Exactly what we wanted!

Brunswick Town Florist did such an amazing job with our wedding floral! We couldn't have been happier. Don was super helpful and wonderful to work with. I provided some inspiration pictures of florals and style I liked and they made my vision come alive!

Beyond Our Dreams

How do you say Thank you to the nicest and most talented floral designers imaginable ~? Our pictures are stunning, the “in person“ was breathtaking~!! Don and his wonderful team took our vision and expanded every thought we didn't know how to articulate and made our dream come true~!! Colors and textures that were deep and luscious~ My bouquet was gorgeous as well~!! When everyone asks about the best part of our day, I keep saying “My Love of My Life, our friends and family and OUR FLOWERS~!!! Love and our deepest thanks to everyone at Brunswick Town Florist~!!!

Very helpful

Quick and professional !!! Exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond to have our requested Calla Lilies which were out of season but they made it possible for us! Highly recommended

We were from out of town and this florist made special arrangements to meet with us.
They made suggestions after listening to what my daughter envisioned and she was very pleased.
We didn't have a huge wedding and they still gave us excellent service and treated us the same as those doing a much bigger wedding.
We picked up our own flowers and they were so very accommodating.
Most importantly, the flowers were gorgeous! The calla lilies stayed fresh for an incredibly long time after our wedding even at the beach house on Bald Head Island.
Would recommend Brunswick florist and use them again!

Don did a fantastic job with the flowers for our wedding. I gave him some very basic ideas to work with and let him take it from there. Don is an artist with flowers, and his love for his craft was evident in all our arrangements! Highly recommended!

I loved working with Don and the whole team at Brunswick Town Florist! They did not hesitate to help us pick out our wedding flowers when we walked in on a busy Saturday. They were on time to deliver the flowers to our venue and had everything just the way we had talked! I highly recommend this company and would use them again! Thank you Brunswick Town Florist!!

Brunswick Town Florist did an amazing job with our wedding flowers! They were incredibly easy to work with and the final product was beautiful. They also organized, very last minute, I might add a gorgeous bouquet sent my a dear friend. The staff was able to get all the flowers together and sent over to Bald Head Island for our pick up time of 1 o'clock. I cannot thank them enough for their attention to detail, professionalism and amazing bouquets. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Don and his team at BTF did an amazing job on my daughters wedding. He was easy to work with, listened to what we wanted and gave great suggestions. My wedding planner called the night before to add on pillars and urns as the wedding had to be move inside due to rain. The arrangements exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect. I will use them again and would recommend them for any occasion.

I absolutely recommend Brunswick Town Florist. My wedding was on Bald Head Island, and this vendor did a fantastic job getting all of the floral arrangements to the island. The arrangements were stunning, and I received multiple compliments on them. They were very organized, professional, and easy to work with. Thank you, Brunswick Town Florist for a beautiful wedding!

We would recommend Don and the florists at Brunswick Town Florist. We were used them for our wedding a few weeks ago. The wedding happened to be on the day Hurricane Mathew hit. Brunswick Florist did an amazing job allowing us to make some last minutes changes because of a venue change which they were very accommodating. They were able to deliver the flowers earlier than planned so we were able to have flowers because of the weather. Their attention to detail is amazing and they were a breeze to work with. The flowers were beautiful and all of our guests commented on how wonder the flowers were!

Don is an artist... He and everyone in the shop are wonderfully nice and very professional. Our flowers were gorgeous, and exactly what I had hoped for.. Beautiful mix of colors, and simple age appropriate bouquets for my little girls.

I planned this wedding from the Fayetteville, NC area. I did a TON of research on florists in and around the Southport, NC area to include Wilmington. I saw something in the pictures that Don had posted online and I fell in love! In quotes from other vendors around the area, I would have paid twice the amount. As I wasn't available to meet with Don in person, I worked with him over the phone and also created an email presentation with tons of pictures and notes. Believe me, I was afraid of how this would translate to him, however on the day of the wedding, I was sure that I had made the most wonderful choice! My flowers were a dream! It was as if Don and his crew were in my head and recreated my dreams! He had to substitute some flowers in my arrangements (beyond his control) however, the substitutions were even better than I could have imagined! I'm so in love with all the arrangements and how they turned out and I cannot wait to see the professional photos from our photographer! Thank you Brunswick Town Florist for making my most special day even more beautiful than I could have imagined!!!!

