Elevation was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our October 10th, 2025 wedding. From the very first song, their energy was unmatched and the dance floor was packed all night long. They knew exactly how to read the crowd and kept the momentum going without missing a beat.
They even helped organize a family tradition dance to the Hawaii Five-O theme, which was such a fun and memorable highlight of the night. Our guests are still talking about it.

Such an amazing experience - Carnivale truly altered the playlist to our preferences. The dance floor was packed all night, which was our main goal of the night. El was amazing with all the prep/communications and made everything personal to us. I wish I could get married again just to have Carnivale perform again!!! They are so good. Plus, we had live music during cocktail hour and even a violin trio during the ceremony - the live entertainment was 11/10 throughout the whole night. Do you have a small-ish wedding but still want the sound and energy of a big band? Hire Level V. Oh my god I could rave about them for forever. No one stopped dancing all night! A fun wedding was our #1 priority, and Level V made that happen. They played at the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and of course dancing. Leading up to the wedding, Vahe (band leader) met with us twice to make sure they could provide the party we wanted. Vahe was a real pleasure to work with. The hora was so important to me and my husband, and Level V learned/played a nine minute yiddish medley for us! They were also incredibly flexible with me and let me MC speeches (I recommend that too, so fun). I don’t think that I can say enough good things about them. My family has seen a lot of wedding bands, and they all agreed this was the best one. Please hire them and then invite me to your wedding so I can jam to them again :)

Strangers was absolutely amazing. Everyone of our guests told us they were the best wedding band and the best wedding they’d ever been to. One guest told us it was the best day of his life — he was not the bride (myself) or the groom or even related to us. Deja Blue was the best!
From the moment we saw Deja Blue perform at the showcase at Ardmore Music Hall we knew we wanted them at our wedding. Chris and everybody in the band were so responsive, learned the songs we asked them too, and brought nonstop bangers all night. Our guests still rave about how incredible they were! I cannot recommend the band "Strangers" enough for their incredible performance at my wedding! They truly made the night unforgettable. The band had excellent communication throughout the planning process, and BVT made everything so seamless and stress-free. I loved using their user-friendly portal, which allowed me to select exactly which songs the band would play at each part of the wedding — it made customizing our playlist incredibly easy.
The band went above and beyond by addressing all our special requests. They perfectly combined our father-daughter and mother-son dances, and they even made a heartfelt announcement dedicating a song to the groom’s father for his birthday. Additionally, they learned a new song to continue our family flash mob tradition, which was such a fun and special touch.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how great the band was, and they kept the dance floor lively all night long. I’ve never been to a wedding where every single guest table was empty because everyone was dancing the entire night.
Working with "Strangers" and BVT was an absolute pleasure — they were the best vendor I had the pleasure of collaborating with both before and during my wedding day. If you're looking for talented musicians, fantastic communication, and a seamless experience, look no further!BVTLive Bands's reply:

Jelly Roll/BVT BEST Wedding Band
Jellyroll was the most amazing, fun, best wedding band we could have ever asked for! The dance floor was packed the entire time and the energy was 10 out of 10. We’ve heard from so many of our guests that it was the most fun wedding that they have ever been to and we have Jellyroll to thank for that! They played every song we asked and even learned songs for our parent dance song and final song of the night.

We booked Experience through BVTLive after seeing them at a showcase and we could not have been happier with our decision. They are the best wedding band we’ve ever seen and I would still say that even if they didn’t perform at our wedding. Luke, the bandleader, was so great to work with and really created a perfect setlist for us. Everyone else in the band are remarkable musicians/singers and really knew how to get the crowd going. They had people on the dance floor all night long and our guests still cannot not stop talking about how amazing they were. Renee & Tristan’s Wedding with City Rhythm
We had the most perfect and fun wedding day ever and that is largely thanks to the amazing entertainment provided by City Rhythm and BVT Live. We knew from the beginning that we wanted to have a band because we love live music and the energy that a band is able to curate, depending on the vibe of the wedding reception. We knew that having a live band would be a significant expense in our wedding planning process, but we were willing to pay it and we believe we got more than our money’s worth with this band. City Rhythm was phenomenal at coordinating the flow of events throughout the reception, from speeches to first dances to eventually opening up the dance floor for the duration of the night. Their range of music is expansive, including oldies, classics, and modern hits. The band leader, Pete, is incredibly kind, caring, and so helpful throughout the planning process. They were super flexible with last minute song requests and learning songs that weren’t necessarily listed within their catalog. Overall, we have the best time with City Rhythm and we would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering them for their wedding or any other event!BVTLive Bands's reply:

