If you are looking for a wedding DJ for your special day, look no further than Bugsbee’s DJ Plus! My wife and I recently got married at The Venue CU and chose to go with Bugsbee’s and we couldn’t be happier.

My wife and I love music and dancing so this was a crucial piece to get right for our wedding day. Dan met with us on multiple occasions and sent us a form for us to fill out. The form provided us with guidance, allowed us to choose our own music and also gave us ideas on some of the more popular, classic wedding songs as fillers. We had a great mix and having the flexibility to make it our own was super appreciated.

Bugsbee’s has years and years of DJ experience and it shows. Everything went off without a hitch. From timing of the songs during the ceremony to keeping everyone (and I mean everyone) on the dance floor the entire night during the reception.

I would highly recommend going with Bugsbee’s for your big day. You won’t be disappointed.

Robyn was incredible!

Robyn Bunnell was our DJ and she was an incredible DJ! She kept everyone dancing and smiling. She will play whatever you suggest and mix up the music to keep the party going. 10/10 would hire again for any event!

Above and Beyond!

Greg Bugbee from Bugbee's DJ Plus DJed for our wedding this past August and we could not have asked for a better DJ! Music and dancing was the thing that we cared about the most for our reception and our experience with him was above and beyond! He provided us with the perfect combination of professionalism and fun! He brought up questions for things we hadn't even thought of and was extremely helpful! He listened to every detail and concern we had and really helped make it the best day of our lives. I would and will recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Dan is the best DJ!

Dan was amazing!!!! Bugbee's is super easy to plan with and very knowledgeable. Dan had all the answers, gave great suggestions when we weren't sure what direction to go in and went along with all our personal details! We had Dan do bar trivia during our cocktail hour and it was a hit with the guests! We highly recommend Dan and Bugbee's for any event!! Oh, and their prices are super reasonable too!!!!

DJ Robyn is the best!

When we were planning our wedding the DJ was a very important detail. We had both previously been to weddings where no one danced and we knew that is not what we wanted. After speaking with Robyn we felt very comfortable with her talent and she more than delivered! Robyn does a great job of pre-planning (songs to be played, songs not to be played, who can and cannot have the mic!). The day of our wedding she showed up early , got everything set up. She played a great mix of fast and slow songs as well as participation songs. Highlight of the night on the dance floor was Robyn and our parents dancing to Flo Rida. We also booked a photo booth which was a great addition to the night! I cannot recommend Robyn and Bugbee enough. Thank you so much Robyn and Bugbee's DJ Plus!

Amazing experience - detailed, fun, affordable DJ!

We are very happy with our choice to go with Bugbee's DJ Plus for wedding this past summer. Roger was the perfect DJ and helped make our big day that much more special. From the very start all the way through our wedding day, Roger made us feel comfortable and assured us the music we wanted to be played would be - people were out on the dance floor from the first to the last song. He was proactive during the planning phase and was very flexible whether we wanted him to provide suggestions or provide just about all the music ourselves. I would highly recommend working with Bugbee's and Roger specifically!

DJ Roger Young Rocked!!

Bugbee's Dj Plus did not disappoint! DJ Roger Young was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning Roger put a personal touch on our daughter's wedding. He met with our family well before the big day to plan out the evening, review song options, deciding what group dances we wanted, any games we wanted, and every other detail we did or did not think of. Before the wedding he emailed us a very detailed agenda for how the night would play out. Then the night of our big event, he ROCKED! He was very personable, kept the events of the night moving along, and packed the dance floor all night long! There was not a song that the dance floor emptied from start to finish! DJ Roger was very professional and everyone absolutely loved him and had a blast! I would highly recommend Bugbee's Dj Plus!!!

Greg you are the BEST!

We had Greg as our DJ and we loved how professional and thorough he was! I had no idea what to look for when hiring a DJ besides going off of reviews. Greg FaceTimed with us a couple months before the wedding so we were able to chat with him and get to know him a bit more since we lived 10 hours away from our venue. Greg was great with communication and ran the reception without a hitch! He kept the dance floor full and he played songs we requested all night long. I could have danced the night away for another 5 hours thanks to him. Thank you Greg from the bottom of our hearts!!

Excellent Experience!

We are SO happy that we booked Bugbee's DJ for our wedding! Dan was our DJ and he did a phenomenal job. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night and listened to all our requests for various songs. My husband and I really couldn't believe how well he executed our vision for the music at our wedding. Best dj ever

am so glad I picked Bugbee’s for my DJ! I specifically asked for Dan Church, and he did not disappoint. He was VERY professional and organized. He made sure things got done & also made sure our guests had the best time possible. I highly recommend renting the photo booth as well. Every time I looked over there a group of people were enjoying it! You even get a book with all the pictures at the end of the night. I don’t have any regrets with this company!

