C'est La Vie was our Wedding DJ for our wedding this January 2024. Working with Komlan, DJ Othniel and DJ Jakob was wonderful. They provided a great experience from planning to the day of! Our wedding day brought a big snowstorm, but the snow didn't impact the fun our guests had thanks to C'est La Vie!

Best Wedding DJ in Madison
Working with Komlan and Dylan was just the best. Their quality and service was excellent from our first consultation call, through many follow-up meetings and planning sessions, and most importantly on the day-of. They led with professionalism and followed with a proper party. We had a wonderful time getting to know both DJs and were impressed with their attention to detail and ability to cater to our every need. The setlist was a perfect adaptation to our preferences and every game or announcement we asked for came off without a hitch. They both were kind to our guests and other vendors. It was clear they were having a great time during the wedding as well. WE COULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH. Madison Best DJs Hands Down!
Music was extremely important for us and brought the best out of us on the dance floor! Our friends and families still talk about DJ Dylan to this day! Thank you so much for making our wedding a memorable one! We added the photo booth last minute and they were able to provide it (great prints with a beautiful scrapbook). We could have asked for more! They took care of our wedding the way we wanted! They followed all the requests we asked and on the day of the wedding followed up with every single details! Music was the biggest part for us since our guests had different music preferences. But DJ Komlan was amazing at getting everyone to the dance floor and making sure everyone was having a great time with the music and song selection! We also had the Uplighting service and was so happy Komlan suggested it for our venue. It made such a great difference and provided a great ambiance! We are so glad we booked C'est La Vie Events!

I booked C'est La Vie Events last minute due to my original DJ being sick. They delivered big time and incredibly way more than I expected! DJ Dylan was amazing, and his mixes were insane!!! He kept the dance floor packed and bumping all night! Thank you Thank you DJ Jakob and C'est La Vie Events for saving our wedding!!! Book these guys the second you have the chance!!! We met DJ Jakob and Komlan at the Madison Winter Bridal Show at the Alliant Energy Center, and we knew right away they were the DJs we needed! They were super friendly and fun to talk to and most importantly did not pressure us in signing anything. The best part about meeting them at the show is that they had amazing (over the top if you ask us) packages only for the show! We book the DJ service which came with free ceremony music, and a free 3-hour photo booth. The communication was great; the music was so much fun during the dance party! DJ Jakob was our DJ and we couldn't have asked for more! He fit our style and was available whenever we had questions or needed to set up a zoom call. Best DJ company in town!

C'est La Vie Events team was amazing from start to end! They delivered every step of the way throughout the planning process and killed it on the dance floor! We worked with DJ Komlan and we were fortunate to have him as our DJ as well :-). My husband and I were completely satisfied and had the best time with our guests! The songs selections were unbelievable, every time we wanted to take a break, we came right back to the dance floor! We had the DJ with ceremony music and the photo booth services. The photo booth was such a hit for our guests, and they had an attendant present the entire time. The pictures came out so well and we loved the scrapbook that came with it! Great services, extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and they offer great packages. We plan on recommending them to all our engaged friends!

Komlan and Dylan lit up the night! The music was so personalized, and Komlan knew just what to throw on to get the crowd on the floor. We even had a three man dance rendition to the Backstreet Boys. I don’t think the floor was ever empty, which is saying a LOT. Dylan was handling the photo booth, which was elegantly draped in gold cloth. I don’t usually see those get used a lot at events, but there was a line for this thing all night! The props were spectacular, and we had so much fun looking through everyone’s snapshots. We got a book with printed copies and a digital file as well. Such a great value for what we paid. Komlan was very responsive with emails throughout, and had such a great energy. The week before the wedding I was really stressed, but when we did our walkthrough call with him I felt so comfortable and confident because I knew we were taken care of. Absolutely would book with him again!

