We worked with Stacy from Plant Place and Flower Basket for our wedding. I can't tell you what a pleasure she was! We got everything we needed while remaining in our budget and the flowers turned out absolutely gorgeous. We got so many compliments on our centerpieces as well as my and my bridesmaid's bouquets. They were STUNNING. Stacy also decorated our sweetheart table with beautiful greenery and gorgeous garden roses. We cannot wait to get our photos back from the photographer to see everything again!! I still can't get over my stunning bouquet that was filled with white hydrangeas and peonies. Again, so many compliments!!
They were affordable and incorporated all of our ideas into such a magical wedding. The flowers were really the icing on the cake that took our wedding to the next level!

Jonna was a great coordinator when talking about how i wanted my bouquet of flowers for my day. she was even able to coordinate with my bakery where my cake was being made and had the flowers delivered to them for my cake. Both Items where better then I've ever could've dreamed of. I truly felt special with how wonderful everything turned out.

From our very first meeting, it was clear that Plant Place totally "got" what I was trying to describe as the overall look for my wedding flowers (as someone who wanted "wildflowers" in jewel tones - but, frankly, had no idea what flowers actually constituted wildflowers, this was no small feat!) Admittedly, too, I'd first met with another florist at the recommendation of my venue and others - and their ideas were so far off from my concept that I was worried I wouldn't find someone to execute my vision. It was SUCH a relief meeting with Plant Place following - and, on top of sharing my vision, they were also far more reasonable than the "competition". I'd worked most closely with Johna throughout, and made a series of revisions to my order over the course of planning (including adding a chuppah) - but Johna was patient and understanding all along, and was willing to review a Pinterest board I'd compiled with ideas (I needed the visuals for myself, since I didn't actually know which flowers to ask for!) In the end, EVERYTHING about my flowers was absolutely PERFECT! Truly - they were a work of art. I got SO many compliments on them the day of - and the compliments are still coming in (a few of which included people saying they were the most gorgeous flowers they'd ever seen!) HIGHLY recommended.

All of my flowers were beautiful and exactly what I wanted. They decorated the tables at the reception site and created a beautiful archway for our ceremony! They provided stunning bouquets and all of the decor came together flawlessly! A very happy bride!

My flowers were absolutely gorgeous! I received so many compliments on them!! My center pieces made the tables beautiful. And, my bouquet was exactley how I had requested. John and Lori were so much help, I don't know anything about flowers and they took there time to explain things and show me a variety of flowers that would fit well with the look I was going for. I would highly recommend them!!

I loved working with Jonathan, for my daughter's wedding. We had already decided on another florist when our wedding planner (Exquisite Design's) suggested we speak to Jonathan, after meeting with him we fired the other florist and went with The Plant Place. We got so much more for the same price and he went over board with his creativity. We couldn't have been happier, I would recommend Jonathan to anyone who wants something really outstanding and not what you've seen over and over again.

Shannon at Buffalo Wedding Florist (Plant & Flower Basket) is absolutely AMAZING! She was an absolute pleasure to work with as my husband and I navigated through the wedding planning process. He didn't have too much input into the final flowers but he did appreciate how easy it was to narrow down some ideas for our floral palette and also appreciated the fact that we were able to stay within our allotted budget for our wedding flowers.
Shannon was very enthusiastic and obviously enjoys her work and takes a lot pride and joy in what she does and it is also obvious she loves what she does and is passionate about it. When we first met with her, neither one of us had too many ideas in regards to what we were looking for...just a budget in mind. She was very helpful with giving us some ideas for our flowers and also going with the flow when we were indecisive (well I was indecisive...lol). Whenever I had a question or a concern, Shannon was very quick to respond and was flexible with all the changes we had to make throughout the process. She is AWESOME! :)
When I saw the flowers for my bouquet and my girls' bouquets on the day of the wedding, I was amazed at how BEAUTIFUL and GORGEOUS they were. There is some absolutely AMAZING floral talent working for them and it literally took my breath away. Especially my bouquet, it was absolutely breathtaking! Thank you for doing such an fantastic job with our wedding. We received a lot of compliments from our guests about how beautiful our flowers were and how well it went with our color scheme (navy blue, peach, pink, and ivory). We can't thank all of you enough for doing a such a FABULOUS job! :)
We also made sure to recommend you guys to my husband's sister who is getting married in November! :)