Greg did a fantastic job at our Wedding Celebration. It was a little different than a standard reception and he was great at assisting us in achieving our idea for the celebration. Wedding Reception

Words can not express how grateful my Wife and I are for hiring Bugbee’s DJ plus for our wedding reception. We received numerous compliments from our guests on how awesome our DJ was and questions on where we found him. Long story short, Bugbee’s came through for us. Due to unfortunate circumstances, we moved our original wedding date up 7 months and planned it in 4 weeks. Greg and his team made the night happen without a hitch. You will not regret going with this company. They keep it professional all the while creating your personal touch to the event. We can't thank the Bugbee's DJ team enough! Greg and Cassie were so helpful leading up to our wedding. Because we live out of state, they met with us via phone & Skype to discuss our timeline, playlists, and helped us with any outstanding questions we had. Cassie did such an amazing job at our reception. She was so timely, came with a smile on face and so easy to work with. Dan Church was such an amazing DJ!!! You NEED an amazing person like Dan to take care of all the reception timeline details, work with your caterer, and keep the night moving along. We had no dead time where people were like "uhh what's happening?" AND you need a DJ that will read the room and play the music folks want. Our group didn't even fit on the dance floor and it was like that until 11pm. It was amazing. Dan did both, with such professionalism, and more!! Thank you so much Dan. You're the best.

If we could give Bugbee's DJ Plus a 6-star rating, we would. My husband and I were married on June 8, 2018, and we had the privilege of having Greg Bugbee with us for our entire wedding day. He provided all sound, music, MCing for both our ceremony and reception. Greg has done my 2 older sisters' weddings as well, so he is practically family to us now! Greg, and his entire team, are extremely personable, responsive, and passionate in the work that they do and they provide an exceptional and memorable experience for everyone involved! We received multiple comments on how professional and FUN our DJ was. We especially liked how catering Greg was to what my husband and I wished for the day of. He sent us a list of 200 top wedding songs and we were able to filter through the song list and decide which songs we NEEDED played, did NOT want played, or didn't care if they were played or not, as well as provide a list of special requests. Greg was incredibly involved and responsive with my husband and I the entire process leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day itself, always making sure everything was running as smoothly as possible and exactly as WE wanted it, and always making sure we were enjoying ourselves. We couldn't have done the day without the incredible role that Greg and his team played. Not only is Greg and his team professional, but they are so much FUN. They are an excitable bunch and just a joy to be around. It's obvious that they love the work that they do and love the people that they provide services for. Greg is an all around great guy, and puts everything he has into making your day the best day ever. Our wedding day would not have been the same without Greg and his team, and it was an honor to US to be able to share our day with them!! We would (and have), without a doubt, recommend Bugbee DJ's Plus to all friends and family and strangers in search of a wonderful DJ!

Dan from Bugbee's was an amazing DJ for my wedding. He was very accomodating during the planning process as we were planning long distance. He really got the fun vibe we were going for and I didn't leave the dance floor even a single time the entire night. Roger Young from Bugbee's was outstanding. He was very responsive and helped us organize the flow of the wedding day to make sure everyone had a good time and it was stress free for the bride and groom! He even grabbed our first drink for us! Outside of getting everything lined up, he set up early and was always available for questions which was great. He also knew how to keep the party going and had everyone on the dance floor. They did a great job and I was so happy with the final product and ROGER did such a good job running the flow of our reception. Communication was great for the entire 7 months leading up to the wedding and was recommended by another wedding vendor. He introduced himself to my parents the grooms parents and coordinated with out wedding planner with out me asking him too. If you need a good DJ then I would HIGHLY recommend Bugbee’s DJ plus.

Dan did an amazing job as our reception DJ! He worked with us in advance to select the songs we wanted to have played for our guests and also to create a timeline for the reception. He accommodated our special requests and was friendly, pleasant, and professional. During the reception, Dan was conscious of the timing for the special parts of the evening and communicated with us throughout the night too. Bugbee's DJ Plus was awesome! They were prompt, professional, and above all....personable! Dan and Greg were so easy to work with. Dan was an awesome DJ!! 100% WOULD pick these guys in an INSTANT!

We celebrated our wedding just last weekend and we had Roger as our DJ. He was AWESOME! He played all the songs we asked and when we were unsure of what song to use during parts of the day he was great at giving us song choices! We had the joy of getting to know both him and his wife Lindsay who ran the photobooth, she as well was AMAZING! The photobooth is totally worth getting on top of a kick butt DJ! You get to have a copy of all the photo strips put into a scrapbook (which Lindsay handles cutting and sticking and makes it look nice!), the awesome thing about that is that she gives space for people to leave a nice note to you after they leave the photobooth. It was a really awesome addition and we ended up with more people using that than our actual guest book (which I secretly now love more than our guest book. haha.)

