Brushworx was such a wonderful choice for my hair and makeup services for my wedding! Right away, Patti and Christine were both so helpful and so organized. I truly felt so at ease knowing that everything would be taken care of. They provided a ton of info and advice on navigating the wedding planning process with regard to beauty services, like providing advice on extensions and asking for reference photos.
I worked with Kisha and Mel. I had Kisha doing hair for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom. She was amazing! She was so accommodating, especially as I wanted to change some things up on wedding day. She rolled with it and really aimed to do exactly what I was looking for. She did beautiful work on my other guests too- and everyone loved her!
Mel did makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom. She also was able to fit in another guest who was hoping to get air brush, and she was so willing to help. She took my inspiration for makeup and created something so beautiful. She kept me included throughout the whole process and was truly so pleasant to have around as we were all getting ready.
It was truly so wonderful to have both Kisha and Mel there on wedding day- they brought wonderful vibes! My hair and makeup lasted all night even through some epic dancing too. I would definitely recommend these ladies and Brushworx! -

I cannot recommend Brushworx enough! From the moment I reached out to Patti and Christine, they were professional, warm, and incredibly accommodating. They made me feel so comfortable and confident that I knew I was in great hands for my wedding day.
On the big day, Melissa (makeup artist) & Rebecca (hairstylist) arrived early and got straight to work, transforming myself and my bridal party into glowing versions of ourselves! The hair and makeup were nothing short of amazing – every detail was perfect. My bridal look was everything I had envisioned and more! My makeup was flawless but still felt natural, and my hair held up beautifully throughout the entire day, despite all the dancing and photos. You can tell they truly cared!
Not only did Brushworx nail the look I wanted, but they also made the whole process feel like a pampering experience. They were so fun to work with, and their positive energy was contagious. My bridesmaids and I felt relaxed and had such a blast while getting ready together.

Brushworx was absolutely phenomenal! I hired Brushworx to do makeup for me, my mom, my mother in law, and my six bridesmaids for my wedding day and the experience could not have been better! Christine and Patti were so kind, responsive, and answered all my questions every step of the way, from my first contact all the way through wedding day!
I cannot rave enough about the makeup artists who were part of my wedding day, Fathia and Gillian! Fathia did my makeup, and she is absolutely FANTASTIC! She really took into account all my likes, dislikes, inspiration, and thoughts for the day and gave me such a beautiful look. I loved my trial with her (photos attached), and she somehow made me look even better on my wedding day! I wish she could do my makeup every day! All my bridesmaids who had their makeup done by Gillian looked beautiful as well, Gillian delivered beautiful looks that were cohesive and unique to each bridesmaid in record time!
I would recommend Brushworx to any brides and wedding parties!! -

Working with Brushworx for my October wedding was extremely seemless. I have never felt more beautiful. We had a few schedule changes and last minute additions to the hair and makeup schedule and they worked with me to make sure everyone was able to feel their absolute best on my wedding day. The artists were also able to pivot from my trial day-of with small changes. One artist was even flexible enough to stay behind and swap my half-up/half-down look for a sturdy updo for my reception. I could'nt recommend Brushworx enough! You will not be disappointed. -

I usually do not wear a lot of makeup so I was nervous for how I would look, but Jasmine really listened to what I wanted and created a stunning look. Brushworx did an amazing job! From start to finish they were on time, professional, and kind. Everyone in the bridal party, including my mother and mother-in-law loved their hair and makeup. Kisha did my bridal hair and makeup, I had requested to have her because I had attended a wedding 5 years ago where she did the bride's hair and makeup and I was floored by how beautiful it was. I have worked with a lot of makeup artists in the past from being in weddings to my side gig modeling, and let me tell you Kisha is by far the best! She completely understood my vision and executed it flawlessly -- I am incredibly picky about my makeup when it is for me and I had like one alteration. She also did an amazing job with my hair, I am a naturally curly girl and didn't want to wear my hair straight for my wedding. She exceeded my expectations of how my hair turned out. The best part about Kisha is her patience and kindness with my mother! My mom was incredibly nervous about getting her hair and makeup done, but Kisha made her feel confident and at peace about the whole thing. I am forever grateful to the Brushworx team and Kisha for making my day so special. -

