  Incredible!

  We hired Sergey with ByJacqui through the vendor package with our venue in Frederick and we were not introduced to him until our wedding day, which of course was partially nerve-wracking. I can not express enough how impressed we and everyone at our wedding were with him. You could tell he is passionate about his work and he will be sure to get every shot possible. It was extremely hot when we were taking photos and he was so patient with us and helped us every step of the way. He showed us some of the shots throughout the day to make sure we were happy with them too. I requested to be able to attend at least half of my cocktail hour and he made that happen for me which meant so much. We are so happy we went with ByJacqui and would recommend this team over and over again!

  Wonderful!

  By Jacqui Photography was a pleasure to work with. Our wedding was put on hold due to Covid and when it was time to resume they jumped back in and worked with us diligently. Our photographer, Sergei, was very patient and coordinated with us to ensure we got all the pics we wanted. I wholeheartedly recommend By Jacqui, you won't be disappointed.

  An amazing experience with such a pro!!

  We hired Sergey for both our engagement shoot and then our wedding. He was amazing to work with - we were both stunned and still talk about him! Many wedding guests also asked about him afterward. He's such a charismatic and cool guy who you can tell is really dedicated to photography - he isn't just doing a job, but he is pursuing a passion. He will put in the extra time and effort to frame photos nicely and get the right lighting. He will contort himself into all sorts of crazy positions just to get the right shot. And he really wants to make the couple shine and be happy. He does a great job getting the couple to relax and capturing their love. His style is very romantic and editorial. He was also so good at running from place to place during the wedding, but also merging into the background seamlessly. We also had some wacky shot requests and he captured them nicely. We were so glad for him to be there with us for the journey. Highly highly recommend!!

  From Melissa's friendly demeanor to coordinating and thoroughly asking us what we wanted for our day to Sergey photographing every moment this company is amazing to work with. Sergey is prompt, agile and never missed a moment. You'll regret not working with them a must book!

  Best Photographer

  Jacqui is the BEST!!!! She is amazing at what she does and will make sure all of your special moments and then some are perfectly captured. She is also so much fun to be around. I was not the best at posing and with her cues I looked less like an awkward mannequin. She made our day so much fun!

  ByJacqui went above & beyond for our wedding photography. They worked so hard to make sure we stayed on schedule, got all of the necessary & wanted photos/portraits, & captured the most beautiful images of our special day!   Beautiful photos, photographer who could think on his feet

  Easy communication, great photographer who adapted quickly when a crisis occurred and ceremony moved to a dark hallway (this was an elopement), all around great candids and portraits.

  The best photos and experience with Jacqui!!!

  Jacqui and her team were the perfect fit to capture our wedding, and to work with prior to and after wedding events. They have a lot of experience with weddings and are able to channel that into directing crowds of people, making sure things go smoothly on their end, and are just totally on top of everything.
  
  The photos - amazing. Absolutely amazing. From timing of the pictures to their quality, as well as the sheer quantity, plus the beautiful album: pick By Jacqui. You will not regret it!!!

  If you want something, Jacqui will make it happen.

  Jacqui & her second shooter were awesome. I am so awkward in photos and was pleasantly surprised when the pictures came back because they are beautiful. The only thing I would say is that if you have a specific shot in mind or something that's especially important to you, speak up (as early as possible). I wish I would've had more pictures with my family and my mom and getting read in general. Jacqui is flexible and will do anything as long as you say something. I told her I wanted a picture of everyone at the wedding immediately after the ceremony. I knew it wouldn't be picture-perfect and Jacqui advised me of that as well, but she knew I wanted it so she got up on a ladder and made it happen! She was unobtrusive during the ceremony and reception but still able to capture all the key moments which was really important. She even got down on the floor at the reception to get shots of us singing at the top of our lungs to Don't Stop Believin!

  jacqui is sooo lovely to work with..Accommodating to the inth degree..I have worked with Len De Pas for many, many years and Jacqui has learned from the master.. She is sweet as can be and you will love having her around..Her work is excellent..

  I could not imagine getting through wedding planning and the wedding day without Jacqui. She goes above and beyond her role as the photographer. The quality and number of pictures she took was well above what I could have imagined. Jacqui was amazing to work with and was very flexible to work around our schedule. She was so helpful in the planning process offering recommendations for other elements in the wedding. On the wedding day she made sure to get all the pictures we would want and she took charge, so that we could enjoy the wedding day and not worry about anything! She did a great job with our engagement photoshoot, then was with us all day on our wedding day, but was never imposing or in the way. They made sure we got all of the pictures that we would want and but made sure we were having fun and enjoying our special day.   Cannot begin to express how much we love Jacqui! She was truly amazing and helped to keep an anxious bride calm during the entire wedding! Jacqui is professional, gives great advice and goes "above and beyond" her duties as a photographer. Her work is beautiful.

  Jacqui DePas photographed our daughter's wedding at The Park Hyatt in Washington DC. She has been a pleasure to work with - starting with our preliminary contact requesting information, all the way through the gorgeous finished product. Jacqui was a calming and professional influence throughout the big day. Jacqui has an incredible eye for beautiful pictures. She was able to take advantage of design within the hotel to create interesting, artistic backgrounds for the "posed" shots. She did an excellent job of wrangling the bridal party, family and guests for pictures while all the time making the group photos a quick and painless process. Everyone wants those group photos, they are an important part of telling the story. But the real story is told in the many, many special moments during the celebration. Many of these just last a second. Being able to capture them is really magical. Jacqui and her team collected photos of so many special moments - a laugh, a hug, a cheer and on and on. But they did this without the guests even noticing that they were being photographed! Truly amazing!!! I have absolutely no idea how I will choose from among the hundreds and hundreds of fabulous pictures!!!

  Happy Customer in DC

  Jacqui took my daughter's senior high school photo in June 2021. We were both very pleased with the quality of the the prints. We were able to choose the venue, and Jacqui met my daughter there, made her feel comfortable in front of the camera and spent an hour shooting her portrait. My daughter said she really enjoyed the experience and the photos show her looking natural and relaxed. We chose the one-outfit-one-venue option to keep it simple and still were given a variety of photos to choose from. There was a bit of lag time in getting the appointment set up.