All in all Bugbee's DJ Plus is truly AMAZING. Everything went SO smooth, Roger showed up for Rehearsal to make sure all acoustics worked well with our Barn venue and that everything ran smooth. He was the first one to refill our glasses and take care of our plates at the table. At one point my dad said "Geesh you really do take care of everything on the day of don't you" and Rogers reply was "that's the 'Plus' part of the business, I don't want to see Mom or Dad doing anything."

I would recommend this duo and the company to ANYONE! My brother and his fiance are getting married in June 2018 and while at our wedding they decided to forget about the two companies they were debating between and actually BOOKED Bugbee's for next June. We CAN'T WAIT to see Roger and Lindsay again, YOU. TWO. ROCK!!! (literally ;) ) THANKS Bugbee's!!!

The moment my husband and I met Dan from Bugbee's DJ Plus we knew we hit jack pot. They are the best to work with and for anything in the future we will be contacting them. Dan was always professional. He corresponded to our emails and then eventually text messages within a responsible response time. He thought of things and even gave recommendations such as all navy blue lighting that gave the room a special touch. Also, not once was the dance floor empty until we absolutely had to shut down. The photobooth was awesome! Alexis was a hit as well! She prompted people and encouraged people to use props with the photobooth. The room in the booth was spacious. Enough for 6 adults! I can go on and on about their services but I think you all get my point. Hands down a great overall experience. Thank you Bugbee's and Dj Dan for making our day and the planning special and easy.

We recently hired Bugbee's DJ Plus for our daughters wedding and we were so impressed with the level of personal and professional service we felt the need to comment here. DJ Roger met with the kids months before their wedding day and came prepared with an easy to follow ceremony outline to assist with planning.
On the day of rehearsal DJ Roger had his music and photo booth all set up and was efficient, fun and confident in getting everyone in the bridal party organized for the big day.
The Wedding was perfect in every way and everyone enjoyed a fun filled evening of dancing with the perfect mix of music. The photo booth, run by DJ Rogers wife Lindsay was a huge hit as well. She kept things running smooth and provided the guests with a film strip of their fun photos along with a scrap book for the kids containing photos that the guest could write a personal message, very cool! Roger and Lindsay went above and beyond with other details involved in the ceremony and reception, all we can say is "Wow and thank you"!!
Looking forward to a spring 2018 wedding for our son and hopeful that DJ Roger and Lindsay will be available.

Dan (DJ) and Miranda(photo booth) Church worked our wedding and I cannot tell you how many compliments we had on how well they did. Dan was such a great DJ and made the night transition so smoothly! We are so glad we chose to work with Bugbee's DJ Plus for our wedding. We knew right away that we wanted Dan to DJ our wedding. He was so easy to work with and we were able to be as involved as we wanted to in the song selection. He responds quickly and thoroughly to emails. Dan even came the day before our wedding to set up while we were there so we got to touch base on a couple of logistic details which was helpful in easing any worries or nerves. I cannot recommend Greg and his team highly enough. My wife and I love music and dancing so we knew we wanted a huge dance party at our reception. As a professional musician myself I had very high expectations while interviewing potential DJ's. After just a few minutes of conversation, though, we knew we wanted to partner with Greg. I think he DJ's so well because he is personally passionate about music. While planning our reception, he helped us craft a "musical vision" for the whole evening and then he executed it PERFECTLY. Honestly, our dance party was a blast and we have to give Greg most of the credit for it. He kept the party going all night. Thank you, Greg!

Planning a wedding is hard enough, but to us, one of the most important parts was the music. Dan had a great list of music for us to look through so that we could pick our favorites, and remove the ones we hate! He was easy to work with, responsive and listened to us! Dan worked the crowd the night of the wedding- we needed to appease the older crowd earlier, then bring in the new hits. The feedback I've gotten from my wedding guests was that it was so much fun, and everyone was on the dance floor. I'd say 90% of the people there! No joke! Overall, would highly recommend Dan and Bugbee's DJ.

If we could give SIX stars that is what I would give Greg and Bugbee’s DJ Plus. Greg was the DJ and de facto emcee for my daughter’s wedding over Memorial Day weekend. He was FABULOUS!! Everything you could want in a DJ – professional, prepared and fun! He spent time with my daughter and her fiancée beforehand to get a feel for the kind of music they liked and for how the reception would flow. He consulted with my wife and me to be sure we were comfortable with the set up. In every aspect, he exceeded our expectations. I can’t recommend Greg and his company any more highly.

We used Bugbee's DJ Plus for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we could have made! Dan was our DJ and he was FANTASTIC. He knew exactly what songs to play to keep the ebb and flow of the dance floor going, and he was very respectful of our wishes. Everyone commented on what a great DJ we had, and they were right! We also used their photobooth service which just added another great layer to our wedding day. People had so much fun using it during the reception, and we had a lot of fun going through the memory book at the end of the night. We are so happy with our experience with Dan, and we would recommend Bugbee's to anyone getting married. Amazing service!