Komlan from C'Est La Vie was the DJ for our wedding and it was absolutely the best night ever! The perfect DJ and the perfect wedding night. C'Est La Vie provided DJ service, ceremony service, and uplighting. Again everything was perfect. Komlan was early to the event, perfectly on time for everything throughout the night, super happy and excited with good energy the whole night, handled requests from guests and very specific requests for music from us. He was the best DJ ever and we couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Komlan! We have nothing but good things to say.

The team they had were amazing! everything was perfect from the bridal entrance to the reception. They are extremely detailed in preparation. Execution was flawless and a lot of fun! Throughout the reception the MC kept checking in on us regarding timelines making sure everything was on track or if we wanted to make adjustments. Bobby and Komlan both were very pleasant to work with! For several months, they kept in touch to make sure we would have everything we wanted for music/entertainment for our big day. DJ Bobby was so flexible on the day of the wedding as we had a few last minute changes. However, with his help, no one noticed. He kept the crowd hyped the entire day/night and everything flowed smoothly. Bobby also did a fantastic job at transitioning from one genre to another as it isn’t always easy to do, especially when the songs are all in different languages. We are so incredibly happy with his work and would recommend him and C’est La Vie Events to our friends!

Komlan & his team at C'est La Vie take the time from the planning phase to the day of the wedding. He makes sure that the event goes smoothly and is fun, professional, & laid back. Komlan & C'Est La Vie were a DREAM to work with! Komlan has DJ'd a few weddings we've been to, and since the first time I heard him, I knew we'd be booking him for our own wedding! We booked cocktail hour/dinner music, reception music, as well as up lighting, and were completely in love with all of it. The up lighting gave the room just that extra ambiance factor that made it feel like more of a party after a certain time in the night, and the music was the perfect mix. I stressed a little prior to the reception that parts of the older crowd wouldn't dance much if there wasn't enough music they could relate to, and Komlan didn't let me down! The dance floor was packed almost the whole night. He ran through our timeline with us the week prior, as well as the day of, and MC'd the reception with such a positive fun party attitude. Best DJ ever, I hope I attend another wedding that C'Est La Vie is a part of. Always a great party!

We would definitely recommend c’est la vie to DJ your wedding or event. We had them provide DJ, uplighting, and photobooth for our wedding and all services were awesome. Guests said the photobooth was a lot of fun and it was great having the photos to look at later as a keepsake. The photobooth attendant Valentine was lots of fun. Our DJ Komlan got everyone on the dance floor and the wedding was a blast because of it. "most dancing in 8 years I've seen at the Madison Club"
We had a difficult time making a decision about who would be our DJ based on the number of options and meetings with different DJ companies that we've had. All of them just did not feel like the right fit. Luckily we stumbled upon C'est la vie and right away we knew this was the company we wanted to go with. Our interactions with Komlan were prompt, positive, and professional; the DJ's that work for his company were of similar age to us (this was important to me but may not be to all), and their operations seemed like a well oiled machine. We were paired up with Bobby for our event, and the day went perfectly. Bobby hours earlier to ensure that set up and sound were working as intended, reviewed the itinerary with us and checked in periodically with us throughout the evening. The music was perfect and well tailored to our crowd, and had the dance floor packed all night long! The floor manager at the Madison Club told us that this was the most dancing he's ever seen for a wedding in the 8 years he had been there. I could not recommend a better team to work with, and am so grateful they were available for our wedding. Thank you so much Komlan and Bobby! We'll never forget you!