Patti Simmons, the owner of Brushworx, is an amazing artist! I was the mother-of-the bride for my daughter Avery’s wedding on St. Simons Island. Patti met with me beforehand to see my dress and choose a hairpiece to complete the elegant look I wanted. Patti chose warm brown and peach tones makeup that complimented my champagne colored dress. I was thrilled with my look and received so many compliments that night. I looked like a younger version of myself! She also did my daughter’s makeup and Avery was a gorgeous bride!! What a GIFT Brushworx and Mrs. Patti were to me on my wedding day! Mrs. Patti has an incredible talent for listening to her clients and bringing their vision to life. Throughout my trial, I was met with so much professionalism and organization, and after each step of the makeup, she was sure to check in to make sure it was exactly as I hoped. On my wedding day, she made me feel at ease and so well taken care of in such a busy part of the day. I felt absolutely beautiful, and my makeup lasted all day long in hot Saint Simons Island, GA in September. If you are looking for a makeup artist, look no further - Mrs. Patti is the BEST! -

Mel and Rebecca were my beautiful artists. They were so amazing and kept the atmosphere fun and light. They were really easy to vibe with. From the trial run, to the day of my wedding, they made sure I was comfortable — they asked what style I was going for, and gave a few suggestions as well. My Mother, MOH, and MOG loved their looks. I had guests came up to me complimenting my look. We were all so beautiful and that’s huge thanks to Mel and Rebecca’s magical hands. The owners Patti and Christine were also very nice people and always promptly responded to my emails/texts. Everybody was a professional and I’m so glad I booked with them. Highly recommended. Couldn’t be happier
Abby was absolutely amazing!! She was able to combined a few things I liked from different photos and make my wedding hair and makeup perfect. Every person who has their hair and makeup done that day looked amazing. Abby was good professional but also so fun to have around for the morning. Patti was great throughout the booking process, trial to make sure everything was exactly perfect, and even when we had a last minute change up in schedule. I would book them again 100% and already referred my best friend for her wedding in 2025. -

Kisha was my artist and she truly made me feel like a bride. Her and two other artists had a large party of moms and bridesmaids to do and they were all amazing. The owners were also quick to answer questions and answer my sister's questions when it came to her daughter's mixed race hair. They were super accommodating to my large party and they were a joy to have as my getting wedding-ready team! -

We hired Brushworx for our daughter’s wedding. We needed hair and make-up for our daughter (The Bride), myself (Mother of the Bride) and 1 Bridesmaid and just make-up for the other Bridesmaid. Our make-up artist was Kisha and she is Fabulous!!!! Not only is her work Amazing but she is so much fun and that helped so much in keeping nerves to a minimum before the wedding!! Our stylists, Kisha, Makaila, and Fathia were phenomenal. My bridal party and I looked so natural and not overdone, which is what drew me to Brushworx from the beginning. My bridesmaids were very happy and comfortable with their hair and makeup.
From my trial to the wedding day, Christine and Patti were organized and communicated effectively. This front-end planning made the wedding day run smoothly and predictably.
Kisha was my bridal stylist rockstar! Her fun personality made the whole process so much more enjoyable, and I truly felt beautiful on my wedding day.

Great Experience on Wedding Day!
I hired Brushworx for my mid-June wedding in Atlanta. They took care of hair and makeup for myself, six bridesmaids, my mom and the mother of the groom. I was thrilled with how everything came out and had a very positive experience with everyone I worked with. The three artists who helped on the wedding day were punctual, efficient, and very friendly. They contributed to a relaxed environment on the morning of the wedding and even finished about 30 minutes ahead of schedule, which set the tone for the rest of the day. Brushworx is seriously the BEST in hair and makeup. I have been using them for years - from high school prom all the way to my pageant days. There is nobody I trust more than Brushworx. When it came time for my wedding, I knew exactly that I wanted them to do my hair and makeup. And sure enough, they did it incredibly (and even traveled to Birmingham, Alabama to do it!). Patti made everything so seamless and was so efficient with all of her communication. She constantly made me feel like a beautiful bride, and visiting the studio for my trial makeup and hair, Patti made it a point to make me feel beautiful and ready for my big day. I also cannot say enough wonderful things about Mel and Rebecca. They were incredibly professional, poised, and also so much fun! All of my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup and they both made sure that it was exactly what the girls wanted, while also creating such a welcoming and fun environment for getting ready. Every single bridesmaid left saying: Wow! They are awesome! The wedding day can be stressful, but Mel and Rebecca truly made it such a fun and stress-free day and I am so grateful for everything. They made me feel so beautiful and everything about my hair and makeup was perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend Brushworx to anybody. -