I am so impressed with Bugbee's! I recently booked Bugbee's for a nonprofit fundraiser held in November. Not only were they professional and prompt to respond via email, they did an amazing job of interacting with the crowd and getting everyone out on the dance floor! For the event, they provided DJ, uplighting, & photobooth services. Everyone said how much fun the photobooth and props were and the uplighting was fantastic. Cannot recommend them enough- I wouldn't hesitate to book them for any event!

I would like to begin my review by highly recommending Bugbee’s DJ Plus to any couple looking for a spectacular DJ for your reception. A special thanks to Roger Young, our DJ for our reception, who put on a spectacular night of dancing and fun for us and all of our guests. From the initial contact with Bugbee’s I was impressed. The company was incredibly timely in responding with their initial quote of services and worked with me every step of the way. There was never any question as to our contract and everything with the company was handled via email. Our special DJ (Rodger “Dodger” Young) was also incredible. From the moment we met him we knew we had a “rockstar”. He made sure that the night was our night and he would do everything to make it special and as we wanted. He has a great sense of humor and was also very dedicated to answering our questions in a very timely manner. We were made to feel as if we were his only clients through the entire process. Bugbee’s DJ Plus has several options to select from to make your reception a night that will fit your needs and dreams. Hiring Bugbee's Plus DJ was one of the BEST decisions I made for my wedding. Initially, I was incredibly nervous about hiring a DJ. I read scary reviews of other DJ companies online and how they ruined the reception. I was so relieved when I found Bugbee's and felt even better when I met with Greg and Dan. They are extremely friendly and professional. Dan Church and Cody Frailey were so fun to have as DJs and got everyone up on their feet dancing the whole time. I highly, highly recommend having them at your wedding.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Greg and his amazing business!!! He is incredibly professional (I mean he brought an array of ties to match our wedding theme) and really wanted to capture who we were as a couple. He took the time to meet up with us before the wedding to get to know us better and the kind of music and style we wanted. He didn't even flinch when we let him know that I wanted to walk down the aisle to Concerning Hobbits from Lord of the Rings. He made our day beautiful and completely 100% us. If you are thinking about hiring a wedding planner for the day of, save your money and hire Greg. He had everything planned out and kept all of the stress off of us, he replaced champagne in the Bridal Party glasses for the toast and handled the caterers. He kept the night moving and running smoothly and got everyone on the dance floor! The snowball dance was amazing and I am so glad he recommended it. When our daughter got engaged the only dj that we wanted was one from Bugbee's DJ Plus. Having known Greg from church, I asked if he could be our dj and he agreed. Greg is top notch at what he does and the professionalism that he showed at the reception was awesome. As a mother of the bride, he knew I was worried about all the details for planning a wedding from the start, and he helped make the reception flow flawlessly and everyone enjoyed themselves so much! He made sure to check with the wedding party on the pronunciation of their names for the introductions. When I had a couple of day before the wedding requests he honored those, no problem! He gets out on the dance floor to show people how to do line dances, and the snowball dance was my favorite. You get everyone on the dance floor and it's so much fun!!! You will not go wrong with having Greg and his employees at your wedding reception. Professionalism at its finest!!!

By chance we used Bugbee's DJ Plus in July 2011 for our oldest daughter's wedding and we were so impressed with Greg Bugbee's DJing service. He made the reception very fun and we had so many positive comments from both young and old. That time I sent so many emails pre-wedding and he answered every one quickly.
August 2016 our youngest daughter was married 2 1/2 hours North of Champaign, IL. On a whim I sent Greg an email to see if they would go that far. Like in 2011, he answered my email the same day and I was happy to hear Bugbee's DJ Plus would travel that far (for no additional travel fee ... amazing!!!). Again Greg made the reception a very fun event. Even the owners of the venue commented they have never seen so many people on their dance floor at once. The quality of service we received from Bugbee's was worth far more than the amount we paid. Both of my daughters lived out of state for their weddings and Greg worked with them with their limited availability for their pre-wedding meetings and song selections. I only have 100% positive comments about this company and their service. A++++++

We first contacted Bugbee's DJ after our first DJ back out on us. We contacted them with a little over three months left till the big day. Let me just say that we were more than a little stressed.

We met with Roger. He was so wonderful and put us at ease right away. He came prepared with lists of what he would need from us and suggestions for the big day. We were more than just a little clueless when it came to music for the reception.

He let us know all that Bugbee's had to offer in terms of music, lighting, and what we could expect as him as our DJ. From that moment on we were sold. Rodger put us completely at ease. He gave us a list of what he needed from us and when he would need it by. It was great!

Roger reached out to us a few times before the wedding, to check in on how we were and if there was anything we needed until the big day.

We had our venue space the day before our Wedding, so Roger came and set up all his equipment, so that there would be little to worry about the following day. He also double checked all of the information with my husband and me to make sure he had all the names right and music right.