We loved working with Komlan- he was very responsive via email leading up to our wedding and always answered all my questions well. He showed up extra early day-of to make sure everything was set up correctly. The music he chose was awesome and made everyone get on the dance floor- with songs everyone loves at first transitioning to songs for the younger crowd towards the end. We had multiple people tell us they'd never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding before! Komlan was also great as emcee throughout the reception. Choose C'est La Vie
C'est La Vie was the best vendor decision that we made.
From start to finish, C'est La Vie was a fantastic vendor. Each interaction that we had with the company was productive and was the perfect combination of professional and fun.
Komlan, the business owner, does a great job consulting with couples to find exactly how they would like their dream day to go. He walks you through the process and asks questions that we would have never thought of on our own. Komlan and his team do a lot of preparation work and communications with each couple ahead of time, so that things are planned down to a minute detail for the special day.
Komlan was the MC, DJ, and photo booth provider for our wedding. He helped to create structure to our day, which allowed for people to be informed where to go and what was happening - and he is very likable in doing so! Having this structure is necessary so that the bride/groom and close family/friends can focus on having a good time and not having to take on the role of MC'ing half-heartedly. Komlan was also the DJ for our wedding. He kept the energy high and fun. He knows how to read the room and keep people on the dance floor. Lastly, C'est La Vie was the provider for our photo booth. We were told by many that this was their favorite part of the night.
Komlan helped to make our wedding safe to have during COVID. He provided reminders to our reduced guest count about the precautions and expectations for all attendees (at our request). He also configured his photo booth so that it was hands-free, which we loved!
Komlan was even able to quickly troubleshoot an issue with our our speaker after an usher accidentally tripped over the microphone cord mid-ceremony. Talk about thinking on his feet and going above and beyond!

Amazing DJ
We loved working with this DJ and our guests still comment on what a fun wedding! During the process they were very communicative and helped us decide on music. The day before the wedding I received a personal call from my DJ. We went over final details and music. I greatly appreciated this personalized attention and just put me at ease. During our reception the DJ read the room and our dance was NEVER empty no matter the age. I just loved that the fun never stopped, everyone wanted to keep dancing. I think this is a sign of a great DJ and just made our day so special. They are professional affordable and your guests will love it.

Just good people!
We were suppose to get married and have a big reception in October 2020. Unfortunately, due to COVID we had to cancel our big celebration. Despite canceling after the contracted refund date, Kolman and the team at C'est La Vie were compassionate and flexible and didn't require us to pay the rest of our balance. Throughout the entire experience Kolman was professional and a joy to work with. Frankly, we lost so much money by canceling our wedding, so it was so kind and helpful to not have to pay for DJ services we couldn't use. Thanks again Kolman and I hope people know that when you book with this company, you're working with real people who work to provide you with the best experience possible.

Komlan was great to work with! Planning was simple, he was always quick to respond to any questions we had and he made our wedding reception flow seamlessly. We got married in September 2019 and still are hearing to this day how amazing our DJ was and his song choices! We had a few phone call meets and filled out forms- providing our timeline and are hopes for the dance floor- keep people dancing all night and it couldn’t of went more perfect! Definitely recommend. A Perfect Experience

C'est La Vie is the best choice!
If you are considering C'Est La Vie Events for a big event or wedding, book them right now. They were easily one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. Our DJ was Komlan, and he was AMAZING. Having an awesome, energetic dance floor was extremely important to us, and Komlan did not disappoint. I don't know that there was a single lull throughout the night. Additionally, the guests LOVED the photo booth, and it gave us a lot of special memories from the night. Lastly, not only did Komlan facilitate an awesome party, he worked with incredible professionalism and communication. He was excellent at communication leading up to the day and during the evening. I legitimately cannot recommend C'est La Vie more!

Amazing DJ/services and Outstanding Professionalism!
We hired C'Est La Vie Events for our wedding and DJ Komlan was our DJ. They were amazing and kept the dance floor packed all night. Komlan was there for us through the entire process from the day we booked them to the wedding day and he delivered big on the DJ service. He MC the entire evening as well and was very professional the entire time which makes the entire evening run smoothly. We also had photo booth and uplighting services and couldn't be any happier with the services. They made the venue looked beautiful with the light magenta color they picked for us and the photo booth was a hit. They also made the photo booth covid-safe for all our guests by suggesting a no props photo booth and setting up the photo booth where our guests did not have to touch anything to start the photos and receive their prints. Overall a huge suggest and our guests keep talking about how much fun they had on the dance floor. Thank you so much for making our wedding a success and for being there for us. We will definitely be recommending them to all our newly engaged friends!