My wife and I got married in August 2025 in northern New Jersey. We used the Strangers as our wedding band. As the groom, one of my (few) responsibilities in wedding planning was to get the band. I looked around online and listened to countless demos—I saw lots of good bands, and some not so good ones. A friend of mine had recently attended a wedding in the Philly area and said the band was great—that band was the Strangers. I gave them a listen, liked them, and trusted my friend’s recommendation; we booked the Strangers for our wedding.
The band was GREAT. We had about 160 people at our wedding, ranging in age from 19 to 90. We are both 27 and most of our friends are about the same age. The band catered to all tastes. Our friends like to party—lots of drinking and dancing. The Strangers absolutely, 150%, met our group where they were and wanted to be. They sounded great, were tons of fun, brought tons of energy, and had a GREAT song selection given our group demographics.
My wife did the vast majority of the wedding planning and everything was beautiful, went off without a hitch…but the number one thing that everyone talks about and complimented us on was how good the band was. I get to take credit for something lol.
I also can’t speak highly enough of Rick and Denny. During the planning process, those two made it clear that they were absolute professionals who knew what they were doing. It was a gigantic relief to know that we were in good hands and could move on to other tasks.
I wouldn’t waste my time writing this review if I didn’t wholeheartedly believe that the Strangers were instrumental to making our wedding a massive, massive, FUN success (that plus the open bar). If you’re on the fence about picking a wedding band, just book the Strangers. And do yourself a favor and add the horn section—it was some of the best money I’ve ever spent. Also…ask them to play Meatloaf’s “Paradise by the Dashboard Light,” if any of your friends/family are into classic rock: one of the highlights of the night.

Best band ever~
We cannot say enough amazing things about Elevation! From the very beginning, Lea (their bandleader) made the process so seamless—she was thorough and thoughtful during our pre-wedding planning calls, and always so responsive to any questions we had over email. Their online portal was also super easy to use, which made planning stress-free.
We first saw Elevation at the BVTLive showcase, which was such a fun experience and honestly the hardest part of the process—because all of the bands are that good. Justin, our rep, made everything even easier. He greeted us at the showcase, followed up afterward, and gave us such great information while we were deciding on a band. He really helped make the whole process simple and stress-free, and we are so grateful.
On our wedding night, Elevation completely exceeded our expectations. Our dance floor was packed all night long, and we’ve heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests ever since. The energy, the talent, and the way they kept the entire evening flowing was everything we could have hoped for and more.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Strangers provide the entertainment for the night of our wedding. Every step of the way, they were professional, heartfelt, and incredibly helpful. They were very welcoming and made all the prep-work feel natural and very easy. Meeting Denny and Rick to discuss our music choices was also a pure pleasure. All of this to say, nothing - and I mean nothing, compares to how well they rocked the house on our wedding night. From an emotional keyboard during the ceremony, to swanky and fun saxophones at cocktail hour, they helped build the ambiance we were looking for on our wedding night. When it finally came time for the reception, they brought out the wedding party and helped us set the tone during our first dance that our night was going to be FUN. All throughout the night, our guests came up to us to compliment the band. My mom told me it was like she was at a concert! And even now, days later, people are still texting us talking about how amazing this band was. I can never thank them enough or say enough good things about them. We knew as soon as we were introduced, that this was THE party band for our celebration of family and friends. The party took off from the introduction and never stopped. Our guests continue to tell us how great the band was — the best party band they ever experienced. Big Ric masterfully ran the show with great musicians, vocalists, music, and personality. Whenever I could catch a moment, I stood by the band and watched with great enjoyment the sax, trumpet, and trombone player. We knew that we wanted to work with Elevation so we contacted BVTLive and got a call scheduled right away. Paul was our point of contact and he was so helpful with everything from costing, to details of how the day typically runs, offered suggestions where asked and just made the process so simple! Back2Life (from BVTLive) was the best! The band and their management team was so great to work with from start to finish. Being welcomed at their band showcases helped us feel extra validated in our decision but the performance day-of FAR exceeded our expectations! I only wish I could relive the day as one of our guests. We loved being able to jam to millennial favorites like Blink 182 and the Killers at the end of the night and they even played Pink Pony Club as we requested! Made our party!
Elevation with BVTLive absolutely made our wedding the party we were hoping for! They were so receptive to our song requests and had our guests on the dance floor all night. The three song dance set prior to dinner was probably the highlight of the night for me, EVERYONE was on the dance floor. I truly cannot say enough good things about Elevation. We are getting compliments even weeks after our wedding about how great the band was, and we have been loving reliving it through our wedding videos. -

We cannot recommend Strangers enough if you're looking for a band for your wedding! Denny & the rest of the band did a fantastic job getting our guests on the dance floor, to the point that nobody wanted the night to end! They were so much fun to work with leading up to our wedding and did an amazing job with our first dance song, which was a new song for them. They are so talented and kept the energy alive all night long. Our family and friends won't stop talking about how wonderful you guys were. We just had Back2Life a BVT band perform at our wedding and they were absolutely amazing. We are still getting compliments on the band and how fun they were! Back2Life plays a wide range of music from Journey to Lizzo, to oldies, they do it all! They met with us a few times before our wedding and even learned to play our first dance songs. They even had my husband on stage with them. Only complaint is reception entrances were an incorrect order but other than that they are a lively, fun band who brings the party! -