When the big day came and the reception was in full swing, we did not have to worry about a thing. Roger kept the party going and people on the dance floor. There was never a lull or dull moment. And everyone raved about the music and his service.

On top of Roger keeping the party going the whole night, he went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect for us. He kept us informed of when we had to be where, he cut the remaining cake and served it to the bridal party and our parents, he also made sure all our glasses at the head table were full for the toasts. He was so wonderful.

I have been going on an on...so I will leave my review with this:

I would give Bugbee's DJ's a 10/10. If you are thinking about using them, do. If you can get Roger as your DJ do that too!

Blown away by the incredible service! Dan was the DJ for our wedding reception, and he did a fantastic job. Everything about the process, from our first meeting to our final planning session to the day of the wedding, was flawless! Dan had an awesome DJ personality, was super friendly and fun to work with, and was very flexible/accommodating for our wedding day schedule. It's often up to the DJ to keep the party going at wedding receptions, and with Bugbee's we had no worry. Dan kept people on the dance floor all night long and helped us progress the party from start to finish. The evening was truly flawless - thanks Dan! We highly recommend Bugbee's!

AMAZING! Greg was wonderful from the first time we met until moment we said goodbye. He completely catered to all our needs and requests and helped the evening flow perfectly! The dance floor was full ALL NIGHT! During and after the party I received compliments regarding how amazing he was. Greg really made our reception the party we always dreamed it would be. Bugbee's DJ Plus cannot be beat! We were blessed to have Greg for our daughter's wedding and my husband told me 20 minutes into the reception, "I don't know what we paid him but he's worth double!" He took everything over from the lighting, introducing the people making toasts, me saying the prayer, all of the special dances (daddy-daughter, dollar dance), got out on the floor to demonstrate how to do the line dances and supplied a fabulous photo booth that his very competent, professional and fun daughter, Miranda, took care of and while doing that, compiled a book of the pictures that were taken and gave it to the newly weds before we left the reception! They are absolutely amazing and we cannot say enough good about them!

Bugbee's DJ plus was more than great for us! We had Greg as our DJ and we cannot say enough good things about him. He was very responsive throughout the whole planning process and tailored our reception to express us! He also made sure everyone at the reception had a good time. We are incredibly happy that we selected DJ Bugbee's Plus for our wedding reception. They were prompt, courteous, and did not pressure us into things we did not want or need. Dan Church was our DJ at our Wedding and he was AWESOME!! He made it easy for us to relax and enjoy the reception of our wedding. He gave us options for the music and party, but he was also completely flexible so we could have everything just like we always wanted it. we chose this vendor based on reviews on websites like this and we were completely right to do so. Our two requests were a dj that is not obnoxious and that played what we want and we got exactly that. We needed someone to organize everything and Dan did a great job. My favorite thing about him was that he never butted in to tell me " HEY it's time for this! I.e. Garter toss, first dance etc. He just sort of made himself seen without interrupting my million conversations and then I was able to go to him and say " yes I'm here". The night flowed perfectly with all our favorite songs. We received tons of compliments on our dj and the overall event and we could not have been more pleased. Trust these reviews. On the day of the wedding we arrived at the venue an hour earlier than I had planned, but Greg rolled with it. I wanted to insert a receiving line into our planned schedule and he made it happen smoothly without any trouble at all. He carefully checked the pronunciation of all the bridal party's names and announced us with great energy and clarity of speech. Throughout the evening he checked in with us to make sure we were happy, and we were!

Dan Church was the DJ for our reception and his wife Miranda ran the photo booth. I can not say enough good things about the two of them! They both went above and beyond for us! First off, from the first time we met with Dan to discuss options for our reception, he was in continuous contact with us throughout the whole planning phase. Dan explained to us what Bugbee's could offer, and we loved him so much that we asked for him specifically to be our DJ. He is laid back, personable, and very organized. Whenever I had a question, I would contact him through email, and he would respond very quickly. He helped us create the perfect custom monogram that looked amazing in the reception hall. The night of the reception went perfect - actually more than perfect. Dan was there with us throughout the whole night. We had him play his own playlist for the cocktail hour and dinner. He made sure the whole bridal party got announced exactly how they wanted, and was able to keep our timeline for the reception. For the reception, I had a couple of songs that we requested to be played, but told him to play whatever he wanted to keep the party going! He kept the party going the whole night long, and we had a very long reception! My family is STILL talking about how much fun they had! His wife Miranda ran the photo booth, which everyone loved! All of our family and our friends went into the photo booth multiple times! We got the package where we had a photo book that friends and family could put there pictures in and write a little note to us. Miranda did such an amazing job with it! She made sure that everyone that was at the wedding was in the there and that they signed it as well! We love our photo book, and am so glad we have this as a memory of our wedding night! :-)