Loved our DJ & Photobooth
We used C’est La Vie for our DJ and photo booth and they were awesome for both! There were always people on the dance floor and the photo booth was packed all night! One thing I would’ve changed is that we didn’t purchase any uplighting so the dance floor area was a little dark. They did a great job at following our song list per the form they have you fill out prior to the wedding. They also gave us a print-out of every photo booth picture which was awesome! Communication was pretty timely. We would typically get a response within a day or two (aside from one time when they were out of the office).

Awesome DJ!!
Komlan and Christian from C’Est La Vie DJ’d our wedding in August 2020. We were SO impressed. They were extremely helpful and organized throughout the wedding planning process. Komlan was an excellent MC and helped the wedding reception run smoothly. We had a bit of a delay in our timeline and he did a great job of getting things back on track. The music was perfect and had our guests dancing all night long. Would 100% recommend C’Est La Vie for your next event!!

We hired C’ Est La Vie to be the DJ at our wedding & I couldn’t be happier with how amazing they were. From the beginning of the process, we experienced great communication & could tell from the start how much C’ Est La Vie cared about making our wedding day special. Komlan, our DJ did an absolutely amazing job. I had made some last minute changes to details & he was so willing to make it happen. He had an outdoor set up for our ceremony & had a indoor set up as well for dinner & reception. Komlan was so great at helping the evening flow right on schedule, was so friendly to our guests & played music that ensured our guests were out on the dance floor! I could not recommend C’ Est La Vie more, they did an excellent job & we will most definitely be working with them in the future for any events. We could really tell that this team truly cared about us & our wedding & they helped make it a night we will never forget!

The best dj you will ever hire!
Do you want a wedding where your guests will never be able to stop talking about how AWESOME the dance floor was, how there was never a bad song, and how surprised they were that your whole wedding of 200 people were actually dancing?! That is totally what you get with C'est La Vie! We couldn't thank them enough for the DJ and Photo Booth services they provided. #1 thing our guests talk about (seriously... everyone kept saying how FUN our wedding was) and it was because of C'est La Vie! I think it must be that everyone who works there just enjoys the job. Komlan responded to all of our questions super fast (honestly... we had to wait days or weeks for some vendors to get back to us, C'est La Vie usually took a day or less). They meet with you the week before the wedding as well, just to make sure everything goes off exactly how you want it to. THEY MADE OUR WEDDING! Hire C'est La Vie, we promise you won't regret it! :)

Great wedding DJ
I'm really glad we used C'Est La Vie for our wedding. Compared to other DJs they were relatively affordable, and the DJ/manager were both great to work with. We had DJ Jordan at our wedding, and he did a great job with the music. We introduced our own wedding party, so Jordan didn't have to do a ton of emcee-ing, but he was really great with the music. He definitely kept everyone happy, both older and younger folks, and kept the dance floor full all night. I would definitely recommend the company to anyone getting married in Madison!

The BEST DJ and Photobooth
C'Eest La Vie was a dream to work with. Whether it was early on in the planning stages, changes in the weeks before the wedding, or even day-of changes, the team was professional, reliable, and executed flawlessly. C'Est La Vie has perfected its services. Their attention to detail, discovery questions, and suggestions were enormously helpful. There are so many little things you wouldn't know to think about, and their team was brought them all to our attention and guided us through.
Special thanks to Komlan for accommodating our late stage equipment and service additions, and a huge thank you to DJ Bobby. Bobby read the crowd perfectly, seamlessly adjusted to changes, and was critical to ensuring our guests had a great time dancing the night away. Every guest I've spoken to since the wedding has talked about how great the DJ was. The photobooth services were excellent as well. Great props, great attendant, everyone was able to leave with some great souvenirs. I would recommend C'Est La Vie to everyone and anyone.

