Beautiful Photos - Even on a Rainy Wedding Day!

My husband and I are so pleased with our wedding photos and experience working with Sanaz. She came highly recommended by our venue and offered several packages from which to choose to match our budget and style. She communicated the timeline clearly, from our engagement shoot to pre-wedding prep to wedding day essentials to photo review and a quality album. She captured the joy of our wedding day beautifully, despite the overcast, rainy weather, and she gave us the opportunity to review and rearrange our wedding album photos before the final production. We're very happy with our photos and would happily recommend Sanaz to anyone looking for an expert photographer.

Such a great choice!

It was an absolute pleasure having Sanaz be our wedding photographer! Her pictures came out amazing and she was able to capture the magic of our wedding in every one of them. The engagement photo session that she offered turned out to be critical, as it gave us the opportunity to experience her photography style and informed us about what kind of pictures we wanted taken during our wedding. Sanaz was always open to our suggestions and made it clear at the very beginning that it was our day and she was just there to capture it. Additionally, we appreciated Sanaz's passion for her work as well as her assertiveness for keeping to a schedule and dealing with large groups and family dynamics. We highly recommend Sanaz for photographing any special moment.

Best Decision We Made for Our Big Day!

We chose to work with Butterfly Photography based on her pictures and reviews and when we met in person, we were 100% confident that Sanaz and her team were the right choice! When you work with her, you not only get a professional photographer, but also a great person to consult with on all aspects of your big day to look your best. Her thoughtfulness, flexibility and caring come through immediately to make your day as special as it can be. We were extremely happy as she managed to capture all of the important parts of our engagement session and wedding; the only difficult part was choosing which pictures we wanted for our album since we loved them all! She also had a great selection on albums to choose from and we were more than thrilled to see the final product! We have already recommended her to our friends and continue to keep her in mind for future events since you don't need to worry about anything when you work with her.

Our Best Decision

Sanaz and her team were wonderful to work with! My husband and I are quite camera shy and prefer not to be in the spotlight. You would never know by looking at our pictures; Butterfly Photography did such a great job in capturing us during our engagement shoot and wedding! Sanaz was flexible in meeting our needs, but also gave helpful suggestions through the process. It is clear through her pictures that the purpose of her work is not simply a means of fulfilling a contract, but creating a work of art. I cannot express how amazing Butterfly Photography was on our wedding day. The pictures are second to none and we have had many people comment along the lines of "what an amazing photo!" more than once. Sanaz ran the show quickly and efficiently after our ceremony, getting pictures with family and friends before taking photos of just us (the couple). We were done with pictures and on to our reception quickly, but still had phenomenal pictures. I am a wheelchair user, and Sanaz was still able to capture pictures that highlighted my wife and I, without focusing on my chair. We ended up with not only classic poses, but creative ones as well. She also captured the magic of our ceremony in ways that were truly spectacular, all without taking away from our experience of the ceremony in any way. She is worth every penny and I will suggest her time and again for any of your professional photography needs.

Used Butterfly Photography for a some glamour photos. Sanaz did a wonderful job. She guided me through the shoots with ease, took some wonderful photos and then touched up the photo's to make me look beautiful and 20 years younger. Can't say enough good things about her talent and professionalism. Photo's and products purchased were delivered in record time. Highly recommend her for any photo shoot.

Sanaz and her assistant were amazing from start to finish. Our interactions span over a year because a month before our original wedding day my husband was involved in a tragic accident. Sanaz was so understanding and allowed us to reschedule for almost a year later! She arrived early on the day of the wedding and took the most amazing photos. I honestly got tired of taking pictures but when I saw the finished product it was all worth it!! She's an amazing photographer and very professional you will not regret hiring Butterfly Photography!

Butterfly photography is AMAZING! The entire experience start to end was fantastic. The end product is of great quality and the pictures are stunning. She has a great eye for photos and ensures you look great in them. Great composition. She is very reasonable and provides upgrades options without being pushy for you to make them. Sanaz is an AWESOME photographer. She is very professional and friendly. Very easy to work with and most importantly her number one goal was to ensure the bride and groom were happy. We used Sanaz for our engagement photos and our April 2016 wedding, and could not have been happier with our choice!!! Sanaz and her team are GREAT! My husband and I needed a photographer for our wedding and once we meet her we knew we wanted to use her. Sanaz photographed my boudoir session, our engagement session and wedding. Every time Sanaz photographed me and my husband I felt really comfortable. I hired Butterfly Photography for my engagement photos as well as my wedding. Their pricing was very decent. Sanaz was very organized and professional. She captured every shot beautifully and was filled with great ideas. Every guest that interacted with her had nothing but great things to say about her. I could not ask for a more professional team. They took the time to get to know my husband and I before the wedding and they provided us with examples of their work. In addition, they responded to all of my questions in a very timely manner and I had many questions as I was comparing photographers. The photographs were ready for viewing very shortly after the engagement photographs were taken and very shortly after our wedding. They were very patient with me as I selected my photographs - it took me a while because there were so many great photographs to choose from. I have recommended them to friends and family and will continue to do so.

Sanaz and Fred did a great job doing our wedding. Our wedding album look amazing. we actually upgraded our package since we liked them for our engagement session.
They came early to cover our getting ready time and they were fun to work with.
Compare to other photographers we met, they were prompt and honest and professional.

I found Butterfly Photography through online. Sanaz captured the spirit, emotion and feeling of the day remarkably!we both love the album they put together for us. one of my friend hired another photographer . we married the same time. their album looked like you print it yourself and the quality and design was not great. they even paid more than what we paid to Butterfly Photography.
Our album designed with the images we picked and she put together a very high wuality material album for us. we love it!

We first met Sanaz & Fred at a Bridal Expo in Fredericksburg, VA. We liked their personalities and their photography style from the start, and booked them right after our initial consultation. We did our engagement session with them and they made us feel comfortable right away. On our wedding day, Sanaz and Fred came to the hotel where my husband and I were getting ready to take photos and then traveled with us to the venue. We loved that we were each able to have photos of us getting ready.

Sanaz is truly an artist and she is very creative. She was very professional but fun at the same time. It's obvious that she respects the couple's wishes and will do whatever it takes to get quality photos. This includes standing outside in the cold and wind for good shots on our wedding day, and making sure our guests didn't turn the lights down too low so that we had great, quality images. She is very efficient and doesn't waste any time getting the shots she needs. We were able to do our family, wedding party and bride/groom shots in less than an hour. Also, Sanaz always responded to my emails quickly and answered any questions I had. She also put up a blog post with some of our photos less than 12 hours after our wedding!!! We were able to see the rest of the photos online after only a week and a half. Less than a month after our wedding we have already picked out photos for our album and we will have it by Christmas. She also already asked us to choose songs for a photo slideshow that she is making for us. Butterfly Photography truly goes the extra mile for their clients, and is a great value for the quality and quantity of work that they provide.

OMG Sanaz is AMAZZZZINNNNNGGGG! She is so good my friend that was getting married at the same time used her too based off of my engagement photos alone. I just got my album and it is fantastic!!! Even better than I thought it would be, and I had high expectations. She was the best deal I could find for artistic quality and photo quality as well as all the photos I wanted. I would up with about 2,500 photos and the vast majority of them were so beautiful, I'm so grateful I chose her. She got great family shots of both families and our photos as well, I'll cherish forever