We loved Bugbee's!!! Dan and Miranda took so much stress off our shoulders. We would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Dan Church with Bugbee's DJ Plus was a savior to our wedding. He was hired as a DJ, but ended up going above and beyond, and doing what I'm sure is not even part of his job description!
I figured DJ was simple, you hire someone they play music. There are so many things you don't even think about that are important, but he has them covered! When I was overwhelmed, his experience and tips for what to do play, or the order to do things, was perfect, and he explained the reasoning for why the flow of speeches, dances, etc., works well in a certain way, and it did. He gave tips when needed but was flexible with what we wanted, even when we changed things the day of. Any song I mentioned (you need specific songs for many parts of the wedding) he found, and even edited them to start at stop at specific times like I asked. He made sure every detail was figured out ahead of time, so that the day of he could do exactly what we wanted without us being interrupted. During the event he was always able to read the guests and the energy and know what to play to keep everyone involved and having fun.
When my venue coordinator showed a lack of control over the event, he stepped in. He was the one controlling the organization and flow of the entire event, and I truly feel if he hadn't been there it would have been a mess.
Trust me, a DJ is one of the most important parts of your wedding - when you think about they control the mood and the energy (and the flow) of the whole night, and it can make or break you wedding. We are so lucky Dan was there!

Dan and Miranda made our event more fun and memorable than we could have hoped for. They were quick to respond to our requests, and even quicker to ensure that everything was unique and special for our event. We found the best value in town and the most professional DJs to be at Bugbees. I was really excited to book with them because they actually seem to care about us and our wedding! Very responsive and ready to make this day special.

We could not have been more pleased with our service from BugBee's DJ Plus. Greg was fantastic and kept the events moving throughout the night. He had excellent music selections. We had great communication before the wedding and he really wanted to get to know what we liked so he could help make our night perfect. The up-lighting was was beautiful and perfect. We also opted for a monogram and Greg had us choose our monogram and brought the equipment to display it. We had nothing but compliments regarding him being our MC, everyone was amazed at how well everything flowed throughtout the evening. Our photographer and caterer were beyond pleased with the flow as well. I would highly recommend BugBee's DJ Plus to anyone planning and event.

Dan was great through planning, very prompt in returning emails. They also provided a photo booth with props, which everyone at the party loved! We got access to all the photos and everyone's still talking about it! Very considerate of our likes and dislikes and of what they were playing or asked to play based on who was present.

Dan Church was the MC at our wedding reception. With all the madness that comes on your wedding day, and when you're being pulled in many directions for final preparations its very important that your DJ need minimal instruction on where to go, on what to do, or on how to do it. Dan fought Friday rush hour traffic into the heart of downtown Chicago on a rainy day, arrived early and took care of business. He was professional and courteous and did an excellent job on our reception. He was polite and you could sense that he genuinely wanted to make the day memorable for us and our guests. He did! Great job Dan!

Greg (DJ) and Roger (photobooth attendant) made our wedding even more incredible than we had expected. I really asked a lot of Greg by having him lead several games during the reception and asking him to play music that he had likely never heard before. He was excellent at communicating what he needed from me in order to make that happen, and I was not disappointed. He took everything I gave him and amplified it to fit our event by including us and utilizing Roger as a co-host of sorts. Greg made several announcements for us at our request and on his own when he wanted to get people's music requests. Roger was an amazing photobooth attendant who bantered with people coming to the photobooth for the first time and the 30th time, and I'm pretty sure I saw him in some of my guests photos. Oh, and make sure you ask for the Memory book! I would highly recommend this duo for any event - you will not be disappointed. They are two of the most helpful, respectful and fun guys you will ever have the pleasure of working with. We had compliments throughout the night about how great both Greg and Roger were.

So happy I chose Bugbee's DJ Plus and had Roger Young (and his wife Lindsay) at our wedding. He was the most attentive DJ and helped make our wedding so special. We had several special requests and Roger made all of them happen for us. He even made my husband's Aunt cry with joy because one our our special request was that we try and honor her and couldn't come up with anything and he said he would say something special and boy did he. She was so touched and this is just a small gesture that puts this company above the rest! His special toast that he made for us, meant a lot and I am not sure any other DJ would have done anything that personal. Roger is a true gem. Our dance floor was hopping all night long and Roger truly listened to us when we asked for certain songs to be played and others to be omitted. Couldn't have been happier with my choice for the DJ at our wedding. Had a lot of people tell me what a great time they had and I know it was because of Roger Young and Bugbee's DJ Plus. Thank you so much!!

We chose Bugbee's DJ Plus based off previous reviews and we are VERY glad we did. Dan was our DJ and he was amazing. He made the whole process very easy and had our guests dancing from start to finish. We also rented the Photo booth through Bugbee's and it was a huge hit with our guests. It was in use from the time it opened until the time it closed. I would highly recommend Dan and Bugbee's DJ Plus!