Excellent services despite first DJ being unavailable
Despite the first DJ having a personal emergency and being unavailable two weeks before our wedding in Milwaukee, C'Est La Vie Events provided an excellent service from DJ Jordan and Hank. They had all the necessary equipment, efficiently and personably MC'd the evening, were responsive to our preferences (music, names, special parts of event schedule, etc.), and were timely and professional. In particular, they were experienced and comfortable playing the mix of spanish language/latin music that we were looking for.

Best DJ ever!
We met Komlan at a bridal expo. It was so refreshing to speak with him- most other DJ’s we spoke with there were impersonal and were pushy on their sales pitch. Every interaction with Komlan was so refreshing because he was very much wanting to make sure we had the best day and really listened to what we wanted in our DJ services. He was extremely professional and fun to work with.
Komlan was our DJ for our ceremony and reception and he helped keep everything on track and flowing without interruption. He had the dance floor PACKED all night long. I know that is always something a couple wishes for, and DJ Komlan definitely pays attention to what the couple wants and what the guests are responding to. He is clearly a master at his craft. You can tell he was enjoying himself too- I think that speaks volumes to the type of service he provides.
We cannot recommend C’est La Vie Events enough for DJ services, and definitely DJ Komlan himself. You will not regret it!

It was such a pleasure working with C'est La Vie Events, specifically Komlan and Jordan. Komlan helped us to coordinate our event and was so responsive and communicative throughout the process. He thought of everything and made sure we had a concrete plan for the day of. Our DJ, Jordan, was excellent and gave us exactly what we wanted! He helped facilitate the night with entrances, toasts, dinner, etc. We described our music taste to him and he delivered! Our guests so enjoyed the dancing and the great atmosphere. We could have danced until dawn. Highly recommend!!

We had C’est la Vie at our wedding this June to DJ and host the photo booth, and we were very happy with their service!
Komlan was always responsive and helpful, and our DJ Bobby was extremely flexible when we had a lot of extra details come up at the last minute. Everything went smoothly at our wedding, and we are so grateful for their great service!
The photo booth was also a huge hit at our reception, and the attendant Noy was very friendly.
Overall, we would definitely recommend C’est la Vie! Thank you again to Komlan, Bobby, and Noy!

DJ Komlan - T'es THE BEST!
We knew Komlan and C'est La Vie Events were our choice for DJ right after meeting him at a local wedding expo.
My (now!) husband is French and we knew some of his family would be making the trip to the States to attend our wedding, so we were on the hunt for a French-speaking DJ. Komlan was a perfect choice - but not just because he speaks French!
Komlan was friendly and professional from the moment we started working with him. He was also willing to accept our lengthy song request list and did his best to play many of them.
On the day of the wedding, he provided ceremony, cocktails, dinner, and reception/dancing music and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect compliment to ALL of our events. Everyone we talked to (and danced with!) had such a fun time! Our dance floor was full the entire evening!

Our experience with C'est La Vie was fantastic. We worked entirely with Komlan, who was extremely responsive and thorough throughout the entire process. He fit exactly the vision we had in mind for our wedding DJ and Emcee - fully professional (if you are worried about an "awkward" DJ who might go off script, look no further) and an excellent reader of the room for music during the reception dance. We decided to not provide a playlist and trust Komlan to curate everything, and we were not disappointed. Komlan even came to the venue the morning of to set up several hours before the ceremony, and timed the processional and recessional music we requested to perfection. I highly recommend Komlan and C'est la Vie to anyone.

Met up with the owner about a year prior to our wedding. We emailed back and forth. Anytime I had a question they were quick to respond. They gave great suggestions and pointed us in the right direction. DJ Jordan was our DJ and he did an amazing job! He did the ceremony music, dinner music and dance music. He gave us everything we asked for! I also recommended a playlist for songs that had to be played. He took any requests from guests and I. Was professional and friendly! Komlan and Bobby left nothing to be desired!
My wife and I have been to many weddings with fun crowds, expecting a great time and fun dance, but bad DJs left us disappointed. We decided to work with C’est La Vie after several friends told us about them, and how they had kept the dance floors packed all night long at other weddings. From day one with Komlan, he was amazing! With great rates, flexibility, and prompt communication, we had no worries about our DJ even while planning everything from across the country. As soon as the First Dances were over, Komlan and Bobby had the dance floor full the entire night! They exceeded our dreams of throwing the best party we could imagine, and many of our guests have told us the same.