We (mother of bride writing) were very pleased with Brunswick Town Florist services for our wedding. We met with Don Baker a few weeks ahead of time on a Saturday afternoon and spent at least 1-2 hours going over options. He seemed to really care about our daughter, her uniqueness, what she pictured the wedding being like (rustic, beach setting yet elegant)...and worked with us in everything. He definitely has an artist's touch, and everyone at the wedding commented on the natural beauty and uniqueness of the flowers (orchids, lichens, angel vine, mixed greens). We ordered, in addition to the bridal bouquet and attendants' flowers, sprays for the entrance doors, banister coming into the home, guest book table, dining room table, and arrangements to "frame" the party on the deck overlooking the ocean. Our daughter refused to throw away her beautiful bouquet; instead she put it in water and carried it away with them as they left the reception!

In my initial meeting with Don Baker at Brunswick Town Florist, Don paid attention to my vision for our wedding flowers as well as likes and dislikes in general. He also worked within the budget provided and our flowers were beautiful. They were everything that I envisioned and more. The flowers were fresh and the arrangements were outstanding. Brunswick Towne Florist did such a beautiful job on our wedding! I honestly didn't paint a very clear picture of what we were looking for and had no idea what types of flowers we wanted. I looked through pictures with Don and pointed out what I liked and didn't like and sent some photos of things I'd seen that went along with our vision. I pretty much told him to go for it from there, that I trusted him to use his creativity and knowledge of flowers and art to create exactly what we wanted. He did not disappoint! Everything was perfect!! We got so many compliments on the beautiful and unique arrangements. I continue to get compliments on my bouquet and all of the interesting flowers and beautiful colors it contained. We also wanted to use two appliqués from my mother's wedding dress around the bouquet and he did that beautifully which was so special to me. I would highly recommend using Brunswick Towne Florist for your Wilmington area event!

Don was a pleasure to work with and dedicated time to understanding exactly what flower arrangements and bouquets I wanted. I had a tight budget and he creatively came up with ways to make my bouquets more affordable while still incorporating the flowers that were a priority to include (my grandmother's favorite flowers). My bouquet took my breath away when I first saw it. It was everything I wanted and more beautiful than I could have designed. Every piece that he made for us was beautiful- the bridesmaids bouquets, flower girls bouquet, boutonnieres, and corsages. My husband LOVED his boutonniere, and he is not one to care for flowers, so that says a lot!

I needed flowers for my wedding at Oak Island on Easter Monday. I found Brunswick Florist's website and e-mailed the owner. He was very prompt in getting back to me. I sent him pictures of ideas I had for my bouquet & the other flowers I needed. We live 5 hours away so I couldn't go beforehand. My uncle went & picked everything up Easter Monday & everything was perfect. I loved the bouquets and everyone else said how much they loved them as well. I would definitely use this florist again!

Don and Brunswick Town Florist were really great - I am an indecisive person who knows nothing about flowers. Don helped peg down types of flowers at an in-person meeting. Then I changed the colors of my wedding and wanted to re-do the flowers. He did a great job on making some changes to the previous meeting's decisions. Then I discovered that I liked Dahlias a lot - he swapped out some other flowers for Dahlias. Don is very flexible, and knows his stuff. The arrangements that he made and the bouquets were beautiful. And, he is very committed to his end product - some of my Dahlias came in that he didn't like the color of (they weren't quite what we had settled on), so he ordered more immediately to see if he could get it closer to what we had discussed. They came in the right color, but the style was slightly off from what I had told him I liked. So, he called to explain the flower situation and ask me what I wanted, and gave his recommendations. We ended up using both varieties and it turned out great.