Amazing! My flowers were breathtaking. We worked with Johnathan, and he was awesome. He was indeed busy, so email was a very good way to keep in touch. We did wait a couple of times for him to get back to us, (between making adjustments to the proposal), but it was worth it. Johnathan and his staff made our day go off with-out a hitch. Everything was in place, and I tell you the truth when I say people were talking about the flowers from our wedding for weeks after...My sweetheart table was to die for, with every one of my favorite flowers...We also used services provided for our linens, which I highly recommend doing. Overall, I could not have been happier...It was truly a fairytale brought to life, and worth every single penny... Awesome!

The flowers were a show-stopper at my wedding, absolutely gorgeous. He was great to work with and have made multiple reccomendations to others for them to use him as well. You would not be disappointed with Plant Place.

We worked with Jonathan at the Plant Place for our wedding flowers and they were absolutely stunning. He wasn't always easy to get a hold of, not always prompt with responding to calls/emails those times he responded, and had frequent scheduling conflicts that caused him to cancel or change meeting times. He does have an outstanding creative/artistic vision, but he didn't seem to be immediately receptive to my calling him after I discovered the bouquet wasn't exactly as we had discussed and he hadn't called me to inform me of this prior to sending it. He did ultimately accommodate my request, albeit maybe a little reluctantly, to make some minor adjustments to other flowers to compensate for the unexpected difference in the bouquet. Overall, I was very pleased - the flowers, tables and decor were gorgeous and we received so many compliments on them!

I decided on Plant Place from a recommendation from a friend who used them for some linens at her wedding a few years ago. I knew what colors I wanted to focus on for the boquets and centerpieces but wasnt familiar enough with the exact type of flowers I was looking for. And Jonathan took care of all of that for me. I also decided to use him for stain tableclothes and napkins. I kind of left everything in his hands, and when I walked into the reception room it was absolutely beautiful. It's been 7 months since the wedding, and people are still talking about how beautiful all of the flowers were. My sister is using them for her wedding this summer, and we know we are going to get great flowers from him again.Sent on 03/27/2009

They were great in helping me decide what flowers I wanted. The bouquets were beautiful. However, the centerpieces did not fit in the bases provided by reception hall and had to be altered to be used. I would have appreciated it if the florist had contacted the venue to make sure that the centerpieces would fit so that I could have had the centerpieces that I wanted.Sent on 11/30/2008

I thought that the flowers turned out beautifully, however it was not really what I had ordered. I told them that I wanted pale pink peonies & myrtle. that's it, nothing fussy or complicated. The designer that we met with informed us that peonies were not in season (an Aug wedding) so it would just depend on the batch that they got in the week of the wedding. The backup plan was to use large, ruffley garden roses, that she assured me would look very similar to peonies. I wasn't really crazy about the idea of using roses (i'm just not a long-stem rose kind of person, and didn't want that as my wedding bouquet), but she showed me pictures and they did look very similar to peonies. When the flowers arrived the morning of the wedding, to be honest, I was a little disappointed. They were beautiful, but they really were not close to what I ordered other than them being the right color. They were tightly packed bouquets of normal roses with a bunch of smaller roses mixed in. We had asked that they tie the bouquets with ribbon so the ribbon would hang down- they didn't. There were a few other little details that we went over in our final consultation that were either different than we had discussed or absent. I don't think that they did a BAD job, I just don't think that they really paid too much attention to the actual order sheet that I know contained all the correct info pertaining to my order. I would recommend them if you're not too fussy or don't really care about details... that being said I have never met a bride that doesn't care about the details.

I will start by saying that everyone thought the flowers looked beautiful for our wedding. And for the most part, I was satisfied. Where I was extremely disappointed were in the "silk" flowers that we had been promised. My husbands boutonnière was supposed to be a handmade silk poppy, with poppies in my bouquet. Was was created for us was clearly a plastic flower from hobby lobby with greenery added. It looks acceptable but for what we were paid and promised, we were incredibly disappointed. I would have made this myself had I know they were going to use generic, store bought flowers. Responses to emails are a little slow as well. As I said, though the flowers weren't exactly what I was expecting, they looked nice. I don't know if I would have utilized them again for What we paid though.