Great Experience!
We absolutely loved working with Mel and Rebecca on my wedding day! They were able to accommodate any and all of the needs of my bridal party, and were so down to earth and easy to work with. My whole party really enjoyed working with them! Our hair and makeup also lasted all day until late evening. Brushworx was incredible to work with throughout the entire process! I am so glad to have found them! I have so many good things to say about the ladies at Brushwork that I don't even know where to begin with this review! Everyone I interacted with, from the owners to the artists, were just beyond amazing. I don't really wear like to wear makeup in my everyday life and I never do anything with my hair - but I had *such* a wonderful experience that I'm trying to come up with another occasion where I will have an excuse to work with them again!
Patti and Christine are the owners; Rebecca is the hairstylist and Maria is the makeup artist I worked with. All were professional, accommodating, responsive, and above all genuinely kind people. Maria and Rebecca made my bridal party, my mom and I all look absolutely flawless! We were especially impressed by the fact that even though we didn't give Rebecca and Maria a lot of direction/instruction on what we wanted, they were still able to make our hair and makeup turn out even *more* amazing than we expected. They are true artists!
On top of that, Maria and Rebecca were genuinely fun to spend time with. We spent a decent chunk of our day with them given that there were 6 of us who needed hair and makeup, and we just had the best time with them chatting and hanging out throughout the whole process. I would love for our paths to cross again! -

I used Brushworx for hair for me and 9 others and they did an absolutely AMAZING job. My only regret was not using them for makeup, because (1) it would've been easier to work with a single vendor for both and (2) based on the quality of their hair stylists, I know their makeup artists would've also been great. Unfortunately, before I found Brushworx, I had already signed a contract with another makeup artist my sister-in-law used for her wedding.) Hair stylists, Rebecca and Sharia, both knocked it out of the park!! I've seriously never truly liked my hair when it's been done by a stylist until I met Rebecca. Owners, Christine and Patti, were also extremely professional, organized, and communicative throughout the entire process. The Brushworx team was incredible and really made our morning wedding special! Three artists worked on hair and make-up for me, 5 bridesmaids, and two family members at my house in Atlanta. Everyone was thrilled with the result, and we were really impressed with the artists’ technique, professionalism, and friendly personalities. Maria worked on makeup for the bridesmaids, and everyone loved the natural result...the fact that Maria was incredibly sweet and accommodating was a bonus! My sister-in-law is very particular with makeup, and she absolutely loved the end result. My aunt, mother, and I had the privilege of working with Melissa for both hair and makeup. From the moment of consulting and making appointment for my trial run to the movement they finished…. Nothing but absolute perfection.
I mean everything! Patti is the owner and she was so involved and truly cares. She sat and talked with me during my trial run and made sure I was comfortable and delighted with every detail. She then matched me, my personality, my style and needs with the best possible team for our wedding day.
Fathia and Rebecca were absolutely amazing. They did my bridal hair and makeup, and that of 4 bridesmaids, mother of the groom and even had time to fit in a last minute hair for our beautiful officiant.
Our original team was Fathia and Melissa but Melissa was last minute unable to attend and Patti had Rebecca ready to go. And she was on time and knocked it out of the park.
I have never felt more radiant or breath taking in my life than on my wedding day.
Personally I feel like they under charge for their services.
Definitely worth the price. Everyone looked stunning and felt like the queens they are.