For us, deciding to go with Bugbee's DJ Plus was an easy choice. My sister and her husband worked with them 5 years prior for their own wedding reception. When my husband and I were researching bands versus DJs for our own wedding reception, we quickly agreed that Bugbee's was the best company to select, by leaps and bounds. We were familiar with the company and their level of professionalism and great rapport with their clients, as not only has family selected them for previous weddings but many of our Champaign friends have used their services as well. It really says a great deal at a wedding reception when everyone is out of their seats and on the dance floor - that is how it was all night long! Dan C., our DJ, did an amazing job of coinciding our own suggested playlist with those of his choice, that matched the overall "feel" of the night and the mood of our guests. We could not have envisioned a more perfect wedding reception and were so grateful to work so fluidly with Dan C. Our guests kept saying how much they loved all the music, were having a blast the whole time - we even had our crowd that was still partying and dancing at the last song chanting "One more song! One more song!" Dan was such a great sport and played another GREAT (second) last song. Such a fun, final wedding reception my husband and our families share because of Dan! We would highly, highly recommend Bugbee's time and time again to those who are looking for an outstanding company to work with! Thanks again, Bugbee's & Dan!!

Can't thank Roger enough! He made sure everything ran smoothly start to finish and couldn't have been friendlier! He was detailed, easy to communicate with and more than willing to accommodate the rustic venue and crazy weather that brought rain, hail and sleet! He played music according to our selections and did not deviate from it unless confirming with us! Needless to say, we had nothing but compliments on the evening and the fun. A DJ can definitely make or break an event, and in this case EVERYONE we spoke to said it was the best wedding and most fun they have ever had. We owe a GIANT thank you to Roger for being super flexible and he paired nicely with our friends and family with his humor and charisma. We also had the photo booth with our package, and his wife did a great job putting together our book to preserve the interesting memories our friends and family captured. We worked with DAN, and he was wonderful! We couldn't be happier that we chose him to DJ our wedding. Dan was patient with my changes and various last minute crazy requests. We met with two DJ's before meeting with Dan and we were not impressed, they were either too inflexible and/or not personal. When meeting with Dan, right away, he made it clear that he wanted to create an atmosphere that we had in mind when it came to music choices. Dan was very kind and thoughtful to our family and friends who made music requests as well. My 6 yr old nephew, loved Dan so much, he kept wanting to hang out with Dan. Dan helped keep the flow of the evening. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Bugbee's DJ, Dan. Thank you Dan, for being the perfect DJ for our special day.

Our DJ for our wedding was Greg. We LOVED him. He is extremely organized and well prepared, and made us feel completely comfortable leaving the entertainment and timing of everything up to him. We had some special requests for introductions of our bridal party, and he nailed it! He also went above and beyond to work with our maid of honor on her speech. We left all lighting decision up to him, and he did a fantastic job. We had many guests complement on how fun our DJ was, and we couldn't agree more!

We have a sock hop at our school at the end of each year and Dan has DJ'd this event for the past three years. This event is a highlight of the school year because of the amazing music and the energy that Dan has with the kids! He always gets both the students AND the teachers dancing!

I would HIGHLY recommend Bugbee's DJ Plus. Greg did our wedding and did a great job. I also attended a couple of weddings that Dan did, and he did a great job too. Greg really took responsibility for being the MC of our reception and making sure everything ran smoothly the whole night. He paid attention to all the details that you may not even consider, such as does the head table have champagne in their glasses for the Maid of Honor/Best Man speeches and toasts. Greg also made it really easy to pick out all the music for the night. They work off a Top 200 List for you to easily add and remove songs.

My wife and I had our dream wedding reception and Greg Bugbee and Bugbee's DJ Plus were one of the main reasons why. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

First off, Greg is INCREDIBLY responsive and timely with emails and phone calls. Greg's rates were among the best and most competitive in the area. And Greg is just a kind, friendly and fun guy to be around. We were just so impressed by Greg's professionalism, reliability, experience and commitment to detail.

Greg was not only our DJ and Emcee but helped us think through and plan our entire reception to make sure the event would go smoothly and cater to the different types of people we'd have at our wedding, dancers vs non-dancers, drinkers vs non-drinkers, old vs young, etc.

In our first meeting, he came incredibly prepared and has done SO many different types of events that he was able to answer every question and help us think through a lot of the complexities of executing a wedding reception.

And throughout the whole planning process, it was clear to us that Greg's priority was making sure that every single guest had a great time at our wedding reception.

And that was exactly what happened.

Greg somehow managed to appeal to every demographic at our reception: our elderly relatives from Asia, the young clubbing-types, the more conservative non-drinkers/non-dancers, kids and everyone in between.

Throughout the weeks after our reception we kept hearing variations of this:

"Who was that DJ guy? He was amazing!!"