Experience Band - Best decision Ever!!!
My husband and I had one non-negotiable for our wedding - to have a live band. We went to the BVT showcase and immediately fell in love with Experience. They were a little bit out of our budget, but we decided to book them anyways and cut back on other things and let me tell you ...they were worth every single penny!!! Luke is the nicest, coolest guy and so great to work with!! He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor. Our guests are still telling us how amazing the band was and several of them even got their card for their own events! Having Experience was the best decision we made!! BVT Strangers - best band in the Philly area, they kept the party going and energy up til 10:30 at night! From the intro. dances to the final song, our guests were greatly entertained and fully immersed in the dancing which was the goal for our guests! At one point, the groom joined the band onstage playing keyboard to Alicia Keys, "If I Ain't Got You" and Burt Bacharach's "Say A Little Prayer for You". It was the HIGHLIGHT of the night!!! Wow! What can I say about Jellyroll that hasn't already been said?! They live up to their reputation as one of the elite wedding bands in the Philadelphia area, and more! The entertainment for our wedding was one vendor I let my husband take the reins with and he picked the best option out there! From the initial inquiry, to the live showcase, to the song selection process and execution - BVTLive! and City Rhythm were a joy work with. they were prompt with responses and communication, flexible with our unique requests and full of energy throughout our entire wedding. Jelly Roll is Fabulous
We recently had the BVTLive band Jelly Roll play at our daughter's wedding at Water Works and they were absolutely outstanding! Their pianist and violinist played the music for the ceremony and did a beautiful job. It was convenient and cost effective that we didn't have to hire a separate vendor for the ceremony music. Kurt, the Jelly Roll manager, was professional, responsive and great to plan with from beginning to end. The band has a tremendous repertoire of music and they played everything we asked them to on the playlist we provided. The dance floor was full and lively at all times. This band knows how to work the crowd, and they most definitely lived up to their reputation as one of the best bands around! BVTLive fees are also significantly lower than other leading Band Companies. This is definitely the band to hire for your next special event!BVTLive Bands's reply:

I attended a wedding that Jellyroll performed at last year. And have been to several weddings with other bands over the years. There was no doubt That I was going to have this band at my daughter’s wedding (June 2024). Not only are they fantastic performers, prior to the wedding they worked closely with us making sure every single detail was covered. They made all introductions and kept all activities timed perfectly. Man, can they keep the party moving. I’ve had countless compliments from guests. When we first saw Carnivale in-person at one of BVTLive's Showcases, our parents wondered if we were hiring a band for our wedding or putting on a full-blown concert. There is not enough good things to say about Big Ric and his band. He is so good that he was the band for our son's wedding about a year and a half ago and we hired him right on the spot for our daughter! Big Ric is second to none. Not only is he so much fun, he is a hoot and so good at what he does. The entire wedding was up dancing the entire time and he just kept everything moving. Our guests kept raving about him, as they did for our son's wedding. And, he was totally different for both weddings so he can customize! No one will be disappointed in hiring Big Ric. I don’t even know where to start! BVT and Experience were beyond anything we could have ever dreamed of. Luke was fantastic with communication and scheduling meetings, and made sure we had exactly what we wanted on our day. We knew that Experience was great listening to their showcases, but the online videos don’t even do them justice. They were the best band we’ve ever had the privilege of hearing at a wedding and brought so much energy, and they even gave us a little sneak peak of our song before our reception started. It’s been 3 weeks are we are STILL getting comments from our guests about how amazing they were! Again, if I could give 100 stars I would. Non-Stop Dance Music, a Classy Emcee, and an All Around PERFECT Experience
The Experience Band was a perfect choice for our wedding. We were looking for a combination of contemporary and classic R&B and pop with a brass section and a vibe that will get everyone dancing. The Experience delivered all of that and more. Our wedding was a non-stop dance party and our guests couldn't stop complimenting the band. Luke (the bandleader) was so easy to work with and after one conversation about our taste and desires for the wedding (and some really helpful suggestions about timing and flow of the evening) Luke created a fantastic set list and did an amazing job with the songs they learned especially for us. In addition to their clear musical talent, we were drawn to Luke as an emcee because he is charismatic and fun, but does not take over the evening. The night always felt like it was about us and The Experience Band just added to...well...THE EXPERIENCE! Big Ric was amazing! Ric puts on a great show, a true master at his craft. All of the singers and band members had amazing energy and kept.the party going all night!