Beautiful Hair and Makeup!
Brushworx exceeded all of my expectations - my wedding hair and make-up were amazing and I felt so beautiful! From the beginning, Brushworx was so easy to work with - they were responsive and quick to answer any questions I had before and after signing the contract. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, and Patti was always super flexible and willing to make sure our new date worked with their schedule. After my trial with Fathia, I knew that my hair and makeup would look great on my wedding day, but I was blown away on the actual day. Fathia made everything look perfect and I think my hair and makeup looked even better than it did at the trial (which is close to impossible!).
My bridesmaids were also equally impressed with their hair and makeup. We’ve been to quite a few weddings, and they could not stop raving about how great their hair and makeup looked and how great of a job Fathia, Rebecca, and Gillian did with everything. They were also super on schedule - with 6 bridesmaids, the mother of the bride and groom, and the bride, we never got behind in the day or had to worry about rushing!
Thank you to Patti, Fathia, and the whole Brushworx team for everything! They made my wedding day so special and I would 10/10 recommend using Brushworx for your wedding or any other event! -

I used Brushworx for makeup and hair services on my wedding day. From the get go, the team was so kind and positive, which was endlessly appreciated while rescheduling our wedding due to COVID. My favorite part of the process was working with Amber and Deb. They both brought a calming energy to our day. The day of our rehearsal dinner, I broke out into a huge rash all over my back. Amber had to completely rework all my looks on a whim, and did so without batting an eyelash. You would NEVER know, and I think I ended up liking my wedding hair more than my original trials! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the two of them. Such fantastic women - thank you for making our day so special despite the two year wait! I am probably one of the least knowledgeable people about hair and makeup, so picking a HAMU vendor for my wedding felt stressful. I'm so happy I ended up with Fathia and Meko from Brushworx - they were absolutely amazing! They were both extremely professional and true magicians - every single person in my bridal party and both moms loved both their hair and makeup. They also were both so patient and so calming which was exactly the type of energy I needed on my wedding day (there are a lot of nerves!).
Working with Patti to book and schedule a trial was also seamless - they have an easy-to-use portal and Patti was responsive through both calls and texts as well. She has an impressive salon in the basement of her home for the trial, which felt very personal and was a real treat. After the trial, I was so confident that I would look my best on my wedding day which was such a relief - Fathia worked with me to slowly add make up and play around with different looks to help me visualize all the options. I can't thank the team enough! -

Makeup magic fairies
I am the mother-of-the-bride and all I can say is the girls at Brushworx are like magic fairies! We met Kesha in Patti’s beautiful home studio for my daughters hair and makeup trial. She listened attentively to what my daughter wanted and when she was done, she looked like the bride doll we envisioned! The day of the wedding Rebecca and Maria joined Kesha and transformed all our bridesmaids and myself to perfection. Each one of us looked in the mirror and were in awe of their beautiful work- they are true makeup artists! They took their time, had a lot of patience and made the entire experience fun! I didn’t want that part of the wedding day to end! Patti has put together the dream team! She is the best! The brushworx team was fantastic - from booking to rescheduling my wedding twice during Covid to my trial to my wedding day! Pattie was super responsive and helpful with scheduling and booking. Kesha is a hair MAGICIAN!! I was really nervous about wedding hair as it can often look too over the top. But she made me feel so much better during my trial. On the day of, she made everybody’s hair look GORGEOUS- from flower girls to mother of the bride! Numerous bridesmaids and family members told me they had never been so happy with a wedding hairdo before. I can’t wait to get more pictures back to show off how amazing everyone looked! -

It was such a wonderful experience working with Patti and the Brushworx staff, from the start the trail hair and makeup was such a fun and exciting experience. Fathia was my mother and I stylist and she listened to all our “wish looks” and made them even better than expected!
The Brushworx team (Fathia, Maria and Leslie) were professional and fun, and we had a blast getting ready the morning of the wedding. I had six bridesmaids and two mothers of the bride/groom so you can imagine we were a handful trying to get everyone wedding ready. Getting ready with the Brushworx team was perfection
Melissa and Gillian were the perfect team for my wedding party hair and makeup, and the communication with Patti & Christine was so smooth. Once you book with Brushworx, they work to schedule your trial with the same artist who will do your look on the day of your event. As someone who has not had “glam” since high school prom I was a little anxious, but they calmed my nerves and Melissa brought my inspiration pictures to life. On the day of, the team arrived on time and remained ahead of schedule all day which was a huge help as we coordinated “first look” photos. I felt so beautiful with a classic and timeless hairstyle and makeup that lasted all night. The other ladies in my party also looked amazing, they took the time to talk through their inspiration photos and provide feedback so they could get the best result with their hair type. -

