Phyllis was a delight to work with! She has incredible experience and vision, and worked with us to curate the perfect save the date and wedding invitation suite. She created absolutely beautiful paper materials for day-of, too! Phyllis worked tirelessly to ensure perfection - she is an etiquette expert, and ensured that all of our layouts/formatting were exactly correct. We felt so taken care of throughout the entire process, from start to finish, and are incredibly grateful to have worked with her! Phyllis is truly the best of the best :)

Phyllis is first rate. A perfect example of "you get what you pay for". She is full of experience and creative ideas to match any person's desires and wishes. Abundant samples are at her fingertips as she discusses what is best for you. Once the order is placed she is compulsive in her follow up until the invites are stuffed, addressed stamped and mailed. Highly recommend without reservation.

Exquisite wedding stationary and service!

I could not recommend Phyllis more for your invitation and stationary needs. She provided her services to create the most gorgeous custom invitation suite for our wedding, and provided her expertise every step of the way. Then we leveraged the suite design to create custom menus, escort cards, table numbers, and ceremony programs. Our guests have been raving about the beauty of the designs. It added the most magical element to our wedding that we will never forget - everything was a work of art. Phyllis is the best in the business. Perfect for elegant and modern invitations

Phyllis, the owner, has been a joy to work with since our initial phone consultation. Through the process of designing our wedding invitations, she helped us hone in on what we realized was the color palette we truly wanted for the entire wedding. Superb customer service

The Best Invitation Designs in NYC

I used By Invitation Only Designs for my entire wedding suite and was so pleased with the outcome! Everything arrived on time and the quality was beyond my expectations. Phyllis has such a variety of different choices and clearly knows what she is doing. She answered all of my repetitive and silly questions and was prompt to respond, which is such a relief for a bride. I felt like many of the other places in NYC were very short with me for the prices they were charging, compared to Phyllis’ prices and customer service. I am also incredibly indecisive so it was such a relief that she offered her advice and helped me with choosing fonts, colors, and wording to make everything look perfect- which it did! I highly recommend By Invitation Only for any occasion and look forward to using them in the future!

Great experience working with Phyllis at By Invitation Only Designs. She was extremely creative and had great suggestions to create our invitation. Phyllis was absolutely wonderful to work with. As a bride who was doing everything herself for the wedding, the prospect of stationery was quite daunting at first. Phyllis was the perfect guide throughout the entire process, offering guidance and help only when requested and really listened whenever I would have questions or feedback. For the day of stationery items, she also kept me honest, circling back to me promptly to ensure that I would have everything in time for the wedding. The stationery came out perfectly and we received many compliments which is definitely due in large part to Phyllis' incredible aesthetic! I certainly hope to work with her in the future.

Phyllis is fantastic! My mom contacted Phyllis to work on our wedding programs and she was fabulous every step of the way. My mom and I had very different ideas of how the final product should look, but Phyllis worked with us to coordinate every detail and we were both thrilled with the final product. Throughout the process, she was patient, responsive and available at all times (even late at night). Because of our tight deadline, we did not have the chance to proof the final copy before printing, but Phyllis made sure that every change was made and when the programs arrived, they were perfect. I could not recommend Phyllis more highly.

5 stars all the way! Phyllis has been an absolute joy to work with. I initially contacted her because she was listed as an authorized dealer of Bella Figura invitations in my area. From the very beginning she was so responsive and helpful. My fiance and I met with her and explained what we wanted and how much we wanted to spend, and Phyllis found us the perfect invitations. She wasn't pushy at all, just helpful, and the meeting was incredibly efficient, which my fiance loved! A week and a half later, I changed my mind and decided I wanted another style! I told Phyllis, and she got me the new design, no problem! She also customized our suite so that we could stay within our budget. Any time I emailed or called her, I got an immediate response, no matter how trivial my question was. Most importantly, the invitations were absolutely perfect. They arrived quickly and without issue, and she coordinated the addressing for me, which also turned out amazingly. I have gotten SO many compliments on them! She is so hard-working and professional; I can't say enough good things. Thank you so much for such a great experience!

My oldest son's bar mitzvah is certainly the most amazing and stressful event I have had to plan thus far and Phyllis took all of the stress out of picking out invitations! Everyone who has received our invitation has called me to say how modern, unique and stunning my son's invitation is! Phyllis was respectful of my budget, helpful when it came to the wording and most responsive any time I had a question. I will, without a doubt, be using Phyllis for my middle son's bar mitzvah in February of 2016!

My invitations were received by my guests TODAY and I logged right in to write this review as my phone will not stop ringing with praises! Phyllis was a pleasure to work with - she listened and offered her advice where it was most needed. I had a vision for what I wanted my invitations to look like and they were much more involved then just selecting from a page in a book. Phyllis helped make my vision happen and understood and more importantly, agreed with all of my nit-picking little changes. She never tried to convince me that what I saw wasn't right. She was patient and kind and treated my invitation selection and ordering process as if it was for her own daughter. My invitations are more than I could have ever imagined and definitely caused me to gasp the first time I opened the box. You should definitely use Phyllis if you want hassle free, beautiful invitations to set the tone for your wedding or special event :) Thanks Phyllis!!!

As an event planner I need to know that the vendors I work with are dependable and responsible. Phyllis far surpasses any one's expectations. When planning for our wedding, I went to several larger paper stores and was overwhelmed and discouraged by the lack of guidance and help they provided. Luckily, I found Phyllis, and after our first meeting, I felt much better about the process, and knew she would help me to find the perfect save-the-dates and wedding invitations! She is very responsive, thorough, and honest, which made the whole experience easier and worry free! She helped me to narrow down options for the save-the-dates, was patient with all of our changes, and even recommended vendors for calligraphy. Establishing a personal relationship is key when putting together something as important as your wedding invitations - we will definitely be working with Phyllis again!

Working with Phyllis was fabulous! She knows exactly when to offer an opinion and when to let family dynamics play out. Her taste is wonderful and she is thoughtful in her comments. Wedding preparations can be very stressful especially second weddings. Phyllis Roth the owner of By Invitation only Design was helpful ,informative and
creative. Phyllis had an enormous selections of beautiful invitations and directed me on the wording and details that I had missed. My sister used Phyllis for her wedding invitations but living in LA I was a little hesitant being so far away. After contacting Phyllis, she put my mind at ease and from my very start was easy to work with. My fiance and I looked at invitations in LA and Phyllis was able to find the exact invitations (and similar ones too). I met with her once which I did while on a trip to NY and all other communications were done over e-mail. She was very accommodating and responsive as well. What I liked most was the one-on-one relationship and the knowledge she has about the products rather than a big box store. It was great working with Phyllis and would definitely recommend her!

I had a very positive experience with Phyllis. She is extremely responsive and sensitive to the type of event and the style of the couple.