We hired C'Est La Vie Events for our Oct. 2018 wedding in Baraboo. DJ Thini was our main DJ and DJ Jordan was there to help as well. DJ Thini was AMAZING. The dance floor was packed and he did a great job mixing songs together to make sure that there was always music playing. He played almost all of the songs we requested on the paperwork we filled out beforehand and even called me the day before the wedding for any last minute requests. They also played any last minute requests. Both DJ Thini and DJ Jordan looked very professional. I would definitely recommend DJ Thini and C'Est La Vie Events!

Easiest part of the wedding planning was the DJ!
I was so appreciative of the flexibility and professionalism Komlan displayed while helping us plan the wedding. He was super responsive to all email communication, and he was very organized with his pre-event planning. The day of he exceeded all of our expectations and kept the party going all night. We received several compliments about the DJ and afterwards realized he was the DJ at our friend's wedding the previous year, where we had a ton of fun too! C'Est La Vie was affordable and provided a quality service!

Great experience!
We used C’est La Vie for our wedding in Racine, WI on 10/20/18. We got their package that included 8 hours, photo booth and uplighting. The package was a great deal. They did a good job of mixing their experience with the playlist of suggestions I provided and my guests were dancing the whole night. I wish that we’d had an opportunity to actually meet in person to go over things prior but because they were 2 hours out, that wasn’t a possibility. We were able to talk over the phone and that was sufficient. The uplighting was a nice addition to our decor and the photo booth was a huge hit. This was much nicer than any of the other photo booths I’ve seen before. It was spacious and they had actual props. Everyone had a blast with it. We used the prints to do a photo guest book and it was really neat! Overall, it was a great experience!

The best wedding dance party ever!!
DJ Thini absolutely killed it at our wedding. He kept guests dancing all night, we got so many compliments. Our experience with C'est La Vie for our September wedding was great! We worked exclusively with Komlan and he was really good about responding to our messages and ensuring we had what we needed for the wedding day. We discovered C'est La Vie at the Madison Wedding Show and their unique music and energy caught our attention. On our wedding day, Komlan was the DJ for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I was impressed with how easily he was able to take the song preferences we gave him and run with them. Komlan was able to read the room and change up the music to ensure people continued to dance and enjoy themselves all throughout the night. I appreciated that he was confident and relaxed during the event, so my new husband and I could just enjoy ourselves while he ensured announcements and speeches were made on time and everything went smoothly. On the day of, the C'est La Vie DJs were there bright and early, making sure they had plenty of time to setup for our big event. I would 100 percent recommend C'Est La Vie Events for your DJ/photobooth needs. The owner Komlan was very friendly and responsive when we were in the planning stages for my wedding, and he took time to make sure the music and photo booth was exactly what I had in mind. His work paid off because the dance floor was a blast--I didn't want the night to end! And the photo booth pictures were hilarious. Komlan also did a great job of moving the reception along, whether it was to announce speeches, or share other important information with guests.

He answered any and every question we had, and went above and beyond to ensure the DJ and photo booth services we received were top notch! He paired us with DJ Brian who was just wonderful at keeping the dance floor going for 6 straight hours, and he helped us shut it down in spectacular fashion (“Closing Time” for the win)! We had C’EST LA VIE for our DJ/ceremony/uplighting and photo booth for our wedding. Komlan the manager was always willing to meet up. He met us several times before the wedding to go over details and song choices. Between meetups, he responded timely through emails. For our ceremony, our DJ Thini worked with our videographer and officiant to ensure that they had what they needed. During the wedding reception, they did a great job keeping the dancefloor entertained and probably even more important in assisting our guests at the photo booth. The photo booth at our wedding was a huge success! So many of our guests had fun using it and we’ll treasure the photos from it. We can’t stress enough how professional Komlan and Thini are and how much fun we had working with them. They did an AMAZING job! We HIGHLY recommend C’EST LA VIE!!!