Many of our friends and family said it was the most fun they've had at a wedding reception.

So in conclusion, we are so happy to write this review because we hope that many engaged couples will have a chance to work with Greg and his amazing team.

Bugbee's DJ Plus provided a photo booth at our annual Walk for Autism Awareness event for our organization. They were timely and professional. It was a very nice set up and the families were so thrilled and pleased with having this special attraction at our event. The booth was set up with fun props and the families had great fun with that! The photos were posted and all who participated were able to view their photos.
Thank you for providing this fun addition to our event!

Greg has become our "family dj"! He played for my sister's wedding in 2009 and we booked him again for mine in May 2014. Greg is amazing to work with and he knows so much about music that we could trust him to make all the music choices once he got to know our style. We tend to compare him to other wedding DJs we hear and there is no comparison. Our dance floor was packed all night long and that was due to Greg and his song choices that keep people dancing! Many guests commented how great the DJ was and we had to respond with "I know" because we truly do know that he is the best! In our family we believe the DJ makes or breaks the reception and choosing Greg was the best choice we made for our reception to be the party we wanted it to be! Everything was very smooth thanks to his expertise, and he even added visual appeal with uplighting and our monogram. I HIGHLY recommend Bugbee DJ!

We really couldn't be happier with the service that we received from Bugbee's DJ. Roger was our DJ and Lindsey ran the photo booth. They both helped make our day perfect and kept our guests very happy! Renting a photo booth was the best decision that we made because everyone loved it!! Greg and Bugbee's DJ Plus is honestly THE BEST!!!! I was the matron of honor at my best friends wedding and I reached out to Greg for help with my toast. I wanted to do something special, and he went above and beyond to help me out. I asked for his help in putting together a "rap" to the tune of "Ice Ice Baby", and he was more than happy to oblige. He even downloaded the music for me. When the moment came, he didn't miss a beat, and everything was fantastic!!!! For the remainder of the night, the dance floor was packed. He played all the right music, and kept the crowd engaged. It was truly amazing. Thank you Greg for making that night so special. You are the BEST at what you do!!!!

Dan was an awesome DJ! He was even somewhat of a coordinator. He kept the party going, really paid attention to the guests, and kept me sane by keeping the show running smoothly. There were things I would never have thought of organizing that he had already prepared for. The flow of the wedding was perfect, and all of our guests keep telling us how much of a good time they had.

Dan was a wonderful addition to our wedding reception. In fact, we couldn't imagine it without him! He was there guiding and directing us from the moment the limo pulled up outside the banquet center to the very last song. Dan knew exactly how to get the party started and kept it going all night long!
The room looked beautiful with the addition of the uplighting - it really set the mood for the whole evening.
In addition to the music, Dan never let the production of the evening go awry (even though we tried to throw him for a loop with extra toasts!). The flow of the evening was perfect, everything went off without a hitch and it was all thanks to his expertise and professionalism.
The photobooth was probably the most memorable part of the evening, especially for our guests!! They loved it!! I am so glad we decided to utilize that service and am so thankful to Greg for offering it!
The whole package - DJ, uplighting and photobooth - truly made our night the best we could have ever imagined. We are so grateful to the Bugbee DJ team for making this an experience we will treasure always and one that our guests are STILL talking about!!

I would recommend Bugbee's DJ Plus to ANYONE needing a wedding or event DJ. I actually hired them based on a recommendation from a friend who got married a few years ago. Clearly nothing has changed for the worse with them, as they gave stellar service at my wedding. I was a bit of a high maintenance bride (in my opinion at least) when it came to the list of songs I wanted played (and more importantly, NOT played) and Dan was incredibly patient and helpful to me with that. He also essentially helped coordinate the timeline of my reception and helped me make decisions that I think really added to the flow of the party. It was an incredible evening and the guests are still telling me how great the music was! Bugbee's is excellent, don't hesitate to hire them, they are truly worth every penny!

Dan Church and the Bugbee's team did a phenomenal job at our reception. Dan did a great job with the music selection and keeping our guests engaged throughout the evening. Greg was our DJ at our wedding reception and played the keyboard at our wedding ceremony. He did an AMAZING job at our wedding! Greg is more than just a DJ to us, he is a great friend and we were so glad to celebrate with him and his family that day. Greg performed during our ceremony on the keyboard and it sounded beautiful, all of our guest were very impressed. Greg projected a monogram during our reception and it was great, it was very clear and made our reception come together. Greg was an excellent DJ, all of the music we wanted to have he played, we trusted his experience and the decisions he suggested. We wanted our guests to dance and our dance floor was full all night long. We could not have asked for a better friend and DJ during our day. Greg was very professional and quick to respond and so fun to work with. He made it very special for us and all of our guests loved all of the music that day. All we hear from our family and friends is your DJ was amazing and he kept the party up all night long. We loved everything he did and it meant so much to us to have him be there.
