the day what I wanted it to be with as little stress on my part. Pam did a fantastic job with the flowers --they were INCREDIBLE and exactly what I wanted but even better than I imagined! The entire day was understood and executed by the whole team for the exact feel and look that fit my husband and I so well. And the food! Every dish was as delicious as our tasting day, hot, and provided to the guests very quickly. I had people coming up to me telling me how amazing the food was. I will absolutely recommend C&J catering and florist to anyone I know getting married. Very fun and easy to work with, extremely professional, and the give you what you want with the highest quality.
Contessa was our day-of coordinator and she was downright amazing. She made sure all of our wedding party was happy, appropriately dressed and in the right spots at the right time, answered peoples questions and made sure the ceremony went exactly as we planned. At the reception, she made sure my husband and I ate our dinner while it was hot, brought us hors-de-ouvres from our cocktail hour that we would have missed, made sure we were having the time our lives while coordinating with the photographer and DJ for timing of events and handling any issues behind the scenes so we didn't have to think about anything but enjoying ourselves. This was probably the best money I spent for the wedding. I felt so carefree and able to be present during my own wedding that the entire day felt magical. Guests (and myself) commented on how smooth, personal, and magical the entire day was. I attribute this to the excellence and attention of C&J's team. I would highly recommend using C&J for your wedding--catering, florist, and coordinators. Superb.

C & J catering did an amazing job for our daughter and son in laws wedding – meeting with us; answering a thousand questions; offering ideas, etc.
Evon's smile and enthusiasm is contagious and suited our daughter and son in laws personalities to a tee. She was such a big help the day before the wedding telling us what we needed to do and teaching us to fold napkinsand then the day of the wedding she was with us all day helping it all come together. Thank you to you and your staff for being so flexible with the cocktail hour changes due to the rain and helping us all go with the “flow”. Also I appreciate you being sure all the finishing touches were in place when the reception finally started – windows outside, chalkboards in place, candles all lit, cake table looking amazing, jars being re-stocked, popcorn being filled, lanterns put out and lit – the list goes on and on. I was truly able to sit back and relax and enjoy the night and not have to worry about anything.
Everyone was so pleasant and helpful throughout the day and we truly appreciated it all.
Thanks again for everything – it was a dream come true for Heather and Joel and all of us.

They are great! They were awesome at fitting a menu into our budget and very open to new ideas and mixing and matching their menus! They even offer the chance to do a buffet price with a served meal with only adding on a minimal service fee which was amazing for the budget conscious yet elegant wedding theme we are going for! C & J catering is amazing! I hired them for my October 2014 wedding in Harrisburg/Hershey. Desiree was awesome throughout the entire process. For many months we communicated over the phone, through email, and in person to go over all the details for our wedding. She helped me so much with everything I needed to know. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly the way I wanted and what would work best for the our venue. We were able to make our package so customized for what we wanted and that was so important if you are on a budget or needing specific things (especially since our venue didn't provide any vendors). They made it so easy to work with the venue we chose which was a barn. The food was AMAZING and that's all everyone was talking about. Our bar package was so customizable too, we were able to have a mix of different things since we provided the alcohol. They transitioned so perfectly throughout the night with cocktail hour, toasts, dinner service, cake cutting/serving, the coffee station, etc. They also provided rentals for our cocktail tables, linens, china and a really cool bar setup. The rest of their staff at our reception was so great too- very professional, and organized and everything ran so smoothly! So so glad they were a part of our wedding. First, I'm the proud mother of the bride - the 2nd hardest person to please at a wedding.
C & J Catering transformed the 71,000 sf Antique Auto Museum in Hershey into a three-tiered gala for my daughter's New Year's Eve (12.31.11), 250-person, over-the-top wedding.
When guests arrived they were greeted with a human table with pre-poured glasses of Moscato. The decor in the lobby was simple and elegant as to not compete with the already-in-place cars.
In the rotunda, they designed a custom alter / backdrop and made the large and open space very chapel-like.
After the 6:30 PM ceremony, guests traveled to the main lobby, car-viewing area and were treated to incredible appetizers, including mini cheese steak subs, crab cakes, etc. The decor throughout this level was amazing, however, C & J's true passion for the unexpected and creative, was saved for the lower level where guests dined, danced and brought in the New Year.
C&J started with cement walls and floors and transformed this space into a New Year's Eve extravaganza that could only rival Time's Square in brilliance, passion and precision. Only the pictures can truly tell this story, albeit the words first-class, signature, unique, bedazzling, unbelievable and brilliant were on everyone's mind. The talented and seasoned culinary team wowed guests with beef tenderloins at carving stations, mashed potato bars, salad bars and a trendy noodle bar. Short lines and lots of conversations. As the parents, we've taken a lot of credit for making this event memorable for so many people, but the night was owned by C&J. They are remarkable, talented, personable individuals who have discovered greatness.

My Dream Wedding

C&J Catering not only met our needs, but helped partner with my fiancé and I to join our vision and execute it with excellence! From the day we met with Andrea Beshara, one of the C&J members, and discussed all things wedding and dreaming about our special day, to the moment we exited the venue after dancing the night away, C&J was on our team! The way they listened to our vision and executed our day, exceeded my expectations! I had changed things at the last minute and they adapted like it was no big deal. They were efficient, detailed, beyond helpful, fun, and even offered their creative input when asked! C&J guided me along each step of the way and made the "heavy load" of planning a dream wedding feel easy peasy... I would recommend them to any big event/wedding/meeting. Thank you C&J!