We decided to go with C'est La Vie Events for our wedding because they were the only DJs at the wedding show we went to who didn't seem like classic cheesy DJs (or creepy car salesmen). They were well-dressed and professional, and exactly what we wanted for our wedding. Komlan was extremely responsive once we made contact and made sure we understood the whole process. We were also allowed to add uplighting at the last minute, which added more ambience to our reception.
Brian was our DJ for our wedding last weekend and he was absolutely fantastic! He kept the party going all night and stuck to the music we wanted to hear. When one of our guests requested music that was different from what we discussed with Brian, he waited for us to give him the go-ahead, which was awesome! His transitions between songs were awesome, and all of our guests loved the music! I would recommend C'est La Vie to anyone!

My husband and I are both so glad that we chose C'est La Vie for our wedding. From the first time I contacted Komlan (the owner), he was so kind and willing to answer any questions that we had. He was always quick to respond as well which we greatly appreciated. Eric was the DJ at our wedding and he was great!! Throughout the night Eric would check in with my husband and myself to make sure everything was running as we had hoped. He also had the dance floor going all night!! He took our friends requests and read the room wonderfully. Eric also played music during our ceremony which went by flawlessly. Kodjo was our photo booth attendant and he was also amazing as well. He helped our guests all night and I am grateful as we now have wonderful memories of our guests from the night. In preparation for our wedding, my wife and I researched DJs for days. We sought someone who could uniquely cater to our needs: mixing Persian, French, Latin, and American dance and classics. The two of us communicated with DJs far and wide -- from Chicago to Milwaukee -- to find the “right” one. C’Est La Vie was one of the DJ companies we emailed. They were responsive, professional, and courteous. But we waited on a decision for some time and communicated with various DJs first. Annoyingly, many of the other companies would constantly call or email us without our permission -- pestering us to purchase their package and advertising “special deals” that only existed for “the next 24 hours.” These sales tactics did not sell well with us. C’Est La Vie simply provided the information and waited for us to decide. We didn’t feel pressured or hassled; instead, I know I felt special to them. Ultimately, in preparation for our wedding, Komlan met with us multiple times to discuss timelines, music mixes, and expressed his confidence in mixing multicultural beats. When the day finally arrived, he had everything in order. He was friendly, kind, and warm. As my wife and I were frantically running around, he seemed calm and ready. Whenever we needed anything, he accommodated our needs. Throughout the experience we were astounded at his timing, ability, and prep work too. For every little shift in music and sound we requested, Komlan was on it. Even more exciting and special, he set up uplighting for no charge. We were BLOWN away by his generosity and care for our day. When the dancing finally began he listened to the crowds’ requests and energy in the room. We could’ve been jamming and dancing until the crack of dawn had it not been for an early close at our venue! Thank you, C’Est La Vie!

My wife and I are in complete agreement that this was the best choice we made as far as our wedding goes (besides actually getting hitched.. ha). We could not have asked for a better DJ. Brian was amazing and he completely catered to our every need. The process was very simple and straightforward. He asked us what genre of music we favored, and we provided him with a few songs and artists but also decided to put faith in our DJ. We asked him to take the reigns and keep the dance floor jumpin all night long. Let me tell you... the results were impressive. We are soooo beyond happy that Brian was our DJ. The dance floor was crazy all night and no one wanted to leave because the music selection was right on point. Also, Brian's DJ skills are second to none; his transitions were flawless. Another thing that I really liked is that when people made requests for songs he would send them directly to me (the groom) to ask. If I wanted to hear the song I would simply just go speak with Brian and he would make it happen. I would absolutely recommend Brian for any event where a DJ is present.