The flowers for our wedding were absolutely beautiful. I loved the extra touch he made to make my boutiques stand out. I feel like I will never see anyone else flowers look like mine. I love originality.

Don at Brunswick Town Florist did a great job coordinating with my mom for our flowers and centerpieces. He truly saw my vision and I appreciated the beautiful displays that he put together. My mom has said over and over how great he was to work with.

This was a destination wedding I planned from a distance. Don adequately grasped our vision via phone and email. Also a hurricane meant we couldn't get all the flowers in the estimate, but everything still looked beautiful. He hand dyed some of the nautical rope used in our centerpieces, just because he knew it would look better. We didn't even ask. I also used nontraditional elements like wheats and grasses due to my husbands profession. Again, Don grasped exactly what we wanted and made these elements shine. He's a talent and was on par cost wise with other estimates we received. He's upfront about being the creative element behind the work and not the best at the paperwork trail. I didn't have a problem though with any logistics.

LOVED my bouquet and all the other arrangements. Even better, they lasted for many days after the wedding so we could keep enjoying them! I had to pick everything out online and over the phone because I live in Kentucky, and Don did a fantastic job using my selections for inspiration. Everyone commented on how pretty and fresh the flowers were, and the delivery and setup was right on time as well. Thanks again!

Beautiful flowers and arrangements. They were very accommodating to include special features I wanted such as ribbon and corsage bands that I purchased and they incorporated beautifully! Very flexible to changes made during the process and even on the wedding day!

Don is an amazing artist! The flowers for our daughter's wedding were stunning and just what she wanted. We provided pictures, and Don was very honest about what would be in season, offered alternatives, and suggestions. The flowers arrrived on time - the bride's bouquet was breathtaking. Absolutely loved working with Don! I sent him various Pinterest posts and he was able to combine them all into wonderful arrangements and bouquets! He listened to every detail and nailed it! I would highly recommend him!

The flowers were absolutely beautiful and I had to order over the phone since the florist was near the venue at Bald Head Island. Don Baker handled it all. We did have to meet the ferry and deliver the flowers to the venue ourselves to get them to the venue.

My wedding flowers were gorgeous from brunswick town florist!! One of the colors was a little off from what I had originally asked, so make sure you show him exactly what you want! They were still beautiful though!! Don Baker is very accomodating and helpful!! He knows his flowers, and gives great suggestions!

Brunswick Town Florist did a great job preparing flowers for my wedding. Don sat down with my FI and I to answer our questions and help plan our bouquets and other flowers. The arrangements were for the most part what we had envisioned. If you are looking for a great value in the Southport/ Oak Island are, I would recommend this florist for your floral needs.

Our wedding event was a destination wedding on Bald Head Island. Brunswick Florist worked with pictures and verbal descriptions of what we wanted for the bridal party, church and reception. The floral arrangements were absolutely beautiful, the bride loved her bouquet...we could be mor pleased. They were great!

I was a bit disappointed on my wedding day when I saw my bouquet. I had discussed with Don that I wanted a wild, cascading bouquet with blush/cream flowers and greenery. I showed him many pictures in person of the "look" I was going for, and while my bouquet was beautiful, and had the right colors and the right wild look... it was not really cascading. I felt like the downward volume of the cascade was missing. It seemed just like a large nosegay style bouquet with a couple strands of greenery hanging down. Like I said, it was beautiful, but I just felt that we had discussed something much bigger and that cascaded a lot more so I was disappointed. The boutonnieres, bridal bouquets, restroom flowers, sweetheart table accessories and sprays were all correct and beautiful. My other complaint though was that the corsages were gigantic (too big for a wrist) and did not work; my mom could not wear hers because it was not pinned correctly and just flopped all over the place.

Communication could also be difficult with this florist- specifically nearer the wedding when no one would respond to my emails and I was worried that I would have none. Then the night before my wedding I got a response saying "got it" and that's it. They came through- but the communication was not professional.

Overall, they make beautiful arrangements and I was mostly happy with everything. But if you are to use them in the future- make sure you are explicit in what you want and be prepared for complicated communication.