Phenomenal Food and Service

C&J catering assisted us in putting together our dream wedding from over 1500 miles away. They were able to cater to our dietary restrictions and the food was incredible. They catered our rehearsal dinner, lunch the day of and our reception meal and people are still talking about how delicious it all was. We need to find another event to hire them for and HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

C&J Catering comes hand in hand with Ironstone Ranch where we celebrated our wedding. Little did we know that on the day we booked our venue and C&J Catering that those individuals would become so near and dear during the planning process. C&J Catering provides catering and wedding planning services as well as day of coordinating services, floral, decor services and more. Each individual we worked with throughout the planning process was consistently friendly, patient, and caring as well as professional, knowledgeable, and hard working. Melissa F., Evon, Alexis, Jill, Carol, and additionally Megan and Melissa P. (who have since left the company) are amazing! I cannot speak highly enough of each person. They each went above and beyond to make our wedding vision come to life! Evon was our diligent, organized, spectacular catering coordinator! She made sure that our food service on Friday (rehearsal dinner and welcome party) and Saturday (cocktail hour with extra food, dinner, smores bar, candy apple bar, cookie table, barista bar) for 150 and 200+ guests was fantastic! I don't know how she does it! The behind the scenes workers on the day of from the chefs to the bartenders and servers are great! Everything, each aspect of our wedding day, came together beautifully and exceeded our expectations! We received many compliments about it all! We really appreciate all that they did to bring our wedding vision to life!

Day of Coordinator: Hiring a day of coordinator was worth every penny while working with C&J Catering. Early on, there were company changes so Melissa graciously volunteered to be my wedding day coordinator as we had already established a relationship. She reached out to me on more than one occasion to let me know she was available if I had questions, concerns, or just needed to talk. I would definitely recommend C & J Catering for anyone's wedding. I wouldn't say the entire process was seamless and stress-free, but they did a really great job in the end.

We had a buffet dinner and appetizers, which a lot of my guests said was the best wedding food they've ever had. Everything was really tasty and still hot!

I also really recommend them for wedding flowers. They did my bouquet, as well as the bridesmaid's and the boutienneres and corsages. They were so beautiful and they worked really well within my budget! It was so nice to be able to be able to only work with one vender for both food and flowers.

They were also really flexible with changes to the contract. At the last minute, we realized we forgot cake cutters and champagne flutes and they took care of that the night before!

The value is great too. We discussed my budget when we met and I kind of realized that it was a little low for what we wanted. They really helped me figure out things to cut, but also things that were worth paying a little more for. I was a little shocked by how much table/chair rentals are, but I never felt like they were taking advantage of me.

All in all, they really helped me have a great wedding day and I would definitely use them again in the future.

I would definitely recommend C&J for catering services. Our choice in caterer was one of the decisions that made the biggest impact on our event and I'm so glad we went with C&J.

Communication before the event was very good, not perfect, but very good. I worked with Marlo and for the most part I enjoyed working with her. She gave me the impression a few times she may be working too many events but in the end she was an effective liason and many of the specifics that we outlined for the wedding were executed. One example of something that was missed was that I asked for there to be some appetizers and a bottle of champagne for my husband and I after the ceremony and unfortunately it wasn't done. However, she is knowledgeable and she made great suggestions about what type of dinner service would work for our wedding as well as specifics on set up of the venue.

The wedding venue looked beautiful and that included C&J's set up. They did a great job with the food buffet, cocktail hour set up, and carving station. I believe many members of the team collaborated on this including Melissa. The food was very good and the staff was extremely professional and helpful; they brought me a heaping plate of food right after I sat down and the bar ran efficiently all night.

Collectively, the company really is excellent and provided a great meal and professional staff for my event. There were a few hiccups along the road but I expected that to be the case - putting together such a large event is complicated and the important things were done well.

Melissa from C&J also provided the wedding party flowers and they were perfection. She listened to what I was looking for and did such an amazing job executing it. I loved, loved, loved them all and really could not have been happier. She delivered them to my home right on time and it was a great experience working with her on the flowers. She was also present at the wedding and I believe helped out tremendously with everything.

The quality of C&J catering is great - they allowed us to taste numerous types of food and take our time in making our decision of what we'd like to provide on our wedding day. Everyone raved about the food after our wedding and we're still hearing about it! Only slight drawback is the final headcount is due before a lot of my other friends final headcounts were when they got married, which made it annoying when some people changed their minds and we ended up paying for some extra meals because we were unable to change it. Other than that, great service and food!

We worked with Melissa Pearl at C&J Catering for our ceremony and reception decorations, including flowers. She was extremely pleasant to work with, and very helpful in trying to find exactly what we were looking for. She was also able to make some last minute adjustments and was really nice about it! The two spaces - ceremony and reception - looked outstanding! Our guests commented quite a few times on the elegance and beauty of the design. We were very happy with the final results.

Staff great food and cake never again

The chicken was beyond dry… and we tried to cut our cake and couldn’t they left the cardboard or wood or something in there. All we got was icing. The staff on the other hand was absolutely amazing! Great staff but as far as food and cake go somewhere else. We unfortunately didn’t have an option to find someone else.