Hair and Makeup is a critical part of a wedding day. Brushworx came recommended as one of our venue's preferred vendors, after reading several reviews, speaking with the owners and following their teams work, we booked them for our fall wedding and are so glad we did! The Brushworx owners, Patti and Christine are very passionate, organized and were so easy to work with. Add in a global pandemic to the mix and this was a very stressful and uncertain year to plan a wedding. However, the Brushworx team made me feel at ease ensuring all their staff was safe and healthy and also wearing masks while working on my girls and I.
Kisha was my artist for hair and makeup and was so personable, kind and easy to talk to. At my trial run I showed her several photos of the look I was going for. I was so grateful I was the last appointment of the day as Kisha really made sure that I was satisfied before sending me on my way. In fact, she worked overtime which just shows how passionate she is about her work. She made minor tweaks the day of the wedding and executed my vision flawlessly. My hair and makeup turned out even better than the trial and I could not have been more satisfied with the result! Kisha, Leslie and Natalie at Brushworx did an amazing job keeping on schedule with our timeline and helping my girls and I to look the very best for our wedding day. The Brushworx team is professional and full of great talent, we're so glad we hired them and would highly recommend this vendor! -

I want to start off and say my regular makeup routine is CeraVe moisturizer and occasional mascara - I am not a makeup person and I had no idea what to expect or what to request. Brushworx over delivered with all of my expectations. I am also not decisive person and was not sure what I really wanted to do, but I showed Fathia a couple of pictures and she blew me away. I was SO happy with how my hair and makeup turned out as the Bride - I could not have dreamed of anything different. I also received so many shocking compliments throughout the night from both friends and family (since I generally do not wear makeup...at all....ever). I also want to comment on Maria - she is a makeup QUEEN! She did both MOB and MOG - BLOWN AWAY! She also did both my sisters and my FSIL - who I will say her makeup looked better on my wedding day then it did on hers!! Save yourself the stress and book Brushworx - they're so professional, organized, and make you look AND feel like your best self. I cannot say enough good things about Fathia (REQUEST HER BRIDES - Hair and Makeup) and Maria (REQUEST HER TOO - Makeup). Brushworx was incredible and made our wedding day so special! Patti was so kind and responsive and listened to all of my requests and concerns. I liked being able to have a portal to upload pictures of my hair and makeup inspiration. When COVID hit, Brushworx was so helpful when we postponed our wedding. They put safe rules in place to make us all feel comfortable. The hair and makeup trial was great. Kisha is an amazing human being and I was so happy with the way she did my hair and makeup. On wedding day, she replicated exactly what we discussed on the trial day. Amber and Rebecca were the other artists on our wedding day and they also were incredible. I don’t even know where to begin! Brushworx was amazing. Before brushworx, I had a trial with a different company that I had already booked and had the worst experience. A month before the wedding I frantically found Brushworx and they were able to squeeze me in. I was so scared, but they cared for my concerns and were so sweet and caring! After my trial with Brushworx I knew I had made the correct decision in going through with them instead of the other place. My entire bridal party was so in love with their hair and makeup! Brushworx was amazing from day one! I am a "corona bride" which means that my wedding was originally scheduled for April 25, 2020 and had to be postponed to September 4, 2020. I had been working with Brushworx starting in 2019 with my first trial, which went great, and they didn't miss a beat when it came down to rescheduling our wedding and ensuring I could still have the makeup and hair artists I loved (Maria and Kisha)!
I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and I can't say enough wonderful things about this team. Maria is an INCREDIBLE makeup artist who will do exactly what you want and exceed your expectations. Kisha made me look like a "Hollywood" bride, how I always wanted to with big voluminous curls. My bridesmaids and mother also looked absolutely stunning and everyone felt and looked amazing. My husband couldn't get over how stunning I looked.