We heard rave reviews for Plant Place & Flower Basket so we set up a meeting to discuss flower options for our wedding. I was surprised when meeting John that he wasn't more friendly, instead it seemed like I was wasting his time because what I wanted meant he would need to be creative (my table centerpieces had square glass containers with lime slices up against the glass). He told me that would be time consuming but when I was firm that that was what I wanted he obliged. When I told him the flowers I liked and showed him pictures of bouquets and centerpieces John told me how he could make something similar but given certain flowers I liked were out of season they wouldn't be exact to the pictures I had shown him. I dropped of the bouquet jewels I made for all of my bridesmaids and my bouquets along with the color ribbon I wanted them wrapped in and had little conversation with John after our initial meeting. To be perfectly honest, when the flowers were dropped off I was happy they were beautiful but could tell John used his own taste in creating them. My bouquet was mostly white hydrangeas with a few calla lilies & pink roses...I wasn't what I envisioned but still was pretty. My centerpieces were outstanding! The choice of flowers perfectly complemented my colors and the picture I loved. The pew flowers & church arrangements were very pretty. My bridesmaids bouquets were beautiful and the girls loved them! The bouquet jewels were perfectly placed! I can only say to those looking for a florist to do some research about what you want and what is available...come to these meetings with pictures and stick to your guns. I waffled too much and didn't get exactly what I wanted because of that.Sent on 03/25/2009

Unfortunately, I feel I cannot recommend Plant Place & Flower Basket to other brides. While, I think their pricing was great, I was a little disappointed by the customer service and end result. I will say- definitely not bad service. Stacy was absolutely wonderful in person and when I could get in touch with her, but sometimes that was difficult. Firstly, the centerpieces looked great. We decided on fake cherry blossoms for the centerpieces and I dropped off vases and they were fitted in wonderfully. The bouquets were the problem. My MOH ended up with a flattened bouquet where the handle (the pearls) were clearly put on the backside. They also weren't right- the bridesmaid bouquets were supposed to be all pink and mine was the only one pink and white. All of them were pink and white. I was also disappointed about having fake cherry blossoms in my bouquet- that was never discussed. We had agreed on fake only for the centerpieces. And there was a small what I can only assume is a bloodstain on my bouquet's ivory ribbon in the front. This is little stuff that our guests probably didn't notice- but I certainly did and it did make me disappointed.Sent on 06/07/2018

Initially when I came in to setup the details for my wedding I was very pleased with everything. A young woman named Joanna helped me and she was polite and professional. I was advised that I could make any changes I wanted to my order up to 10 days before the ceremony. More than 2 weeks before the wedding I called to make a change and have flowers removed, I had ordered 20 centerpieces but only needed 17 and also needed to remove a bouquet. When I tried to do so I was advised I couldn't because my flowers had already been ordered so I had to eat the cost of all the extra flowers. 3 days before the wedding I called to verify all of the flowers and what addresses they were being delivered to. The older woman who answered the phone was completely unprofessional, rude and downright nasty. She kept arguing with me about what corsages and boutonnieres I had and would not stop interrupting me so that I could tell her who got what. Then she slammed the phone down on me and proceeded to yell and complain about me to people in the background without putting me on hold. Thankfully, Joanna picked up and assisted me in a matter of seconds and the call was complete. The flowers were to be delivered to the hotel by 11 am. At noon I still had not received my flowers. My MOH called and was very rudely told my flowers had been delivered but no one was there. The flowers had actually been delivered to an empty banquet room at the Hyatt that another wedding was being held at, not the front desk or directly to me. Had the flowers been delivered to me I would have realized that they failed to deliver all of my flowers for the church. I was not able to have the gift to the blessed mother during my ceremony. The corsages fell apart and wilted within hours of getting them and the groomsmen boutonnieres had to be glued back together before the ceremony! Absolute WORST decision I made to have this florist be a part of such a special event.