Amber was Amazing!
Amber from Brushworx was amazing. She is so down to earth and made me feel so comfortable on my big day. During hair and makeup trial, she asked me to describe my dream look and she NAILED it. Then on the big day she recreated the look and it turned out even better. We paid for an extended day so she could follow me around during pictures for touch ups and that was invaluable, especially if you get married in the summer. She made me feel the most beautiful I've ever felt in my life! -

They were very responsive and worked with my schedule since I lived in a different city than where my wedding was. My artist was Meko and she was incredible! The Brushworx team impressed me from my very first phone call with Christine when I was 2 months away from my wedding and just had a terrible trial with another well reviewed hair & MU vendor and really needed some help. Fortunately my Sunday wedding date was open and the experience for my trial was night and day compared to the other company. Patti was so flexible with arranging my trial on such short notice and her professionalism and care for Brushworx brides was apparent right away. Things were off to a bit of a rocky start when I felt uncertain about my hair and makeup after the trial run. However, Christine and Patti worked to make sure all my concerns were addressed and resolved. I felt confident in their staff's ability to meet and exceed my expectations after a few conversations!
If I could somehow give my hair and makeup artist, Katia, a better review than 5 stars, I would! After some anxiety and miscommunication about how I wanted my hair and makeup with a different artist, Katia really felt like a superhero. She was patient in listening to what I wanted and checked in with what I thought and how I was feeling. She practiced on a mannequin before trying the up-do I wanted on me and sent pictures to make sure she was understanding what I wanted. She was attentive, kind, and super helpful. She took away all the anxiety and fear I had about wanting to feel beautiful AND like myself on my wedding day. I cannot recommend her highly enough! THANK YOU, Katia!!! -

The Brushworx team was SO easy to work with. I was really looking for a full service beauty vendor, and then definitely deliver. I thought the pricing was fair, and they delivered styles that really did last the entire day/night. My lead artist was Kisha, and she did a great job adapting to my style. The schedule that Patti/Christine developed worked perfectly, and their team of artists arrived exactly on time, stuck to the schedule, and were able to accommodate my entire bridal party's requests. Brides - My review won't do Brushworx any justice. They are an absolutely gifted, lively and a loving group. The entire experience was so tailored and crafted from the very beginning. After describing my wedding vibe to Patti, I was paired with my artist, Kisha. And it was a match made in heaven. I had a hair/makeup trial and Kisha made my vision come to life her first run through. I had never felt so beautiful. Besides myself, I was getting services for 10 bridesmaids, 2 mothers and 1 grandmother. Patti provided excellent communication during scheduling and was so prompt, patient and professional. She genuinely cares and it showed!
Now, my bridesmaids are tough when it comes to hair/makeup - they know their stuff. They couldn't stop taking selfies - they were OBSESSED. Separately, the mothers and grandmother were treated with such care and love. Major shout out to Rebecca, Kisha and Maria! My mom, specifically, never had her hair/makeup done before and was very nervous about the experience. Kisha soothed her and talked her through the experience. Her beauty shined. I've never seen my mom radiate like that - and that was a gift in itself. Plus, Rebecca, Kisha and Maria had a blast getting hype during the morning "getting ready" portion. Because after all, it should be a party!
So between my bridal party feeling glamorous, my mom radiating and my husband's first reaction during our first look being WOW - I have to say Brushworx was one of the best decisions I made for the wedding. So very pleased with their services! Fathia, Melissa, and Katia all provided hair and makeup for 12 people in the wedding party. They were all great - but Fathia who did mother of the groom and the bride and others was the best! She listened to what I (MOG) wanted and made it happen! She didn’t do what she wanted but what we wanted, which is so very important! I absolutely recommend this company for your wedding or any other place you want to look beautiful! -

My wedding was last Saturday and Melissa and Kisha were our artists. They are so talented! Brushworx was easy to work with (especially since we had several changes - sorry!) Our artists were fun, listened to what the ladies wanted and were awesome even with fussy flower girls. Are they a bit pricey? Not compared to other companies I checked. Every camera shot was a 'wow' shot and everyone was so happy. You don't always get what you pay for in weddings, I know I didn't on some fronts. But Brushworx is 100% genuinely a great company and I would recommend them. -
